Hello. This is for the guy who asked about what to do about SHIN SPLINTS. Ive played soccer for 15+ yrs. Shin splints are nothing new to this sport. All my team members who suffered had to stretch the shins. (have someone help you) Lie on your back. Lift one leg up (at a time) get as close to a 90* degree angle as possible and stretch out with your toe pointed in the air. (have your partner help by holding your foot). Point your toe out and slowly rotate around. Repeat a couple of times. repeat with the other leg. I know this wont cure it but it might help minimize the pain.
Re: Shin splints. 20+ years as a bodyworker; here's my take. Shoes, yes. Soaking up to knees in cold water, not iced, 10 mins. in/10 mins. out 3x after every training session. Get professional help; a licensed massage therapist or PT. Don't ignore the pain!
What level can a healthy 28 year old pregnant woman (with a healthy pregnancy) participate along with your program???
