Does anyone know when the next season of the Biggest Loser will be? I am blogging for my dad. He needs the Biggest Losers Help. Growing up I always remember my father being active, and always running. Id wake up in the mornings and he would be excicising in the living room. I would sit on his feet when he was doing sit ups. My father is my hero. Served 20 years in the military, owned his own business for seven years. Working crazy hours. Starting at 5am and not getting home until after 11pm…Christmas time he was lucky if he was home by 2am. A few years ago my father lost his business, and his health went down hill. He went from part time job to part time job…and now he doesn’t work…and is in school full time. My dad does everything for everyone. When a young boy in his neighborhood needed a place to stay, my dad allowed him to stay with him. And that Christmas that boy broke into his house and took money and Christmas gifts from under the tree that were for my sister…that year my dad was so proud that he had time to go and get gifts for my sister that it broke his heart. My dad deserves to be the next Biggest Loser and I want to know how I can give him this second chance at life. I am 27 years old and I have always had a weight problem..I want my dad to be around for his grandkids. I fear that if he doesn’t get his health together, he wont be. My sister and I moved together and have been in college for the last 2 years. I want him to see me graduate from college. I want him to see my sister graduate from college and be around for her kids…and shes only 19. I know everyone has their stories and know ones is more important than the others. Id just like my father to have the chance, he needs help and a good kick in the ass from the amazing biggest loser trainers.

I am 41 years old and have been overweight for over 20 years. I am currently 336 lbs and I am very disgusted with my looks,and I want to lose all this weight, but it is so hard when you have to take prednisone and other steroid inhalers every day and I was born with no thyroid gland. I have hypothroidism. I need your help PLEASE. My son Travis is also overweight because of steroids for asthma. He is almost 20 years old and weighs about 365 lbs

First of all I love the show. I am a big fan. I do have a question for you which is. I went to the DR. last week and he said I needed to add weights to my work outs because cardio is not working. I am now up to 256 pnds. how can I ever get this off for good?

I HAD GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY 3 YEARS AGO AND I AM DOWN TO 172 POUNDS FROM 327. IN THE BEGINNING I COULDN'T EXERCISE AFTER THE SURGERY, THEN AT 5 MONTHS OUT I GOT A HERNIA AND HAD TO BE CUT WIDE OPEN AGAIN AND WAS TOLD NOT TO WORK OUT FOR AT LEAST 8 WEEKS. SO I HAVE THE SKIN ISSUES AND WOULD LOVE TO RUN ON THE TREADMILL BUT THE LOOSE SKIN IS HORRIBLE AND SLAPS AGAINST ME AND HURTS :-( THE FASTEST I HAVE GOTTEN ON THE TREADMILL IS 4.0 WITH A 2.0 INCLINE :( NOTHING LIKE THE 12 MPH THE GIRLS RUN ON THE SHOW BUT I WOULD LOVE TO INCREASE IT. AND LITERALLY 20 SECONDS ON THE ELLIPTICAL AND I CRY LIKE A BABY. ANY ADVICE ON HOW SOMEONE WITH ALL THE EXTRA SKIN CAN UP THE TEMPO WITHOUT THE PAIN?

Hi Jillian and Bob.....I really like watching the biggest loser show. I wanted to give my 2 cents worth to express how unfair I think the show is being by allowing America to vote tonight for the 3rd finalist instead of Ali and Kelly. You are basically taking this control away from them. Why? Everyone else got that control....why shouldn't they? I could tell that Ali was very disappointed when it was announced. If I were in Ali or Kelly's position, it would be like a slap in the face to them, not letting them make the final decision....as it should be....like it's been in the past. It's only fair...tonight, in my opinion, it's not fair to them....they've earned this vote and they won't get to make it. I hope the show receives many, many e-mails about this decision and I feel they owe Ali and Kelly an apology for screwing up the game.

What role did stretching play in the workouts? I know it doesn't make for great tv, hence they didn't show it, but I would assume that was pretty important.

I have been watching since the show first aired. I love it. I find it to be the most wonderful reality show ever created. I am 30 and weigh 250. I wear a size 18 though. I am 5'7". I cannot seem to stay on track. I will do good for about a week and fall off my routine. The most effective diet I ever did was the low carb diet but I became very ill and was diagnoised with fibromyalgia. I really need to loose weight and would love the opportunity to come on the show, but is there anything you can give me for advice? I love you both, you each touch people in diff. ways. I am glad they got rid of blonde though, she was no where near both of your abilities. Thank you again for remembering those of us that seem so ridiculed in this world.

Yay for the girls!!! :):) Jillian, I just read your book and I loved it. My question is about following a diet plan as a vegetarian. I just read "Skinny Bitch" and it ruined me for life and made me unable to eat meat (and I'm super picky about food as it is!) I also don't make much $$ (I'm only 27) so what about eating healthy on a super-tight budget?

Jillian...you are the warrior for wellness....Bob you are the Buddha of health for our lifetime!!! The inspiration that both of you share with the contestants and all who have watched the show is limitless. I too have struggled with weight through my life...have managed to keep 27.5 pounds off for the last 3 years and watch your show to keep me focused on my journey. At what point do you know if you you've overdone it? I started with a need/goal of only 15 lbs and ended up losing 30 with no real reason to change what i am doing. I guess my question is when does it cross over to an unhealthy obsession?

I have a roommate that is only 5'2" and weighs between 320 and maybe 380 and she is in complete denial. I try to encourage her to get healthy and she knows she needs to lose weight but she seems to be terrified to actually take charge of herself and her health. She needs someone to help, truly help her. Even the doctors won't give her an appointment, they didn't seem to care that she was like this. They think that nothing is wrong unless something putred is coming out of your body. Please help her!!!! She is a great person who is not living at all and has never truly lived.

I got hooked on the Biggest Loser during Season Four and got my best friend hooked as well. I watch and am amazed at the transformations the contestants make and I am just like I want that. I have been over weight my entire life and I am only 24, so that is not much time. This show gives me hope, I look at Ali who when she started was my size and I say, it is possible for me to get to my goal weight. Thank you for all you do and maybe one say I will be on the biggest loser before and after success stories. Thanks!

I have heard that losing a lot of weight in a short amount of time leaves loose, baggy skin. But none of the contestants seem to have that problem. I am ready to start losing a lot, but I am worried about that little tid bit.

I LOVE YOU TWO! I have not missed an episode in the 5 seasons it has been on. I have been on ww for 2 years now and the most I have ever is 31 lbs. I seem to have hit a plateau. Can't afford a gym member ship and I am not allowed to use a tread mill(dr. orders). What can I do to get back on track? I would like to lose at least 50 to 75 lbs more. My weight is also a fertility issue. Any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

How do you work around food allergies? I have severe food allergies to milk protein and nuts so it has become difficult to find food choices. Any advise to work around these issues.

Hello to both of you. I see I am somewhat of an oddity here, seems like most of the posters are ladies. But that's quite ok. I am 38 years old, and about 5 weeks ago, I really started my most recent attemt at losing weight. I was 422 lbs. Now I am 384!! I know still quite huge, but it is a big plus, and wow do I notice a difference, I also, have a really bad back that I have already had surgery on. I am more motivated than ever....and right now the biggest difference is, if I have a bad (food) day, I now can bounce back the next day, and when I reflect on the bad food day...I realize that it was no where near, what my bad food days use to be.....yall are truly inspiring.

I am about 120 lbs overweight. I have yoyo-ed most of my adult life. I always gain it back with interest. To make matters worse, I am very bottom heavy and they need the jaws of life to get me out of chairs (I've got the worst bruises on my hips and thighs. How can I improve this area?


ive dropped to my ideal weight but i continue to have a belly fat. any suggestions on how to concentrate on flattening my stomach?

Jillian, you are so motivating when I searched for a trainer I kept saying I wanted someone like you. I now have a truly wonderful trainer and she pushes and motivates me at every session. I'm 53 weighed 293 at 6' tall 3 months ago I now weigh 258 and wanted to thank you for the inspiration, training tips and dedication.

Jillian,how do you compensate for a thyroid deficiency? I'm allergic to my medication & my thyroid barely functions- I take in about 1400 calories a day & exercise 2 hrs each day including aerobics & weights, with little change...oh yeah you rock!

How can I jump start my metabolism with a hyperthyroid?

I was always told by my doctor never to lose more than 1-3 pounds /week. More than that can put undo stress on the heart and other health problmes. People who have bariatric surgery are cautioned as well that rapid weight loss can cause problems. I am just curious as to how can they lose weight so rapidly, yet safely? Is it he proportion of fat vs water retention? Any ideas on that? I also want to add I think you two are great and I love the show I'm new to it this year its been a great motivator for me.

I would like to thank you guys for this wonderful show. I work as a 3D Senior Artist at Fuel Industries Inc (Game Studio) and a lot of our staff are overweight (computer work). For this reason the management organized a "Biggest Loser" employees challenge. The challenge started on January 21st and ends on May 1st. The goal is the same as the show, to lose the biggest % of our weight possible. We basically have no trainers, or guidelines. I came up with my own routine and diet which consist of eating around 1200-1400 calories, mostly yogurt, cereals, salads, eggs, chicken and fish. I also burn from 500 to 1000 calories a day doing fast walk & sprints (treadmill & heartbeat at around 140-150 bpm) I am proud to say that the contest is almost over (3 more weeks), I have lost over 58 lbs so far with this program.I train around 5-6 days a week. I have been so committed. I lost 24% of my weight so far, and hope to finish at 30%+ lost and 75 lbs total in 3 months. I am 26 years old, and I started at 250 lbs. I was getting health problem, high cholesterol etc... I feel so much better now! and watching everyone on the show motivated me a lot! Life is so much better now. I am planning to train more to develop my muscles now since my fat is gone and gain some mass. I want to go back to more of a "normal" diet, but controlling my portion. I used to eat over 6000 calories a day easily. I was wondering if you could give me any advices regarding a post weight loss diet plan. What should I aim for, what should I avoid?

I cannot eat Gluten foods. Can you recommend some ideas for meals?

You said a couple of weeks ago that the contestants get to eat a meal higher in calories after they weigh in- like what do they eat differently- I seem to be at a plateau

I was wondering if the contestants "cut weight" this week in the same that boxers and mma fighters cut weight? In order to lose 11 lbs in a week they would have to run a daily deficit of 5000 calories.

It is finally great to see 2 girls in the finale. This season was awesome. Bob and Jillian you guys rock!!

Thank you both for a great season. Jillian, you mentioned on your Days video that you will never get close to another contestant. Don't you think that helps them to know that someone cares that much for them no matter how much they weigh? I look for a connection emotionally. I believe that is just as important as the physical aspect. Thank you both again.

I think this season has been great! I'm really hoping one of the girls wins for once. Now a quick question...what do you think is the best weight loss plan for someone with a bad back and hip. It makes working out very difficult. I have lost 15 pounds just eating more healthy...but I need to lose much more. (195 pounds...5'2 female). Is swimming the only option?

I need a good way to break the sugar addiction. I crave it every day....I manage not to give into it every day but I crave it strongly every day.

What do you suggest for pool type exercises for someone needing to loose loads of weight, but is limited to a wheelchair.

Jillian....i absolutely look up to you so much! I am a 23 year old female and i weigh around 125 (5 feet 5 in.) and i have been working out a couple of times a week for years now. I struggle so much with my mid section and i cant seem to "find" my abs. It seems that i try hard to eat healthy and workout, but i can seem to get the stomach that i want. What can i do???? Please Help!!!!

Do you have any tips for binge eaters? Emotional eating. By the way I love you guys you have been an inspriation, I had bariatric surgery a year ago and now I am in the stage were the surgery isn't helping much anymore and it's all on me. Your show has been a big help

I had a car accident 7 years ago and have never been able to really bounce back to 100%. I can walk just fine but running hurts and if I walk a long time I start to walk with a limp. I want to work out but how can I do that in a safe way?

Bob and Jillian, I am a mother to 4, ages 12, 8, 6.5, and a new one age 3 mos. I am nursing our new baby, but because of a health issue, I have to stop all dairy and soy products out of my diet. I have lost all my baby weight so far and have lost 5 lbs under my prepregnancy weight, but have 50lbs or so to go. How am I suppose to go about this when having to eat a special diet and nurse?

I am 32 yrs old, 5'2" and weigh 115. Sounds good huh, BUT I can't even go up a flight of stairs or walk to the stop stop sign without needing a break! Nothing physically wrong with me either!! I have femoral petella knee problem. I have your new workout videos (Sculpting and Cardio) Sometimes the squats really hurt, should I fight through the pain, or only do those types of things when they don't hurt so badly???

I would love to try out for the show because I have a lot of health issues which could all be made better if I were to lose weigt. I am 30 yrs old, weigh 205 lbs and am 4'11". I am married and have a 2 yr old daughter who I want to be around for. However, I could not afford to take the time off...

Have you ever considered working with someone who has disabilities on the show? Just to show America that people who have health issues can not necessarily compete as hard as some, but can improve their lives drastically? As a heart patient who also has rheumatoid arthritis, I volunteer LOL!

I was put on my first diet at 4. I had the kitchen locked on me and been denied birthday cake by the time I was 11. I could go on and on about my issues with food... but you get the idea and that is only the tip of the iceberg with my obsession with food. Some are way too personal to reveal over the blog. My question is to you guys on what kind of supports are available for people like me... what are some ideas for me to get those supports? You guys are such an inspiration and I so wish I could be on the biggest loser ... but Im Canadian and Im not allowed... I just need that support that you guys offer... and Im wondering if Ill ever win my battle with food.

Had 2 back fusion surgeries in Dec. with complicating blood clot in left leg making it harder to do PT and home workouts.Been working hard to get stronger!Any suggestions?Thank you!

Great job guys. Would you suggest a hotel room workout that one could do without waking neighbors next door or below? Many hotels don't have alot of equipment availble so that leaves working out in the hotel room.

How can I jump start my metabolism?

I think the reason I don't get farther in my workouts than I do is because I DONT have someone like you pushing me to go past my own limits! And Bob I love how you bring them all peace with the yoga.
