Hello again, blog buddies!

Earlier today I put out a call for your questions and you delivered (see below)! In fact, Captain Answer got SO many questions, I had to turn today's TALKY into 2 parts!

"In the Spring ‘06, I accepted a TV assignment for Discovery Channel’s “Storm Chasers” to document a brave group of scientists and storm chasers who study and follow severe weather throughout “Tornado Alley.” For eight weeks, we traveled in a caravan throughout parts of the (red) United States I had never before seen (and didn’t plan on seeing in my lifetime).

Several weeks into tornado season, our entire crew, which was comprised of storm chasers, scientists, and TV nerds, docked in Salina, Kansas to asses the weather and wait for the next big storm to start. To pass time, we played cards in the hotel parking lot and used spray bottles to keep cool from the soaring 100 degree temperatures. Nothing like an asphalt heat wave to keep you from doing what you’re supposed to be doing... "

My question would have been...
Ross, how often do you exercise/workout/go to the gym, besides walking Louise?
You seem to stay fit by watching your diet, but when you were losing your weight, did you have to workout hard?
Seems like it is easy for you to maintain without hiking to the gym every day...

I knew, knew, knew you would be going to the Big Brother Wrap party. Don't forget, many HG's are in the LA area, and they would probably LOVE to do a Talky. Many are still milking their 15 mins (that is NOT a slam, I luv 'em), so, you should ask around tonight.

I hope we get a close up of the beautiful paint colors you chose in your new house! We have an open floor plan 2 and I appreciate seeing how each person decorates! The light was shining in on our "mini tour" so the colors were washed out. Do show us again! And don't u love living in a "fancy persons house!" It's taken us a long time to adjust, but it's so nice to allow the beautiful things in.

First, allow this unicorn to state: This whole sign-in process thingee is a BITCH! At first, I thought I had to create a login at MyNBC, so I did, & then finally spotted the link imbedded in the words "Sign In". Oy!

Now, as to why I wanted to comment:

If you like Pier One but, like me, aren't really crazy for wicker & rattan (Pier 1's emphasis, it seems), may I recommend Cost Plus ... and they're cheaper than Pier 1, too!

Captain Answer has saved the day! I have now moved from Lurker/Unicorn status and joined the Comment Section! Thanks Captain Answer for showing me the way!!!

Ross! I LOVE Vynl!! I eat there all the time!! Which bathroom is your favorite? Mine is either Cher or Dolly.

Hey there Ross and blog buddies. I am trying to leave a comment again. Hoping it will post. I LOVE the blog and watch it whenever I can (not daily, because I work on a PC all day at work and some nights when I get home I just can't stand the idea of logging on to another computer). But I always "catch up" on the weekends, if I have missed any. Anyway, the last couple of time I tried to post, I got a message that I was blocked.....not sure how or why. But trying again. I just returned home from attending a rally for Barack Obama.. Caroline Kennedy introduced Michelle Obama and Michelle spoke for an hour!!! Last week Barack was here and I got to hear him... in less than a week I got to hear our next President and First Lady speak in person!!!! Our Primary is next Tuesday here in IN.

BCDmom - I too like Brooke and expect to see her in the future - I don't really want to see her in "country". I think what she'd be good as a kind of Carly Simon / Carol King type of artist. Funny thing about my cats, I never thought I could have cat & dogs together, but all mine get along. Cats think they are dogs & visa/versa, one BIG happy family. Thanks to you as well & all the other BB's who take in the furbabies who need homes.
Fruitgrrl don't have any suggestions on the rug, but I saw you & your puppy on YouTube...wow, what a good job you did with the clicker training, Flying Nun is super cute & SMART! One of my cats "Dusty" ~ (who BTW has six toes on each paw) says prayers as well. TOO CUTE! Will put a pic up of him soon doing so. Gonna go watch more of your videos.....☺

I went to a lot of new schools
as a child, sometimes, in the middle of the year.

The most uncomfortable feeling in the world for me;was standing in front of the class - being introduced.

Then trying to fit in with people who already have relationships.

So, that's what a chat room feels like to me.

Sigh of relief! I feel, so much, better - after sharing that tidbit.
