Jillian: It's been a BLAST and Bob and I are so flattered that so many people joined us for this live blog. Please keep tuning in for the show and we'll see you next season!
Bob: I concur! Thanks everyone!

Jillian: I was a fat kid my whole life. My mother got me into martial arts and through that I got healthy and I re-defined my self-image. It taught me to achieve goals personally and professionally. Through that experience, I became passionate about helping people re-build their lives through health and fitness.
April 08, 10:27 PM
Jillian: I like to be in a gym. I need a controlled environment. I need climate control, I need my equipment. It's like a toolbox...I need my stuff. I am a control freak, and I cannot control the outdoors. Get me in a gym!

Jillian: If you are not vegan, go with egg whites, fish, and whey protein. If you are vegan, you have to go with tofu, soy, legumes and be extremely mindful of calories. You MUST take a multi-vitamin especially if you are a vegan. You have to give your body the nutrients it needs.

Bob: Oh, I love this question. Just because you lost the weight doesn't mean you can go back to old behaviors. Hopefully you've lost new patterns by losing the weight. DO NOT circle back to your old patterns or you will gain the weight back.
Jillian: it's obviously an on-going process. You have to deal with the emotional issues as to why you are overweight. So when you lose weight and then fall onto emotionally trying times, you can use your new resources to handle it positively so you don't gain the weight back.
April 08, 10:23 PM
Bob: My favorie part of the show is being able to be part of the journey with each contestant. To see how their lives change right before your eyes.
Jillian: I have to agree. Seeing them overcome these inner-demons. Not just physical, but also the emotional battles they face down.
April 08, 10:23 PM
Jillian: Brittany has a hormone condition, and there's no real way to treat it on campus so we had to send her to an endocrinologist. When your hormones are out of whack, your whole metabolism is out of whack. It took me awhile to get to the bottom of it, but I finally did it. It's a testosterone imbalance in women that makes them gain weight, and when I finally pieced it together it was a little too late in the game. But now we're able to deal with it professionally with a top doctor at UCLA and she's going to be good.
April 08, 10:21 PM
Bob: Getting started in yoga is easy. Just join a class. See if it works for you. Each class has different levels. Test your body out and see what class is right for you. Yoga is the Foutain of Youth. Remember...I am actually 87-years-old!
April 08, 10:20 PM
Bob: We did watch the weigh-ins for part of the 2nd season too. But I find the weigh-ins so stressful! Jillian wanted to leave one time and I was like PLEASE STAY.
Jillian: I know...I couldn't take it! I had to leave!
Bob: I can handle it way better than Jillian.
Jillian: It's just so stressful...the things that go on that you don't see, we need some deleted scenes maybe...trust me, it's just really stressful.
April 08, 10:19 PM
Bob: I think Mark has changed the most this season, emotionally. There is a reason why he cries all the time. It was a dam and together we broke it down. He's lived with walls all his life and they crashed down while on the show.
Jillian: Yeah, Mark was definitely the one who changed the most.
April 08, 10:18 PM
Jillian: PEANUT BUTTER CUPS!!!
Bob: HAHAHA exactly! Paul Newman peanut butter cups!
Jillian: Yeah, I use that "but they're organic!" excuse on those peanut butter cups as if that makes them less fattening. Ha! But yes...Chocolate! Sugar! Tequila!
Bob: But ok, actually...pizza. I'd like to get a healthy pizza, I suppose.
April 08, 10:17 PM
Jillian: It was exhausting working with couples.
Bob: They brought in their enablers. It was rough. We like working with people one on one and this posed a tougher challenge.
Jillian: They are comfortable because they have their family member or friend there. We want them out of that comfort zone. It makes it that much more difficult to open up.
April 08, 10:16 PM
Jillian: No...I haven't heard any scoops for next season.
Bob: It's "Families" isn't it, Jillian?
Jillian: Is it? I didn't hear...
Bob: Well we heard a rumor that it's Biggest Loser Families but who knows? We can't confirm anything.
April 08, 10:15 PM
Bob: Of course we still stay in touch with past contestants. We are their touchstones. Erik was somebody I really loved in season three. He really touched my life and was such an inspiration for so many.
Jillian: Absolutely. Brittany from this season and Julie from Season Four were two that really stand out for me. I love keeping in touch with contestants from the past.
April 08, 10:14 PM
Bob: We both LOVE hip hop. But Jillian then likes to throw in some crazy alternative rock, which freaks me out.
Jillian: Hmmm...It's hard to pick ONE song. Bands...The Roots, Method Man...it's true, also some alternative rock too.
April 08, 10:12 PM
Jillian: There's more to it than just Bob. I was upset that we were forced to compete, again. So, it wasn't Bob's complete fault that those teams got chosen the way they did.
Bob: Remember, we work in TV. I originally wanted to pick the people who picked me in the beginning. Let's get that out there.
April 08, 10:11 PM
Bob: Jillian was NOT happy at all!!
Jillian: I wasn't happy. At all.
Bob: Actually, she's right! It's not fair for America to vote on something like this. They're not IN IT like we are in it day to day. But I knew I had to deal with it, so I did.
Jillian: I wanted a girl who had a shot to win to really have that shot. Roger had so much weight to lose, so it was that much harder to beat him. Ali can't get to 50% of her body weight healthily! I was upset about that aspect.
Bob: My response to the whole thing is, "Hey...I work at a reality show. I take everything in stride."
Jillian: He takes everything in stride. You can't have 2 loose canons running around.
Bob: She is the thunder to my lightening!
April 08, 10:09 PM
Jillian: I don't know if there will be a Biggest Loser: Canada. It's a good idea, though.
Bob: We have no control over that part of the show.
April 08, 10:09 PM
Bob: I don't think I could ever do a challenge that involved snakes. They scare me too much.
Jillian: There's nothing in a challenge that I wouldn't do. Only because Bob would make me do it. Sharks are a fear. I would still swim with them, but it's a fear.
April 08, 10:08 PM
Jillian: She REALLY ate the oyster...as if I would let it end up in the trash!! I would NEVER tolerate that!!
April 08, 10:07 PM
Jillian: Bob is the toughest!
Bob: I guess I am pretty tough.
Jillian: It's BOB! I have trained with him. He's crazy! He is a lunatic.
Bob: But after I work her out, she feels very accomplished. I love seeing her doubled over a treadmill.
April 08, 10:06 PM
Bob: My tattoos, as much as everyone wants th em to have significance, are purely artistic.
Jillian: I have a guardian angel on my ankle, which is my mom's mom from the 1930s.
Bob: I didn't know that!
Jillian: Yep! It's true!
Bob: I also have the virgin Mary tattooed on my arm with Jillian's face as her face.
Jillian: Ha...very funny, Bob!
April 08, 10:05 PM
Bob: When it comes to Jillian and the contestants she trains, nothing surprises me. When I saw how much those girls lost, my jaw dropped to the floor.
Jillian: We were both very surprised. I was so proud of those girls in tonight's episode.
April 08, 09:54 PM
Jillian: God...Bob?
Bob: I guess the most shocking moment, it would have to be the call-in. That was most shocking thing for all of us. American voting...that one!
Jillian: I agree...that was shocking!
Bob: But also, suddenly we all got to go to Australia...that was a big surprise for us and the contestants!
Jillian: Oh yeah...totally agree!
April 08, 09:43 PM
Jillian: Thanks so much for posting questions. We appreciate all of your support throughout the years. We couldn't have done it without you guys.
Bob: Hey guys. It's Bob here. So happy to get this blog started. Not to mention, I am so happy about the upcoming Finale that I hope you guys tune in for.
