The Ross Blog

Saturday: topic of the day.

July 28, 2007

Happy Saturday, blog buddies!

I totally got to sleep in a bit this morning and my lil' sinus whatnot already feels a bit better. After I swing through a pharmacy and grab a nettie pot (see yesterday's TALKY BLOG) I'm sure I'll feel even better.

Right now I'm headed out of the house to go grab my best friend Kim for a late brunch (more "unch" than "br").

Fun!

In other news...

It's the weekend and you know what that means - time for a TOPIC OF THE DAY!

While stuck in traffic yesterday I began day dreaming about a bunch of different crap. Suddenly I started thinking really ridiculous things like, "Louise is so cute. So cute, in fact, that they should make an animated movie about her. But who would play her voice? Hmm... who sounds like what I imagine Louise would sound like if she was human? Hmm... Of course! Jennifer TIlly!"

Then I started wondering who would play me if they ever made a movie about my life. I still can't come up with anyone.

But it wasn't a totally wasted hour in traffic day dreaming - I mean, I did come up with today's TOPIC OF THE DAY!

Who would star as YOU in the movie about YOUR life?

Go share your thoughts in our COMMENT SECTION! You can even cast your friends, family and even your fellow RossBloggers! And if you have any thougts on who should play me, share those, too! :)

Oh - and keep sending me your nominations for BLOGGER OF THE MONTH! Send them to rosstheintern@yahoo.com and make sure to put "BotM" in the title or your vote won't get counted!

Until tomorrow, gang!

I adore you Ross!

Honored to be so close to the top!

And I would be honored if Keri Russell would star as ME!

Melissa Gilbert

Matthew Perry could play you or a young Jerry Lewis. You're awesome!!!!!

No one could do you better than yourself, so there it is there! It would have to be you.

YOU ROCK!

Only you could play you, Ross!

Happy weekend all!

Wouldn't have a clue who would play me in my life... maybe they could bribe someone. LOL

Seein' my boy now... signing off!

Do you add anything to your Iced Coffee Americana?

for me...hmmm.....maybe sandra bullock. not based on looking like me, but the personality. as far as a voice for an animated tucker the chihuahua film it'd have to be robin williams.

For Ross, how about Jason Bateman?

Love ya Ross!!! I am stumped as to who could play you, you are definitely one in a million, hard to copy!!!
For myself, I think Julia Roberts. Have a good day.

How about Perez Hilton could play you?? What do you think?

I would cast "Jason Alexander" of Seinfeld fame as myself! LOL..Everyone agrees that I look a little like him...so..that's my choice!

Cute that you chose Jennifer Tilly as Louise!

For those asking, the blind date was okay last night..I would not say "a match made in heaven" but fun nonetheless!
He was a hot VA TECH student named Kyle! LOL:)

Off to enjoy this Saturday(mixed in with errands, cleaning..LOL)

Thanks, Glynis, for telling us who got voted off (not Kail since you wanted to see her shocked face when she was safe). Some people have the mind of a pea, I swear. Oh, & the new HOH is Dustin just so you can spread the news.

Kim Bassinger for me, I have been told I look like her. I dont particularly think so but I certainly don't mind

Totally Drew Barrymore...I love her!

What is up with all of these comments flipping in out of order?? Both of mine skipped up about 6 posts from where we had left off. ???
Hey Geek Girl -- why is this happening?

Yahee..I was Number 10! HAHA

I am trying to find the The Soup clip that featured Ross...I know The Soup repeats tonight on E at around 11pm or 11:30 pm!
We now have over 1,500 friends on the officialrossfanclub myspace page! WOOHOO!!

You asked who would star as ME in a story of my life? Rosie O'Donnell of course. She is taller than me, but we have the same personality. I am a tell it like it is person.

For me I think Drew Barrymore OR Rikki Lake.
After knowing Ross, who could be so good? Have a good weekend everybody.

Today I am feeling like Charlie Brown would be the best to play me in a movie. Ever had one of those days?

Hey Ross & BB's!
Happy Saturday. Glad you're feeling better. Enjoy the day everyone.
I have no idea who would play me in a movie ...never thought about it.
sprinkled.wordpress.com

Ross... take Louise, Paw-fect dog, go in you new back yard, which we want to see. And soak up al little sunshine, if it is to hot... take a fan and put it at the foot of your lawn chair.... Wonderful!
And U will get better......

Hello Ross and Fellow BB's-Just sitting here reading and eating the best watermelon. It's raining outside and I can just hear my flowers drinking up the water. Hydrangeas in NY, or at least mine, love, love, love water. I would cast Adam Sandler to play Ross. I would love Meg Ryan to play me. And, since she would be playing me, I'd like the paycheck, please!

Who would play me in a movie??? LOL

I was told when I was younger and much slimmer that I looked like Jill Clayberg. I personally don't see it but hey! She is a wonderful actress so I guess she could play me.

My Fantasy star would be Meryl Streep! Come on She is a fantastic actress! I think she could really capture the many moods of me. Kind of like all about Eve! LMAO

Who would play Ross????

Well I think Ross of course! Duh. But I could so see Jake Gyllenhall play you. (Sorry Jake if I spelled your last name wrong! I don't know why but I see it totally see it!Hmmmm maybe I missed my calling and should have been a casting director!

Happy Day Dreaming Saturday Blog Buddies

Happy Weekend Ross!

As for who could play me, I would want Kristie Alley. I have always loved her.
But as for playing you.....um....not a clue in Hollywood. But I do know someone personally, who acts just like you in your movements and you look alot alike too. He would be perfct!
Well, have a nice and fun weekend!
Love Ya!

For me, Drew Barrymore!!

I have no idea who would play me in the movie of my life b/c I don't think I really look like anyone....I think I would rather be a cartoon and I'll do the voice over :o).

Happy weekend, Ross!

Katie Holmes, for sure!

I don't think anyone could do justice to your personality, so you would definitely have to play yourself!!

You are a SPECIAL Human being/Soul/Spirit........and a great companion specially for me been overseas, but back to USA soon.
YOU should play YOU, cannot think on anybody else. As for myself maybe Catherine Zeta-Jones or Nicole Kidman.
ALL THE BEST TO YOU!

I think you look like Ben Affleck ! He would be perfect as you!

I have been told for 15+ years that I remind them of Rosie O'Donnell, so she would be my pick.

Ross the first person that comes to my mind to play you would be Jimmy Fallon, he is so funny, will start singing without prompting etc.

I hope your sinuses are getting better.

In other news, I wanted to thank you for chatting with me the other night in the chat room. I went to the dr on Friday, and now as of May 20, 2007 I have lost 74 lbs!!!! I am on my way to look as good as you.. I HOPE.

Love ya, Kristine

Lately, when I'm stuck in traffic, I've been thinking more about our troops still in Iraq and the continuing daily death tolls due to war.

Now, when I was a teenager, maybe in junior high, I used to think about the casting for my life story. 'Couldn't even tell you who it I cast (as such celebs come and go).

Today? I'd have to think about it some more. It would have to be an actor of great range. :D And he must be able to fill out a Speedos well (of course).

He wouldn't have a funny voice so at least that helps me whittle it down a bit.

I'll have to get back to you on it since most casting decisions are left to others in the end anyway (unless you're Ms Barbara Mandrell, of course).

Ross: You are t-totally the coolest! I love your blogs, your talky blogs and most of all I just love your attitude and how you make everything so bright. If they make a movie about you, hon the only one that could possibly fill your shoes is "ross". Keep smiling and take care of your sinus condition. Give Louise a kiss and hug from me. Happy Saturday bloggers.

I guess I would choose Sandra Bullock or Jennifer Aniston to play me since I like the movies they are in and my hair looks like Jennifer's.

I hope you enjoy your brunch Ross and feel better soon! Have a great day!

Bubbles

Kristine...way to go girl. You must look like a totally different person. How'd you do it, if you don't mind me asking???? Congrats.

Happy Saturday!!

Ross, honestly, I think you should write the story yourself, direct it, AND star as yourself. One of a kind is what you are.

For me....I would say Sandra Bullock. Mainly because she's quirky funny and I'm usually like that too.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

~~Hello, I'm Sandy and I'm a RossnRosieaholic~~

Kevin, shall we do a casting call for all those gents who can fill out a Speedo as well as you??? LOL...could be fun.

Tim McGraw

Hmmmm... I'll have to give this some thought....

Auntie Mame -- good ones! You've put a lot of thought into those. Blythe and Charlize are perfect!

Lucky for me none other than ROSIE O'DONNELL would do...

Hugs and Smiles Ross!!

grr-- it just did it again. My response to Auntie Mame is above her original post. ?? Don't know how that is happening. Sorry.

For me....Kelly Carlson....no not Clarkson, CARLSON (from Nip/Tuck) or

if I was younger, Dakota Fanning.

and if I was older, Jodie Foster

For Ross, Jonathan Rhys Meyers
For Mom, Blythe Danner
For Bunka, Betty White
For Eric, Charlie Sheen
Amy, Cameron Diaz
For Kai, a younger Zac Efron
Kona as himself (voice is John Goodman)
Daria, Charlize Theron

Happy Saturday :)

I would pick Debbie Reynolds. She is a few years older than I am but since I was a teenager people have said I look like her and they still do. For Ross and Louise I will think about and post later. It's warm today so I am off with my two dogs and one kitty for our afternoon nap.

Hey Ross....I think Jack on will and Grace would be perfect to play you.I saw him in a movie and he played ayoung Jerry Lewis.LOVE YOU!!!!

My kids say I look and act just like Diane Keaton.

HI ROSS and Blog Buddies!

Hope you had a yummy brunch!

Isn't daydreaming a fun way to momentarily escape the nasty realities of the real world. The things we think about 23/7.

Ross, totally play yourself!!

If I could cast someone to portray me in my very colorful life-story (lol) it would be between Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts or Tina Fey. They can laugh with gusto.
Make-up can make anyone look like anyone else!!!

KRISTINE fr. BOSTON -
APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE! Good work.

RE: area 51 -
If you say something - OWN IT.
Sign your name.

Have a good afternoon, Blog Buds!!

I think John Travolta in drag and a fat suit as he is in Hairspray would be a perfect me, except my hair would be straight. But I would prefer a cartoon with someone who has a young sounding voice as many people are surprised I am as old as I am when they meet me. They tell me I sound like a young boy. I am not insulted. I have heard me too and I agree. :o)

I agree with whomever said Mathew Perry should play you. I think he would be great as you.

I am posting my e-mail addy for a while since I won't be posting my URL again, at least for a while. It wouldn't let me post. At least I wasn't the only person it was messing with.

Aimee for the amount of time I got to spend at your On-line shower I had fun and thought it was funny some of the stuff you got... lube and condems.. :o) The baking set was nice too. We have a wonderful community here on Ross's blog. Everybody, or at least the ones who don't gripe about stuff, are nice and caring.

And again for those who missed it yesterday. I told you all that Ross wouldn't be posting any more pictures of his backyard. I can't remember if it was him or Daria that said he needed some things private and I agree. He does share so much of his daily life with us that we should respect his privacy.

Take care everyone, Love Jean

Margaret Hamilton from the wizard of oz and mmmmmm your little dog to!!!!!!

Hello Sir Rossalot!!

Big thank you for the LOADS of laughs you shared with us last night. I showed my Firefighter Hubby the BurbankFireDept clip. LOL with the Sir Rossalot and speedo scenes.

Also, almost wet my pants when we watched the Steve Irwin "sweetheart" comment!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! for sharing your life.

I finally Found the "Comment Section" that you kept talking about. I kept looking in the list of "Click here for..." stuff. It is kind of hidden in the little orange section.

Gotta tell you that sinus flusher-outer-thingy sounds like torture! God-you must be in pain if you really try it again!

Love to you and Louise

Happy Saturday Ross & BB's!!

Ross - your choice of voice for Louise is awesome!! I met Jennifer Tilley when she was in Squamish filming a movie called Deluxe Combo Platter (didn't get great reviews - but it's always so amazing when we have an opportunity to meet the casts that come through here). Her voice is amazing - and so is she. Her character Alma was the best in this movie! She played opposite Canadian actor Dave Thomas -an original from Saturday Night Live - and "Bob" of Bob & Doug McKenzie fame for any Canadians out there who remember "take off you hoser" - (Rick Moranis was "Doug" - if memory serves me). Barry Watson (7th Heaven) was also in a starring role and he and Marla Sokoloff - the lead (The Practice) and Monika Schnarre (famous Ford model) stayed for 3 months at the Inn where I worked as Guest Services Manager (2004).

Long story - sorry - just had to tell you how perfect her voice is for animation!!

Sean Hayes to play Ross.

Megan's character Karen Walker to play me.

Goldie Hawn for the voice of Louise....

Hey Anonymous! Re: BB8 and my comment, if you scroll up someone else had already mentioned who had gotten voted off... so go back to hiding behind your rock and read all the posts next time.

Oh my gosh Ross I know this is completely off subject and for that I apologize, but I just have to say that I adore you! You see I’m about to be a freshman in collage but I was home schooled since 7th grade so I was always kind of out of the loop with everything, but then I saw you on The Tonight Show and started reading you blog (and you got me hooked on Perez Hilton) and I am now shall we say up to speed on most things. So thank you for brightening my days Ross! Love you babes! *MWAH*

woohoo top 100!

AUNTIE MAME -
You are hired as Casting Director! You can still do the JBJ photo shoot, too!!

KerryO,

Long story long lol

about 3 months ago I went to see a surgeon for the gastric bypass, he said I was a candidate, but it takes 3-4 months before they will do it, there is psychological test, all kinds of exams, meetings etc before you can get it done. But it all sounded ok with me. When I got home with the 30 pages of literature I had to read, I read you have to be on a liquid diet for a long period of time, then pureed, then soft food. The big thing that concerned me is that you have to sip your drinks (water etc) I am NOT a sipper, I am always thirsty and that would be the toughest part. I decided I would try the liquid diet now and follow all of what has to be done after the surgery. I decided I would start on May 20th. My fathers friend recommended MEDIFAST, as he has done it successfully a few times, however, he does it wrong.. he over eats for 10 months then does the medifast for 2 so he is a roller coaster from 245-185 every year. Medifast says you need to have 5 of their meals (shakes, soups, bars) and one lean/green meal. I am only doing the meals from them and on the 20th of each month I am having a real meal. My mothers friend that needs to lose 30 lbs started it 2 weeks ago, doing it the way I do it and she has lost 11 lbs already.

Thank you for the congrats, sorry it was such a long story.

Kristine :)

Hi Ross Daling!
glad you are better
For you ,I think Ben Affleck
You also look like a young Bob Hope to me~

For me~
As A Younger Girl
~Drew Barrymore~
or Kate HUDSON

Then a perfect match, for my age now~
~ Rosie O'donnell

Have a fab weekend
xoxo

SMILES AND PEACE

Hi Ross Hi Blog Buddies!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. As for who would play me in the story of my life, I think it would have to be Roseanne, She would need to take creative license (and lot's of it) to make my life seem just a little more interesting. Or at least more humerous. Tc blog buddies and Hope you feel bettr Ross.

HOW FUN ROSS!!

Ok....

Cameron Diaz would play me (first ditzy blonde I could think of), then Mark Walberg would be cast to play my husband (my friends say they look a like, I agree with them). Jennifer Anistan to play the role of my best friend Laura for sure. They are dead ringers for eachother! The voice of my Shih-Tzu dog Riley would have to go to Megan Mullaley (SP?), the woman who played Karen from Will & Grace :)

Lets start production on that ASAP!!!

Have a FAB Saturday Ross!

I agree with the Will and Grace actor for you Ross....you both have teriffic energy!!
for myself well I guess it would have to be Cathy Najimmy (spelling??)

Kristine-I am so happy for you. How hard is it to fast? I had surgery on my foot a few weeks ago and couldn't eat or drink anything from midnight the night before on. The not eating part was ok...but the not drinking nearly did me in. I love diet pepsi and water. I brushed my teeth so many times just to have a wet feeling in my mouth. When I woke up from surgery I got a few sips of water. It was HEAVEN. A few hours later I had a DIET PEPSI and I was beyond happy. I understand totally about not being a sipper. Do you exercise too? New wardrobe yet???

Kerry :)

Ross I havent seen it yet, but i think that the girl who stars in hairspray should play me. She's a big girl with big attitude. Sounds like me!

Lemon DEB oh my gosh, thank you SO much for our Amazon gift card!!!! You are so so so so sweet to do that! Tyson and I both thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!

Kevin T I dont want to start something, and i am not meaning to be rude or butt in. But are you mad at Ross or something? On yesterday's blog you post about how the blog owner needs to take fault for the meanies on here. then today you start out by saying that you think about the war, and that you thought of the TOTD when you were a kid. Kinda implying that its a childish topid. Then when you do address the topic you say: "He wouldn't have a funny voice so at least that helps me whittle it down a bit." Which sounds like a direct bash to me. I am just wondering. Why the anger? (i say anger for lack of better words.)

please dont take this post the wrong way, i am not trying to be rude. just am wondering whats up

HI Ross,

IF WE COULD SWAP AGE

SLAM DUNK,

YOU COULD PLAY ME

AND I COULD PLAY YOU

MY VOICE ISNOT AS HIGH BUT I CAN ACT.

MEGAN FROM WILL AND GRACE SHOULD PLAY LOUISE

ON Another note.
bloggrs, I WENT to my Dr today. have lost 10 kilos so far.

Yes!

Jimmy Fallon

or

Sean Hayes to play you!!

Both cute & extremely funny...Just like you :)

I can't think of anyone who could play me, but, it would have to be someone who is very independent, is NOT a suck-up, and doesn't take crap from anyone. ???

For you, Ross, it would have to be someone sweet, sincere, and genuine. I can't think of anyone like that in Hollywood. You'll just have to play you. Cheers!

to Ohio Mom loving the laughs, Me too, I watch Jay Leno and Have seen Ross the intern many times, but not everytime. Went to Youtube to see Beyonce fall! and started looking around and decided to watch old Ross the intern stuff, my god, I laughed and laughed the Fire hall with the pole burn, with Steve (rest his soul) the crodile guy, with the bikers funny funny stuff. Ross was big but it suited him. But hes still soo cute, in the Olympic swap sale stuff so funny. Is there somewhere I can watch more clips? even when you preview your comment Ross is big and then when you post it, hes small again, so funny. love it

KerryO,

I was for many years a self described diet cokeaholic, I would drink a 12 pack daily.

But the shakes honestly fill me, there are only 2 flavors that I will drink though, as some of them are just well just gross. I drink about 1 1/2 gallons of water or crystal light per day. As far as excersize, I have very bad high blood pressure, they have been trying to get it down for 1 1/2 years so I really am not allowed. The dr said 1 month ago I could start walking 15 min/day so I am doing that. I am having a test on Monday that will let them know if I can start going to like Curves or something. I tell you once I hit 40 (2years ago) the chit hit the fan lol. If you need to lose any amount of weight I recommend Medifast as it has done wonders.

As for a new wardrobe. I have a few things I can wear that were deep in my closet, I am not going to buy anything except essentials as it is coming off so quick. My hope is to be down 150lbs by Dec 1, as I am going on a cruise with my parents then lol My ultimate goal is 160lbs. I am 5'11" with a broad frame, so I know I will never be "skinny" but "sexy" works for me :)

Happy Saturday Ross & BB's

I see the messages are still bouncing around! AmyP complementing Auntie Mame on her list choices. Okay, did I miss them -- scan up to see. Go get my glasses. Hmm, have a headache but I'm not totally blind. Ahhhh, there they are -- after AmyP's post!! Yes, they are good choices once you find them!!

For Ross - I think Robin Williams.
All the hand moments & the voices. When Ross is excited, feeling blaah, in a hurry, so many different sounds & Ross talks with his hands!!

For me - Others have picked her & so would I. Rosie.
Cut her off at the knees for height, get rid of the hair dye. Let the grey out. I'm total grey & like my grey. Tried the dye -- hated it. Fact I gained 30 lbs past 2 years being more housebound with Mom -- I don't see the skinny minnies working for me! Major common factor -- both direct in speaking our minds. Don't fancy dance around a lot of issues.

Kevin T. -- Knowing we have speedo scenes required -- could we use George Clooney??

Happy Saturday!!

Yeah, top 100!!!

I have NO idea who could play me in a movie - I don't really think anyone would want to do a movie about MY life!!

I missed chat last night due to power outage/lightening and thunder!! have also had terrible storms earlier today - just calmed down so that I could get on the computer!!

hope everyone is having an excellent day!!
later,

the son of matthew perry and kelly ripa.

if he's not available, sean hayes.

Ross should play himself, his voice is his trademark.
If I was a movie I think Bett Midler, I am not beautiful but I'm funny, and I laugh loud when something is funny. I'm not shy about sexy stuff, but I don't like crude stuff for the sake of bad mouth stuff.
Mary

I was thinking Sean Hayes would be perfect to play you, ross.

For me, well, Michelle Pfiefer (sp?) comes to mind, not that I am THAT beautiful, but I kinda started out plain and, feel, at 49 that I get better with age....

Jennifer Tilly as Louise YES YES PERFECT!

Love,

Hey y'all,

I hope you're having a great day! I think Jake Gyllenhall (no clude on the spelling) would be a really good choice for Ross (nice thought, Lynn D). BUT I agree that no one could do Ross like Ross - you should be the star!

I've been told I remind people of Kelly Ripa (if she gained 20 pounds and without the fabulous wardrobe) - I think she's a good balance of mom, work, and goofiness...so I'd be happy with her! :) Would that mean that my hypothetical husband could me Mark Consuelos? Yay for me!

I agree that there's ALWAYS room for daydreaming - you don't have to be in junior high to do so. I'm sure even our troops in Iraq take some time to daydream - it's a great escape and can release much-needed endorphines. Maybe there would even be less road rage if more people took the time to think happy thoughts at stop lights!

I'm going to head to Area 51 to catch up on posts. XO to Ross and all my blog buddies.

Thanks for all the fun, Ross. We all need to balance some light in our lives!

Peace & love,
t

WOW cool topic, makes you think. Man if they made a movie about me, who would play me, or who would i like to play me...hmmm?? He would have to be handsome, funny, compasionate, easy going, great body, you know, everything i am not hahahahahah. I would have to say..RICK MORANIS.

Gosh, who would play me? Well, I always dreamed of being an actress so I guess if I could fantasize.. it would be me. Otherwise, I would say Diane Keaton, I am younger then her by about 25 years but I'm just like her at least in the characters she plays. Love her!!

Baja Danny,

Way to go!! Excellent.

When you mentioned seeing the other person eating a chocolate bar, I know you probably wanted it but just think, her numbers are not going to be there. You are seriously committed to this and I applaud you!

Baja Danny--Big congrats to you. How are you feeling? I hope all is well. I'm toasting you with a nice tall Diet Pepsi!

Congrats!!!
Kerry

I would be a cross between Meg Ryan, Julia Louis-Drefyss (sp?) and Jessica Simpson. Not too sure if that is good or bad!!!! I like the Jake Gylenhal idea for Ross. He truly is an original though which is one of the reasons we love him.

Kristine, This is too funny. I am also 5'11 and am broad as well. I know I'm never going to weigh 120. A great weight for me is around 175. I try not to get on the scale and just go by the fit of my clothes. I did Curves about 2 years ago and then my family joined the Y. I LOVED going there but since breaking my foot (8-06) and then it not healing right, and then surgery a few weeks ago, I haven't exercised much at all. It is top of my list for when I am back on my TWO good feet.

Funny about us both being 5'11, don't you think????

:)

Oh Kathy Bates would have to play me!
For you I think only you could play you!
Have a great weekend and day!
I am being extra lazy today and not doing too much.
Have a good one bb's.

First of all..Only you can play you Ross honey

I guess if I had to pick someone to play me..it would be Sally Fields.
I'm a political activist and volunteer..she would fill that bill.. :D

That's a tough one... I can't think of anyone who could play Ross...looks or personality wise...hummm...

As for me...I don't know that either...I'd be interested in knowing what you guys think?

Check out my Myspace and let me know!

Anna

Oops! I guess making links doesn't work well here..

My myspace is www.myspace.com/annatmc

Anna

Ross, you are an original! Love you so much.

Who would I like to play me? Well, I lost my leg to cancer MANY years ago, so when the movie Grindhouse came out this year, Rose McGowan played a character that had a machine gun leg! She rocked in that movie..in fact, I just received a tattoo of her w/the machine gun leg on my arm!
Give puppy big hugs and kisses from me and my family of three dogs and six cats.
Carol

KerryO,

My long lost twin!! lol I hope your foot heals soon! I don't think I could ever weigh 175, the Dr. set my goal for 215 with my frame. At that weight I would be a size 10 which would be great!!

Ummmmm..Ross, I don't think that there is an actor out their who has the skills to capture your essence. The closest I can think of is Martin Short.
Me...Well..Gwyneth Paltrow on the Shallow Hal side. Ha ha. Not quite...but, on my way to the Shallow Hal side.
Anyway...Hi Blog Buddies! I hope you are all having a rockin' weekend.
CaseyB

Jennifer Tilly would be
PAW-FECT for darling Louise's voice!!! Great choice!

Now, who would play me?? Well I look like the love child of Sally Struthers and Rosie O'Donnell (how sweet is that).
I have been told for 15 yrs now that I look like Rosie but I don't think it is so much as physical appearance as it is facial expressions and such. My hair is not brown anymore so I get it less and less nowadays. Everyone I know says I am a hoot so it would have to be someone kinda funny but not in the joke-cracking kinda way. I get most of my laughs from blurting randome things or saying things that everyone else is thinking but won't say. Know what I mean? I am also very passionate about things that mean a lot to me and can be serious when I need to be. So...going back to the original ToTD....I have no idea who would play me!!! I guess my picks would be, Rosie, Kathy Bates or Sally Field (add 100 lbs).

Ok....now for a moving update. The movers are in Atlanta now and should get here around 8 tonight! Can you believe that bunk?? Our eta for Gainesville is 2 tomorrow...keep your fingers crossed for me BB's. Wait..what is that?? do I dare say I see a little light at the end of this nightmarish tunnel???? I can't say it just yet, I am scared I will jinx something! lol

Peace Out!!
TTFN

I think Miley Cyrus would play me in a movie because she kinda looks like me and she is around my age!!! She is down earth just like me!!

Kristine,
I'm just so happy for you. Do you like being tall? When I was younger (high school) I didn't like it so much. Now that I'm older, I know that I would much rather be tall than short. The grass is always greener...

Good luck to you. Keep letting us know of your progress. I'll be your biggest cheerleader!!!!!

Kerry :)
P.S. I LOVE BOSTON!!! Not the Red Sox, but the city. Lots of fun things to do there. I'm a Yankees fan. Can we still be friends??? :)

Ok, so....I posted and then read the comments....

Kristine from Boston!!!! Are we sharing a brain or what?? That was a little twilight zoney for me! Too Funny!! :o)

I have no idea who would play me (or why they would want to)...Even though I read Perez and Dlisted faithfully, I don't know a lot of young actresses since I never watch movies.

Ross, I guess we are just not middle of the road kind of people.

Louise is precious! It would be great if there was somewhere we could all post pictures of our furbabies. I have 4 long coat chihuahuas and dearly love them. Much prefer them to my grandkids (at least the ones in puberty).

Glad you are feeling better. Have a great weekend!

oh wow, nobody could play you, ross. hahah.

i'd love for reese witherspoon to play me. she's so classy.

have a good day!

Kristine - wow. That is impressive work. So where do I get my hands on this Medifast stuff? I need to lose 20 pounds (the sooner the better). Is it recommended for 20-pounders like me? I need to start walking too. I've put on an extra 20 due to a stressful year and want to put that behind me.

AmyP: I can help you with that! I'm a Health Advisor for them.

www.myspace/sandie_with_an_ie

Hi Ross and Blog Buddies, Happy Saturday!!

Well, I think that YOU could play you, Ross or Ben Affleck or Matthew Perry or Robin Williams(when he was younger) or YOU!!

Now for me, Gilda Radner (when she was heavier and not a stick) and Julia Louis Dreyfuss.

Ms. Tilly is great! She has THAT talent to play many different high-voiced people. She'd be great as Louis (or Louise could play Louise).

I Love you, Rossie, Hi to Mom, how was your brother's honeymoon and I suppose they are back and working and all that?? Say Hi to them.

((hugs)) to you blog buddies, great going, Danny! Keep it going...

Ross, lick Louise for me and big smooch to you! Ciao!

Before 100! At around 2:00 pm

Peace

Blast from the past! This is the exact game we played at the first newsroom I ever worked in. We would cast ourselves as stars, and stars as us.

They always picked Sandra Bullock, Lori Laughlin for me.

I have no idea who I'd pick for you. It would have to be someone really cool, handsome, with the voice of an angel and a great sense of humor. Are there any stars out there like that who aren't you? I don't think so.

Hailly Duff in the teenage years. Drew Barrymore from 25 to 40. In the childhood years, Hally Osmet except her hair is too curly. The Pepsi girl. Is that her name?

For present time I'd chose Brooke Shields. But I know a movie on my life is only a dream at this point, but what a nice dream.

Happy Saturday Ross!

What? No talky Blog on Saturdays??? I'm new at this, But I look forward to your Talky Blogs each day! Glad you were feeling a little bit better when you woke up, today! Hope the nettie Pot works for you.
Ok as who I would want to play me would be Rosie O !!!! And if you couldn't play yourself, then I think Robin Williams would do great, after seeing him in "The BirdCage" I love him him too! You make my day weather your whinning or Happy.. I look forward to your BLOG! And Louise is so cute, how did she make out with her haircut yesterday???
Ross your so much FUN!!!! Fell better fast!

Sandie - I don't have a myspace page. Can I still send you a message there?

hmmmm welll let me think here...
its a toss up between Drew Barrymore, Sandra Bullock and im ever so lucky to look like Julia Roberts!
I think Drew would probably be the closet to me, shes my age or alittle older and im alot like her in some ways.. ( but i wont be flashing Dave Letterman anytime soon) But i totally respect Sandra Bullock.. She hasnt turned into one these starlets..shes real and down to earth.. so i would want her to play the hmmmm Older me...
As a youngster, i looked alot like Soleil Moon Frye AKA Punky Brewster. i had the dark hair, the freckles.. now i dont think i look like anyone in particular..
love ya ross!!

AmyP: I'm new to myspace so I don't know! But I don't think so. Hmmmm . . . how can we do this--I don't really want to put my email out here. Does anyone else know?

Ooh, good topic! I will have to think about it some more, though, before I decide which actress could best play me. My first thought was Sandra Bullock, but I'll have to ponder this some more.

Ross, I think you should star as yourself! I can't think of an actor that could pull off your bubbly, happy personality. Hmm, I'll keep thinking about this, too.

Happy Saturday, everyone! :)

Hello Ross, This is my first comment on your blog! So funny that you were thinking of a voice for your dog, I have done the same thing! Glad to know that someone else thinks like me! If my dog were in a movie I would want Danny DeVito to play the voice of Rascal. As for me Camryn Manheim would be the actress who would portray me! Love this blog, Alicia

Sandie and AmyP I set up an email account at yahoo.com for people here. It is free and works great.

Love reading everyones Who would play me in a movie! What fun!

oohh i meant to say if Im ever so lucky, Julia Roberts.. i do not look like her, however she is one of my favs... sorry ...

Sandie - feel the same about the email thing. LMK if we figure something out.

So Sandra Bullock seems to be the winner of the popular vote today. :)

Sandie - You can change your privacy settings on myspace temporarily, long enough for AmyP to leave you a message with her email addy. Once you get it, change your settings back to private.

AmyP, make sure you leave her a message (private) and not a comment (public).

Hope this helps,
t

you cannot message someone on myspace though unless YOU have a myspace page yourself :(

Rebecca DeMornay - people have said I remind them of her. Hope it's for the looks more than any Hand That Rocks the Cradle similarities. For Ross - either Orlando Bloom or a young Antonio Banderas!

KerryO,
It was the same for me growing up.. I was always the tallest girl in the class and all the good looking boys were short. Having said that... I love being tall. Now as for the Yankees... lets just not mention that again ok lol I am a true blue Sox fan.

Gigi,

Sometimes I feel as if I DO split a brain with someone lol.

Amy,

Yes I believe it is recommended for all, as I said my mothers friend needed to lose 30 lbs and has lost 11 in 2 weeks. I am doining just medifast not the daily meal right now. They are loaded with protein and vitamins so I have alot more energy. You have to order online(at least that is how I do it) at Medifast1.com I can tell you that the Dutch chocolate and the Swiss Mocha are the only shakes I get. I tried them all but, the Vanilla, banana, & strawberry just dont taste good to me. Good luck to you if you want to try it :)

Kristine

Yea, t time!! Once again, the voice of reason! Thank you.

AmyP: did you get that?
www.myspace.com/sandie_with_an_ie

Sean Hayes should play you! Didn't Jennifer Tilly do the voice for the Bride of Chucky? I just don't see her being Louise's voice since I associate it with a killer doll!

MEG RYAN would star as me! She is superlicious fantastic.

I had by-pass surgery over ten years ago and now I am back to being heavy. I got no counseling so I continued to eat like I always did before I started loosing weight for the surgery. I thought because I had lost all that weight it wouldn't come back. It did. So please, after the surgery eat like you are on a diet. If not you will get fat once more. I know this for a fact. Thank goodness Corey loves me for me and not what I look like. But then again, I love him for who he is and not what he looks like, but I do think he is cute and I am jealous, he is graying faster than me.

Take care everyone, Love Jean

Who could play me in a movie?

Probably Winona Ryder but she would have to be younger

Hello, JFK!

So, actors for me and Ross. Lets see.

Me: Can't decide between Rosalind Russell and Joan Crawford. Maybe a hybrid of the two.

You: Nathan Lane.

Joey: Glad to hear the BD wasn't too bad. Is there going to be a follow-up?

i agree with mamajo, jack from will and grace, and for me mayb melissa gilbert. laura version have a great weekend! going to the dog park? have fun.

AmyP: you still there?

I was reading some of the archives a while back and remembered that you were lucky enough to meet Anne Bancroft..I met her once too...I always thought that she would have nailed my life story (as an older woman)...Sandra Bullock would do right now though.

Ross...when you get to be a silver fox Leslie Neilsen would do you properly :)

Sandie - Lynn D had a good idea. Just go to yahoo, hotmail or gmail and set up a free email account. If you post it here to help someone like AmyP and you get crazy emails, you can always delete it.

t

Sandie - now back. I'll go take care of that right now.

Thanks, t time! Lynn D, I didn't see your message--I'm sorry. Yes, that is a good idea. Thanks.

Sandie - set one up at the one that starts with a Y.
Username is amyplovesross

Let's try that.

McAimee - if you see this, send me registry and wedding info there too. :)

Ross I know this is asking alot but could you wish my daughter Allison a happy birthday on your next blog. She will be turning 5 and she just loves you, it would totally make her day!!!

Kristine - how much does this cost per month to order all of the meals? I checked online and they have some deal for free shipping right now.

For me, Jodi Foster. I've been told I look like her. More so when I was a kid.

For Ross...really, only Ross should play Ross but if he's not available, Sean Hayes from Will & Grace.

Ross,

You graduated with a Communications degree. You are a writer. Your blog is so funny. When you write, we are right there with ya like what you went thru with that bug in the Aug. 2006 archives.

It would be animated so only you could only use your voice.

I tell my cats all the time that I wish they could talk. We'd have long conversations.

I just know you are smart and creative and I think you should start writing notes about what you'd like to do with this.

You know Jay. You have a good chance to do this because you have connections in Hollywood.

I think this is a great idea if you would take steps to do this.

Good Luck xoxoxoxoxo

Jackie

Happy Saturday BB's!

Ross ~ I definitely think that Sean Hayes could play you well. He's great!

As for me ~ I'm not really sure. I have been told more than once that I look like Drew Barrymore and also a few times like Angelina Jolie. I don't think I look like either and neither of them look alike, so ??? But, if I had to choose someone I LOVE, I would have to choose a younger Debra Messing, an alot younger Doris Day or a young Meg Ryan. I don't know of a good personality match for me. I just like them. Oh, or maybe Keri Russell....she's great too! Anyway, fun topic of the day Ross!

AmyP: sent you a message.

Hi Ross,
Thought your segment on the tonight show this past week was funny awesome.
I dont think I know who would play me!!
I also wanted to tell you that I think Jennifer Tilly as Louise is so cute!!!
Oh and I just to let you know Ant, is stealing your myspace buddies. haha no jk
I watched the blog back when you were on Celebrity fit club. I also saw the talky blog where you tried to call some of the cast members and Ant was one of them. I have been going to his blog almost everyday since. I go to your and his everyday now.
I just wanted to let ya know.
Well I hope you have a really good weekend and get rid of the sinus thing. I have the same problem with my sinus too. I usually just take Benedryl or however u spell it. I knocks me out but I am better when I wake up lol

Ross, Ross, Ross.... I hope when you get to the pharmacy they point you in the direction of the NeilMed products. They have the easiest-to-use/most effective nasal irrigation system. The neti-pot is a torturous thing. No, no, no, no to the neti-pot. YES, yes, yes to the NeilMed -- SO much easier and quicker. You'll feel HUMAN again.

Have a great weekend!

Isabella Rossellini
would best play me

Well, one of my friends says I look like Jennifer Hewitt, so probably her....or Brittany Murphy....

Happy weekend blog buddies!

Hugs from your virtual friend!

AmyP,

It is always free shipping if you have an order over $200.00. They have 4 week plans (which I do NOT recommend) because as I stated earlier some of the stuff I just cant get down. But if you want to know what taste good I can tell you what I order. Also there are alot of coupons I think the code is COUPON01 for $20 or $30 dollars off your first order.

Jean,

I am doing this to avoid surgery and I dont think I will be a candidate any more as I have lost almost 50% of my goal.

mcAimee Well, ultimately, it is the blog owner - at any blog - who sets or allows for the way the blog goes.

As for the "funny voice" thing. My question to you mcAimee would simply be: What are YOU saying about Ross's voice (since I guess that's what you'd be implying - that it was a bash at Ross?).

I was referring to a funny voice ala Ross's quest to find an animated movie-sort of voice for Louise.

Jennifer Tilly is rather famous for her funny voice. I would think that quality (and not her rather equally famous boobs, of course) would have factored into his decision to cast her for Louise's voice.

I wasn't even really thinking about Ross's voice since he was still out on who should play him.

Although his voice is sort of funny, too. But I doubt that would be "NEWS" to him. And I'm sure he's glad to have that voice especially as it related to the world of entertainment.

And as for the rest, there is a war on. That's what some other people think about while driving. I don't think anyone should take the mention of it personally. Is it taboo to even make mention of it?

Diane - medee: My thought on George Clooney would be that he's agree to play me but would require a Speedo stand-in during the Speedo stunt shots.

Thanks Kristine and Sandie (you have mail) for the info. Want to keep up with our skinny Ross and I need to get my butt (too large at the moment) in gear. Ross' salads look good, but I can't do tofu OR goat cheese.

Kristine-I would love to know what tastes good versus not so good in your opinion. I'm kinda picky about that! I put contact info in an earlier post. Thanks.

Just stopping by to say hello!

Hi ROSS you silly person! I agree with those saying you need to play yourself...and why not?! For little LOUISE I was thinking Kristin Chenoweth.

For me GEEEEEZ.....looks wise I would say Valerie Bertinelle (spelling?) before she lost the last 15 pounds!!My boyfriend Lou-though younger,looks a lot like Jimmy Smitts (again-spelling?),and if my baby (kitty) could talk it would be the voice of Bon Jovi!
moweenie I'll have him call you :)

Happy weekend blog buddies!
WELCOME all new blog buddies!!
Hi Alicia!..or should I say Camryn?? :)

skydigger how is your nose?? Better I hope.

Kristine way to go!!! WOW I am so impressed.Be proud!

GiGi almost in FL keep going girl...you'll make it.Positive thoughts to you!!

BajaDanny YAAAAAAA! I have no idea what 10 'kilos' would be, but I'm still happy for you my friend!!

"What a day for a daydream"...

SMILES and hugs.......

Hey Ross,

Have a great weekend!!

Ross,
The only person that comes to mind that could play you is the late Andy Kaufman. I think YOU need to play you. You are one of a kind!
Have a nice week-end!
Love, Linda in Yakima

Ross,

Sean Hayes for Ross.
Glen Close for Ross's Mom.
The guy from the "Wonder Years" for Jay Leno and Samuel L.Jackson for Kevin Eubanks. We can't forget Ross's two dads!!
Jody Foster for Daria
Robin Williams as the voice of Louise

For my life story I think I'll pick Kathy Bates.

Me: Renee Zellweger

Ross: Nathan Lane

Louise's voice: Georgia Engel

Funny thought!

Amyp,

I could not find your contact info, here is mine:

Kris121364@aol.com

GiGi in SC (soon to be in FL): Happy trails to you as you leave the beauty of SC for the beauty of FL (don't go getting eaten by a gator now)!

And don't forget: Although youu may be gone, we'll always be on similar hurricane paths. :) sniffle.

Seasidelady,

1 kilo = 2.2 lbs.

Unfortunately we are under the metric system in Canada and it still screws me up. Temperatures - weight - liquid volume - measurements. You sell gas by the gallon - we sell it by the litre.

Kevin T. - Guess some more thought will have to be given to the "speedo wearing one!"

AmyP - Still haven't tried the tofu yet - want to. Goat cheese, I agree with you. Can't go there!!

Amanda Bynes!

I can't think of anyone to play Ross other than Ross himself! I'd have Mandy Moore star as me in the movie of my life since we're around the same age and she's not a wild party person like some of the other younger stars.

oooh.. great topic. Well Blue, my dog, his voice would totally be brad pitt's. and I'm not even that huge of a fan, but there it is.
For me... when I was younger I looked very much like Shannen Dougherty. However, I'd love Sandra Bullock to! Shes hilarious! as am I in my mind. However, I probably have to most in common with Rosie.

Me: Emma Thompson

Ross: Either Cary Grant or Tom Hanks~ I went with nice and classy, yet funny

Speedo Filler: Oh definitely Mr. George Clooney. My friends think my husband looks like him, so I have a special fondness for him~

Happy Saturday~

McAimee Congrats~ Sorry I missed the shower...had to work...and next week my cousin gets married in CA. But I will be thinking of you. Marriage is the BEST~

ross, ross, ross...

if i heard you correctly, your sinus prob started before your vacation and cruise and disappeared while there.
you get home and voila' - its back.

i watched your talkyblog and noticed Louise licking your face.

do u really know whats all over her tongue? dog spit rated #1 for highest bacteria/virus counts. ewwwww

and u wonder why your sinus's are inflammed....ross, ross, ross.. LOL

get better and no dog kisses.

frances:)

For someone to play mee... I would have to say Alexis Bledel. I also love Lauren Graham, and her personality too,because ours are similar, so either of them would be good for me =)

Oh, Ross, I would have to agree with the blogger who said Jimmy Falon could portray you.

As for myself, a younger Doris Day (in her mid 40's).

Hi Diane and Kerry O.

Thanks for the shout out.

SEASIDELADY, HOW ARE YOU TODAY. ALWAYS NICE TO SEE YOU SAY HI

I have to get used to the killo thing as well.

I know I have lost 10 killos and today is the first time I have seen my wight in lbs.

so I guess I have lost about 23 lbs in just 2 and half week's.

Oh Teah, and the Dr said I was his best patient

the best news is i can go on a reg diet in 10 days not 4 more weeks

yeah solid foods

When I need to convert into or from metric, I go to the weather network site. They have a conversion page that covers everything. Saves having to remember all the formulas to convert.

www.theweathernetwork.com/conversions/

gee thanks Diane, I am going to that site now

Hey Diane,

That's a great site.

so now I know

22.05 lbs

lost

A thousand THANK YOU's to SEASIDELADY and KEVIN T for the well wishes and positive vibes! This blog has been such a positive source for me over the past, very hectic week. To all the BB's who have shared this rocky road with me, I appreciate it from the heart!

The latest: The movers called at 6:20 leaving Atlanta so they should be here around 10:30 - ugh.

K...Peace Out for now!

I still have hard time with temperature. It's 27 Celcius here with humidex of 31. Okay. And that is??
Formula is I think 27 x 2 + 30 or 32 but is not correct & just a pain. Same with recipes in grams & milligrams as I have screwed up some pretty badly. I'm old & I still do Fahrenheit and pounds/ounces.

I have the weathernetwork bookmarked!!!

Anything to help & make it easier!!!

Me - Sharon Stone
My hubby - Antonio Bandaras, Kevin Eubanks and George Clooney (yes I said AND).... Ok, he doesn't look like any of them .... but a girl can dream, can't she?
For you, Ross - definitely Sean Hayes!

For me I guess: a really beefed up Meryl Streep, and her daughter who is acting now, could also add's some pounds(not as many) and play a younger version of me :)

People used to tell me I looked a bit like Meryl in college.
Others I have heard I look like are, Wynnona Judd(fellow chubbette), and hmmm someone just said I looked like Jennifer Coolidge from "Best in Show", "American Pie" etc. etc. So scrap all of the above, she can play me...she is dang funny. I love her!!

=^..^=

Diane - the conversion is the temp in celcius x 2 less 10% plus 32 (only works for temps above 0 degrees celcius)

WTG Baja

That's the first time I have heard re the 10% and you know how long we have been metric!!

Thanks.

Hmmm. For me? I think it would have to be Sherry Shepherd. I mean, I am a male homo on the outside and a FABULOUS black woman on the inside!

Hello all ... this is my first post here, but I have lurked for a while. I heart you all tons!

Well I have been catching up on the remarks and I can see all of these celebrities when I read the posts. It's like a big cocktail party! LOL

GiGi: Wishing you a very safe moving trip!!!!

Baja Danny: 22.05 pounds WOW!That is amazing! Way to go!

Peace to All

Welcome zeke!!!!

Kristine, I am sooo happy for you. Fifty percent is GREAT!!!!!!!!! :o)

Someone to play Ross is hard...I can't really come up with anyone that could do him justice. Maybe there is a young up and coming actor, who we don't know of yet, that could play him in a few years. Are they any more of those Caulkin kids who want to act? LOL

Of the suggestions so far, I like Sean Hayes and Jimmy Fallon for Ross the best.

I have no idea who would play me -- a very interesting thing to think about though. In some ways, Rosie...in others, Sherrie Sheppard.

Thanks for the subject -- I'll give it more thought...

Baja Danny: ((((Hugs)))) Thank you for the thought! That is very sweet. I am just happy to have a fun place to blog with my blog buddies!

My award or reward is keeping in touch with you guys each day.

Love to all

How about Dakota Fanning for Louise? She has a sweet young voice, and I hear she could use some work. :D

=^..^=

Sorry for not posting all my answers in one post...I am running here and there and back to the computer again, and trying to think at the same time. NOT easy for ME!

seasidelady,
your are always so enjoyable and nice!!!!
and kevint i find you very entertaining!
have a good day all!!!!!

Danny - did you get your ? answered? WTG is "way to go."

Congrats on all those lost kilos. :)

Colin Farrell for me. :-) Ross is irreplaceable.

Well for me I'm having problems thinking of someone to portray me. Who would be kind of flirty, formerly slutty, menopausal and fiesty? Anything that is worth portraying would have to be done under an alias.

xxoo
MM

LOL Baja!!! Relax, honey - some of us have already been BotM and there's plenty of time for the rest.

WAY TO GO BAJA DANNY.

Hey Ross, I would have to agree Nathan Lane for Ross. I was thinking the same thing!

As for me Rosie. I have been told several times, aleast when I had long hair I looked her. And we all know I tell it like it is!

as for me Barbara Walters as for u any girl would do.

My first thought as to who would play me in a movie was Kathy Bates, but my dear, sweet husband (who looks a lot like Harold Ramis, by the way) said "NO WAY! She's too old!" He didn't mention her size being far off though. :)
I asked, "Then who would you say?" He said he thought Renée Zellweger, when she was Bridget Jones. I would actually have to lose weight to look like chubby Bridget, or she'd have to gain some weight to look like me. :(

Hello everyone,

~ Here is a twist~

The only person that I think could protray me is a character from a T.V. show.

~ I know it doesn't really answer the question~

The person I am thinking of is Rhoda from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. My husband totally agreed. I am so much like the character Rhoda. I have a big heart, but sometimes I forget to think before I talk. I am also very outgoing.

My husband has been told that he looks like Tobey Maguire.

KEVIN T. FOR BLOGGER OF THE MONTH!!!

B Danny, You are a peach. Thanks for thinking of me and congrats on the FANTASTIC weight loss! :)

Whab, Roslind has a 24 inch waist!!!!!!! I bet you look great in Chanel :)

For those who missed Ross on Talk Soup (E network) it replays tonight at 9pm EST.

Talk Soup-11:30 EST E

Oh dear, I don't have time to read all of your comments so I hope I am not repeating too much.

But Sean Hayes is a fun person to play Ross...
But young Adam Brody
(Seth Cohen) would make a cute Ross too.

I'm not sure if either of them have eyes as pretty as Ross' warm brown eyes.

Sorry, "Talk Soup" is on at 11pm EST

double oopsie

Whab, Bea Arthur is more you, lol (said absolutely lovingly)♥♥

ok, if you were not available to play yourself i would say chris kattan.
love the tilly idea for baby girl.

Hi Ross!
I've been a blogger for a while, but haven't ever posted because I wasn't sure how...I'm 24...whatever. Anyway, I think you are just too cute for words and I think we have like so much in common random tv trivia (definitely watched empty nest, remember that reference?!), gum seeming like rubber and today above all- dog voices! i have a really extra cute 3 year old lab chow whose name is Baker (Bakey of course who i now call my pawfect little dogson). well, I totally agree with your jennifer tilly idea! I think Bakey's voice would definitely be that little fat red head from The Sandlot. Sooo fitting for my little husky boy! Anyway, hope you're having a fun weekend and you too bloggers!

Happy Satruday all...

Saturdays were designed for sleeping in! :)

QotD: Hmmmmm.... Younger me...Tom Cruise. Me today... Nathan Lane with a little bit of Dame Judi Dench and Dame Edna combined.

Ross- To play me has to be Chris Katten!!

For looks Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I get That ALL the time!!

For Jac- Kathy Bates

so i am watching an old episode of six feet under on demand and before reading about a netti pot on your blog i never heard of such a thing before. so on of the characters recieved one for his birthday and as soon as i saw it i thought of you. it was awesome.

Let me see...........

The roll of Trey Hatfield will be played by Matt Damon.

Okay, let me wake up! More like Nathan Lane!!!

Keven T....J Depp

Ross.......Sean Hayes

Mamajo you must be my twin because Ive been told I look like Diane Keeton althow that was before Igained wt.

~me: Kate Winslet,Kathy Griffin and Angelina Jolie morphed into one person

~my: dogs(black lab mixes):a young Judy Dench and Ashton Kutcher

~ROSS: from BB8- skinny Danielles boyfriend that I saw at 3/4 profile for a second and thought he kinda looked like you(but maybe he ONLY resembles you at a 3/4 profile so that could make filming difficult,how about DUSTIN from BB8 instead? He's really cute!

Ross. I have been thinking all day about casting you and Louise. I watched a bit of "Little Miss Sunshine". I closed my eyes when Abigail Breslin was talking and I could see Louise sounding just like that. She was nominated for an oscar for that role. Maybe she could win an oscar for Louise. That would be cool.
If you can't play the part (and I don't see why you couldn't) then Sean Hayes could do it. He was great in the Jerry Lewis film - even looked like him. They could never get him to look as cute as you however. Anway that's my vote.

Baja Danny and Kristine from Boston congratulations on the weight loss!!
Skydigger I hope your nose is feeling better.
Have a great night everyone!!

Mindy Cohn from "The Facts of Life" would be dead on to play me, tho, what a boring movie it would be!
Smooches!

Well, If it were a movie about me... the star that would play me in my child hood would have to be DJ from Full house, cuz as a kid, I looked just like her. Me now.... hummmmmmmm..... People tell me i look a tiny bit like Drew Barrymore, so i guess in my fantasy world she would have to be me. Or Sara Ramirez. (is she hot or what???) Since we were talking fantasy world here..... Patrick Dempsey would have to be my Husband!!

Evelyn, that is funny!!! She would make a good me too. i want to say that Jennifer Aniston would play me, but in reality, It would be the facts of life girl. Me from the 80's though..... DJ from Full House. Looked just like her. Kinky hair and all.

Okay im revising my list...
It could be any of these great actresses... I just dont know how i would pay them!!
Drew Barrymore
Soleil Moon Frye ( okay if i was ALOT skinnier, i would be a dead ringer for her!i couldve played a stand in for Punky Brewster when i was younger.. )
Sandra Bullock
Debra Messing
Julia Roberts,
Sarah Jessica Parker.. ( she could play me when i live in New York.. she would have to color her hair dark brown)
Kelly Clarkson

These are the ladies that if i had to write a screenplay about myself.. or just a screenplay these ladies would be my top choices..

"You Take The Good You Take The Bad something something and There You Have The Facts Of Life, The Facts Life, Cuz the World...oops sorry, Evelyns Mindy Cohn reference set me off.

Heres one: If your life was a tv show what would it be called? Would it be a sit-com,soap opera,miniseries, a cartoon?

And starring with Miss Neti Pott this evening will be her blow-hard of a leading man, Mr Sinus Passage in Neil Simon's "Come Blow Your Horn".

No flash photography please (it sets the actors to sneezing).

Thank you.

And no smoking, of course.

Very well, on with tonight's play!

And no quick or sudden moves as a single perfumed fragrance upon a wafted breeze will cause the players to congest.

Thank you.

And no popcorn in the lobby. A lot of people are allergic, ya know?

And try to remain indoors throughout this evening's performance. No opening EXIT doors during Intermission please (the yarrow are in season and well...)

Now for our play.

Who's wearing a fox-trimmed coat this evening? Please see an usher. You will receive your wrap at the end of tonight's show.

And now, "Come Blow Your Horn".

The part of "the dog" will be played by Ms Jennifer Tilly playing Ross the Intern's dog, Louise. You'll know who "the dog" is because she'll have a funny voice.

Please remain in your seats. Ms Tilly was tested for any dander-related issues prior to casting.

And now on with the show!

Hmmm, who would play you in a movie? Maybe Ant, lol! I have no idea who would play me in a movie. If I had my choice, hmmm, maybe Natalie Portman. I just like her personality, and she seems to not drink a lot and do drugs, and even if she does, she seems to be smart enough to get a designated driver.

roflmao

Hi Ross, I haven't commented in a while but have been enjoying the blogs. I have been very busy getting daughter prepared to go off to college. ..whoot woot..last child off to COLLEGE!

Who would play me??...well, most likely Roseanne Barr. Because she is witty and understands the mom role well. That's me. :)

Take care and I hope the sinus thing gets a whole lot better real soon.

PS: that netty bag thingy sounds kind gross..hehe.

Beverly aka Bebbilane who hasn't visited the chat room in a while.

I can't picture anyone playing Ross, but ROSS?!?

If Nel Carter were still alive, I think she would play me just right:-) If I have to pick a live one... maybe Robin Givens(sp), but she would have to gain a whole pile of weight for the role!

I've always wanted to be asked this question!!!
But first: Ross, I think YOU should star in the movie of your life, I don't think anyone can say Hi blog buddies quite like you!
As for me: I would love for Anne Hathaway to be me. I've been told by people that I remind them of her, so I'd be honored for her to play me!
Have a great weekend everyone!!

~~~~ROSS~~~~
I have the PERFECT person that could play you! I worked with him for many years...his name is Hans! I do believe you are one in a million but he would be a perfect match!!!
I think Jennifer Garner could play me. We don't look anything alike....but our personalities and mothering skills seem to be the same!
I am told that I look like Drew Barrymore (her look in THE WEDDING SINGING)...
LIVE...LOVE...LAUGH
The real question is who should play who is.....
Who would play your love interest(s)?
Ok, who is 1st?
Yes, Mikey! Flea!!! LOL!
Skydigger: I've been thinking of you. Hope you're getting by okay.
Evening bloggers
Welcome new bloggers!!
Hi zeke357az!
ali happy weekend to you!
kd from WI HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you are enjoying it!
Hey Diane thanks for that website. You made me laugh talking about grams and miligrams. Why must the dr say 'give him 10 ml of Tylenol'? Why can't he just say give him 2 teaspoons?!
soup special hugs to you :)
Sybie I LOVED Nell Carter. She was so funny but most of all that girl could siiiing!!
Now I gotta go watch 'Summerland'...AGAIN!
BajaDanny do you think you could get me THAT house?!
SMILES..........
Auntie Mame - what a great idea!!
Are you talking about who would be equivalent to our current love interest or who we would like to be our love interest??
oh, who you would like is much more fun, Gigi!!!!!!
anyone watch...
Jon & Kate plus 8?
Love THIS SHOW! It is on Discovery Health-tuesday nights at 10pm. It is also on TLC...
amazing show about a family and their 8 young children...one set of twin girls and sextuplets (3 boys and 3 girls!). If you haven't seen it yet, watch...it is great! :)
who will play anonymous?
OK, now I know why I love Berry so much...
I asked him who would play me in my life story, since I can't figure out who on earth I think would play me.
He told me "Audrey Hepburn"...
he always finds the best ways to BS me and make me smile.
Auntie Mame~ Hi there!! I don't know the actors name, but the guy who played Al from Home Improvement looks so much like Berry... so I guess he would be my love interest and I would be almost as happy as I am now.
Glynis, it is Richard Karn and YES HE DOES look like Berry! and he wins the sweetest man award tonight. I am humming "Moon River" now....awwwww
*****Baha Danny*****
Fantastic!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you.
Ross, I love the choice of Jennifer Tilley for Louise. I love her and after seeing Louise on the Talky Blog I can total see Jennifer Tilley with a sweet and perky voice for Louise. And just think of the sultry voice she can give to Daddy's little girl when she is older and is in love with a stud she meets at the park. Sorry, I just had to make you think of your baby all grown up.
It's a tough one on who should take on the roll of Ross.....maybe a really young Robert Redford type. I just can't think of anyone young enough with enough talent and the great looks. I think you should play yourself.
For me I would pick Bette Midler although she's a few decades older then I am. Everyone always told me I look like a taller version of her. Also my sense of humor would fit. Actually Kathy Najimy would be good or Kirstie Alley. They would still be much shorter but I always wanted to be shorter then I am.
See everyone on Monday.
John Travolta is all mine ladies (AM and GiGi) - hands off!!!! LOL
Eventhough my significant other looks like Val Kilmer - I'd still go for JT anytime!! (old high school crush I guess)
Hey Blog Buds!!
Hope you all had a good Saturday!
What a fun topic today. I have had a blast reading all the comments! Maybe we should make BLOG - THE MOVIE!!!
Then, since it will be a HUGE hit the sequel would be RETURN OF THE BLOG!!
BAJA DANNY -
Buenos Noches and Hola to Marcos! You are doing so awesome.
You and KRISTINE fr BOSTON are inspirational. I wish I had your dedication!
SMILING DAVID -
Will you come and play with us again - soon!
LYNN D -
You are Blogger of the Century in my book ;)
SEASIDELADY -
I hope today wasn't to draining today. Hugs to you.
FLOWER'S MOMMY -
If your reading, hope you are getting your strength back.
Where is BRADLEY fr VEGAS???
I can't stop humming the Fact's of Life theme song. Damn it!
Hi to all the NEW POSTERS!
Hi to the REPEAT POSTERS!
Hi to the ANON. POSTERS, too!
Oh, I just thought about it and I would play myself and then choose:
Sam Elliot
Sean Connery
Ed Harris
Vin Diesel
As my love interests.
One can dream can't one.
There you go Ross... get Vin Diesel to play you.
Hey Ross! I have finally figured out how to comment! I just love you! I just "found" you when you were on Rosie's cruise blog and now I'm hooked. I have to check your site daily. Saw you on the View and Jay Leno...awesome. You are SO sweet. I'd have to agree with Jack from Will & Grace to play you or Chandler from Friends, but nobody has your energy. Hope your feeling better!
Judy
ok, for me, if I am playing me.....
the short list
and in no particular order
Kiefer Sutherland
Jon Bon Jovi
Hugh Laurie
Julian McMahon
Craig Ferguson
Anthony Bourdain
and just because....
Michael Caine (its the accent)
Linda - how in the world did you know that John Travolta is the love of my life?? lol
I will let you have him for now though since did you claim him first and all! :o)
Alright...the person that would play my love interest would be - Jack Nicholson. I know he is 2.5 times my age, but he is still hellasexy to me! If I had to go with someone born in my century (hehe) it would be Leonardo Dicaprio or Michael Buble! Both are equally delish!
K...I can't wait to see everyone else's responses! This is too much fun!
Auntie Mame - have you seen Hugh Laurie interviewed by James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio?? He's amazing!!!!! I fell madly in lust with him! Totally know what you mean by the accent thing - Craig Ferguson does IT for me!!! OMG - he's adorable *sigh*
I don't know who would play me (other than some in-the-social-closet blogbuddies, of course). :I
But my lover would most definitely be played by Anonymous.
Not to be confused with "AnonEmus", the great drunkard vaudevillian nor "anon", the foppish thespian.
But "Anonymous". The one. The only. The original.
There's clearly a sexual tension between us. I'm sure you can all see that. Its as plain as is the nose on everyone's faces (take your noses out of the community neti pot and you'll know what I mean). :)
Yes, my co-star and love interest most assuredly would have to be "Anonymous", that stranger in the dark (yes...YOU!) who is frustrated that they can never have me ...but for upon this stage called Ross Blog.
Of course, the actual relationship would go nowhere (good that is). And it would probably end in a tragic lover's poisoning. But hey, such should be expected when you have a crazy Anonymous following you about trying to make zee luv vis vous through passive-aggressive expressions of frustrated sexual longing at a celebrity blog site.
...otherwise, I always thought that Winona Ryder (pre-felonies of course) and I would have made a real cute couple. :)
AND...what about Hugh Jackman!! *sigh, moan, drool, sigh*
My vote for blogger of the month is baja danny...I just enjoy reading his posts..second is Trey Hatfield. A few people on here..not all just a few..seem to be competing for BOTM...weird! These guys just seem have nice things to say about everyone.
I think Jennifer Aniston would have to play me! For you...yourself, of course! I also think Sean Hayes from Will & Grace would come in second!
I would have Rosie O'Donnell play me . That would be cool .
Whoa! We just had the boob tube tuned into E! and "The Soup" (rerun) - where they completely dissed Ross!
I've been wanting to see it since its been mentioned so often on the net but no one ever mentions what the p.o.v. taken was.
Whoa.
The power of the Walters!
Hi ROSS n all the BB's ok
Louise....Angelina Jolie
Ross.....(wanna say)John Travolta(but)Jon Cryer
Me.....Fred Flintstone or Alec Baldwin
Ross...I think if we could bring back Desi Arnez to play u that would rock...u remind me of him a lot in looks...:D
For me, I'd have to pick Reese Witherspoon, we are both southern belles and have a lot in common.
For my beagle, Iris, I'm thinking either Dakota or her lil sis, Elle, Fanning...I can totally see, er hear, that voice coming out of her.
Hope ur feeling better, it was nice to see ya in chat last night :D
Wait, wait, you left out Richard Gere! Oh, I wish I could have him for a birthday present . . . *sigh*
Auntie Mame WELL you vixen you!!
First choice
BON JOVI of course!!
My choice in men, over the years has never changed. I still love hunky long haired men, so anyone in JBJ's band would work for me.
I'm just an old rocker at heart.
Linda in Squamish I too have always been in love with Travolta. I have a 36 x 36 inch cardboard picture of him in my home office.I was in Suncoast store when they were taking down pics, I asked if I could have it and they said sure. It's very nice :)
Smiles all.....
Hmmm, my love interests in my life story...
Jon Bon Jovi - DUH!
Jon Cusack
Craig Ferguson
Brian Boitano (it's the thighs and ass!!)
Bruce Willis (the bald head and sardonic wit)
Michael Chiklis
Hugh Grant - (The smile, accent and English humor)
Bill - (it was mostly fun before it wasn't!)
The casting couch is open!!!
moweenie- I've met Brian Boitano. Will second your opinion on the thighs and ass there. Very nice bod. Unfortunately, I kinda don't think he'd be interested in either me or you, however. LOL.
just saw that Kevin
First time posting. This is a big test.
Courtney Cox for me.
Only Ross for Ross.
Seasidelady - lucky you to have such memorabilia - what era is the pic from??? Old Saturday Night Fever kinda thing...or newer???
Kevin T
I Will have to move you up to the top of my list of love interests. You are just too funny and I love people that make me laugh.
Hmmm... so far my love interest list is George Clooney, Noah Wyle and Andrew Dan-Jumbo (Trading Spaces).
Friends - Reese Witherspoon, Ross Mathews, Jennifer Garner
and all the blog buddies
GiGi - sorry missy - you simply sound way too young for 'my' JT!! LOL (you know, Michael Buble is from Vancouver!! - I could talk to my people...LOL)
Yes I did the Anonymous just for you Kevin T. I couldn't resist.
Auntie Mame, I just want to say thanks for reminding me about Hugh Laurie. He would top my list after Kevin T.
Ok...moving update: I called the movers and told them to wait until the AM to come get my things. I didn't feel right with 2 strange men in my house past midnight loading my things and probably disturbing my neigbors. I am sure they are nice guys, but I am a single woman and I have to look out for myself. When I called them they were still over and hour and half away and it was almost 11! They were pretty eager in accepting my suggestion. Plus I would rather that they show up rested instead of dead on their feet and not 100% while moving my things. I think it worked out best for everyone. I mean, they are already 3 days behind schedule...what is a few more hours! sheesh
So I am off to get some shut eye - big day tomorrow!
BTW....my internet won't be hooked up until Wednesday. If you guys don't hear from me you can assume that I couldn't bootleg off of anyone in my neighborhood. But I hope to see you all tomorrow night!
Til then BB's....
Welcome Judy!
Sexual Tension between Anonymous & Kevin T.....LMAO!
lil_ole_me - all of our individual lives are probably pretty boring, but if we collaborated as a blog community with all of our stories, I bet we'd have years and years of soap opera material. :) Bet you have some great stories to contribute too!
Nobody would want to play my life story, probably pretty boring to most folks!! :)
Have a great night everyone!!♥
grr--why is it that every time I respond to somebody else's comment, mine shows up on top of theirs and therefore makes no sense. Read backwards people. :)
Linda from Squamish the pic is close up, sitting at a table, cig in hand. From Pulp Fiction!!!! Mercy!...looking for a fan......
GiGi Jack Nicholson has ALWAYS had "IT".
CC GG you are very perceptive! Good!
Smiles......
Hi hartldo!
I believe you meant to say JULIE instead of Judy. Haha. If that is true, I'm LMAO because when I say my name everyone always thinks that I say Judy.
Were you talking to me? Lol
This is such a great blog! Lots of wonderful people. Peace :)
hmmm the soup that I saw more dissed barbara walters than ross. they made a comment about his voice, but the rest of it bagged on BW.. was this a different one?
TY, Baja Danny!
Glynis: OMG! I absolutely lust after Richard Karn too... he's just a prototypical bear. To see him is to want to hug him! And then slowly start to undress him! LOL!
AM: I guess I was kind of stepping on your territory! Come to think of it, don't Bea and Rosalind have similar deep voices?
Kevin T: I don't think you've ever declared your sexual orientation on the blog (not that there's anything wrong with that! LOL!), but I think you just outed yourself. In my experience, only a gay man would be so interested in anonymous sex.
and let's see... what actor would I most like to have sex with? Hmmm... Richard Karn is in the running, as is one of the stars of the 70's French film "Cousin Cousine". Ross Conrad from TWWW was kind of cute... and we've already covered Dan Blocker.
But the winner is... by a whisker (!).. the younger Brian Dennehy. Around about when "Cocoon" was released.
Any other BD fans out there?
hmmmmmmm...play me in a movie........Diane Keaton..but she'd need to dye her hair darker.....and Ross, only you could do you justice!! You are one of a kind...luv ya, kiddo!!!
AMYP -
You are too funny! You met Brian!!?? woot woot!
It looks like there might be a knock-down drag out for Jon Bon Jovi here in Blog Land!!
GI GI in SC -
Good luck with the move (finally!) And I hope your new home is filled with all things good!
Auntie Mame: Great idea~
Johnny Depp
George Clooney
Apolo Anton Ono
Antonio Banderas (met him)
Shaun Cassidy (from my younger days)
Dale Jarrett (NASCAR)
for me jamie lynn spears or amanda bynes. I love them both
I don't know which one you saw altbiscuit.
this one was from the "behind the scenes at The View segment shot for The Tonight Show.
Barbara is telling Ross to be himself... or in his case, not to be himself.
Joel McHale, the host of the Soup then completely disses Ross (left in freeze-frame, no less!).
no direct mention of Ross's voice as I recall.
That the one you saw?
moweenie - yes.. met him. There's my "six degrees of separation" to Ross in one step. I met Brian, Brian shopped with Ross in Torino.
I won't fight y'all from Jon BonJovi.
Tina in Ut- met Dale Jarrett's car once, but Dale wasn't in it at the time. LOL.
Whabbear:You never saw "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" then, I'm guessing. :D
The great thing about totally anonymous sex is that it crosses all demographic lines.
Heck, anonymous sex when its done correctly should be so anonymous that you don't even know the gender of the person in your bed!
Now THATS anonymous!
And for the record, I only play scenes with Anonymous. Its called ACTING! The love scenes are really quite technical and what with hundreds of eyes watching, not at all as sexy or romantic as some might think. ;)
nope.. that's not the one I saw on Soup.. will have to tivo it...
George Clooney, Johnny Depp....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm(just like Homer drooling over a doughnut) How could I have forgotten them.
So it looks like we are mostly agreed that Ross would have to play himself because there just isn't anyone else who could fill those shoes.
Ross, thank you for a wonderful saturday blog that has driven us all lusty.
Kristen Davis could play me, but I think we're the same age so I don't know who'd play me younger.
My son thinks Chris Tucker should play the voice of our little fox terrier.
I think Jennifer Tilly is the perfect choice for Louise. I don't know who would play you, Ross, but probably one of Donny Osmond's sons, if they can act. You look like you belong in that family tree somewhere.
lynmarie.wordpress.com
AmyP:just the fact that you met Dale's car got me excited. I've become a pro at stalking him. I probably shouldn't have said that I've met him in N.C. and in CA and he is the nicest man ever...wait...next to Ross, of course~
JPB: I'm thinking I have a fight on my hands over GC and JD??????? :)~
Tina - You take Johnny. I want George. I'm in the George fight with JPB and others too. :)
Have never been to a Dale race, but his car was "on display" at UPS here a few years ago so I took pix of the kids with the car.
Tina
I am not a fighter...
I'd wait my turn.
LOL@Kevin! Yes, I stand corrected... gay men and Diane Keaton!
Have a great night, everybody!
JPB: If you are not a fighter...that makes you a lover. Therefore...you win~ I concede~ :)~
AmyP: Take George...I'll keep Johnny~ Love that man~ I did the same thing with my kids with Kerry Earnhardt's and Bill Elliot's cars. But I think my kids thought I was crazy~
Speaking of crazy - does anyone else think it's funny that it's my anniversary and my husband is playing on the xbox and i'm on the Ross blog? I'm sitting here and just started laughing~
Happy Anniversary Tina and Mr. Tina. (Don't tell McAimee what she has to look forward to! LOL).
Calling it a night -- off to dream about the movie of my life with Melissa Gilbert and George Clooney. :) hee hee.
Tina
Happy Anniversary!!!
How many years?
It might be like most of us after a few years and a few kids.
Thanks JPB~ 17 yrs~ We went out to dinner (with the kids). We did a lot more the last two years, so I told him I didn't want to do much....but I'm still LMAO at the picture we make~
TINA in UT -
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! I wish I could have been 1st in wishing you that!!!
How about a talky blog, demo on you using the netti pot? You Tube it and it will become more popluar thatn the one on Oprah! try it and I PROMISE you will feel better!
moweenie thank you for the thoughts today.
It's 10:15pm here and I just got off the phone with my son...again.He is having a tuff time.
Monday am,a couple cities over, there was a fire.The first two county fire fighters that responded where killed in a burn over crash.
Captain Matt Burton and my son went all through school together and were very close.
He leaves a wife and two small children. One is seven,just like our Munchkin.
Life can be so damn challenging.We need to be kind to one another.
Need to go.
Tomorrow my friends.....
Tina
I'll be marking 12 in October for marriage but we've been together for 17 as of next month. He is always more likely to remember our Anny then me. I am usually caught up with the Kids' busy schedule and forget the day has come.
It's the everyday that counts.
Have a good night. I am off to have some good dreams of all of those men.... oh it's at least nice to have the choice in our dreams.
Night everyone....
especially an Anonymous good night to Kevin T. ;)
FREAKING MOTHER OF PEARL - MOWEENIE
ROFLMAO....I didn't get it at "first"...then I fell over laughing....then I tried to explain it to my husband....I should have just stayed on the floor laughing~
sean hayes would be a great ross.. and ummm i think julia roberts for me.. kinda fun kinda flirty..
Ross- i think Ben Affleck like some others. Hes not as cute but seems similar
anna- katie holmes could play you. you are too cute and your boy too.
I would want Pink to play me. not an actress but hey she could could just be herself.
okay im not there yet but aspire to it. :)
Hi LynnD - all is fine.thx
SEASIDELADY -
How tragic. Give your son and the munchkin a hug from me.
Firefighters hold a very dear place in my heart. I have a cousin that is one.
There is also a special one to me on the L.A.F.D that performed miraculous feats to save a special little boy in my life on Aug. 10, 2000. Todd is being honored and given a Medal of Valor this year for his acts of heroism.
Due to Todd (and a whole lot of doctors and prayers)Ben is a vibrant 13.5 year old today.
Sometimes, when I am at the grocery store, and there is a firefighter there buying food for the station, I pay for it. Just a little thank you for their often under acknowledged service.
Great topic... sadly for me I think Roseanne Barr but I really would prefer Gwyneth Paltrow or maybe Oprah! For you I think Dr. Phil. Just kidding. LOL I agree with everybody that says you should just do your own voice.
oh seasidelady - so sorry to hear. hope your boy is okay.
My thoughts are always with you gardening buddy. You make me smile. Who would have thought you were a rocker chick?
GiGi - Good luck in the move. Sounds exciting. The new place not the move. ;)
Kevin T - anon lover post.lmao.
Danny- your gonna hafta acknowledge my crush sometime. :) hey did i say that out loud?
I would love to say I think Ashley Judd could play me in a movie because she is so damn beautiful and such a great actress but in all honestly it would have to be Toni Collette. She is just a remarkable and wonderful actress. A real Aussie beauty!!!
To play Ross in a movie, I would have to say it would be a toss up between Sean Hayes and Ross himself!!!
Love ya Ross, katelisa
DEEZER -
I heard that!!
I was thinking of Kristen Chenowith for Louise!!
For me? Ohhhh, maybe Charlize Theron. Okay, in reality probably Roseann because "I'm a housewife and don't get to go nowhere and don't get to do nothin'."
For you Ross? Totally Sean Hayes. I...LOVE...HIM!!
My doggies have voices, too! Brutus has an German accent that sounds a lot like Peter Lorre (or for the younger crowd, Ren from Ren and Stimpy!) Lucy sounds like Marlene Dietrich, and Berta's voice would be Vivian Leigh a la Gone With the Wind.
My husband, looking thru his rose-colored glasses, says the young me should be played by America Ferrera and the older me by Catherine Zeta-Jones. I was thinking of me as a (much) larger-framed Wynona Rider!
Baja Danny, thanks for your sweet comments! And congrats on the weight loss! Thru better eating I have recently lost a bit of weight, but it's time to add exercise to the deal - my most unfavorite thing to do. I got a fun thing that teaches belly dancing that I can do at home, which is great for the rest of the world so they don't have to see me doing it!
Hope my Blog Buds are having a great weekend :)
Hey Ross!
I asked my husband who would play me. He said either Matt Damon or Chase Hunter (gay porn star and REALLY nice guy). I think Bill's lost his mind.
I think my husband Bill would be played by Ben Affleck. My sister would be played by Mo McCormick. My Mom would be played by Reba.
Anyway, take care Ross! I just love ya SOOOOOO much! Thanks for just being you! I hope I get to meet you in person someday.
You're blog buddy,
Randy :)
moweenie what a wonderful thing to do for your firefighters!
kaybee congrats on the weight loss. Like Rosie said once on her show "eat less and move more". Simple but true.
Happy Sunday everyone!
Good Morning Ross & BB
Happy Sunday Everyone :o)
Wow, great topic today Ross!
I couldn't think of anyone so I asked hubby to answer for me and he said BETTE MIDLER
She never crossed my mind, but he's right,:o)
Lacey = Barbara Streisand
Dory = Ellen Degeneres
Dory was named after Dory in Finding Nemo because she's such an curious scatterbrain.
How about Jim Carrey play you? I'm a big Carrey fan, not that I liked all his movies, but I sure do like his funny bone:o)
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
** Few people get dizzy from doing too many good turns**
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Have the best Sunday everyone!
Hugs n Smiles,♥ Lovey :o)
Whoopi Goldberg
ok so I can actually post, how odd.
I say Eobin williams or Jim Carey as Ross and Mini Driver as Louise. and Tim the guy who played the butler in "Clue" as the voice of Wilson.
Cybil Shepherd as Mom
Drew Barrymore as Daria and Naomi Judd as Kim.
I would certainly agree with CG on the husband choices and add the John Travolta to that list.
Happy Sunday Morning, Blog Buddies!
Tina~ in_ut: Happy Anniversary, one day late. Married life is so exciting! :)
Hi Julie! And WELCOME! I was actually welcoming Judy earlier but now I see you. I know I probably miss lots of people but I do try.
Lurkers or seldom-ever posters: You need to do what Julie just did. Make yourself be noticed. I'm sure no one overlooks you on purpose.
Have a great day everyone!
Linda in Squamish...that would be great. See what you can do about hooking me up with Buble.
SEASIDELADY - You have excellent taste. Jack has made me swoon since I first learned how! lol
moweenie - thanks for the well wishes! very sweet
Signing off for the day....keep me in your thoughts!
(and keep the movers in your thoughts too - cause I am wanting to hurt them pretty bad right about now!)
Peace Out - TTFN
yes, someone said Jimmy Fallon should play you and I totally agree. As for me, I guess Katie Holmes, I've been told we look alike. And I'm soooooooooo glad ur obsessed with Big Brother cause it's all I wanna talk about! I think you should pop into chat and we can all gossip about it :) Have a great weekend!!
k.d. lang would play me
Bobbi Jo: Love John and Kate Plus 8. Honestly, she is so organized and together to handle so many young children. Love John, he just goes with the flow. They are amazing.
Good Morning BB's,
Hope it's a great leisure day for everyone!
I'm playing out a past birthday memory watching le Tour de France making it's way to Champs-Elysees.
Some years back, went on a driving vacation with Scottish cousins through Scotland, England & France for 2 weeks. They dropped me off just outside Paris & continued on to Germany. By train went into Paris for my last vacation day being my birthday. Had no idea about the race until I arrived there! The race finished that day which ended up an exciting addition which I can watch and relive the memory! Almost like having a documentary of my birthday with pictures of the countryside, the castles, Eiffel Tower & a whole lot of celebrating!
I thought it was so nice of them to arrange this cast of thousands for my Birthday that year!!! Yearightsure!!!
Enjoy your Sunday everyone!
Kaybee....your dogs voices/accents story was too cute! I will have to think of who could do the voice for my 4.5 yr old, very neurotic Cocker Spaniel named Sydney.
Congrats on your weight loss. I feel the same way about exercising from home. To my friend that invites me to the gym I say, "Look, I don't wanna see all this jiggling around...why would subject anyone else to seeing it?!?" LOL Best of luck with the belly dancing! sounds fun
BTW...STILL waiting for the movers. They are now 3 days and 2.5 hrs late.....And GiGi is NOT happy!
I, too, love watching Jon and Kate Plus 8. But...sometimes the way Kate talks to Jon is just awful. I can't imagine talking to anyone like that, much less my husband. He is easy going but I think he needs to at least talk back to her when she treats him like that.
The part of Ross should be played by Richard Simmons.
Whabear,
I love that you and I have the same taste in men! LOL
Richard Karn. I always found "AL" sort of sexy with that beard, and all those flannel shirts. Brian Dennehy...also a good choice, and he always reminds me of my favorite, Brian Keith.
You know, the guy who played "Uncle Bill" from the show, "Family Affair".
He was in his 40s when he was in the movie, "The Parent Trap". And even though I was probably 5 when I first saw that(on a rerun), I was in LOVE with him!
=^..^= ®
not to be confused with that triangular whiskered cat!
I think that Jamie Lee Curtis could play me and...don't be mad but, Pee Wee Herman could play you. I think he would be good because of the hair thing and all of his energy. Where is he anyway? I know you could play him. 2nd choice is the Edward Sissorshands actor, can't think of his name...my coffee hasn't kicked in yet.
Love you much,
Judy
Hmmm... because I am super tall, I'd have to go with Liv Tyler. Also, she is the only famous person I sorta kinda resemble - if you squint.
Um, couldn't you play you?? You're like... famous ;)
~~~Happy Sunday Morning!!~~~

Mame Great idea about the lover part. People have told me that my husband looks a lot like Kevin Costner, so I guess I should pick him. Although, I'd also settle for....George Clooney, JBJ, Chris Isaak (hubby grew up with him and we know him, he's a crack up), Antonio Banderas, Johnny Depp, a YOUNG Robert Redford... OMY the list could go on and on.

Seasidelady my thoughts are with your son. My niece is a firefighter in Reno. She's been battling those blazes for a couple weeks. She's exhausted. It's a tough life.

ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY!! I'm doing laundry all day. uggggg

~~Hello, I'm Sandy and I'm a RossnRosieaholic~~

Good morning everyone,

I tried and tried to post last night, but the FOAD monster chewed me up and spit me out!

Tina - Congrats on your anniversary! The picture of XBox and Rsoo Blog was priceless!

Seaside & Moweenie - Y'all can always bring the topic back around to JBJ! :o)

Whabbear - As always, you crack me up!

Danny - Congrats on a glorious accomplishment!

I am determined to clean the bejeebeez out of my house today. I'll follow Lynn D's lead and reward myself with blog breaks!

Have a great Sunday!
t

Ross, I spent the whole night trying to think of who could play me. The best I could come up with was Helen Mirren now (I'm 60, not overweight, just thicker in the middle and gravity's taking a toll, and my hair is getting more white every day.)

AnnaTMc - you're a Debra Winger type (like in the Officer & a Gentleman era).

Catching up on the last few days of comments...

I LOVE SYTYCD. I missed Wed and couldn't find links to some of the dances, but I like Danny, Pasha, Lacey & Sabra, and I'd like to see them in the final 4. I don't care who wins.

Haven't read Jokers for 24 hrs so don't know what's going on in the house, but if ED goes home, it would sure be boring.

My daughter's doing payroll on Dexter and will go back to Dirt in Sept (she did it last year), and did pilots inbetween. I went to work with her one day when she was working on the ABC lot and spent time sitting between her building & the commissary with my book. The cashier told me everyone on GH is wonderfully nice and friendly, especially Elizabeth. And she said everyone on Grey's Anatomy is great except McSteamy. She said he's a jerk. I got a tour of GA's sets (they weren't shooting on the lot that day), and one of my favorite pix is my daughter & I sitting at Joe's bar. I need to put the pix on myspace, plus my recent Puerto Vallarta pix (with male strippers & female impersonators).

Diane, thanks for the Soaps.com link. Loved catching up on my soaps (I watch all 3 ABC ones and like GH best). Back in the 70's I lived in West Hollywood and met Nancy Grahn (Alexis) at a neighbors. She was really fun (and let me feel her boobs as I was thinking about plastic surgery). I'm 60 - and she's not much younger than I am. (50 per IMDB.com)

Okay, if we are going to dream about who could play us in a movie, I'll pick for Angelina Jolie. I had dark hair and blue eyes at one time. I don't think we can tell what kind of personality most celebrities have in real life. When they are playing a role, it's nothing like they are in reality. Mostly they are very insecure. I'll bet Ross could tell us some juicy stories!

Does anyone have a great recipe for grilling shrimp? I prefer one with lots of garlic. Wild extra jumbo shrimp are on sale, and I bought 2 lbs. I tried grilling them unpeeled like I had in Mexico, but mine were real hard to peel. There was a squid in the bag - major yuck! And I had to remove the heads. I'm not sure I really want to go through all that again. It was hard to eat them after having to dehead them with a papertowel. Anyway, if any of you have good recipes, I'd love to have them.

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope GiGi's movers showed up and that Flower's Mommy is doing okay. And everyone else, too!

Catching up on the overnight chat. Who'd play my dogs?

Elisabeth Hasselback would have to play Dumpling. She's a 4 lb long coat chihuahua with a big mouth. She's yappy, starts fights, wants to be alpha dog, barks when playing, barks at any living thing that walks past any window, and sometimes I think she might be better off in an only dog home.

I have to ponder the other 3.

All my pets have edible names. The dogs are Cocoa Puff, Tidbit, Tootsie Roll and Dumpling. The birds are Duckie and Tater.

I would say Carrie Fisher, because she shares my sardonic outlook. I'd never be the bubbly lead, but always the wise-cracking friend. Ross - no one could play you, but you could play Paul Lynde in his life story. I love you, my dear.

Happy Sunday Morning Blog Buddies!

Whabbear: Brian Dennehy Rocks!

Itsmecat: Brian Keith always had a crush on him

One of my all time favs James Garner. Rockford files!

Who would play Mr. Lynn D and other lovers??? LMAO

Mr. Lynn D maybe Dustin Hoffman.

others: Johnny Depp, Hugh Grant, Tom Selleck, Al Pacino...

See a recurring theme here? I am partial to dark haired men and dark haired men with facial hair! Whoooh just had a hot flash!!!!!ROFLMAO

Peace everyone!

Good mornin', gang!

Today's TOPIC OF THE DAY will be posted shortly and is an extension of Saturday's topic. Fun!

Oh, and my fav new thing to do is to compare IP addresses and to find out who all the "Anonymous" peeps are.

Rrrrreally gives me some insight and helps me get to know you blog buddies better!

:) :) :)

I know who all you Anonymous's are!!!

:)
Ross

I also John & Kate plus 8. You are so right she does talk to him very rude at times and he just puts up with it and rolls his eyes. I could never do what she does I have 3 boys and I am not that organized. She washes her floor 3 times a day. I think they need a dog lol.

Linda in Ft Worth,
Love the names of your pets!!! Add another bird & you can name it Tot!!

I like the EH choice. Description -- excellent!!

I'm tied with AMC & GH. OLTL fills in the middle!! It was having to find info on Kendall & Zack that I found the site, so it's new to me too! LOL at your Alexis story.

Woot Woot!! GO ROSS!!!

Rosster,
That's like playing with Mother Nature & you know that's not nice. Now you will have people asking who they are!!!

Please post in a written or talky re your decision to keep your yard private. We understand but many people still ask. I understand you mentioned in chat but others that read or listen to you, have no idea.

Thanks
Have a great Sunday!!

Ross you shouldn't go out to eat so much. Even the dishes that apper to be a healthy choices are high in fat & calories at a restaurant.

I also love soaps.com great site AMC, OLTL & GH are my favorite. I would love to go to Florida for SUPER SOAP WEEKEND but cant afford it but one day I will be there.

SF - Thanks, but I'm a big boy! I ask for the fatty things to be taken out. "I'll have the whatever salad, but can you do light cheese and no candied pecans and no dried fruit and balsamic on the side? Thanks!"

Don't worry about me, SF. Just worry about yourself!

:)
Ross

YEAH!!!!! ROSS!!!!!
Finally. :D

So who's the Anonymous who hates me so much? :(

I can take it. :) I've had my little feelings hurt before here. :)

Tina~ in_ut:Congratulashuns on zeventeen years az a marreed voman. It iz vary nize I am zertain for you. But at a zertain point, (this is how you say it? "point"?) in any marriahj, mon Tins~ in_ut, it iz time for a vife - or a hoosband for zat matter - to begin to have a string of anonymous loverz. Many, many anonymous loverz. Perhapz you turn to a few now, too? No? A marriahj needs to remain, oh, how you say, "all hot-to-trot". Perhapz you may need a caring, shgentle firzt lover to guide you into a life of many many anonymous loverz. A beautiful voman such as yourself and, what is this you call "xbox"? it is a game I am thinking? ought not compete for zee attenziones of any man - evan your own hoosband! So you take the loverz! Yes? Such vill keep your marriahj most happy. Perhaps zee Prinz Frédéric von Anhalt? He iz alvays looking for zee loverz. He drives all around zee villagez looking for zee loverz. And hiz Zsa Zsa does not mind now that she can no longer...mind, zat iz. Yes, zee Prinz iz joost vhat you need there in that Ootah vhere you live. Vishing you many yearz of happy marriahj...und many many anonymous loverz to keep zohz marriahj firez z'burning! Oh, und tell zat hoosband of yourz to get off zee xbox und to remember he haz a how you say? smokey...no, zat not right...a smolderingly sensual voman az hiz vife - a voman who could have many many of zee loverz if he don't straighten up.

SEASIDELADY: Firefighters are like astronauts (without the diapers, of course). WHERE they come from, I have no clue. I mean, they have like some extra humanitarian gene or a hidden bone of bravery somewhere within their anatomy. Not too far, in Charleston, SC, as some might know was a bizarre tragedy in which a bunch of firefighters died - for sofas! They got trapped in an inferno. And, well, let me tell you, it was as it should be, one of the worst days in South Carolina history (and we started the Civil War, just to keep it in perspective). I think that EVERYONE should run by their local fire station right now (I'll wait) and say or do something extra super nice for the firefighters and the station house a whole. Bring a fruit basket, perhaps. :) Oh, they may make sexy calendars but those people are unlike we common humans who mope along the earth compared to them.

Back to casting for ME:D : I would give a call backs to:
George Clooney but we'd real have to hammer out the Speedo situation. he's got the seduction thing down but I'm not sure he's physical enough in a particular way.
Russell Crowe - but he couldn't throw a telephone at anyone (such would not be in "my" character :) ). But he does has a certain bliminy-hey-ho-thrust about him that has shades of me. And he'd have to comb his hair.
I agree with others, Johnny Depp could probably best serve to bring my full range of Kevin T. to life. But it couldn't be a "Timmy Burton Johnny Depp".
I don't know, I have to keep thinking about this.

Only Ross could play Ross. As for me, I would want Rosie to play me.

Diane_medee - Thanks for asking Ross that about the yard. :)
LOL

AmyP

You go Ross. Noone should tell you how to eat.

Kevin T - you are so funny. Love all of your views on things. :)

Kevin T:
Does that mean Tina's husband to be "all hot-to-trot", he should possess handcuffs, a car & not much else of anything???

Regarding 09:31:11 post, was that really Ross? I never know anymore. The link just went back to the blog page. Just curious.

Shirley,
I believe it was Ross. I don't see where anyone else could use the URL to NBC/rossblog.

I don't know whether the URL issue has been fixed. I don't have a myspace so I can't try it.

I'm happy it retains your personal info again as that was a problem eithr Friday or yesterday. Having to re-enter each post was the pits.

AmyP: Here's hoping!!!! My post was prior to SF.

I don't understand all the techno lingo -- how does the IP address work? If you can tell who posts all this stuff, isn't there a way to ban those IP addresses from posting (i.e. that annoying whiney guy who comes on occasionally whose name starts with R)?
Are you going to "out" or confront all of the anonymous people? That could be amusing.

Good Morning Ross and Fellow Blog Buddies!

Well, I just love Johnny Depp as an actor. He is such a versatile performer. With that said, I would love for Johnny Depp to play me in the movie about my life, even though I am a female. I know he could pull it off because he is so good at his craft!!

Good Morning from beautiful Victoria British Columbia. It is a glorious mid-summer day. We get the warmth here but rarely do we get hot days. Come visit.
This is the first time I saw Ross write on the blog.
Linda- I laughed out loud when I read your reference to Elizabeth H playing your dog. How fitting!!!!!!

oooooh Ross is "matlocking" love it!

happy sunday peeps.. I'm hoping the rain will stay away for the indigo girls show at the botanical garden.. which should be a fantastic venue, cept when it's wet.. then it's icky..
So, I hope everyone has a fantastic sunday!
wheeeeeee

tt: TY!

Ross: LMAO! Now, can we get full disclosure? And looking forward to the TOTD continuation... this one has been great fun!

itsmecat and Lynn D: Looks like we have a Dennehy quorum! Shall we start combing the filthy back alleys of the internet for "Dennehy does Dallas" or "Brian broaches Boston"?

On a more serious note, I so agree with Moweenie and Kevin and Seaside Lady about our firefighters. And our police, and paramedics (like Bill LH), really all the individuals who populate the professions that put them in harm's way (by harm, I mean both physical and mental) on our behalf.

Even as I loll around in my diaper, indulging in my new hobby of drinking Bloody Mary's before 10 AM while thumbing through catalogs for specials on wire cutters and watching my new video, "Federal Employees: How to Embezzle Funds and Influence people", I send A big Sunday Salute to you all!

I'll be seeing some of SF's finest at the Dore Alley fair this afternoon in the South of Market district. The fair is definitely for lovers, not for fighters, so hopefully all will be safe.

Hello BBs - I have been AFK for a week, and I really missed checking in on this blog the most. I watched the DVR and saw Ross' segment on the View. Hilarious.

Ross - For you I would like all of the suggestions above (EXCEPT Martin Short - he just bugs me for some reason) but probably Matthew Perry the most.

As for me, I think I would pick Kathy Najimy. She plays funny, smart and sexy really well, and I think I look a little like her. At least enough for her to play me in the movie of my life.

Can't wait for today's TOTD.

Sara H,
What's "AFK"?

diane - don't know if Sara is still here or not, but AFK means "away from keyboard"

Thanks AmyP. I was trying 'absent from .... and could not fill in the blank.

Ross,
I hope that you are having a good start to your morning. I am Looking forward to the topic of the day.

Love it Ross...getting all Cagney & Lacey!!!
I think Eric should play you.
Sally Field could play Mom_Ross.
Louise so loving should have Whoopi Goldberg,Roseanne or even Rosie...some smart sassy female comic...Kinda like Look who's Talking
:lol: :lol: :lol:
After all she takes after her Daddy!

On Demand has Ross on Soup Talk too.

About the anonymous people out there. I haven't read anything that bad. So they don't like ALL the things Kevin has to say..Who cares..You always tell people to skip over him if they don't like reading..so skip over the anonymous too. so are you going to hate me now?? I don't HATE Kevin BTW. I just skip over him sometimes... Just like I skip over some of you and you can skip over me. We all have something in common...We Love ROSS!!
Oh, I did sign my name as anonymous once.

Diane Keaton...I love her! She's a bit older than I, but there's no one like her.

Ross, You're so entertaining and I love tuning in...

AmyP, hartldo, t time: Thanks for the Happy A~ We really did have a nice, quite day~

OMG KEVIN T. I've read it three times and can't stop laughing. I hav bean tinking aboot taking anonymous loverz, but I'm afraid it vud be too mush trubel. I tink I vill leafe zat up to you dahling~

Diane-medee: lol - don't worry...Mr. Tina~ IS hot-to-trot, but we got rid of the handcuffs years ago~ We are getting a new van...what can we do with that?

tinkatia: I want to visit you. Love, Love, Love Victoria~ Honeymooned there~

Tina~ in_ut,
You might want to check with Kevin T. to see if he has any spare faux fur or shag carpet he might want to part with!! (LOL) Now that he is the 'speedo' fashionisto, he may not have the need for them anymore. The floor & walls of the new van may need accessorizing!!

ROSS-Good morning, you little snooper! I often wondered if you could uncover the anons.Sounds like fun! Kisses for you and little LOUISE!

Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts and yes our fire fighters are very special people.

GiGi in ???? No violence now.At least not until all glass ware has been moved.Good luch girl!

Sara good to see you are back :)

Smiles........

in the movie of my life..

me- sandra bullock (she's gonna have to pack on a few pounds though)or butter says rosie o'donnell
butter- alyson hannigan or amber benson
the mother-out-law (butter's mom) olymia dukakis in her steel magnolia style
father-out-law: william H. Macy
my mother- maxine from the hallmark greeting cards
my dad- steve martin
Andy- robin williams
sul- patricia arquette
Ross- we would want him to play himself but if not, jake gyllenhall

anyone tell me when he posts his blog on sundays?

Happy Sunday am

Oh my, our power went out yesterday at 2:10p.m., and was still out when we went to bed - came back on at 1:09a.m., then went off again and didn't come on until after 5am. - SO, no computer, tv, etc - amazing how those things have taken over our life!!!

Just got caught up on my "reading" - lots going on in Rossland!!! :-)

later,
me

People would tell me Rosie O.

I've been told I remind people of her. As she says, "Not to insult you or anything... LOL"

I'd prob play myself cuz... "I gotta be me!"

MEK,
Yikes! When the power is out that long, you have to start worrying about all the food in your fridge and freezer. I hope nothing melted!
And then there is the whole bathroom/water issue.

=^..^=
p.s. The last time our power was out for a long time it was off for over 3 days. Big storms...not fun!

chromedragon - blogs get posted at various times, but usually by mid-day. Ross told us (3 hours ago) that the new blog would post "shortly." (Apparently his idea of "shortly" and my idea of "shortly" are not the same. LOL.).
Patience is not my best virtue. :)

Cat - even though we never opened the fridge door - the milk did spoil - so I threw out all the milk, eggs, cottage cheese, etc. - and off to the grocery store we went!!! I was worried about that ALL night!! Butcher said freezer stuff should be okay - might just get some "burn" on it!!!

We also were without AC - so we were thankful that the rain dropped the temps down. It was muggy and humid and just down right nasty -

we had flash flooding thru out the community - but seems that all is well today.

hope everyone is having an excellent day!!! :-)

Ross-Don't "out" the anons. It's fun to tease them but to call them out would be mean and that's not you! Your a little sneaky thing :)

Loved the reference to EH playing a snippy dog. haha There was an article in the NY Post about her...funny .

Have a great day everyone!

PS, to Cat..

our water and electric do NOT run on the same company - SO, we did have water - I was worried about the "toilet" thing also - (it was like that in Colorado - everything ran on the same) - but Mr. MEK was quick to point out that we would be OKAY!!! :-)

Go Ross!!

~~~ScrappysMOM For BOTM!! Stomp!!
This Friday Tiffany at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk giving a free concert!!
AmyP,
Tag -- you're it. You said it first!!!
I haven't got a handy dandy dictionary to know what 'shortly' means in LA language! (LOL) Might be similar to when I getaroundtoit?
MEK: Wow! That's an outage that went a little too long for comfort!
I have friends in the Montreal area who endured the ice-storm-induced outage several years ago (that one lasted up to a week in some places).
It was fascinating to talk to them about how quickly the novelty wore off, and life started to to get downright difficult.
I wonder if ChiptheMedic was there for it?
OK, off to the fair! Have fun with the Sunday ToTD, BB's!
Have Funny Whabby. I'm sure it will be a Blast.......off!!
Sunday blog up
Good Day Ross and bbs.
1downmama-"i gotta be me"-awesome
Seasidelady-thinking of you sweety.
Moweenie-shh dont tell Baja.
whabbear- hobbies are good ;)
Lynnd-just want to say hi cause you're sweet.
Welcome Mamaw!
so i tried Big Brother chat. Too fun. seems my sense of humor comes across better in chat than blog. Im no Kevin T.
KevinT- I search for your blog each day. They are the best. glad i finally got your sense of humor. thought you were mocking me at first so patience with peeps until they get your humor. oh if you were mocking me, it was still darn funny. ;)
Ross
If you couldn't play yourself (come to think about it no one HAS ever played themselves, that I remember) I would vote for Nathan Lane (skinnier tho) but that really wouldn't work cuz he's older, he is fantastically talented and funny and cute tho!
Ross - David Schwimmer or Paul Reuben
Me - Jaqueline Smith
Diane - sorry, I was "Away From Keyboard" - I was on vacation visiting a friend, and just had no time at all to even get on the internet. It's a good thing to live in the 3-D world when I can. But I missed this blog.
Amy P. (Pepper) - Thanks for answering. Sometimes I forget that I should be writing everything out. Someday we will all end up talking in abbreviations only.
Seasidelady - It's good to be back.
Shirley and Gigi,
Thanks for the kind comments and encouragement :)
I love my blog buddies!
