Good Morning Blog Buddies!
Good Morning Ross!
I loved your talky blog yesterday. I feel the same exact way whenever I see someone think they are "too big for their britches" to pick up after themselves, and expect others to do it for them. Yes, you "willed" him to put that trash into the basket, and yes, I was also yelling into the computer (as if you actually COULD hear me, "Vending machine, dear, vending machine"! I know we here at Rossland are good, but we are not that good that you can "hear" us through cyberspace!!!!!
Also, I hope you and Daria have lots of fun at your dinner and "break a leg!" Enjoy your time with Mom and family too!
I've been MIA the last few days, due to my Laurie being very ill. Thank goodness it wasn't anything more serious than a VERY bad case of stomach flu. I was quite worried, as Laurie really doesn't get sick that often, and when she does, she means business.
Thank you so much to SacBarb, KFC and ZonaBaby for the get well wishes for her. It really meant alot. XOXO
She is now back to her normal, cranky (but lovable) self, and off to Bowling today!!!
Today I am going for my first Mamogram in 10 years! Yes, I have been a very bad girl, very negligent. I don't know why I've put it off each year. It really is not that bad a procedure. Just an inconvenience I guess. But, this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and with all the articles on TV lately, I bit the bullet and made my appointment!
It is also Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and I know I must take care of myself first, so I will be around for my Laurie, and also my other two daughters and three grandchildren. I want to watch them grow up, graduate, become whatever they want, get married, have my great-grandchildren!!!
So, Zonababy, how about it? I think you are the one not getting yours either. Am I right??? My appointment is in 2 hours, and I will be back on the blog around 1:00 PST and will let you know how it went. Our health is too important to ourselves and the ones we love to keep procrastinating. (wasn't THAT a TOTD a few weeks ago???)
And a huge WELCOME to all the new bloggers!
Iteach, I know the feelings of a broken heart. Take extra care of yourself right now. I think you already started by going to your cosmetologist. Now go get a mani-pedi, and a relaxing massage, a nice glass of wine, and a few Dove chocolates. You deserve it!!!
Tink- so glad to hear Mom is doing better. Hugs to you and her too!!!
Peace and love to all,
DonnaJean getting squished today!!!!!
