Absolutely... this chocolate easter egg that my erstwhile sister-in-law gets me every year! Yum... I think I'll go and sneak a nibble right now!

As for favorite candy,
usually anything with chocolate will do for me ;o)

But if we want to get into name brands...
Twix, 3 mustkateers, 100 grand & Reeses.
The best, by far is to mix plain M&Ms with Reese's pieces in a bowl and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave: YUM!!!

Ok. That pic is just a wee bit disturbing!! haha Favorite candy....Wonderbar Eggs. A perfect mix of milk chocolate, PB and a taste of caramel. Hmmmmmm....

but seriously, anything with chocolate is good for me...the darker the better.

Anything with chocolate but especialy with PB. I really like butterfingers and dove chocolates. PB M&M's are awesome too!!! Oh great...the chocolate easter bunny is calling me again. LOL!! #1 fave candy is reese's peanut butter cups. as far as actual "easter" candy, i LOVE peeps!

I have so many favorite kinds I like reeses peanut butter cups those are my fav's! And almond joy and mounds basically any kind of candy that is coverd in chocolate!

Candy is my downfall - need to cut back, but just isn't happening...

lately, I've been on a mounds bar kick (the list would be WAY too long if I listed ALL of my favs) - but for Easter candy - I love those Russell Stover chocolate eggs with vanilla cream inside. YUMMY!!!!!

Way back along time ago- there as a candy bar called "Milkshake" - don't think they make it anymore, but doesn anyone else remember it...it sure was ymmy!!!

Sarah - Dairy Queen is having a special blizzard right now with Kit Kat bars - saw the commerical last night...

Back to watching the Masters before I have to go off to dinner....

{Tootsie roll pops}-Ever since I Was a kid growing up with KOJAK,and everyone use to walk around with a pop in their mouth.Your mom would say "do not run with that in your mouth."I can still be seen once in a while with one in my mouth.

OMG! That pic is sooooo wrong on sooooo many levels.....but for some reason I can not stop looking at it.

Fav candy: well when I go to the movies I always get peanut m&m's. At Easter I always loved the Milky Way eggs, but I can not find them anymore. At Valentines, it's any chocolate out of a heart shaped box. At Christmas it's chocolate covered cherries. At Halloween it's mini snickers and milky way. But if I'm just buying a candy bar to eat, it's usually the white chocolate reese's peanut butter cups. I'm weird. Get over it.

My favorite candy is chocolate. Although I seem to like the more expensive better than the cheap ones these days. & I like dark chocolate more than milk. I just don't eat it as much anymore b/c it has tons of calories.

Hy - where in Colorado did you used to live? I spent most of my life in the Springs.

Whab - I know what you mean about chat - I finally got hubby to "watch" the computer one time and had everyone say hi to him - that's where Want started the Mr. MEK!!!

Anyway - I'm rambling on need to get back to the tournament....

OMG I haven't had any candy since last May! Sugar is poison to my body and artificial sweetners are very dangerous.

I finally got to the point where I don't crave candy anymore. I actually have big bags of it at work and give it away to my students and bring the bag to meetings, etc. And... I've never touched it. My blood sugar is now completely stabilized and it's worth it to me.

The thing that I crave is ice cream. I make my own once in a while and sweeten it with stevia.

I love anything with vanilla in it.

For Easter dinner my mom is cooking leg of lamb. Bradley, sorry that you are alone on Easter.

Ross, I hope the Easter bunny is good to you. And Ross_mom I'm sure Ross would rather be there with you as I'm sure you're a great cook!

chocolate is always a favorite around here, especially reesie cups! But other than chocolate, I have a new favorite: Hot Tamales! I am so hooked on them! I got a large box and have it in my car and whenever I am driving and need a little something I eat a few. The best part is that (for me) they are too spicy, so I can only eat a few and then I am done.

I am also enjoying the Starburst jelly beans today too!

Hope you are all enjoying sunshine, warmer temps and a gorgeous day. I am cooking a small pork loin and it smells so good in this house right now!

If you love chocolate, check out Hebert's Genevas. Hebert's is on line and located in Massachusetts. They have various chocolates, but the genevas are little cubes in a plastic mold (like ice cube trays). You can get milk, dark or white chocolate
and with or w/o nuts. Since finding Hebert's I've not bought Godiva, which was my favorite.

Does anyone remember Wig Wags by Rowntree from the early to mid 80's? Cadbury has a version I think it's called Curly Wurly or something like that. The Wig Wag was about a foot long, strings of caramel in a criss cross pattern covered in chocolate, with the words Rowntree stamped all over the underside of it.

Ok Pamela....I went to Walgreens and I could not find any Milky Way eggs. :(
So I decided to just get 2 snickers ones since I had drove all the way there, might as well get something. HOLEY MOLEY!!!! Inside the snickers box was 2 milky way eggs!!!!! SCORE!!!!!! I was so excited. Then I spent 10 trying to find more, but alas, only 2 were to be found. Now I can't decide whether to eat them now, or save them!

I don't have a favorite candy. I'm not really a big candy fan. I like a Watchamacallit every once in a while and I like pear and buttered popcorn flavored Jelly Belly's.

I am not big candy person but when those cadbury mini eggs come in I buy a big freggin bag and eat the whole ohhhhhhhhh yes baby then I have to take a laxative and pooo it all out so I dont gain 10lb ehehehhehe. But I also like the fun dip the 4 things of powder with the white candy stick I mainly buy it for the candy stick wish they could just sell those instead of the dip but I ususally get candy cigarettes because it taste the same . :) I thought I was going to lay an egg today cause people were actually being nice today holey moley batman maybe they all read yesterdays blog. Im thankful my hubby didnt eat with is family after church so he took me to the crab shack by our house, For some reason I dont like when he eats lunch with his fam b/c by the time i get off at work at 3pm and he eats at 1 with them hes not hungary and im starved! and we got eat some where and I look like the cow and he looks like the momma bird. Well after seeing that Easter bunny, I know my bunny here is not the EAster bunny for sure!!! She's just a pet!

I can only have sugar-free candy, so my favorite is Russell Stover (I think) chocolate covered coconut.

We were suppose to have a family outing to Cracker Barrel. My sister 3 hours away couldn't make the trip because of trouble (Don't know what's going on), so it was going to be my sister here and my parents. My sister's girls are sick and Dad wasn't feeling well this a.m. Now I'm concerned about him. Soooooo, no trip to Cracker Barrel - - just an awesome worship service this a.m.!!!!!

Oh! I wanted to add that it is more like Christmas here as it is 33 degrees with several more inches of snow - totaling probably over 2 feet this past few days.

Christmas was Easter weather and Easter was Christmas weather!!!! HHHHmmmmmmmm!!!

Hope the rest of you had normal weather!!! Northern Ohio isn't normal! We even had to cancel three Indians games because of SNOW!!!!!

A movie favorite - get a large butter popcorn and box of MilkDuds - ask the counter person to stop halfway through filling up the bucket of popcorn and dump in some of the Milk Duds - then finishing filling the tub o'corn and dump int eh rest of the MilkDuds -HEAVEN!!!

KFC - oh my - hubby and I taped the golf - but they had it on tv in the lobby of my mom's clubhouse - so while I was trying to do the right thing and sit at the table and be sociable and eat my meal (pot luck turned out really well ) - hubby was watching - he'd come in and give me reports - SO, I snuck out when Tiger was on 16 - I cried !!! But I won't give the results away since Whab is playing tennis!!!! oh well. Guess we can't win them all!!!

I grew up in Denver near Colorado BLVD and Alameda.Used yo be fields beyond my house when I was small now there is house after house for hundreds of miles beyond.

My favorite candy is Teuscher Champagne truffles. Worth every cent and every calorie.
they are probably up to about $3 to $4 each by now,I don't eat them very often.
A fabulous replacement for carnal pleasures, yes, you can have the ultimate sensation from fine chocolate.

My Favorite candy is chocolate covered almonds or chocolate covered peanuts. Well anything chocolate. It is my downfall. Trying to cut back so I can loose more weight. Trying to get under 180 have 10lbs to go.

I have to agree, that Easter Bunny is pretty scary. I didn't wait in the line at the mall so my kids could visit the bunny, figuring that my 2 y/o son would be terrified. But, when we walked by he about fell out of the stroller waving and laughing at the bunny. Maybe we'll try it next year.

Right now my favorite candy is the Dove chocolate truffle egg. Delicious. I also enjoy the Take 5 bars. M&M's are good, too.

It is just impossible for me to pick a favorite candy! Isn't that sad? I love chocolate. It's like another food group for me! But if I sad anything with chocolate then what about tootsie rolls? or PayDays? or Skittles and Peanut M&Ms? or how could I forget AbaZabas???? What if I forgot one? I mean holy cow, this is just too hard for me.... Can we just do favorite color next Sunday?

Miss Manners, thanks, I had Bunka (my mom) over today - we had a great ham, roasted asparagus, her potato dish, broccoli, and fresh pineapple and cantelope dinner. Went for a drive out in the country, but not the tulip fields, since she had seen them and wanted to see the outlying areas. And you guys are the first to know: my mom is now a true Amy Winehouse fan! She loved her.

Well, my fellow golf sistahs (and bear)--another year over...I must say that, not being a Tiger fan, I loved the outcome-I mean, that first year Tiger beat everyone so soundly at -15 was magical, but could it have been written any better for the boy who won today? Only his second victory EVER??? I say boy, and he's my age, but he looks so damn young! Freddy did OK today, judging by his score-I loved hearing Jim Nantz talk about him-they were roomies at the University of Texas, ya know. Why do I know that? Oy.

Fave Easter candy bar none is the Cadbury Egg-have ya tried the new Caramel ones? Heaven. I also enjoy peeps...I mean, sugar covered marshmallows...isn't that the most brilliant creation EVAH???

I really love love love Tiger Woods, and wanted him to do good today, he's one of my idols, thanks to my oldest son, to whom Tiger Woods is an idol for as well, BUT Zach Johnson is from Iowa, actually only about 40 miles from where I live, so that was pretty awesome too!!!! (Sorry Whab and everyone else!!!)

Wasn't there a pic available of a BOY being haunted by the Easter Scary Bunny? Just doesn't look quite normal to see Ross's head with a dress on underneath it. WHO loaned you their legs for the pic anyway?? DARIA????!!!!

I wonder if the bunny would lokk so evil and menacing if the head wasn't leaning over so far done one the chest. Top heavy masks can give the wearer a headche as well as causing the thing to look like the Easter Exorcist!

Looks like I working hard at keeping the Blog's Typo Queen crown after that last post. For those of you who DON'T happen to read Marrspeak, I MEANT "I wonder if that bunny would LOOK so evil and menacing if the head wasn't leaning over so far DOWN ON the chest. "

Basically, all Costumes are NOT one-size fits all and the head piece is just too large for the body of the person wearing the costume. It still looks like the Exorcisor Bunny if you ask me.

HAPPY EASTER....well actually it ended 7 minutes ago here cuz it's 12:07am....well my favorite candy would have to be Take Five.....or just anything with coconut YUMMY...right now my favorite candy to pop in and enjoy are LIFE SAVERS FRUIT TARTS...I LOVE THE CHERRY LEMONADE.....and they come in a cute little tin...YAY FOR TINS!!!!! I think I had to much sugar today haha!!!!!

I think it was near Beverly Hills - anyone know of it? They also had these fabulous choc covered espresso beans. Let me tell you, I dont drink coffee, so when I ate them, I would be WIRED for DAYS!!! Very addicting, but yummy!

i think i am coming down with the flu. argh.

so i have a lovely pot of homemade turkey soup on the stove for supper. if i had thought about it i would have made some fresh homemade rolls to go with it. oh well. next time. :D

our turkey dinner was yummmmo yesterday. so was the pie and cream too.

the boys had their easter egg hunt today. they had so much fun. rofl we have pictures of it. 2 of them running around looking for all the eggs. :D

well i must go ly down for an hour. only have one hour of work to do then supper and then its relaxing evening for me. :D
