Could NBC be any less behind this show? No promos makes it tough for viewers to even know its on. Could they at least give it a fighting chance with new viewers? I just heard Hoda and Kathie Lee say that LJ isnt being cancelled officially. People have been on this and quickly! I love this show and will be sending my tube in to NBC exec's! I enjoy this show so much & I know a lot of people that like it too! There is not another show like it on TV right now. Someone on the message board had a great idea. I think NBC is tracking viewers online and counting those as points. Episodes can be found at NBC.com, HULU, itunes, and Amazon. Play those at home while your working and doing other things. I enjoy listening to the show even if I can't be in front of my tv or computer. It can only help ratings.

I look forward to LJ all week. How can NBC not see what a need there is for good programs like this. What do they think us 30 something's enjoy watching? It's not another reality show I can tell you that. My life is reality! I want to be entertained for once. LJ is full of beautiful, intelligent, working women like us. I heard today that NBC has canceled this show and I am writing to protest. Finally, we have a show with writers and actors with actual quality, and good old NBC is going to cancel it. Finally, viewers can see SOMEthing on TV with actual substance, and NBC is going to cancel it. What is wrong with this picture? Well I don't know if this was NBC or my local affiliate, but I hate it when I tune in to watch a show I've been looking forward to and there's some stupid completely unannounced movie or 30 year old show on instead! From the looks of it, I'd say that it's only the local affiliate here, but why are they doing this? I don't understand! They can't show their movie some time during the weekend? I love this show and so hope it does not leave- too many of my favorites do. I personally think this show is an inspiration to women! I do not live anywhere like NYC but I am a new Graphic Designer and watching this show really makes me think about the potential where I could take my career and what I can do, even though my plans are on a small scale. I just don't understand tv execs today. They spend huge amounts of money to come up with a show and then don't give people a chance to actually become interested in it before canceling it. It is waste of their money, it very much frustrates viewers, it destroys a lot of very good shows that just needed to get their footing. And most importantly, it has trains the viewers not to become attached to any new shows because odds are they will be cancelled. And so starts the vicious cycle. And they wonder why people are moving away from watching network tv in droves.

I like LJ. I really hope is stays on the air. I think it has a future, but NBC has so trained us not to get attached to anything......

I've posted here before and here I go again. I've enjoyed this show since day one and it looks like alot of other fans have to. I don't know if anyone here has noticed that ratings were DOWN this week from last week. I don't know what that means for the show. I was hoping with all the support from the fans the number would have been higher. Not the case here. I've seen the previews for the next episode and it looks so exciting but I wonder after the last episode(# 13) if that is it. It breaks my heart to think that it could be. It's like it takes the excitement out of watching the rest of the season. I guess we"ll just have to wait and see. If NBC don't renew it maybe another network will pick it up. NBC has given this show a raw deal anyway.

This is such a great show and if the ratings don't pick up, it will be so sad to end it in 4 episodes without a real ending. How could NBC possibly expect improved ratings with a new time or day every other week and no promotions to get fans excited about watching it. I'm tired of falling for a show and then it gets cancelled. For that reason I have limited the number of shows that I watch to 3, with Lipstick Jungle as the only new show. I decided to give it a try because NBC highly promoted it, so I figured it was a keeper-now you're going to cancel it! If you are going to highly promote it at the beginning, then NBC should continue to fight for it and promote it now. The preview for the last 5 shows (now 4) is great...how can they be considering cancelling this show? I know the ratings are poor, but there are a lot of viewers once you add DVR numbers in. Get creative NBC! Find a way to make the number of total viewers appealing to advertisers. TV viewership is changing, so you need to change the way you do business to keep up with the times. I am shocked that LJ could be cancelled. It's such a great show. I'm tired of fake crime shows, reality TV is getting really old, and it amazes me that NBC execs think people would rather listen to Rosie's loud, annoying voice and her opinions that I don't care about. Deal or No Deal is extremely pointless to watch because NO ONE ever wins. Therefore, if NBC cancels this show, the only thing I will ever watch on this network is football...and there's usually not much on that on NBC. On behalf of boyfriends everywhere, this is the only show that im forced to watch and secretly enjoy. I absolutely despise Sex and the City and lifetime movies, but this show is entertaining. I love the show and can't bear the thought of it ending on a bad note (Nico and Kirby apart). Viewers, please watch it live to secure a third season. NBC, please promote the new time for the next two weeks so viewers know where to find the show and new viewers get interested. Writers, you don't need to stir things up for every episode. Viewers do actually like to see relationships going well and people being happy once in a while. I can't imagine that a woman in her early 40s that finally decides she actually wants a baby would abandon a great relationship to go the in-vitro route instead. No one would prefer to have a baby all by themselves when they actually have the possiblity of having a baby with someone they love. Try and be a little more realistic here...you don't always have to make up the most twisted scenarios to make good entertainment.

It would be sad to see Nico having a baby by herself when she could have a beautiful family with Kirby. The problems, dramas and conflicts could be somewhere else for a change... I agree that the Thanksgiving episode was ridiculous. You need to stay true to the character's personality and be consistent from episode to episode. Kirby can't be mature and want to be in a serious relationship with an older woman in one episode and act like a teenager in the next. He would have never completely abandoned Nico for the whole evening even if he was tired of taking care of the baby. It was his idea in the first place and it was not her fault that Megan did not come back. He also would have never been such a jerk in front of her friends. The show is much better when it is more realistic. Not all shows need to have twists and turns in every episode to keep viewers coming back for more. Sometimes viewers like to see relationships working and evolving. Think about it! I think fans want to see Nico and Kirby make it work. Why do older men always score with younger women, but it never works the other way around???

Really, I don't think the show is to blame. The advertising for the show is to blame. I did not even know the show came out on Fridays. I have been watching the show online. The preview is only on the website. NBC needs to promote the show during the Today show and during their prime time line-up. I'm sure the NBC heads read the New York Times on Sunday. Did they see all the articles on how TV viewership is changing and how they need to find new ways to advertise (Michael Eisner in business section and NYT Magazine article)? If LJ really gets so many viewers via on-line and DVR, NBC needs to be more creative with advertisers. Why not figure out a new model with this show. It seems like a perfect fit since the show definitely has the right demographic watching it. Get creative NBC...try to save this show! Fans love it and you could really grow the numbers if you would just promote it and let people know what time it is on now (4th change in less than 2 seasons!)!

I ADORE this show. It is the only show that I watch. I can't imagine that NBC execs would consider canceling this before it has a chance to really get its footing. Moving the air time around like crazy can't help! 9:00 on Friday is better than 10 -- but it seems to me that a huge part of the audience would be OUT on a Friday night. I just finished watching episode 8 & 9 season 2 online and for the life me I can't figure out WHY NBC would want to cancel this show. Lipstick Jungle is amazing. The cast, clothing, jewerly, shoes, purses, most of all the acting. The music for each episode is fantastic. Some of the artist I've NEVER heard of them and I am trying to find these songs because they fit the scenes so well. I send my congrats to who is responseable for that part of the show. And lastly Ilene if you have any contact at all with NBC PLEASE tell them to change the TIME on the website. It still advertises the time at 10:00 on Fridays. The news of cancelation did'nt help any, there are alot of fans out there thinking this show has been canceled. All of us fans are working our butts off to try to save this show and NBC doesn't even promote it. A show like this shouldn't even be a part of NBC if the network can't give it what it deserves.

I love the show and think that NBC could make it work if they put a little more thought and effort into marketing it and promoting it. Promote the show NBC! The Taxi TV ads in NYC have the wrong time listed for the show. They say Friday at 10. If you don't let people know where and when to find it...how can they watch it. This is great! I haven't seen so many people sign a petition to keep a show alive!! I am glad I signed it! There are no shows like Lipstick Jungle on any other network but yours. This is a great show and I hope those executives give it a chance. I think the show will prove to them on it's own that it will be a great success...don't give up on it! Hello hello NBC Execs!!!! What are you thinking!?!?! In my opinion and with the outmost respect, NOT MUCH!!! What is this about cancelling the best show to be created, produced, and aired in the last 7-8 years, if not the whole decade. Lipstick Jungle is one of the best written, produced, and the cast... Great actors, everyone just fits their part, and character. It's about time a show reflects the true reality of the day to day life of not only three successful career women, but three women period. Finaly a show that is worth watching, and not like all that "Reality" T.V. junk that's bombarted every station in this nation. So, with that said, pay attention to the quality of the work, and not the quantity of your numbers. Obviously the show was picked up because all of you Network "BIG SHOTS" saw something that was not only catchie, but something that was unique to air on your station. So, c'mon... Put your thoughts on what the ratings should be or not on hold for a second, that will make your pay checks increase, and pay attention to the quality of the work Lipstick Jungle is. KEEP IT ON THE AIR!!!!! It's not a good show, it's an amazing STORY TELLING show.

NBC...there must be a way you can make this show work. While I understand that ratings are important to get advertising dollars, DVRs and on-line viewing are not going away. The consumer watching this show is a marketer's dream...can't you find another way to make advertisers happy? A lot of people are watching and loving this show. It would be such a shame to cancel a show that could be a big hit with a little more time. The show could also bring new viewers to your network if you could find better shows to broadcast along with it. You have given it a bad night and time slot, yet the viewers that still know it is out there are watching it. Get creative NBC and save this show...you have nothing else like it! Try promoting the new day and time.

This is the only show with female leads that are not bone heads, or have serious issues. This show gives women permission to be strong, smart, beautiful and successful in work and family. NBC...your promotions department is a disgrace!!! Why can't you even throw in one 10 second promo for LJ's new time on Friday. You promoted every pathetic show in your stable at the end of the Today show (twice!), but couldn't even mention Lipstick Jungle. Oh and you have decided to air TV's best holiday moments before Lipstick Jungle...that should really bring in the viewers...NOT!!! You put LJ on Friday night (graveyard shift), change its time (again...4th time), have a 2 week hiatus from showing it and then don't even promote it once. How can you expect anyone to watch it live??? No one in their right mind is home voluntarily watching TV on a Friday night. You need to give people a reason to turn it on live. I can't understand why you don't at least give it a shot at good ratings for the next four weeks. The preview clip on-line is great...more people would watch if you just tried to pull them in. Ilene, what are the chances of another network picking LJ up if it were to be canceled? I think Goldstick's comment about the lack of promotion from NBC hit the nail on the head. The show needs LIVE viewers so badly but NBC does nothing to help promote it. I don't understand why-LJ could be a HUGE success if given a chance. How can NBC say they have an "incredible passion" for this show in the NYTimes article and then not even try to promote the show??? If you are going to keep moving a show around (especially after sending it to Siberia...Friday) you need to promote where to find it. Of course women are DVRing it...it is too time consuming to keep track of when you are airing it next. NBC also has very little that this consumer wants to watch on their network. Try adding some other relevant programming around this show...then maybe you can get a LIVE audience! You finally have a great show on your network and you are not even trying to save it. Try showing some "passion" and PROMOTE LIPSTICK JUNGLE!!!

Despite the optimism in the New York Times article, Lipstick Jungle is not on the January 2009 confirmed schedule for NBC. They have decided to bag most of their shows in favor of a ton of reality TV. Who wants to watch Howie Mandel in a hidden camera program...can you say "FLOP"!!! In case Lipstick Jungle fans are not interested in watching that pathetic excuse for programming they can tune in to other reality shows like "Superstars of Dance" or 2 hours of "The Biggest Loser"...do you really need to air that show for two hours...can you say PAINFUL!!! If you don't like reality TV then you can watch encore presentations (otherwise know as repeats) of Law and Order SVU on Wednesdays at 9:00pm. I can't believe NBC is using a prime progamming slot for repeats...haven't you milked Law and Order for long enough. Invest in some new programming! I for one will not be watching any NBC come January! Any network that can't take a great show that appeals to their prime target consumer and make it a hit (have you ever heard of promoting your shows?) doesn't deserve viewers!

I love this show and people are right that NBC has sabotaged it. Not only do they not promote it, they started the show against the top rated shows on tv...no one had any spare DVR space to catch it on Thursdays when the night's jam packed anyways. Then they changed the time and days to only find out that it had been changed again with barely any notification. Come on, I'm not ad exec, but let the show get a loyal fan base on an easier timeslot then put it against the heavy hitters later on, not the other way.

The news of Lipstick Jungle being #1 for DVR viewing shows it has tons of fans watching. It proves people are watching-may not be same day live but people are watching. I think if NBC would promote, promote, promote this show to get the LIVE viewing numbers up this show could be on the road to recovery. Finish season 2 on Fridays @ 9:00 and come back with season 3 on Sun. or Mon. night @ 9:00 and NBC would find the numbers they're looking for. Sounds pretty simple to me so let's do it NBC. Please don't cancel this show! It's really the only show of substance for women right now. Whoa I just checked out the NBC schedule for January and it's terrible. Pretty much says what they think about their viewers - dumb and lazy. Maybe Lipstick can get picked up by a better network or go on cable. NBC's shows are really awful. I'm so over reality crap and Law and Order. Gimme a break. We're smarter than that. I'm a lawyer, and if you want smart people who can actually buy the products you advertise, get some more intelligent programs pronto. Lipstick is the best thing this network has, if you ask me.

The "big people" involved in this show Bushnell, Goldstick, Maybelline, Bushfield, and any others please please push NBC to promote this show more. If LIVE viewing is so important for the paid advertisers NBC needs to promote it. All of us fans adore Lipstick Jungle and would love to see it stick around for a long time. Hello everybody that works on Lipstick Jungle and those watching the show! Even here, in Spain, we've been able to find out that it's possible the show could be delayed or canceled. Though this is very unfair because of its real quality and great efforts of LJ's people; and although there is still hope that we can see a third season in 2009; I wanted to take this chance to give THANKS to all those who helped Lipstick Jungle become a reality. Your team is an amazing one who works like a big family, and this is not difficult to see on the screen. So, thank you again, family, for all the good moments we had with you and for sharing your talent with us. Lipstick Jungle actually got a promo during the final hour of the Today show. It was only a couple of seconds long, but it is certainly better than nothing! NBC...do you really think it makes sense to promo shows that are not running until January over shows that are running tomorrow? It would be one thing if you had come up with an original idea, but promoing a dancing show that is airing in January when the other networks have already done other versions of this concept is weak. Viewers are looking for new ideas. Try coming up with another show that appeals to intelligent female viewers and air it alongside Lipstick Jungle. Maybe you can get a real following for both shows and some additional viewers for your network. Get creative NBC...your network could use it!

I don't get to watch many adult shows with a kiddo in the house but I absolutely can't wait for this show every week, and make it a point to carve out time to watch. I LOVE it and all the actors! I was devastated to hear it was going to be cancelled. I am so glad the petition was started and I surely hope NBC listens. This show is as captivating to me as Sex & the City!

You didn't promote her being in it. So many people would have tuned in to see her and would have gotten exposed to the show. That was an amazing epidose and the scene where she was singing was great! Please don't miss another great opportunity. Promote that episode! I just can't figure out what your marketing team is thinking. You have a great program with an amazing cast and you don't even try to attract new viewers. The people that watch this show have busy lives...you need to at least try to entice them. This is my favorite show of all time. As 45 year old woman I can totally relate to these woman. I love that we are involved in their lives. Even though they have exciting wonderful careers, their personal lives are just as trying, difficult and wonderful as your average woman. PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW ON THE AIR. Many of the episodes strike a cord in me but none as much as this past Friday. Getting ready to give myself shots in prep. for IVF and watching Nico go through it was almost comforting to me. I love the idea of Nico and Griffin together. It makes it more believable. They have so much more in common and I loved how he took care of her when she fainted. She is such a strong women but i love the softness to her. She needs a stronge man to be with.

A TV show starring Andrew McCarthy (OMG!) and the rest of this incredible cast is such a treat from NBC! More reality shows? Are you crazy? This is the first show I have watched on NBC in years, if you cancel it guess it's back to ABC, CBS and cable! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't cancel this show!

I have been unable to log on to the petition site. I definitely want to appeal to NBC to continue with LJ. Executives have caused many of the problems with their schedule. Advise or please send link where I may add my protest against cancellation!!!

They have wonderful guest stars and are not promoting it. As if they want the show to fail. Promote it more!!! I love Nico with Griffin!! They make such a great match. Kirby is cute but was more a sex toy. Not saying I did not enjoy their time together but she needs a man, not a boy.

In addition to signing the petition and sending in lipsticks, call and visit the advertisers that run during the show!! Call the car dealerships, visit the websites and any stores. Tell them you saw them on Lipstick Jungle and that's why you're there! LJ is the only show where I actually watch the commercials.

Im begging-don't cancel this show!!!! It is the best show on television and I couldn't wait for the holidays to be over so I could get more Nico, Wendy and Victory. There is nothing else like this on television and we need it. Its everything I want in a show. Suspenceful, beautiful to look at, georgeous clothes, real life situations, no ones getting murdered, its every thing. I do not look forward to any other show at all and will just stop watching tv once they take this off!

Please,please don't cancel this show. It is one of the best shows NBC has put out in a long time. After ER goes off the air I won't be tuning into NBC to watch anything if they cancel Lipstick Jungle. It's truly sad that they would take quality programming off just so they can make room for another ridiculous "reality" t.v. series. These women on this show represent my generation and it means a lot to us. I am begging you, NBC, have a heart and keep this show on.

My family watcheed every episode live...but NBC kept moving it around.

Let it live in one place...there's enough crime shows and thjree L&O's on the schedule anyway. Bring LJ back and keep it in one time slot so we can find it.

Please bring Lipstick Jungle back on the air! I so miss it. It is a great show for adult women to enjoy. I love the Friday night spot. Please bring it back!! I actually stopped watching Desperate Housewives because I like this show so much more. Get rid of the stupid reality shows like...Howie Do It and other garage and bring back Lipstick Jungle. My sister and I are sooo disappointed with NBC for moving LJ around so much. Cancellation is what happens to shows when you move them around like musical chairs.. nonetheless, we followed it and were faithful watchers. All of our friends watched it and looked forward to discussing what happened on each episode until finally it disappeared. This is a talented cast with great storylines. This show could blossom if given a chance to grow. LJ does have a dedicated audience and I believe if you have read the many comments from the fans and appreciated us watching NBC you would find a home (day and time) for this great show. Example: If you plant a seed and want it to grow into a flower you can't keep digging it up and moving it around if you want it to survive and blossom. Please bring LJ back!!!
