hello,my name is deb I am 30 years old I am 5'1 and over 220lbs. I grew up being very active and fought very hard to stay a healthy weight, which coming from a family where both sides have a lot of obecity is not an easy task. Over the last 6 years in addition to getting older and my body chemistry changing, I have battled with depression and several injuries that have added to my weight gain I have comletely healed from the injurys and have tried everything I know to try and get back down to a healthy weight and just can't seem to get there on my own.I have watch family members of mine die from obesity related complications and I know that if something doesn't give I could be headed down that same track and it scares me. I have watched the show for years and dreamed of being able to get a chance to audition. Do you know when the casting calls for the next season will be or how I can apply to be on the next season? I’d love to see (and participate in) a Biggest Loser Weekend Warrior. Where the contestants aren’t coming completely off the couch. Where the goal could be to go from pudgy to ripped and not only go by percentage weight loss, but percentage reduction in body fat or reduction in time goals in 5K run or 40K bike ride. Something like that. As someone who has gone from 300 lbs to 250lbs and can’t shake that last 30-50lbs I’d be all in!!

We watch the biggest loser as a family and my older daughter wishes she could be on the show. She is only 12 but has always been off the charts for her weight and height. Is there any chance for a kid's biggest loser...At 12 she weighs 237 and is 5'5'"? We have been trying to do a "biggest loser family and she has, so far, been the biggest loser, but would love to find out if there is any advice you could give?

PS. I think it's great that these people (final four) "get it" there's a lot of people who don't and think of the gyn as a "social club" and it's not, that's just a waist of time, so as you can tell I'm not a social club girl, I go to work out for me cause no one else is responsible for me but me. So I love watching it gives me insperation at 4:45 am to get up and go. Your both great.

I am a 37 yr old mom of 2..my 10 yr old is Juvenile Diabetic. He is involved in sports, but can't seem to drop his weight from pills for asthma treatments from age 3. He's 130# and very upset that he can't lose weight. He is active, but he wants to join a gym so he can have a trainer like you two. I'm overweight myself and afraid of letting him down. Any suggestions?

I can get a leave for 1 month but any longer than that would definitely put my finances in danger and I would maybe loose my job as well.
So... how do the other contestants handle their finances while at the ranch?
I love the show, I think that the compassion that the two of you show to everyone is wonderful, I can so identify with each contestant that goes to the campus. I have been overweight my entire life, and I decided that this is my year to take my life back. I begin my life change in February and have lost 30 pounds. I am keeping a food journal, and keeping my calories around 1700 per day. I am walking and cooking healthier for my family as well. Thank you for your care and support. I hope the biggest loser is around for many years to come.
