A pretzel is a twisty turny bendy thingy that is dark brown with salt on it and is good when you dunk it in melted cheese or cream cheese or if you go to Auntie Anne's Pretzel Shop at the mall you can get these soft pretzel sticks that are covered in cinnamon and sugar and are just to die for...do you think the dude would've fallen asleep after that description? Hahaha

I live in my 37 yr old body that wishes for its 27 yr old body (that at the time wished for its 17 yr old body). But the 37 yr old body is the only one who did 3 miles today along the river...

I think Nikki should do whatever makes her happy - as long as they don't suck her personality and spirit out with the fat (if there is any fat...) I love watching her with you, Ross.

Oh my gosh, that was a fun talky!

Nikki, I say go for it! The rest of us don't know the pressure of living in LA and working on TV. And it's not surgery, so hey, do it if you want, but then TELL US ALL ABOUT IT!! :)

The non-surgical thing I want to try is a laser treatment for sun spots and minor wrinkles. I want to get my forehead done. I think it'll be great! (just hope I don't end up with Nicole Kidman's forehead!)

Oh, and I'm also about to get Invisalign, the non-braces braces. I figure, why not make minor improvements? My 20-year high school reunion will be next year, and I doubt I'm going to lose the 25 pounds I've gained since then, so at least I can have straight teeth and smooth skin!

Okay...so, I have a friend that got the fat sucked out of her belly...the fat has moved to her butt and hips!

Ross I've thought about it (see previous post). I think I am going to err on the side of BDD. I'm sure this is one of those "LA" things that people in the real world, I mean, people in the "non-LA living free world" just don't understand. I'm OK with that. It's kinda like when someone that is a size 2 says they are fat. It's just ridiculous to even comment about!! LOL
Now the pretzel thing...I would have to draw a picture with "Rold Gold" on top of it. If he still looked at me like "I half nofa king idea" I would have left b/c nobody that clueless about America's favorite snack should be operating a convenient store - for reals

There are way too many risks I think to do anything you don't need to. You should just be grateful surgery is voluntary. I don't want Nikki to regret doing it and be worse off then before! Doctors do procedures like this one all the time for extra money that they went to a class on the weekend to learn but they aren't a specialist on the subject.

Can you tell I watch 20/20 and Dateline? lol! But I have seen before and after pictures for plastic surgery and some are horrid. But Nikki is an adult and can do whatever the heck she wants with her bodacious bod :)

Fat moves?? Scary thought, perhaps Nikki should reconsider.

Oh, Nikki, chiropractic is a method of adjusting bones and joints to relieve pain.

On top of that, no one in the medical field should bring up a cosmetic procedure, unless the patient asks for it. Anything else is preying on someone.

I totally get wanting to look your best. I've done my share of stuff, so it's not as if I'm opposed to cosmetic procedures. I'm strongly opposed to what your chiropractor did. He's looking for $$$.

If you really want to do something, go to the appropriate doc. Anyone can have a laser, for example, but that doesn't mean they're proficient in using it.

Still, as always, a funny and entertaining talky.

As for sugar free mentos at Target...oh yes, I went in pursuit, none at my little half a Target, so I tried Rite-Aid, none there, BUT they had cinnamon mentos...I told myself "They are not sugar free, Ross wouldn't get them, STEP AWAY FROM THE MENTOS", but self didn't listen and ate them all the way home!

Seriously...the money spent on quick fixes just isn't worth it...and it doesn't work long term!! And a chiropractor recommended this procedure...WTF!!! I work for one and I doubt he'd suggest anything of the sort! :0

Howdy and Good Afternoon Ross and BB!

Finally got a chance to watch the talky...I had lipo twice back in '95 and I'm thinking the fat sucking that Nikki is talking about isn't an actual invasive surgery, especially since her chiropractor is doing it...I've seen what I think she's talking about on the Today Show and The View, the device sucks your skin and smoothes the ripply appearance. As far as lipo, the fat doesn't technically move to other parts of your body....if you don't stay active, when you gain weight, it will come in in other places, not the places you got "sucked". I was very happy with and looked good for years, then I did hurt my back and put on weight it came in in my middle...so I'm kind of Humpty Dumpty right now...LOL...but I don't worry about it, because we're joining a health club and I know I'll be able to get back in less of an egg shape or should I say "crack my shell"....anyway it's not for everyone, but I'm not against it. Hope that helps anyone.

dg: thanks for asking about the tomato pie...it was a Paula Deen recipe from foodnetwork.com...turned out great! I added some stir-fried onions to the bottom, threw in extra tomatoes and used white extra sharp cheddar...I was really lucky to have some really sweet tomatoes which made for a wonderful savory pie:)
