Ugh, I want to do anything but stay home Friday's. I hate that I am gonna miss the show. Guess I will have to catch it online. I am a mom but It was easier to watch once the kids were put to bed. Disappointed?! This is by far my new favorite show!

I am not happy with the change! Like Shani said I DO NOT want to stay home on a friday night!What is going on? I heard the show is going to cancel because viewers are droping. Is this true? This change is only going to make the show lose viewers!!! I guess we will have to catch it on line. the good thing.... less commercials

Rumors are circulating that Lipstick Jungle might be ending - please tell me it isn't so. I love this show and look forward to watching it each week. NBC needs to look closer at some of the other programs that definately should be canc'd and keep Lipstick on. NBC needs to take a poll from their viewers and they would know what I mean. Some of the half hr comedies could go bye bye. If they can'c it, I'll just have to go looking at programs at other stations.

I agree that this is not good news :( Between moving it around from Thursday to Wednesday and now Friday, it seems the network isn't doing much to help it get some numbers and a following. Friday nites are an awful idea - I'll be watching online as well.

I saw LPJ on a top 10 list of shows likely to be cancelled. This is really a shame - like a lot of posters, I'm over the crmime drama stuff and it was nice to have TV women you could connect with, now that our S&TC girls aren't on the tube anymore. I guess there aern't enough of us who prefer this type of programming over all the L&O type shows.

I agree with Michelle, there are already enough depressing crime dramas along with the depressing news every night. This show not only gives women an escape but also does a great job showing empowered women who aren't perfect and have real issues to deal with too...all while in a fabulous backdrop like NYC! If the show isn't working on Wednesdays at the 10pm slot, then move it to an earlier timeslot during the week, but Friday nights are the kiss of death. This is a great show with GREAT acting. I'd hate to lose it for me and for lots of other women out there that love this show that isn't just another crime drama.

Why not put the show on Monday or Thursday at 9 pm? I think that it's alot easier for moms once the kids are put to bed and things are quiet and when the day seems to stop. I won't be able to see it on Fridays... I have a million things to do on that day and the kids are still running around bc its Friday. THIS SUCKS BIG TIME!!! How do we protest? It'a the only show that I would go out of my way to watch.

NBC you need some new marketing materials. Advertise it, send out e-mails or at least put something nice on your web page that we could send out to ALL of our freinds. Put it on Mondays, Wednesday or Thursday at 9 or 10 pm. Let's do this... this is by far your BEST show for ever. DON'T CANCEL IT.

fg - I think it's not about using DVR. When NBC is checking Nielsen Overnight Ratings only people who are watching the show when it's on TV are counting.

I agree that I really looked forward to it on Wednesday as a way of getting over the hump. After putting kids to bed I could relax and watch something besides Scooby Doo!! I love this show!!!

What is refreshing about LJ is that the characters' professional lives do not simply act as a backdrop to their insipid love dramas with any of the McHotties. You get to see women achieve great accomplishments in both their professional and personal lives...which is something that most "chick flicks" abandon in favor of pushing some romantic story line via counterintuitive, silly (albeit, "plot changing") choices. In most shows women are stereotyped by either being the stay-at-home good wife, or the emotionally-stunted career woman. Thank you for finally broadcasting a show that highlights all that women have to offer. It allows women from all walks of life to identify with similar challenges faced by the characters.

I LOVE THIS SHOW! Please don't cancel! Very empowering! I like the characters even better than Sex and the City!

If you don't market the show...no one will watch it. First you missed a great opportunity during the olympics (gymnastics and diving) and now you are spending all your time promoting crime night and shows that are not on until next week. At least let viewers know that you moved it to Friday (even though that time slot is the kiss of death). Sex and the City took time to catch on...you should really give this show a fighting chance...this is what women are looking to watch...they just don't know it is out there. Get creative people!

Yes fg, you can lay off the condescending tone & over-posting. We know about DVR, but it doesn't count in the Nielsens. Not to mention some of us still like to watch it on the tube. My sister watches in NY while I watch in Chicago, and we enjoy chatting about it as it airs.

I agree with Anne. I just started watching this show in the second season and I love it! I didn't even know about it until I got online and watched an episode on NBC.com. There are way too many shows focused on men and masculine subjects. Keep this show around because women will really appreciate it once they start to hear about it and watch it! Mom's do NOT always stay home on Friday nights and when we do, we hang out with our husbands who are NOT interested in watching LJ or have other couples over. To me, this is a death slot to the show. I looked forward to my Wednesday nights...alone...with LJ.

Working moms do not watch TV on Friday nights. Your problem is that you have not promoted this show. Women do not know it is out there. They saw it once last season and have not given it a second look. This season is so much better and could really keep viewers if you would just get them there. We all know that you have put Law an Order in LJs time slot (painful...at some point you need to move on)and that 30 Rock an ER are on Thursday. Now why don't you start promoting this show the same way. Try and draw some new viewers in and maybe your ratings will climb. Last Friday was the best episode yet and no one even knew it was on. You have great stars with amazing chemistry...how can you blow this combination without even trying to market it? The website is weak and poorly maintained...step it up and give this show a chance. ABC has managed to put out a few shows for women...why can't you??? You are missing a big opportunity. Since you have already made such a huge investment, why don't you follow through and try to make it successful??? Get your stars out there and market this thing!

Well crap. I really loved this show. I am a mom and I am more likely to watch on Wed nights than Fridays. Every time I get into a show you guys change it. You did it with Las Vegas and now this. Thanks NBC.

This is the WORST time slot! I love Lipstick Jungle but I don't plan on sitting at home on a Friday night to watch it. At that time I will be getting ready to go out!

I should be watching LJ right now...but that is no longer possible thanks to yet another episode of Law and Order. Can't you figure out how to promote this show? If you don't let viewers know it is out there, how can they watch LJ. Give it a chance with at least a few ads during your other shows. You have overexposed the rest of your shows...now try promoting something new. What about promoting your 3 stars? Can't you schedule appearances with the 3 female stars TOGETHER on the Today show and Leno? The scenes with all three of them together are some of the best in the show. Have them appear together on talk shows to attract some new viewers and let people know you moved it to the worst night of the week other than Saturday. You give up much too easily...this show could be a hit with a little effort.

I am really annoyed with the time slot switch! Can you just advertise "next week LPJ will be back in it's original slot with some unexpected guest stars!" *cue Rosanna, Kirby's Mom*... can't you? I mean honestly... the ratings are crap because there was no viewers... granted you might get a few more people on a NON-HOLIDAY... but still… do you really want to lose that kind of money? Canceling a show when so many people have invested time into it?
The website is great… but advertising and marketing the show are the keys... The main people were hooked in season 1… even from the first episode... and when I look back now at the S&TC first episode it was a lot alike… it was rough, we have to agree on that, but it was good. It took some tweaking and the writers have finally made something that is worth watching and worth taking time out of our busy schedules to slow down. (Not that our hearts aren't racing because of the plot twists)

I did an informal poll of every woman I know today and they all said they loved the show and watch it every week (even now that it is on Friday). They love the story lines, love the clothes and especially love Nico and Kirby together. No one can understand why your ratings are so poor. If the women that actually watch the show love it...you just haven't figured out how to make more of us aware of when it is on. Please market this show and give it another shot!

This is by far one of the best shows television to fill the SATC niche. I can't believe NBC would move it to such an inconvenient time slot.

You can continue to fill the prime slots with crime drama, but every genre has it's fans and you'll quickly appeal to only one type of audience. You're not HBO, you're a basic cable network... program accordingly.

I just want everyone to know how much I enjoy this show! It is such a great time to relax and watch women with such an influence on television! This show is so fun and fresh. Besides being a great runway for the latest fashion, they are real and the characters are all relatable! I have always liked Sex and the City, but honestly I love this show a little bit more. I think that you need to give it time to catch on and please do more advertising! Your age group is not just women in their 30's and 40's, I am 24 and I love it!

I invited a bunch of LJ fans over to watch the show tonight and not one of them had any idea that it moved to Friday night. They all missed it last Friday (best episode yet) and could not figure out where it was on Wednesday. If you do not promote the move, no one will know to look for it on Friday night. Was it really important to promote Man vs Mansion on the sci fi channel yesterday instead of Lipstick Jungle. This show could be a big ratings hit if you would just give it a chance. You have never put any effort into promoting it and it therefore has not gotten the ratings it deserves. I'm sure your investment to date is pretty big, so why not try promoting it instead of canceling it. Friday night is a very bad choice!

This sucks, it's horrible. Best show on TV for a while. Why don't the writers take it to a decent network that doesn't cancel shows before giving them a chance. LJ is a really good show, everyone is great in it and I don't understand why big cities like LA, NY, etc. don't get their ratings counted??????? Come on....viewers aren't stupid!!!!

I can't believe the news!!! Please reconsider Lipstick Jungle NBC! This has been a favorite show of me and my many friends. I agree, Friday is not a good time slot. You have children that play sports, etc. Please give it a little longer on Wednesday nights. There is no other show that is so entertaining to women. Please don't give up yet. I only watch one hour of TV each week and it was to catch LJ. My husband even watched it with me! We saw the writing on the wall with the move to Fridays. It was a great show. Thanks for nothing NBC!

apparently 5 more shows are still to be shown -- then thats it. what do we need to do to keep this show? also very good is My Own Worst Enemy -- but you have to "watch" it. not light viewing - but hugely entertaining.

I heard NBC is pulling the plug on another great show! LJ is awesome. R they serious for putting it on a Friday time slot?! Look at the other shows that they are deciding to keep... Kat and kim?????!!!! R they for real! That show has no grounds on LJ. I guess NBC wants to continue to dumb down their shows... unbelievable!!!

NBC needs a show like this for women, too many of the shows out there now are about crime or reality tv. Women want shows like this. NBC needs to give this show a chance. Friday night is a terrible night for this show, everyone knows that once a show gets moved to Fridays its over. Look at the success of SATC, this show has a lot of potential. It's really too bad that a quality show like this --one that tells a good story about strong, independent, mature and human women who actually GET ALONG and SUPPORT EACH OTHER instead of cat-fighting and backstabbing-- is facing cancellation. I could even believe that LJ faces the usual sexism and age-related prejudices, but I won't. Instead, I'll just ask why programs like "The Hills", "Gossip Girl" and "Boston Legal" stay on for years when a show like this is being cancelled? That says it all. Maybe we'd just rather watch teenage cat-fights and boys' clubs. Pity!

Friday night is good for me. I have long passed the Friday Night out syndrome! I love this show. It is really the only one of it's kind on NBC. All the good stuff is on ABC. Who watches shows on a Friday night? Not that it matters anymore. Still, the switch was the death of my favorite show.

Much preferred Wed, but I'll watch no matter what night, even if it means catching it on line. Between kids shows and sports, I get the TV for one hour every week. Why in the world is Lipstick Jungle being cancelled?? Everyone I know watches and LOVES this show! This is one show I looked forward to on WEDNESDAYS! I was a fan of Dirty Sexy Money last year and choose to watch Lipstick Jungle over it this year. Btw, no-one watches tv on Friday nights. It is very simple...Sex and the City was AMAZING...did it start out amazing...NO! Nothing starts out amazing! Did it get better with time? Well, let's see....it was a show that was on HBO, so people had to pay extra for the channel to actually see the show. Then after its many seasons of unparalelled storylines, world reknonwned fashion influence, and fan base like no other show, the show ended. The only thing that comforted us was that we later found out that two channels had picked it up to put it in sindication. Now any person with basic cable could join the revolution. And so the fan base exploded...causing a movie to come out which only brought in $55.7 million dollars on the first weekend it was out!

So, Mr & Mrs. Network Executives, if you feel that you want to miss out on the potential of $55.7 million dollars that could one day be yours...go ahead and cancel the show. But I think that the LJ fanbase is clear that this show is a success. The actresses are amazing. Most of us SITC lovers were skeptical to see if this was going to be a hit or miss and WE LOVE IT! Listen to us...stick with it....just a few more episodes. Don't pull another Las Vegas moment and screw us again!

i absolutetly love this show. Not enough good shows out there portraying stong women with successful careers.The women are very different yet so supportive of one another. This is a GREAT show and I LOVE THIS SHOW and I would hate to see it canceled. Theres too many crime drama,reality shows and no women shows. To the NBC TV executives, it would be a real shame if LIPSTICK JUNGLE would get the ax. There is not a lot of good shows on the BIG 3 networks (NBC, CBS, ABC), and if you want to keep pushing your viewers to the cable networks or the other two listed above, make that BONE HEAD call. What is going on? I tried to tune in Friday night what happened? Is it canceled? Is it coming back next week or next season. If NBC is not going to keep LSJ can they sale the show to some one else. I don't care what night or what channel I will watch.

I record this show each week but last week it did not record anything on 1-20-09 nor do I see it on the schedule. Is the show off completely? I hardly watch NBC except for this show. That is to bad.

I love this show there are so many poeple watching and talking about lj we have how many crime shows and medical shows. The time slot is awful time slot from hell. I am not going to give up on it

Lipstick Jungle has not been on in a few weeks and I see no schedule for it nor have I seen any commericials for upcoming shows? When is the next scheduled showing? In reading prior comments I hope this is not being canceled and even if Friday nights are a bad night that is what DVR is for. Please don't keep us viewers guessing on the outcome of this show. It would be a shame to end it this way, for it has alot of class. Thank you for listening and please respond.

This was definitely one of my favorite shows. My husband even enjoys watching it with me. Please bring it back!!! We always record it, regardless of the night it is on, so that no matter what comes up on the schedule we can watch it.
