Happy Monday, blog buddies!

Did you watch me on Celebrity Fit Club last night? Didya didya? I did and it's really starting to get good. Keep watching, though, because it just gets better!

On another note...

Witness panic time when my new couch arrives and is a bit more... FREAKIN' HUMUNGOUS than I thought it would be.

And, finally, send your BLOGGER OF THE MONTH nominations to me at: rosstheintern@yahoo.com.

Until tomorrow, blog buddies!

It's me, Mom

No time at work to enter my name! Send me a picture- I can't see the video at work! xoxo

It is going to be OK - You can think of rearranging your living room (possibly many times) as your workout for the day! You are looking great BTW - If I lived in the LA area I would love to help you out! And remember, it is NEVER to early to drink! Good luck!

The couch doesnt look too big--/Can I make you a vase? Any color at all--

Nice Couch. I am sure you will figure something out.

Peace

Calm down! You really seem so stressed over this.

It will work out and will look fantastic when you're done.

Next time you will know to take measurements but this time - you CAN make it work.

Louise is soooo cute! She just loves you!

Ross...no worries. Rearranging furniture can be a workout for sure but once you get it done, you're going to totally love it!! And just think, you'll have a wonderful new beast of a couch to flop down on while you sip your celebratory iced Starbucks. Enjoy.

Relax! It'll all work out.

You will make it work Ross! I had the exact same thing happen to me a few months back and after moving the room around several times it fit and works and is super comfortable. Remember you will look back at this and laugh at some point. It will turn out beautiful...just like you...agh, Beauty and the Beast! Go to Starbucks and get energized and take on the Beast.

Fish, thank you very much. I really appreciate that.

I am just getting weary of posting responses and then losing them to the foad monster. I have tried JNO's suggestion to open another window, and it works once in a while. I really enjoy posting as well as lurking- but geez, I feel like a dog that keeps getting beat down with a stick.

Congrats to everyone losing or at least adjusting their lifestyle to be healthier.

Hey, Ross- You should check out the last post from yesterday. It looks like someone who maybe went to school with you. I would hate for you to miss out on a long-lost friend!

Ross,

Breathe, buddy. The Beast is awesome. It's just a minor glitch but it'll work out fine.

Louise cracks me up. What a wonderful little friend.

I am really into Celebrity Fit Club. Never thought I would be but gave it a shot because you were in it. Now I'm hooked. Your facial expressions say it all. Congrats on your progress!

Peace & All Good!

Ross
You crack me up. I'm sure you will find the perfect arrangement for "the beast." And remember, it is never too early to drink...it's 5:00 somewhere or so the song goes!

Barb

ps-You are too cute when you are frustrated!

Forgive me my little chuckle, glad it's not me!

i bought a hu-mon-gus lizard green sofa sectional one time. Family went beserk when it was delivered. lol@ remembering it. We called it 'the dragon'. Don't stress Ross, enjoy. It'll all work out Looking forward to the v-blog of the final results.

relax it will work out if not go get an interior designer or better yet go get the FAB5 they will make it all beautiful

Ross try drawing it out first sometimes people have a easier time seeing what fits where. I am one of those people that can see rooms done before anyone so that quick tour you did the room done in my mind. HA !Good luck can't wait to see if it was done my way~! tootles~!! Oh PS!!! LOVE the CFC Brat sure had Dustins number he was there for camera time and to be the so called Drama Queen of this season.

I'm in college, furniture that doesn't match/fit is the story of my life! Of course, it was all also free...

Good luck! My parents have a huge sectional, but they have theirs in two pieces and have an end table between the sections. Sectionals are quite versatile.

Oh! I so wish I could help you rearrange your livingroom! I LOVE doing that. It will look awesome when you get it all set up! And you don't HAVE to keep it all in one piece if you don't want to!!

I have definitely been in your position, though! Several years ago, hubby and I went to buy a ne entertainment center. We found one that was beautiful. Solid oak, with glass and lights to show off nick knacks, etc. This thing is 4 seperate pieces, 2 of the pieces were corner shelf thingies. We got it home, and I could NOT fit it in any spot it my living room!! I spent a couple days arranging and rearranging, until I figured out where to put the seperate pieces. I still have it, but I use it as 4 separate shelves now, instead of one huge one.

Good luck Ross! Can't wait to see a photo...or 2 :)

Ross,
I'm sure once you figure where things will go it will be better, you think it's bigger only because it's new, trust me, I got new funiture a while back and I freaked out too, but after a while it looks like it always belonged.
Don't worry, it will be fine, take a deep breath.

Awww man a new talky blog and I have to leave for work in 3 minutes! I'll have to watch later. :0( Hope everyone is having a fine day!

Ross, it will be fine. Really....I mean it

Hey Ross!
I am a first time poster - have been lurking forever - but just had to pop on and say you are all over! Friday night, Sunday night, not to mention the talky blog - I love it! I am hanging at home recouping from knee surgery last Friday and this is the first time I've been able to get to the computer...have to catch up on the blog.

I am ready to do the bloggers get fit - especially since my knee dr said my poor knee is 20 years older than I am! Ouch! That makes my knee almost ready for social security! I have the motivation now - must get knee in shape, must not be fat - and watching you on Fit Club wil help I know.

Talk at ya later!
DonnaW

Hey Ross, the beast looks great!! Calm down, and I'm sure it will all work out fine.

If gas wasn't so damn expensive, I would come down to help you. :)

Can't wait to see the new living room, I know it will be wonderful!!

Hey everyone, I don't have cable. Is there somewhere online that I can watch CFC?

Ok Ross - first of all you can not put the TV against that small wall under the mirror or picture. It would block the flow of traffic. Bad idea.

Leave the TV where it is, diagonal in the corner by the railing. Leave the section that is near the window there and just bring the section that is near the railing to form an L, almost creating a hallway with the back of the couch. Put that square table in front as a coffee table. But the comfy looking recliner will have to go to another room or another home.

Good luck. I'm sure whichever arrangment you decide on will be just as fabulous as you!

OMG! ROFLMAO@ROSS with the BEAST!!

The Beast is awesome! You and your friend will have no problem figuring out where the couch fit.....Enjoy. I know I did watching you FREAK!! Looked like Wee Wee is freaking right along beside you!!!

If you guys can't figure it out give me a call, I'll come over and help you out. But I'm sure you guys will do fine!

Hey Ross the couch looks beautiful and I am sure you will find the perfect spot for it! Also its good for your chi to move furniture have a new look in a room. Also once you move all that furniture you wont have to go to the gym as that will be a workout! Think of the good things! Like how awesome it iwll be on thursday to have a super comfy couch to lounge on watching Greys Anatomy, Ugly Betty and so on!

Dont stress I am sure it will look awesome have a drink and have fun!! Have an awesome monday :)

Happy Monday Blog Buddies!!

Oh, Ross - I TOTALLY feel your pain!! I sure hope you are successful in your rearranging!!

Here's my "beast" story - Mr. MEK and I bought a new couch and love seat for our new home in Colorado - didn't seem so big at the store - when it was delivered - they couldn't even get it in the doorway of our house - they took the door off the hinges, took the couches all apart (had recliners on ALL sides of both pieces) got the darm thing in the house - IT DIDN'T FIT ANYWHERE!!! SO, they had to take it back, and we were charged a 15% restocking fee!! I learned a VERY valuable lesson to ALWAYS take a measuring thingy with me when I want to purchase furniture!!!
Bless your heart!!!

AND, it's NEVER to early to drink!!!! LOL

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day. It's getting hot in the desert!!

Looks like you have some options based on the spinning Vlog. It will look great when you are finished. Change is usually good my friend ~ embrace it.

Riddle:
What do you call Ross Mathews sitting on his new couch?

Answer: Beauty and the Beast

Hi ross!!! Love the couch! I am sure you will figure it out. Can't wait to see a picture! Is louise always hyper like that?? HAHA!!! I want a little doggie now....

Happy Monday all!!!

Ross- thanks for another v-blog. I did get a little dizzy though. Anyways, the couch will be fine. I'm sure you will figure something out. Let it be your workout for the day.

Poppy- Love the Beauty and the beast post!

Goldie- Sorry the FOAD monster keeps getting you!

Newbies- Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I always like to say... "you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!" you are looking great! keep up the good work!

Ross honey - breathe! LOL Get some sliders - at a home depot, target or walmart - they will make it so that you can move that furniture with one hand. I swear. I use them all the time - It will look great!! That's the name of them and they come in packs of four. good luck sweetie! Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face! ~Stacey

Hey Ross!
Your pup had my pup barking. They were chatting with each other!

I love to rearrange furniture! I would help too but alas I'm in Canada! WHEN you finish you will feel great in your newly arranged living room. It will feel fresh and new.

Have an apple martini and get to work! :-)

Ross GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK your going to need it i can see whats going on your telling your self this is going to be fun and ok but i can see in your eyes your thinking im going to die but you no what you well make it and good luck again!!

Oh Ross, How did it go with the Beast? I'm sure it will work out. I did the same thing when my husband and I bought our first home, I was so excited we ran out and bought all new furniture, without measuring...OOPS
It all worked out (kinda).

Ross, at least you got the couch inside your house. Try having to break the door frame just to get a couch in the living room. I'm sure it will look perfect when your done. Good Luck!

Ross! My husband and I are the same way!!

We have a tiny place and we bought a big blue sofa
When they brought it in
i thought it looked like a monster..................
My husband keeps moving it around

Good luck
you will luv it once its placed in the spots that are just home sweet home

xoxo

PEACE&LOVE to all Ross fans*

Ross Love the new couch. Im sure you will figure it out. I love to rearrange the furniture but the house we are renting now is kinda old so its limited on electrical outlets so that kinda makes it tough to rearrange but we are getting a new house actually buying one sooooo ill be able to do that more...lol I know doesn't take much to amuse me:)

Oh yes im so excited. Remember how the other day I said that all we had near me is a CURVES........Well I was in town today and i happened to look and there is a new shopping center and its going to have a 24/7 gym that is openeing in 2 weeks...im so so so excited....lol

Well guys hope you all are having a great day i better go since ive wrote a book already!

Holly

The moral of this story: Sometimes big sexy beasts, can really be a pain!

My sister is one of those who can see a finished room before anyone else and it sounds like some of your bloggers have that talent as well. I have to draw it out.

It looks like you do have the room there though.. as they say on Project Runway Ross, "Make it work!" :)

Ross,
First of all congrats on your 15lb. weight loss on the show that aired last night..

I kind wondered when you announced u got a sectional. Those things do take up lots of room.
I'm sure u can get it all worked out.
One thing to remember when you go shop for furniture..
TAKE A TAPE MEASURE.. :]

Happy Monday back Ross.

Hugs to all
caralee

Your couch looks great. It'll work out. I love the video blog
but everytime Louise barks, our dogs bark. What is she saying? It must be something, because Coco and Baby (the pugs) bark and turn their heads to look at me!
I think she said "A big pillow for ME and one for DADDY!"

Hi everyone!

The couch is beautiful! You'll figure it out!

Just a question...If you don't use your air conditioner won't you stick to the leather couch? hmmmmm ha

Love the talky blogs!

I think you'll do fine rearranging! Usually it seems like a big chore, but things always seem to come together. We've rearranged our apartment many times and it's always exciting to see how much extra space you can come up with. With our new setup, we've literally doubled the size of our living room - amazing! If I didn't have to finish my thesis (half done!) and if I didn't live in Idaho, I'd come help :D

Hey everyone ~

Ross thanks for another V-blog - I love them! It really lets us see your great personality and more of YOU! Not that the other way is not good and the photos...

anyway - I hope that you are able to figure out and re-arrange your livingroom to accommodate your beast! I cannot wait to see the photo's! I live in Indiana, but know if I lived close enough I would come and help you in a heartbeat - you are a Gem of a person!!

Bless little Louise's heart - she just loves you soo much! That is too darn cute.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Ross, its ok. Your couch looks soooo comfy. And I just know everything will work out. Have a great rest of the day.

Happy Monday Ross, Louise, and Bloggin Pals! :O)

Thanks for the Blog Ross. What a scream you are. LOL
LOL @ the couch is too big and you in panic mode. :O)

Do you ever have a beautiful set of teeth Ross. Love em.

You made me dizzy moving the camera around, LOL.
And LOL at Beautiful Little Louise barking. It was an
absolute hoot the way you kept grabbing your head. LOL

LOL @ is it too early to start drinking. Heck No! LOL
It's gotta be noon somewhere. LOL

I have Tyra and May 3rd written on the bathroom mirror. LOL

Love ya Ross. Keep Our Old World Laughing. Karen. xo

Hey and Hugs to All. Have a great Day! :O)

Be gentle I'm new at this blog thing but I had to let you know that the "beast" is awsome!! Also, being from Nebraska, I can tell you that it is TRUELY 5 o'clock somewhere!!! Cheers to you Ross!!!

Nebraska Newcomer

Where do you live in NE?? I am a transplant to AZ from Omaha, NE.

Ross, I was getting dizzy watching the v-blog. Your house looks awesome. Your fridge looks like mine...all covered with magnets, etc.

I haven't seen the CFC episode for this week, but I did go out to Utube and watch your video with Steve Irwin. Your weight loss really is obvious after watching it.

The beast will soon turn into the beauty. The ending plug for the blog is cool.

Hi Ross,
I'm sure you'll do just fine with "the beast". You will probably be happier with your livingroom once you get it the way you want, and the beast will be a great addition!! Keep smiling :)
Hugs!

Goldie, please don't give up. Keep trying to post.
Sooner or later it has to work for you. And get back in chat!!!

It looks great!! What if you kept one portion against the rail, and brought the other one into the open space, like an "L"? I think we've all done that, so it is kind of funny...I can relate!!

Hi Ross

I was laughing myself silly over The Beast. I have been there, done that. My Korean apartment is tiny and has a small recessed space in the wall. I brought a couple of pieces of furniture. One was functional and the other (functional) I brought because I LOVED it - an antique tibetan chest which I thought would go perfectly in the niche! They brought in that Tibetan chest and I freaked - it was HUGE ... double the width of the niche and stuck out so far i couldn't open the door! It didn't look like that in the shop! So ... Ross ... I KNOW ... :)

It now sits in my spare room (and looks great)! You have room for your sofa and it will look excellent.

Ross...take a deep breath...maybe three....It will be OK! The couch is beautiful!

I love the talky blog...so much so I would love to see one everyday!

Hi everyone have a great night, Im off to baseball with the kids!

Cassie

Slow deep breath's and RELAX! Then call Nate...LMAO!
Actually I suggest that you think about it and move it around on sliders cause you don't want to scratch the floors or strain your back.Nate is on Oprah...Watch! Think outside the box you'd be amazed at the outcome. It can be split and doesn't have to be up against a wall. You looked frazzled and anxious...definitely DRINK!The more you drink the better you'll feel and the "Sextional Beast" will find a home and then down the road you will laugh at it.
BTW, if you believe or amuse yourself with astrology you are definitely on the Cusp of Virgo and Libra- Balance, Orderly perfectionist yada yada yada!

ROSSSSS!! Ur couch is pure magic...and so were u on last night Fit Club! I always thoguht Saved by the Bell was life...but after seeing how Dustin is....I'm rethinking of taking down my SBTB poster and putting all my DVD box sets in the back of the DVD holder....but I dont think I could do that to Lisa or Kelly! But back to the BEAST....int he words of TIM GUNN....MAkE IT WORK! Carry on...

Pulling A Joey!
You make me laugh EVERYDAY!
I feel like you are talking to me, just as when you write the Blog, you are writing to me personally. I love your facial expressions and body language.Would you be able to talk if someone taped your hands behind your back?...LMAO. Thanks for sharing yourself with us everyday it is not easy and you do it so well.
Question: Was there anyone other than Louise in the room with you. You looked like you were sharing this with someone, or were your eyes just dashing around in sheer panic???

another looooooooong day at work being teased by a talky blog that I CAN'T WATCH!! how sad! And to top if all off!!!!! I have a major migraine! Two maxaults and a toridol shot and I still am dying. but at least i work at a clinic and have all this at my fingertips.

REEDANIEL: How was your weekend? I guess I just missed ya in chat last night!

We did the exact same thing 1 year ago - bought a HUGE sectional and didn't realize just how HUGE it was until it was in our livingroom. It just takes a while to get used to it - in a couple of days you'll wonder how you ever got along without it! :)

Ross, hun, its gonna be ok. Have a couple drinks...or 6 and take a deep breath. I'll totally help you move if ya want!!! I love moving!! (yes, I am a dork!) The Beast is going to end up looking fantastic, I promise!!
Happy Monday everyone!!

Oh Ross...what did you do?! LOL And I am totally LOL @ you convincing yourself that it will fit, that moving furniture is fun, and that it will look gorgeous. LOL I have no doubt it will all turn out fine and be just what you said though. Good luck & I will be looking for the finished product!!!

Lady Desert

I lived down by York for a few years but now im in the far north western corner..a place I like to call...BFE!!

Happy Monday Blog Buddies & Ross,

Ross, the beast is b-e-a-utiful, I'm sure once you get everything in the right place, it will all work out right. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago, after 2 and a half hours of moving furniture back and forth throughout the entire room, I finally got everything to fit perfectly. And it looks great!

Well, good luck to you, and I'll talk to you later blog buddies!

Until tomorrow, Jeff

What really sucks is when you have a large piece of furniture like a bunk bed and you have to put it in a small room. Because its so big you have to assemble it in the room and its impossible to manage with all the other room furniture so you have to empty the room. What a task.

The couch does look nice. Lots of space. You could have a lot of company. Maybe and AI viewing party. Those sound fun. or the Oscar Viewing party when you are not busy on the red carpet.

OMG, Ross, you are too funny. Thanks for sharing your angst with us. I think we've all made purchases without the actual floorplan and MEASUREMENTS in hand!

Good luck wishing it were smaller. Sometimes magic just isn't enough. I'm sure you'll work it out. Before you move it 20 times, try using some masking tape on the floor to mark the space.

The most important thing to remember is your comfort. Arrange it to max out YOUR comfort or return it for another one if all else fails?!?

Ross you are adorable! I bet your living room will look awesome....

love ya!

Ross ~ I kind of feel your couch pain.

This past weekend my hubby, son and I ripped up our carpeting to expose our BEAUTIFUL hardwood floors (why anyone would cover hardwood floors is BEYOND me)... anywho... after the carpet was ripped up and everything was looking beautiful, we sat, staring at our furniture, trying to figure out where to put everything. To make matters worse, we had to work around the surround sound for our TV!!

We finally got it how we wanted it (after eating White Castle to boost brain energy) and now we love it so much we don't want to leave our living room!!

Good luck!

Mom_ross
LOL @ First. :O) Hugs. Karen. xo

ROSS!!! You'll be FINE. I rearrange my furniture ALL THE TIME! Change is good. The couch looks GREAT! Don't worry and have fun with your new set up.

You were great last night on CFC!!

Next time you want to drink, just tell yourself, "somewhere in the world its 12:00"

Good luck and I can't wait to see the new digs. Keep Smiling :)

Happy Monday, Blog Pals!

Ross, you're too funny on your vblog today. You bring to mind another song "I'm so dizzy, my head is spinning..." Hoping your Beast turns into a real Beauty when you're finished rearranging furniture. Always a good idea to measure your room space before furniture shopping. LOL Thanks for giving us the heads-up that you'll be on Tyra Banks' show 5/3. Will be sure to tune in!!

Welcome all newbies! And special Get Well Wishes for DonnaW with your knee surgery recovery. :O)

LOL Rhonda. "Help me Rhonda, help, help me Rhonda". Seems I need your help to get your name straight. (ha, ha)

Whabbear, you keep me entertained, dear. LOL at your channeling.

Ms. Manners, thank you for putting together the bday calendar for bloggers!

LOL at Mary including "horizontal dancing" to help in her weight loss. Whatever works, right? :O)

BHC, LOL at you trying to fill your spare tires when lots of bloggers are trying to "deflate their spare tires" with Git Fit. :O)

Have a great day, everyone!

Ross, it happens to everyone at some point. We all fall in love with the large, overstuffed furniture (thanks to Barnes and Noble!) Then we get it home and realize our rooms aren't large, but will soon be overstuffed. I bought so much furniture when we built our home... and a lot of it I would never buy twice.

You and your friend will find a way to make it cozy and feeling like home again soon. Until then...

...bottoms up!

PS- Are olives allowed during the phase 1 part of Dr Ians diet? I am planning for Greek salad, but my neighbr thinks olives would be a no-no. (kill joy!)

u are so funny the coucg look comfy hehe i hope it all works
u make me laugh ross good way to start of the day read ur blog
lol
keep up the good work
love lauryn
peace out xx

Ross, the BEAST is great - I know you'll make it work just fine. I have what I consider to be a large living room, but when I filled it with new furniture it took some doing to make it all fit. I should have warned you when you said you were buying a couch to Measure, Measure, Measure!!

Saw you on CFC last night. You are doing so well! I really like this season's members, except one person, but he makes the show interesting to watch (and yes, Ross, you make the show interesting but YOU are NOT who I am referring to!)

Ross, you look fabu! And the drama queen classes are really taking! LOL just teasing! I felt like I wanted to come over there and feed you ice chips!

15 pound weight loss for first weigh in?????? Holy buckets batman! Looking good! What breed of dog is Louise?

I don't have speakers at work, but I do believe I can read your lips on some of the words you said!

Ross I so live like 30 minutes away from you if you truely do need help...maybe i can get a bunch of my pals and we can help!!! fun times

{{{{{{{{{{Lounge}}}}}}}}}}}Always work around the largest peice of the sectional.Put it where you want it then build off of it.Ross take my advice because When I lived in San Francisco Thats what I did for a living.Yes I set up show rooms At THE SHOW PLACE GALERIA.the place where Stars shop for their interria decorations.

my parents have a mirror in their dining room that is like "the beast". looked good at the store. large, rectangular mirror. they wanted to mount it lengthwise on the wall of their dining room. the thing is LARGER in circumfrence than most large dining room tables. huge. vegas huge. when i first walked in to their house, i was almost knocked over by it's size. "what the F... is THAT?!?" LMAO it's huge. my mom is SO annoyed with it. but, hey, it's theirs now. LOL

DO NOT OVER WORK YOURSELF

Ross, is it just me or do you look sooo wonderfully handsome when you are frazzled? LOL! Let's all hop on a Plane to Ross land and have a "where to put the monster" party! (Ross, now you can really panic.. hee hee).
Becca 4 more hrs untill your 21!!!

SO serious! I love it! I am sure you will make it look Fab, and you and Louise can enjoy it to the fullest!

Happy Rearranging!!
XOXO

Ross:
Does Louise get to get up on the beast? I'm glad you felt you could turn to us for help. It was great having you in chat last night for CFC.

Bradley: I'm assuming you are feeling ALOT better because Juan took care of you? wink wink

Ross,
Hang in there. Love you on CFC. Your smile makes me smile.

Miss Manners,
Just sent you my bday. Yeah Juan took good care of me. He just layed with me and massaged me till I fell asleep. I was pretty bad last night. Now I feel great! Just needed some rest I guess.

Also, Thanks for doing the birthday calendar. I know I mentioned it a couple days ago in the blog but just couldn't figure out how to do it! LOL!! Now I won't forget brithdays, I hope! HAHA!

Happy Monday for you all and Tuesday for me bloggers!!

I really love these talky blogs... I feel they are so much more interactive..

Ross - I love that couch. I would draw a little plan before I move anything because if you move it and don't like it then you have to move it all again. BTW, what I saw of your place looks lovely. You should do a talky blog tour one day.. in the car.. at home.. I think it would be fun.. I'm probably the only one though.

Oh well, I hope you all have a good Monday evening/night, talk to you all soon, hopefully... BYE!

Ross- Baaa haaa haaa @the beast. I take it now you are beauty?

Hehehehehe

Really nice place you and you'll work it.

Ross and Joey- I just saw Friday nights segment on the fan page. It was too funny.

Chatters- I'll try to stop into chat but I have to help the boss do a few things on his computer.

ROSS CFC was sooooo good. What a sweetheart you are. It's amazing what you can watch and enjoy when someone you love is on it (in it??).
Couldn't see but sounds like your couch is beautiful--and big. Don't worry you'll make it work.
When I got married my husband (now X-husband) and I bought a new bed. It totally filled the room, had to move it to get in the closet! Unbelievable what is fun when you are young and in love!!

WELCOME all new blogger buddies!!

Miss Manners thank you for the birthday calendar...what a nice job : )

BECCA:
Mary in Mich. said at 5pm you have 5 hours until b'day. Here you have 6 1/2 hours. Don't know what time it is in Texas but you could celebrate every time zone!! Party on and have fun!!

Aloha friends.....

This is only a test!

Ross,

Two words: Tape measure!

You are so freaking ADORABLE!! I love you and your blog!

Nesser & Auntie Mame, thanks for the ecards. They were so thoughtful. Mr. E put together a very nice birthday for me. I get to share my birthday with his 85 year old father.

Hope to see y'all later in chat.

Awww....I am sorry to hear about "the beast", Ross-ola! When we moved in here, we had the same exact troubles, too! Trying to get a leather couch thru a door that was too small. Sticking pieces of cardbord between the couch and the wall so that the couch would not be torn apart. Having to take a door off of its hinges to get the couch inside. Door off of the hinges did not work, so we had to climb thru a windo to "rock" it into the house. FINALLY it made it to its home inside our living room!! LOL I know that you are going to totally enjoy it, though!

Happy Monday evening to you!

Hugs to ya,
Sarah

^um...that's " window"...LOL ;)

AHHHH!! Forgot another birthday. Sorry Mrs. E. Happy belated Birthday!!!

Kandle Freak Linda - It's so good to see you post again. I have missed your humorous posts.

Joey - It's also good to see your back on the blog, I was worried about you.

Poppy - This is a couple of days late, due to the FOADS this weekend, but I loved your BYOB list, especially Bring Your Own Bongos!lol

Ross - Do you have any of those plastic discs that you put under the furniture to move it? They are a life saver (and a back saver)! I bought mine at Wallyworld.

Mrs. eHarmony

Ross - I just played your "talky blog" for Mr. MEK and halfway thru he said, OH you will HAVE to tell him what happened to us. I said - I already did.. He felt your pain also - hope it all worked out!!!

100 YEAH!!!

I am sure whatever you end up coming up with will look awesome! Can't wait to see!!

Yes Ross; you are stressing out too much over the beast. hahhah thats so funny. It doesnt look that bad at all. I'm sure once things are rearranged it will look fine. Cant wait to see what you did. Love ya Ross you are so awesome, you always put a smile on my face. Good Luck!
Be back tomorrow.... ciao

Your talking blog rocks! I enjoy watching them!!! So funny!

hi everyone I weigh in tomorrow!

Ok, I just watched AND listened to Talky Blog. H*I*L*A*R*I*O*U*S
Ross, you just continue to crack me up. Funny. Pure hilarity.
I feel your pain buddy. I have 2 words for ya.....
Tape.
Measurer.

We had to get a saw and cut our counter top to fit a fridge, and we measured the dang area like 50 times! And we still had it friggen wrong. We figured out what we did. We measured the area after the old fridge was out and measured from the wall to the cabinet. Not wall to counter top, WHICH over hangs said cabinet. We learned. Everyone learns.
Love ya!
Barbara

Um, can we talk about your teeth at around the 1:56 time? Ross, you have beautiful teeth!!! I know, I know a strange and random comment but I just noticed it and well, isn't this whole blog strange and random and wonderful too? Good luck with your beast!!

You've probably solved the problem by now! You have such a creative mind and a good sense of what looks appropriate. I have confidence that you will work out the dilemma. Besides, there IS a reason those are called sectionals.

Louise is just the perfect lap dog. She is SO CUTE!

OK so tonight is Dancing with the Stars - whose leaving this week??? Not Apollo!!!!

Barb

Ross, lol at "is it too early to drink". I've felt like that sometimes too. Hey it was 5:00 somewhere...

Nice couch, did you get everything situated yet?

Teri, Yeah, I'm trying to get rid of my spare tire but taking my bike for a long walk trying to fill it's tires wasn't what I had in mind.

Glad to know that I'm not the only "spacially challenged" person on the blog! Sounds like many have done the same thing...looks so great in the store..get it home...YIKES!

It all works out in the end. Can we say Feng Shui people!!

Have a great night all!

Hey Ross,
Don't forget to go pick up a copy of Kimberley's sophomore album "Based On A True Story", Tomorrow!

It's me again. I need some suggestions. I have a scale, but I want to get a digital scale tomorrow, so no more guessing. Sometimes it is so hard to distinguish the little lines. SO..........does anyone have a recommendation for a really good digital scale. There was one on sale in the BB&B flyer for $39.99.

Thanks blog buddies.

Ross- i know you can't tell us what comes next, but PU-LEEEZE, I hope Dustin gets through whatever pain is causing him to be such a hostile, angry man! I wanted to reach through the tv and slap him when he was so mean to all of you when you were only trying to understand him.

Mrs.E:Happy belated B-day!
Auntie E:Good luck on your weigh-in! I lost one lousy lb last week!Oh well, better than gaining eh? It's my own fault, I "fudged" on my exercising.

Ross, see if the store has an interior designer to come to your house and help you arrange the furniture. If not, hire one. Or return the couch. This happened to me once where I bought too many pieces (couch, love seat and chair) and ended up sending the chair back because it just would not fit. It will work out. And as a last resort, call one of the HGTV shows based in LA and see if you can be a "makeover".

two words hon...
TAPE MEASURE!!!!

love ya,
bisc

First, a big welcome to the all the newbies, and a huge welcome back to our Sonia...welcome home!!!

Rossalicious, I loved the talky blog today--the Beast is gorgeous! I can't wait to see what you came up with! It will be fine, trust us. Have faith! And HAVE A DRINK FOR GOD'S SAKE! Is it too early to drink? It's NEVER too early to drink, my friend. Nev-ah!!!

Today's 2nd cheer:

GIMME AN "H"!
GIMME AN "E"!
GIMME AN "A"!
GIMME AN "L"!
GIMME A "T"!
GIMME ANOTHER "H"!
GIMME A "Y"!

WHAT'S THAT SPELL?

WHAT?

ONE MORE TIME!!!!

lol @ Trish's cheers. I think they work though- I'm off to grab another bottle of water.

hi Ross and BB's!

Ross, never fails. Furniture in giant showrooms looks so "normal sized" and then you get it home and its like a car parked in your living room. You will get used to it and it will look great.

I just got in from my 2 1/2 mile walk. It was getting dark and I was totally avoiding doing it, but finally I thought "if I don't, I am going to be disappointed in myself" so I dusk I headed out, and I huffed it for 45 minutes, and made it back. SOOOooo happy I did it.

I am headed to Phoenix area this week and weekend for work. Dreading it, but hope to keep up the exercise while on the road. Traveling is my downfall.
WISH ME LUCK, BB's !!

Peace, Love, and Move More to Lose More!

Good for you, Patrick.

*singing* I like to move it, move it. I like to move it, MOVE IT!

Another great cheer Trish!!!!!

Barb

PATlanta
Good luck this week. If you are going to walk in Phoenix you better do it early in the morning or you might melt.

Barb

I am going to share with you, Ross - as well as other blog buddies - my best and most theraputic mantra.

*** must repeat 3 times, with a deep breath in between ***

Ready????

"ALL WILL BE WELL, ALL WILL BE WELL - IN ALL THINGS, ALL WILL BE WELL"

Soothing and refreshing, isn;t it?

Love ya,
ME

Howdy Blog Buddies!!

Teri- you can call me whatever you want, just so you call me...(for DINNER)!! Just kidding!! LOL!! Exercising makes me so hungry!! I think about food 24/7!!

Mrs. eHarmony: You are so polite!! You thanked me for wishing you a happy birthday. You are so welcome!! I hope you had a fantabulous birthday (and many more)!

Miss Manners: How sweet of you to make the calendar!! Thank you! You are so talented and intelligent, too!

This has to be the best blog site EVER! The folks on here are so nice, polite, thoughtful, and adoring fans of Ross (like me)!!!

Ross, I love your new talky blog! Don't worry, the couch situation will work out, and I know you will be happy with it. I am most impressed with the positive attitude you are determined to maintain, even when you are wondering how to fit all the furniture into the room! I love your positive spirit!!

Bye till tomorrow, blog buddies!

Whoo Hooo!!! Good cheer Trish!!! Thanks for keeping us going!!! I'm almost done with my 2nd 24 oz bottle of water for the day!!! And the most amazing thing about it all, is that I'm rather enjoying drinking the stuff now!!! I think I'm going to have to ear-mark a 3rd 24 oz bottle for me, as I could actually drink more!! What a difference once I make my mind up........now will the scales tell it??? Dang I hope so!!!!

Ross I'm sure you settled your delima, I have faith in you!!!

Have a great night everyone!!!

PAtlanta:Way to go!! You put me to shame!
Trish:I will chant your cheer on my walk tomorrow.
Nesser: I will "move it, move it"
mary ellen. If I get stressed I I will chant "all will be well" I feel better already!!
Trish: What will the results be? I'll be H-E-A-L-T-H-Y!!

OH MY GOSH, I HAVE THAT SAME COUCH! Our "beast" fits in our living room, but since it is a sectional, our living room can be arranged only one way...and that drives me a little nuts!

Ross, I think that we would definitely be friends, and having the same taste in furniture proves to me that I am right;) I love to read/watch your blog. Thanks for making me laugh everyday!

Oh dear! Where was the salesperson???? He/She should have clued you in on the fact that you should always measure, measure, measure!

By the way, I love the talky blogs! So much fun to watch you! Loving CFC too. Absolutely loving it! I am amazed at how much weight everyone lost at the first weigh in. How many weeks went by between the first weigh in and the 2nd?

Hugs to Louise. Hello everyone on the Blog! Sorry I haven't been blogging and haven't been to chat. This is a crazy time of year for me with the end of school, my son's baseball (Go Miami!) and other son's life... I'm looking forward to summer to be sure!

Ross,
I want to share with you a piece of advice you once gave me....chill out :) Everything's gonna work out fine & you'll whip the beast into working order.

BGF Report:
Y'all, I need to tear myself away from the 'puter to eat "scheduled meals". I've been having problems with portion control because I just can't seem to tear myself away from the 'puter. Between online classes, researching & writing papers, checking my (now 4) e-mail addys & checking MySpace, I spend a lot of time on the 'puter. I also NEED to start keeping a food journal, go for regular walks with Daisy & Dixie, DRINK MORE H2O, do chair aerobics at least 5 times per week for a period of 45-60 minutes. I went to my monthly assessment for the HappyHeart Program @ the Choctaw Nation Hospital.
My LDL cholesterol has increased by 18 points which is significant enough to start on statin medications to lower cholesterol. I'm leery about starting on a statin even though I know it can significantly reduce my chance of having a heart attack by 30%. I GAINED 8 lbs since my last visit. I am now @ 388 lbs. The good news from my visit is my blood pressure was 114/72 & my Hemoglobin A1C was 6.1% which means diabetic-wise, everything's stable. I feel like such a failure as far as weight-loss & healthy living are concerned. =(

I can be reached @

nurse83buttercup@yahoo.com

Thanks,
jno

Mrs E: Me, too! Off to get a digital scale tomorrow. May we choose wisely!

Trish and Mary Ellen: TY! Inspiration, inspiration! I will run, I will run, I will run!

LOM and Rhonda: Your posts were great today! Nice and positive...

WB, PJ!

Roland: Let me get this straight (!) You worked in San Francisco as an interior decorator, and you are a happily married hetero with kids? I love it! :)

Ross I'm sure you will figure something out. Maybe you could swap your dining room for your living room, like put your table where your tv is. But either way, I'm sure it'll look great.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECCA!!

Trish how dynamic can one person be?? You are totally rockin' it!! In fact...no...are those pom poms I hear rustling in the breeze???? : )

PAtlanta-sending you luck but sounds to me you are doing a great job!

Mrs. eHarmony I wish you more luck with a digital scale than I had. I tried three different scales and every one of them was "weird". You could go weigh yourself every ten minutes and it would be 5-10 pounds up or down, depending on it's mood!?! Three of us tried it----very strange. Let me know if you find one that works??

nurse83buttercup sending you nothing but love. Tomorrow WILL be better.

Good night blog buddies..sleep warm

Trish the CheerLeader
YAH! Loved it. Hugs. xo

JNO
Jackie, you are not a failure. You are an intelligent, kind,
hardworking, caring person. You have a lot on your plate
and I don't mean that literally. It is so easy to be worried
about everyone else that you sometimes tend to forget you.
All you need to do is change your eating habits, start spending
less time at the puter, and set up a schedule for yourself. I
also think it would help if you kept two journals. One for your
personal feelings and daily accomplishments, and one for
everything you eat and drink each day. I know this would inspire.
I love ya girlfriend. You are a special person. You are my JNO.
Sending you love and hugs, and, Prayers for your progress.
You can do it. Now let's do it. None of this sittin around. LOL
Now get the heck up here for a walk with me and Matty. :O)
Your friend for life and Canuck Sista. Karen and her Noise. xoxo

Ross I really love it here in ROSSLAND it's so friendly.I only hope the the bad pineapples are thrown away.and I hope you are able to figure out where the bad pineapples really are.your friend Mr-Roland

Dear Mr Ross Mathews.Sir I have one Quick honest Question to ask you. SIR,I am not saying there is but. What would you do if you found out there was a Clique in the chat room.

THATS MY FRIEND SHE / He CAN DO NO WRONG

Ross, as a former interior designer, one of the key things I would tell people is LIVE with the new piece. Give it a week just to get used to it in the space. It doesn't look too big at all... It's just BIGGER than what you're used to seeing there, which tends to be a shocker. I agree with the person who said to draw it out first. If you're anything like me, however, you're too impatient and have now probably moved that thing all over the room. If you have some graph paper, you can easily plot out your room and cut out pieces to represent your sofa... Sounds like a lot to do, but not hard at all, and worth it, in the long run. Like I said before... Just give it time to sink in.

"The Beast" is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see what you did!
Huggles,
Jamie

Glad to hear you figured out the beast in chat last night. I'm tellin' ya, you better invest in some doggy clippers for Louise. My dog ruined my mom's leather sofa. Be aware. I'm just sayin :)

Your couch looks beautiful. Don't sweat the rearranging. I will be fun, a great workout, and you will feel like you accomplished something big.

I can't watch the videos at work but the make coming home worth it. he he he he.

Rainy here today and possibly flash flooding.

Well it is time to get ready for work, up a little early today to check the blog.

Lynne

Hey Ross,

Love your talky blog! you are awsome!!!!...and I am sure the beast will look beautiful once you move it all around and live with it for a couple of days...my son says you will have fun with it...he is only 9 yrs. old and loves to rearrange his room every week..lol

good luck with it, and we love ya!

Nurse buttercup:

Don't give up! I had to hit rock bottom before I started doing something about myself. I was so sick I couldn't walk to the end of the driveway without feeling like I was going to faint. I finally got on a healthy eating path and my numbers and labs are good. I never cheat with my eating, my problem is I hate to exercise! I cook delicious and healthy meals and enjoy them.

I use a site called http://www.joesgoals.com There you can write in goals and it will track it for you. They can be negative or positive goals. It will tell me "It has been 10 days since you exercised"!

I also put in goals of things that I wanted to do to pamper myself. For example I get a masssage almost every week. I go to the massage school where it's only $25. I've got one tomorrow.

I also had to work on the mental side of it. I see a mind/body therapist. My stress has greatly reduced. Panic attacks pretty much gone. Now working on my phobias. I'm going to try hypnotherapy soon.

So in the midst of all this self improvement, find a place to love yourself.

Hang in there everyone and happy Tuesday!

MM

Good morning blog buddies! I hope you all have a great day!
Hugs!
Tracy aka sassyscissors2002

Good Morning Ross, and BB's!

First of all, thank you NESSER, SACBARB, and MARY FROM MICHIGAN for all the good vibes. You guys are awesome and total inspire me, and I will try to do the same for you.
Don't worry about me walking in the Phoenix heat Barb. I got 2 words for you... tread mill. :-) Hopefully the resort will have a good gym.

I am sitting here eating my oatmeal and drinking my low fat milk, when really what I want to do is get into my car and go to Chic-Fil-A for a chicken biscuit and large sweet tea / lemonade split.

To ALL U BB's, In the words of the freakish Tony Little "YOU CAN DOOOO ITTT !"

Keep on Moving!

I actually have a worse couch story for you. My partner and I bought a house and wanted to put a couch in the basement. The back door was too narrow, so we bought and had a larger door installed. (A lot of work and $$). Then we ordered the couch and large chair and ottoman. When they tried to deliver them they got them in the door fine, but the couch couldn't handle the hook at the bottom of the stairs so we had to return it and since it was a custom order we lost more $$ on the deal...not fun.

Hey Ross,
I think we were sepparated at birth..I can absolutely relate to your couch delema. COUCHZILLA! Take lots of deep breaths, dring lots of coffee and maybe a few margaritas, and get your re-arranging on. Good luck:)
Sending good vibes your way...

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

Ross- I read in reedaniel's comment that you got the beast situation under control. Good for you! I would have known that, had I been in chat. I am having so much trouble finding time in the evenings to get in there.

Miss Manners- I hear you are putting together a blogger bday calendar. That is very nice of you!!!

So today I am frustrated. Like I said above, I am having a hard time finding the extra time to get into chat. Not only chat, but to keep up with the blog. When I am not at work, booger and the hubby keep me so busy. I usually only have the mornings to myself. NO ONE is ever in chat that early. Thats when I usually get to read the blog. I never can get through all the comments though. The comment section has really exploded lately and its hard to read them all at once. When I am at work(which is only 2-3 days a week)I have all the time in the world. I can't chat @ work though. I really dont know where I am going with this. I dont really have a point. LOL, just bored and keep on typing.

Anyways, I am at work today(730-615), so I will be bored. Talk to me!!!

~Shell~

Please don't get rid of my pineapple in Bikini Bottom!!!

SpongeBob SquarePants
(aka Mrs. E)

P.S. I have no idea what is going on in chat, but I am just feeling ornery. LOL

Whabbear - I tend to be a little ANALytical on certain purchases when I know I will have them around for a long time. I did a little research this morning and there is a bathroom scale that Weight Watchers makes that it very highly rated on wamazon. Sorry, I don't know how to do the fancy link, but it is a: WW43 Memory Glass Electronic Scale for $49.99. There are also much fancier models also, but I didn't have time to check those out. I'm off to Midland.

BB's - Have a great Tuesday.

Mrs.E

LOL @ The Ross Blog Clique!

Good Morning Ross and bloggers

Bloggers- Please wear purple today. It's the kick off day for the 24 hour walk to end cancer.

Chatters- I will not be in chat tonight. I'm going to the dentist and having a tooth or two pulled today. Can anyone say.....ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

myshell-I know how you feel!! I do daycare 5 days a week from 5:45 a.m. until 5:00 at night, then go to Curves, then come home and make supper, which isn't until 6:00 that I get home from Curves, then still try to get a walk in 2-3 nights a week, plus go to kids' stuff, concerts, sporting events, and STILL have some time for me. Something has to give, unfortunately, it's been chat most of the time, and as it is, I haven't been getting into bed until 11:00 -11:30 at night, only to get up again at 5:30 a.m. and start all over......it's tough!!

Happy Tuesday everyone, have a great day!!!

ROSS!! ROSIE JUST SAID ON HER BLOG TODAY HOW MUCH SHE LOVES YOU, AND, THAT YOU ARE COMING ON THE VIEW ?!?!?!??
WHEN?

Patrick in Atlanta

TY, Mrs E! I'll keep that model in mind.

Ross: I finally listened to your radio station last night. Only to discover that the topic was, yep, astronomical... did you listen to it?

This person named Andrew was all excited about Cygnus X-3, claiming that cosmic rays from the object influenced human evolution in Paleolithic times (particularly 17000 years ago).

OMG! Ross, beware! I did some online research this morning, and the person in question, Andrew Collins, is a charlatan; he was on the radio to plug the newest of a series of "pseudoscience" books on UFOs and similar topics. It made for amusing listening, but please don't take his stuff seriously!

OK, it's a military "sound-off" cheer...

Ain't got money, ain't got wealth,
But at least I got my health!

Sound off...Bloggers
Sound off...Git Fit

Sound off Bloggers, GIT FIT!!!

Oy...I'm wearin' out my pom poms!!! ;)

GOOD MORNIN', GIT FITTERS!!!

JNO, YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE!!! You are human. A beautiful, wonderful, charismatic human. You can do this...and when you feel that you can't, we're all here for you. You've got a whole community here backing you!!! ♥ you!!!

*shaking pom poms, doing high kicks...*

Mikey, how will I go on without you today? Good luck at the dentist, and when in doubt, go for the novocaine!!!

lil_ole_me- glad to know i'm not the only one!!!

Mikey- Good luck at the dentist. That reminds me I am soooooooo overdue to go. I need to make an appointment!

Hi Blog Buddies!

What is this I hear about a clique in Rossland? I knew it!! As soon as you bring in all the perky, cute little cheerleaders, it only takes a little time for the clique to start forming!! LOL!!

Okay, what is this I hear about Ross being on The View? I'm out of town right now, and I missed the announcement. When?? R & R finally together!! It's only a matter of time before they have their own talk show--just like Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon!! I can't wait!!

myshellmommy: Hang in there!! I remember those days when my kids were small. I was lucky to find the time to take a shower!! Believe me, it's all worth it!

Mikey: Best of luck with the dentist! I've been in your shoes many a day, so I definitely can relate!! Ask for laughing gas AND novacaine!! LOL!!

Happy 21st Becca!! Enjoy!! :)

Thanks Whabbear for the positive comment.:) I appreciate it!!

Ross: I can't wait to see a picture of the final layout of "The Beast"! ...and sweet, sweet little Louise!! What a great companion! She is such a little doll in the talky blog!! I'm glad you found each other!! I think she is excited about "The Beast"! LOL!!

Well, good afternoon, Blog Buddies!! I hope everyone has an enjoyable rest of the day!

Hymenoptera~ Did you hear about the truck accident in Portland, OR? 8 colonies of bees all over the interstate... they closed the busy highway so the bee keeper could collect them.

I thought of you...

PAtlanta:I feel your pain!LOL I had oatmeal with almond chips for breakfast, and a cup of tea. Please let there be no weight problems in heaven :+).
Becca: HAPPY 21st B-Day!!
Trish: You can be our Cheerleader Captain!
I'm off to my recumbent bike!

Glynis - LOL - NO dreams last night - thank goodness!! and it would have been a NIGHTMARE!!! :-)

Whabby - in Rosie's talky blog - someone asked about Ross and she said - he's going to be on the show!! I'm sure "when" was one of Ross's fun secrets that he wanted to share!!

Welcome Matt:)
Oh, that sounds funny... a BIG hello to the newest blog buddy Matt!

hi Mary in Michigan.
Good for you and the oatmeal, even though it totally sux if it is not the perfect consistancy for me.

however I kind of blew it at lunch with a chicken sandwich and fries. :-( BUT I am going to do my 2 1/2 mile walk again this evening, and it is 91 degrees here in Atlanta today, so surely I will burn some of it off, right ?!?!

Cheers from the ATL.

Move to Lose people!

Pamela, Hope you had a great visit with your mom. I will put a little message on your myspace!

OMG ROSS!!! When are you going to be on the View????

Welcome to Matt! Glad you found us. Hope to see you in chat sometime. :-)

Hi Ross, Good luck taming the beast. Can't wait to see the new layout. I LOVE the Talky Blogs. Though I can imagine you when I read the blog, listening to you is just a delight.

JNO - It'll be OK. Sending you {{{{HUGS}}}} and understanding. I too have health issues that I deal with daily. I often have to forgive myself and start over. It's so important to know that you can do and you can.

Nesser - I'd like to move it, move it too, just wish I could move it more.

I've been away for a couple of days. Happy belated birthday Mrs E and happy birthday Becca!

I told you bloggers, the R & R Show! Ross & Rosie together, Shut Up!!

Hello my Nebraska friends, Lady Desert Rat and Nebraska Newcomer. I'm in the big O, home of the Creighton Bluejays! NE Newcomer-If your near Chadron, that's beautiful country. Went there on vacation years ago. I loved it and hope to get back there. I think of it when I smell pine trees.

For giggles, watch the Ellen Degeneres clips of her phone calls to Gladys. They are hilarious.

Health and Happiness to all!

SharonK,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE when Ellen talks to Gladys! Did you see yesterday's show when she called Gladys about the T-shirts. OMG she is funny!!! HAHA!!! I want one of those t-shirts that say "I love Jesus, but i drink a little" HAHA!!!

SharonK and Bradley
I love gladys too. When Ellen asked her if she had her own teeth she said "I'm wearin' 'em" Too funny.

I also cracked up when Ellen showed the video of the little girl dancing and then she danced over her baby sister on the floor like Ellen going over the coffee table. LOL :)

Barb

*pounces on president Barb* can I be in the clique, too?!

Rolly-please don't take all this so seriously. some people just click better with some people than others. same as in "real-life".

Ross-thanks for taking time to talk to us last night. It definitely made my night. (I hope I didn't say anything stupid lol) :o)

Have a great day, everyone!

Just heard the news! So so so excited for you!
Can't wait!!!

Happy Birthday Becca!

See you all in chat tonight! (The laundry can wait, right?)

Ross.....I love you to pieces honey....but.........did it ever occur ti you to meausre how much space you had. Oh, anyway...rearranging is more than half the fun of getting a new piece of furniture. Hmmmm..Kinda reminds me of the time that I went to the Ashley Furniture Store looking for a new bed and bought the WHOLE suit. The poster bed, the dresser, the night stands, the wardrobe chesty thingy, and the just had to have it tapestry chase-y thing. Only problem was I had a box for a room. I only had room for the bed, one night stand. a lamp, and my TV. Who cares if the bed was sohigh that I had to take down the lightening fixture? Hope it all worked out for you!

Well, the Beast at least looks really comfy! You could always sell it on eBay and start over if there's no room for it! Double the fun!

hhahahahhaha you are learning a valuable lesson. either measure the furniture in the store then go home and measure the space and call in the order or measure the space before you go!

Somehow I have a knack for being able to tell if something will fit in our house and where. It's weird. In our previous house I thought we were gonna be able to fit a lazyboy couch with recliners built in both ends and then 2 lazyboy recliners for us in the family room and we ended up having to put one recliner in the living room. WHOOPS!

Hope things look great now!

Well i cant wait to see how your livingroom turned out. I L-O-V-E the sectional though!!! Great choice!! BY the way i hope you had a great time at the derby. Wish i could have been there to meet you. Hope to see anouther talky blog soon. They really cheer me up!!

Love Always
