Happy Wednesday, blog buddies!

REMINDER!!! Tonight is the night! We're finally airing the segment I shot at the Lumberjack World Championships and, if I do say so myself, it's a pretty darn good one. In other news...

Wow-oh-wow, what a day I had yesterday. Seriously. We spent the first part of the day at the Cher auction, and the second part shooting a video montage of Tonight Show announcer John Melendez and I as Sonny and Cher (he as Cher, me as Sonny). I took some pictures of us dressed up in our outfits, but OH MY GOD they are too amazing and I don't want to ruin it by showing you the pictures here! You'll all just have to wait and see the segment for yourself...

OH MY GOD WE LOOKED SO SO SO GOOD! Okay - here's a teeny tiny sneak peak:

I did, however, manage to take some pictures of my day at the Cher auction. John and I shot the first part of this segment (which will air at the end of the month, I think) last week and needed to come back yesterday to go to the actual auction.

Being there was so so so cool. It was all Cher, all the time (Not that there's anything wrong with that).

For example, here I am standing next to one of the Bob Mackie gowns that Cher wore to the Oscars!

Then it was time to walk in to the actual auction, which was rather intimidating. Rich people were everywhere and would raise their little paddles whenever they wanted to bid on something. John and I, to say the least, did not exactly fit in.

But we dove in and got into the spirit of auction, "accidentally" spending $700 on a pair of Cher's size 7 polkadot platform shoes. Oopsies! Good thing it wasn't my money!

Now I'm running to NBC to do a quick voice over, running back to my house to iron something to wear (I'm thinking pinkish and floralish) and trying to find a moment in there to get my hair trimmed - it's suddenly super poofy.

I just read my bulletin from Ross~ Joey-- love the flyer that you made up for Ross for tonight-- you da man!!!

Holy Carpe Diem Batman! Seize the day and go get ready for your segment and taping. FUN! It is always fun to know what you are going to wear (pinkish and floralish) and then see your choice. Kinda like we get a backstage pass to all this TTS stuff.

The Cher episode sounds like a LOT of fun! Can't wait to see it. And I don't think the people at the auction were necessarily wealthy folks looking to add to their wardrobe. I bet it is people representing museums, Hard Rock Cafe and other places where Cher items will be appreciated. So YOU and John definitely fit in with the crowd! But I agree with Joey... who gets the polka dotted shoes? (Do they fit anyone? Did you try them on?)

When I lived in MN TTS came on at 10:30, here in CA it is 11:30. I hate that. I'm going to record it just in case I can't stay up. Besides, my daughter loves your segments, so I should be a good mom and record it for her, too.

Great segment with the lumberjacks! Wish I would have taped it. So, Ross...which guy did you think was hottest? The blonde who climbed the pole, the dark-haired guy with the goatee who threw the axe, or the other dark-haired guy who ran across the logs.

I think all of them were positively edible, but I liked the axe-thrower the best. Totally sexy guy. I'll bet they all smelled nice and manly, too!

Thanks Ross for another great segment. I won't give out any of the details for those who are waiting for the show
except that I had a good laugh with "MAKE A WISH"!!!!
