Happy Monday, blog buddies!
Wow oh wow - what a week I had!
From traveling to North Carolina to shoot a Tonight Show segment as a pit crew member at a NASCAR race, to a Journey concert on Saturday night and AIDS Walk LA yesterday, I am seriously pooped.
I'm taking today off and relaxing at home. By "relaxing" I mean "staying in my pajamas and watching E! True Hollywood Story on the couch".
As promised, here are a crap-load of pictures from my Friday (at the NASCAR RACE), Saturday (at the Journey concert) and Sunday (at AIDS Walk LA).
FRIDAY
Here are Scott, the Tonight Show's talent coordinator, and I on the side of the race track.

Here I am chatting up the driver for the Target car. Of course, I asked him the question I'm sure you're all dying to know. Yes, he does in fact get the 10% employee discount.

Here I am talking to my pit crew captain (who I nick-named "Pom Pom").

Here I am all gussied up in my pit crew outfit.

And here I am in the middle of the race.

Seriously you guys - I, like, really worked in the pit crew. Very impressive, if I do say so myself.
SATURDAY
Once back in LA on Saturday night, my best friend Kim took me to see one of my ALL TIME favorite bands EVER... JOURNEY!!!

Here we are being super-smiley as Journey sang behind us "When the lights go down in the city..."

I never drink beer because, personally, I think it kinda tastes like pennies. But when in Rome...

It's still not my favorite, but it wasn't bad at all.
We had SUCH a great time at the concert, as did the tons and tons of other people there.

SUNDAY
Speaking of tons and tons of people, here's a glimpse at the hundreds of thousands of people who attended AIDS Walk LA on Sunday.

I was honored to be there along with so many other people who wanted to stand up (or, er... walk, actually) 25 years after the disease was named to say "25 YEARS = TOO LONG". Here's a shot of some of the people walking in front of me.

I went with my best friend Kim and her fantastic sister Morgan.

Oh! And I got an email from Glynis, a well-known RossBlogger and former Blogger of the Month, telling me that she sent Jai from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy a MySpace message telling him that I would be walking in the AIDS Walk and that he should keep his eye out for me. Well, at one pit stop I saw a cute little doggie and asked the owner what the dog's name was. WELL, it turned out that the doggie's owner was Jai!

He said, "I knew you were going to be here because someone sent me a MySpace message." I said, "That was Glynis!"
Okay gang - I'm off to (finally) jump into the shower!
Until tomorrow!
