I am so happy that Christmas is coming, I lost my job in November and it is nice to have something fun to look forward to. Ross is there a way you could post your TTS appearances on the blog? In Canada we can't always view the segements on the TTS website (sometimes I can sometimes I can't!) Also, I have searced you tube for the nasty job show and I can't find anything. Does anyone have a link? I don't get the E channel either!

oh, I bought my first fake tree this year. being from the PNW I've always done the real tree deal, but, they are getting so expensive and dry up so fast. makes such a mess! We got the tree up last weekend. gotta say it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Now if our new couch would arrive I'd be really happy!

There are so many tree farms up here and we pay $10-$20 to cut our own.

It's just a fun thing to do together.... freezing your butt off, putting a kleenex on every tree you think is the right one then going back to the first one you found. Watching your hubby get down on his knees in the mud and trying to lay under the tree to cut it without swearing. Then hauling it for what seems like miles away from the truck, tripping over stumps becuase I am in the back and can't see (I think that's a payback)

I have NEVER had indigestion/heartburn before-but now that I'm 6 months pregors-walla walla bing bang!

Most gentle and fast solution I've found are mint flavored rolaids. They are mild, actually don't taste bad and take care of the problem. They are made of Calcium and Magnesium. Some of the other pill type helpers made me nervous cuz I didn't know what compound they were made of. Plus, if they are safe for me, super safe for you!

but by the by...omitting the soda/pop (I used to say pop being from Denver...now a CA gal I've converted) would probably take care of the issue completely. But if you're still diggin' the stuff, indulge and enjoy!

Funniest time was when we took my car and tied the tree to the top. I was driving and he had the rope tied around the roof and through the windows. WELL! It was pouring down rain and the water ran down the rope and got me completely soaked!

Every time I see Kourosh I just melt. (Hi Kourosh!) Some while back when Ross was talking about his personal relationships (does he have them?? LOL) he said that he had someone he hoped he could have a relationship with but some things just were not meant to be (or something like that). I thought it might be Kourosh - or maybe I was projecting on myself. :) Anyway - no offense to Kourosh or Ross if I'm out of line, but I do think you are so cute together even though I don't know what branch Kourosh swings from. tee-hee.

I wanted to make a quick comment to Royal - the comment above mine. I too used to be very upset that people were not using the word Christmas. That was until I got out in the world and realized that there are a whole lot of folks out here that have very different beliefs than we do back in South Dakota. They are not wrong and we are not right. I think it is very respectful to say Happy Holidays - and also not wrong to say Merry Christmas. Its all good.

omg..this is my first comment ever. I've been a unicorn for almost two years now, but this morning I was lucky enough to stumble upon Ross's mini chat and I randomly decided to tell him how happy I was to be "talking" to him and he typed, "Hi, April" and I was so excited that I made every single one of my coworkers come over to the computer to look...lol. Whattttt, I missed a mini-chat?? During the day?? With Ross?? Too bad this computer doesn't come with an alarm that warns me of such things!

And Chef you were in chat?!? I missed that too! Aren't the chat regulars the BEST?! Have you got all your decorating done? I am almost done...it takes me awhile because I put up so many trees! All fake...much safer, but we always had a "real" one for the main one until the boys moved out (and I do treasure the memories of those tree chopping excursions). Then we ran to Costco and bought this tree that is its own version of Christmas Vacation (when Chevy Chase turns on all the lights on his house!)...pg&e sent us a thank you note! It is my only fake tree that has lights on it, love to just put it together, open it up, and plug it in! All the others require "stringing" which requires "swearing" and lots of de-tangling. I haven't indulged in Santa soaps, but of course I too decorate the bathrooms with a little tree and what nots! We will be missing our Murphy dog this year...she loved to open presents and Christmas time was her favorite!! Do your babies open gifts?

SSL...love to go look at all the lights!! We did it with our folks when we were little, then we took my mom out with our boys when they were little, and now we go with friends and it is one of the simpler ways to enjoy Christmas, isn't it?

dg, the only thing better than stirrup pants to trigger a good laugh is THE TIGHT ROLL! Try it... tight roll your pants and go into the gas station or grocery store and try really really hard to not die LAUGHING... My girl Becky and I have been saying for years... the tight roll is coming back, everyone else just hasn't caught on- LMAO! We rock that once in a while and love every minute of it. Stirrup pants... that is a funny thought, I'll have to share that with Becky. I'm sure the thought of them alone will make her laugh.

I watched Elf this past weekend and I LOVE that movie! I made an ornament yesterday and tomorrow we are getting our tree! Always an interesting time when our cat Finn thinks we brought him a great big toy from Petsmart. He tries to climb it, ruins my lights and knocks down the low ornaments. What a special time of year! For me it wouldn't be Chirstmas without an indoor cat trying to figure out why there is a tree in the house. Did you ever check out the link I put to the fluffytails website showing a few cats completely enjoying their christmas tree? If not search it and check it out. too cute!

Hi Everyone; I posted this in the wrong place - you'll understand. Anywat, here it is....

Hi BBs!! I've been doing some catch up seeing as my brain and body have been basically, the consistenty of cake batter. More on that later. I read something about a BB taking CPR training... Kudos to you!!! My 2nd daughter was born at 7 months and weighed 4 lbs (her big sister was a whopping 4.5 lbs). Before I could bring her home from the hospital, I had to take CPR training because babies don't have the breathing reflex that early. Well, it happened. On the freeway while I was driving. She stopped breathing, so I pulled to the side of the road and did emergency breathing. Thanks to the training, I didn't panic. CPR is something we don't think about until it's too late. It's never too late to learn!

Now about the cake batter I've become... Ross, I know you love Target, but I went there, selected my shopping cart and was promptly run over by a Target employee who must have been sprinting with some 20 carts in front of him. I was knocked over the top of the basket I'd selected and landed head first where I'd normally put my purchases. I DO like Target, but I wish the guys who collect the carts from the parking lot wouldn't be so enthusiastic about their jobs. I think I'll wear armor next time I go there.

chefkevin: Thanks for the congrats, but I'm not sure it's deserved. I think I'm the only person who's never been more 7.5 months pregnant and never been through labor. The first time I tried to convince the docs they couldn't do a C-Section because I skipped that class in Lamaze. No go. Both girls are doing great. The 4.5 lb girl is almost 18 and is 5'4". My 4 pounder is 16 and 5'8", although not as tall as me at 5'10".

Yeah, I've got some issues I need to take care of thanks to Target - hence my feeling like cake batter; muscle relaxers make you feel very peculiar, but I've been through worse.

Whabbear: So nice to know others share my passion for science. In a way, you and your husband (and all gays) are persecuted much the same way Copernicus and Galileo were. They voiced their opinions/observations and were punished, even though we now know they were right. One day you and all your fellow gays will be recognized as being "right" and unjustly persecuted. I, for one hope it's sooner rather than later. I see this gay marriage issue as government refusing to deal with reality, the same way the Vatican refused to deal with it. In the end, you'll be vindicated and the pioneers will be respected for sticking to their beliefs. I think you just have to stand your ground and the support from both gays and straights can't be ignored. Keep on keepin' on.

Bam Bam fell in love with a pug named Katelyn... it was pretty cute. He met her at the vet yesterday. She was chubby and so cute! LOL ;) I guess he likes his b1tches thick. Funny dogs. I just love Boosky (bam) so much!

But don't worry Bam Bam is fine, he only needed his nails trimmed. He is 20.6 lbs. So he is a big boy at 2 1/2 years old. Full grown I think??? He just had a little growth spurt a few months ago but seems to be the same now for a while.

Just re-reading some comments about dogs.... I have 2 chihuahuas. Ernie is 8; I adopted him before chihuahuas became status symbols - I just thought he was cute. He really likes to eat and well, to be blunt, he's fat. I also have Sadie who is 3. She's more interested in chasing squirrels up trees than eating and it shows because she doesn't quite weigh 5 pounds.

Like any normal dog lover, I take mine on a nice walk twice a day... Meaning we get in the car, drive somewhere, then either walk around a park or home from wherever I leave my car (which I later walk to drive back home).

People on our various routes have gotten to know the pooches and they've all nicknamed them. Ernie (the eater) is Burrito and Sadie (the squirrel hunter) is Taquito.

What a babe Karush(sp) is...Hey Ross, did you feel the earthquake Friday night about 8:15 p.m. Centered not to far from me....GAWD it scared my lil dog Brewskee and he ran and jumped in my lap. That's the first time he's ever gotten scared like that from an earthquake. It scared the crap out of me too. A picture and frame fell from my entertainment center too. Oh well I was just wondering if it scared you and Louise. You were probably on stage at that time and didn't feel a thing. Have a good weekend. I hope we get to see footage of your Grease stardom!!

She seemed a little nervous/flustered...How cool for you Ross, that she loves you!?!?...I hope HL's movie does well tonight, however I'll be watching football...GO SOONERS!!

Now I've got an open question...the people on the "Jaywalking" segments...are they for real? I mean are they really not that smart or do y'all think TTS people tell them to "dumb" it up some? I LMAO during that segment!
