Whabbear, with regard to my having quoted the
words of Martin Luther King, you are very welcome.
I keep these words of his on my kitchen cupboard door:
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
It is quite easy to come up with any number of examples
that prove the truth of those words. Am I saying that
right?
Actually, though, dear Whabby, I have to tell you that
those particular words of MLK were the only words of
his that I included in my post. I happened to hear them,
or read them, a long time ago, and they just struck a
chord. So, I jotted them down, to refer to, whenever.
All the rest of the post was absolutely of my own thought
and creation. That is just how I think and consider and
write, Whab. Gosh, I am so glad you liked it. :)
I truly hope that that post will be read by many, so that,
perhaps, some unaware individuals may be inspired to
begin to become thinking individuals. What a gift to the
Universe that would be. When one learns something of
value, one can pass it along, positively affecting the lives
of others, and, therefore, the Universe, as well as
themselves. We can can certainly use more thinkers, in
this world. Do you know the book, THE THINKER'S WAY,
by John Chaffee, Ph. D.,Whabbear? An excellent book,
and one which is the basis for a college course. It is one
of those books that I think should be required reading.
Both of my copies are all marked up and highlighted. :)
Ross, dear, I was very glad to see your dear little face,
in your Talky Blog, today. But, I was sorry you were
doing that, instead of sleeping. We worry about you,
you know. We who love you. And, I know that all of
us were so glad to see your dear Wee Wee, too. We/I
would like to see a lot more of her, with the two of
you just sweetly, lovingly snuggling together. It does
my heart good, to see that, and to hear you speaking
tenderly to her dear little self. I am glad that you had
a happy experience, last evening (?), when you were
able to use your All-Access Pass. Wow. Neat. Fun.
You're such a cutie pie, Ross. You take good care, now,
love. We don't want you getting any worse, certainly.
XOXOXOXOXO
Happy Weekend, Blog Buddies. You all take care, too.
Maybe a few wonderful old movies, for some of us.
I have "The Apartment" on, right now, and I will likely
be watching "Grumpy Old Men", again, later. Good for
what ails you.
Namaste. Li'l Red
