I love the show. My life is in the dumps and I wish sometimes I could just spend all my time in the Office. Still searching for the meaning in this messed up World. You guys keep me going and that's not a lie. I'd do pretty much anything to get on the show.

i like the director/writer/the-responsible-person’s decision of allowing little screen time to toby in this episode; his absence just emphasized his importance in the show—we’re going to miss him even more.
also, best line (or at least the most sincere and revealing) came from toby: “pam, stay.”
like he needed her to save him from the sadness of the day. first he had to deal with michael’s incessant teasing/hatred, which toby isn’t able to laugh away anymore, or maybe he has just stopped caring. and secondly, none of the employees actually cared that toby was leaving and i think toby realized that too. to all employees it was just another event to celebrate or indulge in their selfishness. each character is too busy in his own life, in his own plot to realize that toby is leaving and never coming back. but, “pam, stay” is toby being honest. he doesn’t follow it with a laugh; it’s a sincere request. it just validates his feelings for her: it’s not a crush; he genuinely likes her.
