Ryan, I loved the Twilight books so I hope you're enjoying them! Ross, I think you might actually like them. They are not the typical crazy gothy vampire books...they're really good as long as you can get passed the teenage-ness of them. Do what I did and see the movie first and then read the books...I loved the movie and then loved the books, but most people loved the books and then hated the movie when they saw it. Why let one thing ruin the other?

I celebrated Single's Awareness Day...slept in, watched TV, and then hit the bars with my a few of my best friends. It was amazing!

Ross, I miss Louise =( you should do a little talky from home soon so we can see how she's doing =)

I come on here once in a blue moon but I have to say I am not one for change and I miss Daria and you sitting in your office with her. It's just not the same. Not sure I'm ready for the changes heading your way. I always adjust to change it just takes me a little while :-).

On February 14, Valentines day, was our local city's Mardi Gras parade. (One of many until Fat Tuesday 2-24-09.
Unfortunately I was down with some wretched cold/flu like crud and sneeeeeeeezing.
Although, I did go out to my screened porch to peek a couple of times at the parade as some of the floats went by. It was cold, windy and drizzly. I think they mentioned CUPID that does cupid shuffle was supposed to be on one of the floats but I don't know if he came. Although my roommate caught some heart shaped beads for me yay!

Ross... We have so much funny stuff in common, aside from both being 29. So I am CONSTANTLY telling my boyfriend, parents, friends, whoever will listen when I am wearing my "grown up" pants, "grown up" clothes, or purses. I for sure am at this age where I'm like not shopping in Juniors section...well as much.. and I am wearing more neutrals. My pants are not as low rise as they used to be, etc. It is funny, huh? We get so proud of growing up a little bit :) That is a very grown up man bag, I'm lovin it Ross!

So OH MY GOD, I totally didn't know there was a new Wally Lamb book! Best news of the day! My faves are She's Come Undone and I Know This Much Is True. I then read the first book with the women in prison... But have not read the last two. I have been reading the Chelsea Handler books and some other stuff and used to follow Wally Lamb closely since I LOVED his books but it is usually years in between so apparently I lost track and now I am more than ecstatic to pick up the 2 that I have not read! AWESOME! He is the best author, I love the sarcasm of his characters. Funny. And I know this much is true was probably my favorite book in the whole world. SO THANK YOU ROSS! Reading his books are like better than eating good chocolate. You just don't want the words to end!

I almost forgot...for Valentine's Day (a BIG day at our house!) I got my favorites -- tulips in a beautiful vase and we went out to dinner at our fav 4 star restaurant. It's going out of business soon (the owner/chef is 83!) so it was a special treat. We hadn't been there in a year! It was a blast and the food was to die for! *I* have the best Valentine! LOL

Consider a hydrogen molecule, blog buddies, composed of two hydrogen atoms. Hydrogen atoms have only one electron, so a hydrogen molecule has two electrons in total. Electrons have a property called spin that comes in two "flavors": up and down. When two electrons are bound together as part of the same hydrogen molecule, one of them has to be spinning "up", and the other "down". However, without directly observing them to determine which one is spinning up and which is spinning down, both electrons exist in an uncertain state physicists call "superposition". That is, they are both simultaneously spinning up and down.

I know. I know. That sounds crazy. But it gets worse. Suppose I directly observe one of the electrons in my hydrogen molecule and find that its spin direction is up. Because the two electrons are entangled, that would immediately convert the spin state of the other electron from "superposition" to "down". That's because the two electrons have to be spinning in opposite directions.

Now, suppose I were to split the molecule into its two atoms, and move the atoms apart by a couple of feet. If I were to directly observe the state of one electron, exactly the same thing would happen to the other one: it would immediately transition from being in a "superposition" state, where its spin is indeterminate, to spinning in the down direction.

In fact, that same transition would happen regardless of how far the two electrons were separated in space. They could be millions of light years from each other, and still, if I directly observed the spin of one, it would "lock in" the spin of the other.

That is totally spooky, blog buddies! It is as if the one electron is connected to the other by some mechanism that works faster than the speed of light... in fact, some mechanism that has no finite speed at all!

For those of you who missed Ross last night on The Tonight Show Ross was a judge along with John Melendez and Kevin from the band. There were three contestents who showed their odd talents to win dinner for four at a restaurant.
Ross looked very dashing I might add. I'm sure you can catch the episode at NBC.com or perhaps Hulu.com

Ross, you have been telling us since Feb 9th there is a big surprise. "Wait for tomorrow" Well, that was 9 tomorrow's ago. Come On tell us already!

I apologise in advance guys but I have to say this. I hope you don't think I'm being deliberately negative BUT I can't bare this anymore. I admit to watching Ross's blog out of curiosity from time to ime and Im pleased he has changed since his days at Uni. He has apologised to me in the past and I accepted it.

BUT

He's now appeared on my favourite tv show, or at least one of my favourites and I am so angry. I went to Uni with Ross and he was overweight then and much quieter than he seems now BUT he wasn't very nice at all! But his best frend at Uni was RYAN - AND HE MADE MY LIFE HELL! He used to bully me so bad and I got so depressed I had to take 3 weeks off Uni. I nearly got kicked out cos I couldn't provide evidence of me being sick cos I didn;t go to the doctors or anything, I just went back home for a few weeks to get my head sorted.

I thought I'd moved on but now Ross has appeared on my tv show it makes me so sad and angry, all the bad memories flooding back. Now I've been told that RYAN is working with Ross on it and I can't bear to watch. I don't know what to do. If I stop watching it will make me feel like they've won again. What do I do?

ok I have a question for a computer smart person, my post above at 11:51:28 is now ? club ? on my home computer---now when I posted it at work it was open club, club, open heart. Also I can't use the alt number technique at home at all, it doesn't work, at work it worked great! Is it because of the system at home I am on windows 98 ( i know a dinosaur) and at work I am on windows xp, is that the reason? Am I making any sense at all here?

February 19, 2018, we'll all still be sitting here waiting ever so patiently (or not) to find out what the incredible surprise is. I used to be excited about it but the suspense has gone on for weeks. It's lost its excitement now.

WHO CARES-Have you ever considered that it's the powers that be who are telling him he can't tell us??????? It's Not like Ross is TRYING to keep us all in suspense. Perhaps there are several people who are using the "Name" Who Cares...?!? however, this is my first time to comment. I have never come on here acting as someone else nor do I ever plan on doing so.
