*******Happy Wednesday Ross and Blog Buddies*******
Ross, how fun to be in Vegas! I think I caught a glimpse of where you are staying in your morning video, but I won't tell!!!
The Ross blog Awards are so much fun! Don't know how many will agree with MY choices, but its fun anyway.
Have a blast, and I can't wait to see the segment.
Oh, just a thought. You mention alot about your "pores" etc.
Dear Ross, do you get facials? Honey, they are NOT for just women! But, maybe then again you do get them, if so ignore this comment!
Seriously though, you should consider getting regular facials and also mani-pedis. They are an essential ingredient to a happy life!!!
Just my motherly advice to you! Oh, use the Spa at your Hotel, you will love it!
***************Personal Post****************
Well, yesterday my friend Just_Lin posted a little bit about my Laurie Elizabeth, and the situation involving her heart surgery that will be coming up shortly.
Thank you dear Just_Lin, for helping me out!
I don't want to take up alot of room for my personal issues, but many of you have posted such love, concern and support for both Laurie and myself, I want to thank you all and give a bit more info regarding her condition.
Laurie has a congenital heart defect called Tetrology of fallot, which was surgically corrected when she was 4 yrs old. Now that she is 28, that surgery needs to be re-evaluated and more surgery is required.
She has multiple issues to deal with. Pulmonary arteries will need replacing, she has a total AV heart block, and her right and left ventricles are not beating simultaneously as they should, they are actually beating on different syncs, and that is NOT good. She also has leakages of the pulmonary arteries, which means non-oxygenated blood is seeping into her heart, and lungs.
She will also need a pacemaker inserted, which is actually the least part of the surgery I am worried about.
Laurie is overweight for her height. The cardio doc, though, says her chance of losing weight is almost impossible, due to the fact that her heart is overworking itself just to keep her alive.
So, even though we have cut out the salt, been on a low-fat, portion controlled diet, she will have a difficult time at surgery.
This is her case in a large nutshell!
Yes, it has been a very tough January for us, but I have lots of Faith, and so many friends here on the RossBlog, and on the Night Owl blog, that I feel so blessed to have.
Thank you all so much for everything!
Peace and Love to All, DonnaJean and Laurie Elizabeth
