We're doing 28 episodes next year. I hope I'm not giving anything away, SPOILER ALERT: we're starting in September.
Thanks so much for all your support, we appreciate it so much, and sorry we said that about Wheaton South. Wheaton North rules!!!!
We're already hard at work on season five and we hope to see you next year. Cause tv's go both ways in the future. Thanks everybody!

Go Wheaton South!

Gotta say dinner party -- but I hate those writers so much. So I'll say, the last episode of M.A.S.H.

Turn around
every now and then I get a little bit stinky
and the farts are coming out of my butt
I need to fart tonight
I need to fart forever
and if you'll only pull my finger
we'll be smelling farts together
turn around, fart sound
Every now and then I cut a fart

Would you drink a beer/
If you saw it in heaven/
Would it taste the same/
If you drank eleven?
Take off your clothes/
And touch your toes
Cause I know we'll drink a beer
Beers in heaven

We shot a hundred and fifty alternate endings and aired thirty five of them in different cities. Which one did you see?

She was, actually. We're huge Wire fans here and the whole show has been talking about her for a while. We had her in mind but didn't know that we would get her. We're so happy she came aboard as Holly Flax, replacing Toby Flenderson.

We mix it up, focusing on different cast members. It was great focusing on Stanley in "did I stutter," and look out for Mose in Mose's New Bicycle.
We like hour long episodes because more of them have a chance to shine.

Michael Scott recently went to the doctor complaining about obama fever. He felt warm.
Every time there is a presidential election, Michael writes in Steve Martin.

Some have asked why there were so many writers acting in the show. Well, good question. The answer is simple: there are so few actors in LA, the writers must do double duty.

Hiya Buddy!

We try to balance all the aspects of the show -- romance, horror, comedy, educational, mystery, adult. Here's how it breaks down: We start breaking every episode with a Meredith mauling, then back it up from there.
We do try to sprinkle Pam and Jim moments throughout because too much of any one aspect of the show would overpower the rest.

7:19. What time is it on the east coast?

Longer than Jan. We had that card up on our idea board for a long time. Although we also discussed Angela's pregnancy being part of the show but it didn't fit in the storyline. So we hid her behind plants and purses and such.

I did not learn to type until college. Mindy has a song about me: "Paul is at the computer, everybody blow your brains out." So why not give this job to Jen who is sitting next to me and can type fast? If I show a single flash of weakness I'll be eaten alive.

I have always felt uncomfortable writing for myself, so it was easy and I'm surprised I didn't do it earlier?

Toby has left Dunder Mifflin and is going to Costa Rica. If they want to go down there and film on the beach, that's fine with me.
As for Paul, I'll be here working as a writer on season 5. Jen Celotta and I are running the show with Greg.

We're here. We're queer. We're reading questions...and in the state of California we can get married!
It's not just Paul, it's the entire writing team!

It's the season finale, so we're going to wrap things up with a live blog with Paul Lieberstein aka Toby! Be sure to join us on Thursday, May 15 at 10pm EST/7pm PST.
In the meantime, go ahead and leave your questions right here in the comments, that way we'll have plenty of things to talk about once we start blogging.
We're looking forward to May 15!
