I love the new time slot! I agree -- It was too difficult to stay up late on Wednesday night after racing home from dance class and getting kids in bed and lunches made. By then I just need to crash! On Friday, I can have a glass of wine and relax with no guilt. Thanks for giving me a little indulgence! I am worried, however, that people don't know it is there on Friday night. I found it completely by accident. You need to advertise this or I'm afraid you'll lose the less dedicated viewers -- and that just will not due!

this is the best show on tv!

This show is such a breath of fresh air from the other shows on TV. It is perfect as a busy working mom to enjoy an hour of being swept away from the jungle of my home into someone else's jungle. The episode on 11/7 was one of my favorites. The writing is great and the cast is wonderful!

I just watched (again) last Friday episode. I can't get enough of Nico & Kirby.

Please promote the show this week! Let people know they can see it on Fridays. You can't improve its ratings if no one knows it is on. It was a great show last week that could of hooked many more viewers if you had just promoted it. What about Sunday nights after Monday night football is done for the season? Thursday nights would also be great. It is not a good fit with Crusoe...2 totally different audiences. Nico and Kirby were great last week...great lines and amazing chemistry!

I curled my fingertips in towards my palm and held tight my sick accomplishment; I had brought him to his knees. His weakness and dependency that I so longed for was mine and I felt nauseated that I took those years from his life, and from ours together. I took my strength and relentless stealth, and let it sink. I melted into his arms and puddled on his chest. I lay there asking for his comfort, his forgiveness, and for his love again. We stayed there and he let me cry. The darkness seemed to last an eternity. I was reluctant to breathe because it allowed and acknowledged the moments that passed. The irregularity of my gasps gave away my tears.
We had spent years building that big empty house, and I refused to fill it with love. My contempt for his brief mistake, his affair with foolishness denied us both of countless memories. I stuttered on the balls of my feet and appreciated very much the stability that the wide wood planks offered beneath my frail legs. The color of the floors I chose and he smiled because he anticipated the choice, and I found myself frozen between the living room and kitchen realizing that I had not thought of that moment, a fun and fond memory, in years. I heard him begin to rustle behind me and without speaking we both began to contemplate what explanation we would offer our daughter when she made her way from her bed to her spot in the kitchen.
Every morning Grace would quietly round the corner at the top of the stairs and I knew she was soon to make her daily debut when I heard her fingertips brushing along the wall which offered her a little support as she peered through sleepy eyes. Her first recognition of a new day began once she was perched on her stool, her legs tucked beneath her, teddy at her side, all warmed by the morning light that shown like a spotlight upon her breakfast thrown. I waited so patiently for her to welcome the day and understood her groans and reluctance to waking up. I was never a morning person myself until I had her gorgeous face to look forward to.
I was on the opposite side of the counter, usually my morning race track, but I stood there so flirtatiously as I looked for a second coffee cup and hoped so silently that I got it right. He gestured to me questioning whether he should stay or go, as it was our last opportunity to avoid our daughters’ curiosity and excitement. I was so embarrassed that he had to ask if he could stay for breakfast, in the home that he built for us, for all of us. I shook my head and looked down, a bit ashamed that I had alienated him from what was his dream too.
I had just begun to wonder when my nerve would return or if it would, when I heard those tiny five fingers against the wall making their way down the stairs. I looked up and our eyes met. Shane straightened his shirt, hoping he had would at least make an appropriate greeting and we nervously awaited our morning sunshine. She rounded the corner slowly and her usual groggy stumble turned in to a bounding sprint. My heart broke again, just for her this time. He met his daughters’ reach mid air and as she wrapped her legs around him I wished I were there too but settled for a firm grip around my coffee cup to remind myself that composure could not be lost."

The last scene with Nico and Kirby was great...why did they both look down at the end?

There is no way NBC has not written this show off already. Once again we have had yet another week of no promos for Lipstick Jungle. Wednesday and Thursday night are being promoted over and over and when you get to Friday night promos you just advertise Deal or No Deal. This week's episode looks like it is so promotable...why don't you just try a few promos and give it a chance. Do you really think there is anyone out there that does not know that Jennifer Anniston and Anthony Edwards are going to be on this Thursday night? It is actually annoying not enticing when you play the same promos over and over. It would be one thing if you did an amazing job of promoting this show and it had poor ratings, but you have never given it the same attention that you have given to your other shows. NBC could really use some big draws and you really do not have any other shows like this one...just try promoting it for one week!

I too love this show!!! I love the characters and the story lines. I also love the fact the Wendy and Shane's relationship is so strong and that they continue to make it over life's hurdles. NBC...could you at least air the rest of the 13 new episodes that have already been shot? What about trying them on Mondays now that My Own Worst Enemy has been cancelled too. I have written once already and will say again DONT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!! It is official though unfortunately. Like everyone said, without promotion, people won't watch. I havent seen one promotion on TV for this Friday's show. Lets all write the President of NBC and all others and get a petition going or something. I remember a couple seasons back there was a group of people that wanted to keep a show, and they brought it back because there was such support of it. Kathie Lee and Hoda on the Today show just talked about the two of them being part of an upcoming LJ episode. They said they were going to play themselves interviewing Nico and that they had not shot the episode yet. If NBC has cancelled the show and completely stopped all promos why are they still shooting? NBC is missing a big opportunity by not promoting this show. If you just gave it half a chance the target viewers would grow. Women LOVE this show!!! DON'T cancel it!!!

DON'T CANCEL LIPSTICK JUNGLE!!! I can't believe that LJ gets that bad of ratings! Well I can now that they moved it to Friday. It seems like NBC does that when they want a series to fail so they can cut it. I know a ton of people who are going to be upset when they find out. What do they base ratings on anyway? Nielsen ratings are all based on polls and I have never been polled. This always happens--Fox canceled Arrested Development, which was the only show I watched back then, and NBC would have canceled 30 Rock if it hadn't won 2 Emmys in a row.
Do they consider online viewing at all? I always miss the shows on TV and decided that rather than getting Tivo, I could just watch my shows online. So I have watched every episode of Lipstick Jungle online, and it's totally bogus that they're canceling it.

At least be bold, NBC. I'm a man and used to be an avid House fan. However, I have only watched a few episodes since they got rid of the original cast. NBC, I dare you to run Lipstick Jungle in the same time slot as House! Forget Fridays, no one can ever catch the show then. I think you have a program that's a lot better than House is nowadays anyway. House ran out of plotlines a long time ago, but LJ always keeps me on my toes. The problem is that the show is advertised as if it's Sex and the City, but the truth is that it is SOOO much better. I think every guy WOULD watch Lipstick Jungle if he knew the stories were sexy but not as ridiculously over-the-top as the Sex and the City ones. Also, you never advertise how hilarious the show is!
Oh, earlier I said I only watch 30 Rock and LJ, but I just realized I lied--I also watch Heroes. I've been a fan of Heroes since the beginning, and I usually watch those episodes online as well. Consider how Heroes has wound up beating all competition thanks to its fan base. And let's be honest, it's stopped making much sense. I still watch it, though. However, if you cancel LJ, I may have to boycott Heroes as well. I'll stay with 30 Rock so you don't cancel that, too, but the decisions you guys have made lately (who was the idiot who decided to give Christian SLATER a TV show?) are downright ludicrous.

I cant understand why it is being canx other than it is on a F night with other good shows too ( i.e. Starter Wife) I happen to watch both and since both are on at the same time I have to TIVO both so that I can watch them later. NBC...if you really are still watching the ratings before canceling the show...please promote it!!! You have to give LJ a fighting chance if you want it to succeed. People that watch it, love it. Couldn't you at least run a couple of promos for tonight's show during the Today show? Do you really need to promo next week's shows instead? You are running promos for Deal or no Deal (very painful/worthless show) and not including what comes on next. Just give it 10 seconds...you would let the viewers know that the show is still here. SEW-M from Norway, I'm not sure I believe what you said you read on IMDB's website about Lipstick Jungle not being cancelled. Not saying that you're lying, I just think NBC would try to send out a statement announcing the mistake if it is a mistake, since it was discussed on The Today Show, and not to mention all over the Web. As of 2:23pm est, Friday, NBC hasn't even updated its site from Thursday. You would think they would try to correct any misinformation being spread. That would be the logical thing to do, unless they are looking to see what type of response the news creates. Like many others have said, I think NBC has good shows but because of its lack of commitment and or balls, those good shows disapear and replaced with cheap uninteresting crap. Awful awful news! This show is such an inspiration for driven females. I am sick of comedys and couch potato shows! The show is so involving and dynamic!

It was well written, amazingly directed, and all the actors were adored in so many ways.
I haven’t seen such an edgy and intriguing cast in awhile. To be honest I basically stopped watching NBC for a long time until this show came on within one episode I was instantaneously hooked. Right when I’m in you pulled me right back out. Rating must be garbage because I could name a substantial amount of people that adore this show, watch it regularly, and are sad to see the production closed!

No wonder NBC is the worst network. They don't know how to market a show...they claim the ratings are no good...whenever they have a show that's good, they cancel it. Look what happend to Friday Night Lights..now because of the public they brought it back. Let's hope enough of us complain enough and they bring Lipstick back before too long. I know there is the option to watch missed episodes on the site, the problem is I'm from Ontario, Canada. Canadians do not have the abiltity to watch the episodes. We are told "this feed is not available in your location". How do I get to see the episodes I missed?

me and friends absolutely adore LJ in the UK, but season 2 finished its air on Living TV ages ago, when is there going to be a new series??

I live in the Uk and have been awaiting the return of lipstick to our screens and have to strongly agree with everyone else, please do not cancel, I love this show more than any other, it does replace SATC, I weekly scroll the channels to see if it has returned. When I watch the show NOBODY is allowed to speak or move, thats how good the show is, so don't be insane BRING IT BACK!! Please!! I hope it gets snapped up by another channel because NBC havn't a clue!
