Happy Thursday, blog buddies!

Wow oh wow oh wow, it's a scorcher here in Southern California! Seriously - after I got ready this morning, I walked Louise and had to come home and change clothes because I was so sweaty and ucky and gross.

I'm am NOT a heat kinda guy.

Thank GOD for air conditioning. But, truth be told, I'm not an air conditioning kinda guy, either. My sinuses get all dry and ucky if I spend too much time in air conditioned rooms, plus I'm constantly feeling guilty and certain that Al Gore himself is going to knock on my door and beat me up.

Oh well, though!

On another note...

I spent today's TALKY BLOG opening a few more of the amazingly ugly and tacky presents some of YOU sent in. How fun!

Oh - and there's also a cameo by Tonight Show announcer and my co-host of The John & Ross Show, John Melendez. But why did I title today's TALKY BLOG "Squeaky"? You'll see... :)

In other news...

I spent last night at my friend and fellow blogger ANT's house with his friend (and my new friend) Sam Harris. We had SO much fun!

Then I came home and watched some more episodes of House Hunters. I'm freakishly into that show - I never ever grow tired of it!

Tonight I'm gonna watch Big Brother and do laundry. It's not exactly what anyone would call exciting, but I am so looking forward to it, it's not even funny. Sometimes boring nights in are exactly what the doctor ordered.

Oh... and, um... I know I told you in yesterday's TALKY BLOG that I had big news that I could share with you either today or tomorrow. Well... umm... the "powers that be" informed me that I'm actually not allowed to tell you until September 5th. So... I'm sorry.

But it'll be worth the wait, I swear! :)

I'm coming to Burbank tomorrow night. It's cooling off here (93 is a cold front), and we have rain expected for the next several days.

Another Great one today Ross! I love the dog crappying yard ornament. It reminds me of some of the trailer parks in Mississippi.. where the resident has put a wooden cow out in the front yard... and it's tail has a water hose attached... you turn the water on and the tail just flaps around in the air watering the yard... Horribly Tacky yet amusing.

This is my first post on your comment section. I read and watch your blog EVERYDAY! Guilt as charged. Anyway, the reason why I'm finally posting a comment is because you said you met Sam Harris. Did you know who he was before you met him? I remember him from "Star Search." Amazing singer and great talent. You know that Rosie knows him as well. They were on the same "Star Search" season. I've heard her mention him from time to time. She compares other singers to him. Just mention it to her the next time you are chatting with Rosie.

Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm really addicted to your blog because I find them very entertaining.

Ross you are so cute! Please tell John hello! I remember seeing him on "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" and I didn't know who he was (I don't watch or listen to Howard Stern). When I found out that was where he was from I automatically didn't like him - how rude of me, right. I was completely prejudice. By the end, I absolutely loved him. He was so kind and really the sanest of the bunch out there!! I was sooooo bummed he didn't win - and I called in over and over for him too!!

Use a humidifier for the dry nasal passages. I have that problem with the heater on in the winter. Here in Corpus Christi, TX we have had thunderstorms all day. In fact all week! When I lived out in California the Pacific waters kept it cool. Strange how the climate is changing. Last night i spent the evening at Bloss Chat. I enjoyed meeting everyone and loved listening to ScrappysMom's stories. I am from WVA so that was a hoot as we say.

Ross, it's been too hot here in Ohio, too. I can't stand the humidity!! Of course, it could be a lot, lot worse, but I'm so ready for some nice fall weather.

Enjoy your boring night! ;) I'm so frustrated - tonight's BB8 episode is being pre-empted here by a football game! I'll welcome any spoilers via my Myspace page, though...I'm anxious to see who is evicted tonight!

I am SOO a part of team Jessica! How cute was it about her and Eric last episode?! If Amber goes home tonight, I don't know what I'll do. I've grown to love the fact that she cries over something in EVERY episode. It's become a part of the show that you need in every episode, like Julie. I think next season they should have moments where Amber just comes in and talks about what's happening with the new houseguests and then starts to cry. It'll be weird if she goes home tonight. Either way, as long as Jessica stays, I'm happy. :)

Okay, I loved today's talky blog. Those ugly and tacky things were great! My two faves were the dog crapping and the frame with the duck. When you put it on your face and asked if you could staple it to your face, I laughed outloud. I LOVE when you make me laugh. It's one of the best gifts a person can give.

And I am so sorry I didn't get my ugly thing to the post office in time. You would have loved it. It is a fish cup, and the handle is the fish's tail. Yep, it's pretty tacky. I do however vow to get you a card - and I'll look for the tackiest card I can find!!

AN UPDATE FROM AREA 51 - My son had his first competition today (Junior Cart Class - Belgians) @ the Walworth County Fair. He did really well for his first time and I think he will continue to show next year. It was a beautiful day at the fair!!! A lot of sun, no humidity - luv it!!! That dog taking the dump is EXACTLY what I need. My neighbors dog keeps coming over here and doing his crappy business on MY LAWN and she never comes and shovels it outta there. It's not like he's a little dog. He's a friggen german shepard! They have HUGE dumps!!

Oh and whenever you do the squeaky thing....my 90 lb standard poodle who thinks he's a lap dog, jumps up and starts running around looking for his squeaker toy. I think he thinks someone took it and is playing with it.

Ronnie, I thought it came on at 9:00. I was working on Photoshop waiting for the time. I was on the blog when Renee gave away the secret. I felt so sorry for her because she didn't realize the consequences of that action. (If I could have deleted it for you I would have Renee. ) Anyway when I went on the blog again someone said it started at 8:00 (silly me) so I saw ten minutes of it. Nikki is the daughter of John and Jack. They had a donor womb and donor egg.

Phyllis (has fake boobies) hates Nikki because she is in love with her next door neighbors sister's daughter's son. And he likes Nikki.

And Jeanne Cooper's face lift fell and she is having another one, so now her nose will be on her forehead and her eyes will be in her hairline. Of course, her ears will be behind her head, so she will be able to hear when everyone talks about her behind her back.

MEK: You ARE in bed, right? I hope your AC is working. Huz just bought a new car with a digital readout of the outside temperature. OK, science geek/nerd that I am, I was taking note of temperature variations all the way from Mountain View to Palm Springs.

The most fun was monitoring over the grapevine; you go from virtually sea level in the central valley to 4100 feet at the top of the pass. Well, I knew that temperatures are supposed to drop about 3 degrees for every 1000 feet. So, I predicted to Huz that we would go from 90 degrees to about 77 at the summit.

And we did! The temp dropped to 76.

Then, heading on into Palm Springs, it spiked back up to 93, and it was 99 inside our condo. Yikes!

Sleep: You need less sleep. About half an hour's worth.

Good Morning blog Buddies, (cross post, hope ya don't mind)Hey, On another note. So yesterday I was sitting here goofing around on the computor.
I hear this weird noise, the doggies start getting all excited.
The noise didn't actually sound like an airplane (they fly over quite a bit, and I enjoy them), nor a helicopter. (get those too) It sounded more like the noise you hear from those pin wheel, whirly things. So, I go out to see what all the fussing from the doggies is about. I look up and I swear I just said OMG. It was the Good Year blimp. Now, Iv'e seen this thing before. But I tell ya it was JUST BARELY above the trees in my back yard. I felt like I could reach up and touch it. It was moving sooooo slow, almost stopping, hovering, like a space ship would if you were watching a sci fi flick. It was sooooo funny to see the doggies watching this and running around. Then it slowly moves towards my front yard which has a large Tulip tree in front. So I look just beyond that, and it looks like the darn thing is gonna land right there on my little street. No more whirling noise, no movement, NOTHING!!!! So eerily quiet. I think I actually saw the pilots' face. Like I said, I've seen this thing before, It's always flying over the Notre Dame Stadium during the games. I live very close to it. But this time it was flying soooooooo low, and hovering for sooooooo long it was just too kewl. I know he had just lifted off from the stadium, but GEEEEEZZZZ it seemed like it was taking FOREVER to get some
momentum. Just BARELY clearing the trees. Just to KEWL. Anyway that's my story for the day (I think). Just felt like sharing. The blimp just fascinates me. Doesn't take much, I know.

I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. Heard the whirling and walked out into my backyard and I swear the blimp was right over us, I have never seen it so low. So, I can relate to your experience, surreal, like is that blimp really right there? Since then we get them now and again, but never that low.

Tam - fraid you are barking up the wrong tree. I do pick up all my four legged doggie poopie along with that left behind by others in the park (I especially love the dirty baby diapers.) We are always on a major campaign at the doggie parks to make folks pick up after their dogs. The tacky poopie sign was just something new that all the dogs had to leave their "wee-wee" editorials on.

They were my favorite in High School I have these three unicorns with a stand the unicorns have like a needle and that needle stands on the stand and they like dance in circles. I've had it since high school. Want to put it away seeing its so old but I just cant it was my grandfathers favorite thing and he has passed away and they just remind me of him every time I go to clean them or look at them I think of my Jaja(were polish).

I just love Drew Lachey. Just thought you would of like to know that. Lets keep hoping for Ross to be on DWTS one season. I think he'd be great. Ross i live in up near Sacramento it is blazing hot here too, we had a lighting storm Weds night and it is so humid, horrible- but our winters are freezing, I love the winter, you can cozy up by the fireplace its great, and wear scarves around your neck its great- so much fun!and i love the snow going up to the mountains so pretty. i am looking forward to the holidays and the cold weather, i hate the heat, not a summer person here give me winter, i know you guys some of you like the heat, and thats great. but not for me, Tanika hows are you and any updates on Stephanie, i have not been on blog few days whats new!
