Post Thanksgiving pics.

Happy Friday, blog buddies!
They call today "Black Friday" for some strange reason that I'd look up and explain for ya'll if I had the time, but I don't, so I won't. :) But, basically, "Black Friday" is a day for shopping and getting great deals, but I wouldn't know because I never ever go shopping on "Black Friday" because I'm not a HUGE fan of HUGE crowds. Plus, to be totally honest, the last thing I need to be doing is spending money on more clothes. I have WAY too much crap already.
Are YOU braving the crowds in hopes of scoring some major deals?
How was yesterday? Did you all have a great Thanksgiving?!? I did. I went to my best friend Kim's house for dinner and brought my version of my Nana's famous potatoes (see yesterday's blog entry for a recipe pictorial). Here are Kim and I right when I got there.

In the past, I've always hosted Thanksgiving at my house. But this year we held it at Kim's house because her parents came into town to be with their girls (Kim's sister, Morgan, lives in San Diego). Here's Kim and her dad and mom and sister.

What a cute family, right?!? They're all SO nice and I was honored to spend the holiday with them.
And I was THRILLED to not host dinner this year because, although I've really enjoyed it in the past, it was nice to not have to do any dishes!
I'm not going to lie - being on Celebrity Fit Club SERIOUSLY affected what I ate at Thanksgiving dinner. And I have to say, I was really proud of myself! I ate turkey first (because it's good lean protein) and then just a spoonful of the other things (like mashed potatoes, my Nana's potatoes, yams, etc...). Here I am enjoying a piece of turkey.

Did YOU eat too much, or were you well behaved?
Louise, my paw-fect little dog-ter, would have eaten everything if I would have let her. Here she is begging for a bite of my turkey. Can you blame her?

Speaking of Louise, she's getting a haircut at the dog groomer's RIGHT NOW! I love love love when she goes in to get a haircut because I think she looks SO cute when she's groomed. Of course, she looks cute ALL the time. Here's a picture of her in my bed this morning as she was waking up.

See - she's looking a bit raggedy and in need of a trim. I'll post her "after" picture tomorrow.
Okay, gang - enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend!
Until tomorrow!
