Welcome back Jillian!!! You rock girl! Do you have any advice on just starting out to the exercise part of losing weight/getting my body back in shape? I have the eating under control, just do not know where to start. Like many other people on here, I am a working mom, so my "free time" is very limited, but would rather be doing something active than watching TV. I also cannot afford to join a gym or get a personal trainer, so that is out. Any advice you can give would be great. THANKS!!

How can I become a player on The Biggest Loser? I just got married on March 17th 2007, and I have struggled with my weight for over 10 years! I have finally found love in my life! It's nice to see you back. Need help I am a 25yr old stay a Mom that weights 218 lbs with three kids and ages are 4,2,and 14months. My husband is always out of town. So I hardly have time to myself. What is the best way to start my exercise program and what time of day is better??? HOw do I make the meals so my kids can eats them and like them?? Any suggestions will be awesome. I find that after have 3 kids in 3 years it harder to get myself to lose the weight like i did the other two time.
Please HELP ME!!!

Jillian, everyone talks about losing... is there a good way to gain? I weigh 163 lbs, and 42 years old. My Dr. says that every decade, you loose 10% of your body muscle. Do you have any ideas?

Welcome back! I’m glad to see you are back. I tried out for the show and thought I was lucky number 7 as I was 7th in line as we camped out the night before casting call. However, I guess I should not have believed in luck as I didn’t get cast. I just wanted to know do you do private personal training. I never thought I’d say I needed someone, but I am in desparate need of your help. I’ve tried to do it on my own, but it’s just not working. I have a very active soon to be 2 year old and I want to be here for him and play without getting tired. I am 32, 5'8", 323 lbs. Please can you help?

Jillian you may be my last hope. I crushed my heel last year (26 pieces) and fractured my ankle. I fell off a telephone pole while working. I can no longer function at the level I'm used to. I really need help, I'm depressed and my kids don't understand why Daddy is not fun anymore. 4 Beautiful kids. I just can't keep up now. Money is an issue but I am getting mad now and I want to focus it in an old school workout. Can you help me. One big problem I have is when I get down Food seems to be my only comfort. I have debilitating arthritis in the knee from a car accident that makes it difficult to even walk around the house. What can I do for exercise when I am so limited? I want to lose about 100 pounds. I work 8 hour days Monday through Friday. I work out in the morning and I workout when I get home from work. Do you think my workout plan is good?

What are they looking for when casting for the show? I really think that I could be a great candidate. I am determine to lose the weight but have no clue to how to lose the weight.

I am a graduate student, I work full time and I have children. I need the best work out that can be done in the shortest amount of time since I am short on that.

Hi Jillian, first i want to say thank you for doing what you do. You are a true inspiration. I've been overweight all my life but i've also been an athlete. Having been a college athlete, i know what it's like to go through tough workouts and be pushed to the limit but i still struggle with my weight. Lately i've had a great deal of hard times come up and have found it difficult to get motivated enough to lose weight. I want to do better. Also i was wondering what is the criteria to get on the show?

Jillian...first of all I hope the black team kicks some A$$! I swam competitively for 15 years and was very fit. Unfortunately at 36 its not like that anymore. I have 20 lbs to lose...have lost 10 of it. I don't have the facilities to swim anymore...but really need to tone the arms and work on the lower abs...help me please. I had my thyroid removed 14 years ago so have my metabolism controlled by synthoid. Need just a little direction from the best BL trainer!

After my football career ended I went from 325 to 475lbs. I've lost 75lbs in 4 months but have been stuck for 4 weeks now. Eating about 1500 calories/day. Workout 45-60 minutes per day. Any suggestions?

I work out 6 days a week doing at least 45 min cardio and alternating days of working body parts. I count my calories, fat, protein and carbs and have lost 45lbs but need to lose another 30-40. I have hit a plateu and haven't lost any lbs in a couple weeks..Any suggestions of what to do when this happens? Change workout, diet or both?

BL inspired me to lose 80 lbs. I'm now in terrific shape and am training for a half-marathon.

I'm also looking into becoming a personal trainer myself. Do you have any recommendations or advice for getting my certification?

Hey Jillian, Congrats on your win tonight. You totally kicked their Butts!! I know Bob is Shakin in his Boots right now!!! (even though its pre-taped) Anywho, I'm overweight and I'm trying to get finally get off my butt and workout. I popped in one of your DVDs and noticed that I needed an excercise bench and light-weights to workout with the DVD. Why do you use those as oppose to using using nothing like other trainers?

HI Jillian!!! I have lost 33 pounds on my own just walking after back surgery. Now I can exercise and have just started your DVD's for front and back for beginners. I have lost 3 pounds since Sunday. Should I alternate these each day and not take breaks or should I do them all week and then take the weekend off? Also is that enough cardio in your dvd or should I add more? I've tried local gyms but my size embarrasses me when I look around the room and see tight little bodies. I'm 140lbs overweight. hey jillian i am 20 years old and i just reached 200 pounds. About two years ago i was feeling really good about myself i was losing weight and in single digit sizes then i hurt my neck and exercising was unbearable. Well i finally got a doctor to help me with my neck and now i need advice on losing the weight. Most my weight is in my stomach. My family has a history of diabetes and i dont want that. i want to feel good about myself again as well. Any exercise and eating advise would be great. Especially anything to help the stomach like i said that is where most of my weight is. i think you are great on the show and it is truly inspirational thank you and keep up the awesome work

My husband was 803 pounds and had gastric bypass surgery. He is now down to 400, but is now bedridden due to complications of the surgery. What work-outs do you suggest that he can do in bed? You are such an inspiration! What is Your inspiration every day??? We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jillian...Can you help me? i am a 41 year old mom of 4. i am 5'8 and weigh 345lbs. ONE of my problems is that I have a broken vertebrae in my back from a car accident, and I am unable to walk more than 200ft at a time w/o extreme pain; I am unable to stand more than 10" at a time, nor can i sit longer than 20". I no longer work, and I have BiPolar disorder, so take many meds that don't help the weight issue. I am a Diabetic also and have my sugars under control with diet. What can I do to lose weight?? Hello, I am a huge fan of the show. My question is: How do you get over that plateau of weight loss? I lift and exercise daily, but for some reason I can't get the scale to change. How do I get back to that athletic body I am used to??

Hey Jillian! I'm working out to get back into shape/toned and lose weight for my sister's wedding next year and for myself. I've lost 25lbs so far and I have been thinking about training myself for a marathon...what types of workouts do you suggest?

I was a Division I athlete in college and always in shape but now, I am starting to add the pounds and while completely miserable about it, I cannot stop eating. I want too so bad but I just don't know how. What should I do?

You are my role model! I am 16 and i've stuggled with my weight my whole life, but I have worked really hard with losing weight and gaining muscle so one day I want to be a trainer just like you! I have taken on the task on training my mom, she is dangerously over weight and has a lot of health problems. I want to keep her motivated like you keep your team motivated! She has bad back and leg problems and it is hard for her to do certain exercises. Do you have any pointers on things she can do since she has bad back and leg problems? Any advice would be great! I am and have been try to loose weight. I eat weight watchers and make sure no meals after 7PM. My problem is I suffer from low back and neck injury and not sure what exercises other than walking will help me loose the 50lbs without causing myself more pain. I really need to loose as I know the extra weight is not helping my back. Please any advice would be great. Much success to all the teams!!

Like many others - I'm a huge fan I'm so glad you're back!!! I'm often short on time and rarely do more than 40 mins. cardio 3-4x week. If I have good muscle tone - i'm kinda stocky actually. Do I really have to make time for weight training? Should I just try to burn off the fat on top of my muscle?

I started losing weight about a year ago. I lost 55 using the Biggest Loser club. I stopped losing weight about a year ago and I am having a hard time being motivated. What would you suggest I do to start loding weight again?

I am a young lady who weighs about 230 llbs and am only 5'5. Can you please give me advice or help on some exercises and diet plans that I can do to lower my load (LOL)? I want to go down to at least 150...whats a realistic goal and time frame to do this?

I am so glad you're back! I have a right shoulder injury which left me in chronic pain and RSD/CRPS (nerve damage where the nerves in my arm tell my brain i'm in pain all the time). How can i work my abs without aggravating my shoulder? Sit ups are excruciating on my shoulder as i can't lift it more than shoulder level?
Also, how can you eat healthy on a shoestring budget?

I had gastric bypass 3 years ago and although i've lost 110lbs none of it has been due to working out. What suggestions do you have to get me motivated? I know i'll lose more if I excersise but I just hate it.

On the show, the contestants lose so much weight when in real life, it is only recommended to lose 2-3lbs a week. Is it safe or not for the average person to try and lose so much weight in such a short period of time?

I'm not much of a cook and I'm usually in a rush anyway, so often I just heat up a lean pocket or a lean cuisine. I'm sure all the sodium isn't good for me though... what is your opinion on microwavable diet foods?

I am working out 4 times a week: 45 min cardio, 45 min wieght training. I limit myself to 1350 calories a day, but only lose 1-2 pounds a week. How can I put up the big numbers like the contestants?

Hi, Im 25 and weigh 330lbs. I work about 45 hrs a week. My problem is i had ankle surgery last September. I have arthritis in it already because they found the problem so late. I work on concrete floors so when i get off work im hurting so bad and my ankle is so swollen its hard to exercise. what isthe best way to go to make sure i do my exercise. I really need to do something. My mom died four years ago with a heart attack and she was overweight and she was only 44. Hi Jillian, I'm thrilled you are back. I knew you were the best before and it still bears up. I have a bad heart to say the least..only 17% left functioning with an ejection fraction in the low twenties. I only had one attack, and the only hope I have is a future transplant. The longer I can keep what I have going the better for me. I'm also having to fight diabetes. Got any suggestions to keep me around until I get to meet you. I just can't get enough of your smile and SUCCESS!!

Hey Jillian-You are one tough trainer on the black team and you push them so hard which only makes them stronger. I need to know if you have any motivation to get to the gym after being at work all day leaving at 6am and getting home at 5pm just makes it so once I am home I don't get there. I lost my motivation, well it's borderline... I talk myself into sleeping in instead of getting up a bit earlier to fit in a walk or jog (it's the only time i have available) i'm only 20 pounds above my weight, it was 15, three months ago it was only 10.... i don't want to see it keep going up. I think something should be done for those of us that have the last 30lbs. or so to lose. We don't qualify for the biggest loser but that "last little bit" is the hardest to lose. I've been dieting since I was in 6th grade. I've all but given up on getting the perfect body "your body"! What can I do??? My mind has beat my body and I feel I'll be fat for the rest of my life. Jillian. My dad is one of your biggest fans when it comes to the show. I'm just wondering, he's lost about 80lbs already, normally he's quit his working out and diet by now but hasn't this time. He is border line diabetic and eating more healthy and working out everyday. Is there anything special you can suggest for him? Any tips for how to lose the last bit of weight? I've lost about 85 pounds and am finally close to a healthy BMI, but I can't seem to lose the last 15 pounds, even with 6 days a week of weight training and cardio.

SHe has gone on diability due to a recent diagnosis with her heart, and was also recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. She goes to the pool and works out regularly...walking and doing different pool activities..what advice can you give her.

Hey all!! I have a trainer and am doing well with exercise, but I am having a lot of trouble eating right. I crave junk food really bad, and I give in a lot. I'm tired of struggling with this...can someone help? First of all let me say what an inspiration jillian is and how i look up to her so much!! With that said, i am 5'10 and before i had my daughter i weighed about 150-155 and i was comfortable. Now, i weigh 182 and my daughter is almost 5. I want so badly to lose 30 pounds but i get discouraged very easily. I have had alot of people in my life put me down and i am trying to be a stronger person and do this for my self and i would love your advice.
