Happy Friday, blog buddies!!!

The Tonight Show is on hiatus all next week (reruns), so I don't have to go into work until after next week! I mean, I love love love my job, but who doesn't love love love a week off work, am I right?!?

I spent last night doing what I've done every other night this week: sitting with Louise in front of the TV and going to bed at like 10. Tonight, on the other hand, is a different story. I declare, here and now in front of all the citizens of blog land: I AM GOING OUT AND DOING SOMETHING FUN TONIGHT. Unless, of course, there's something really good on TV tonight.

As promised yesterday, here are some pictures of my day yesterday shooting part of an upcoming Tonight Show video blog segment at the "Dine with your Dog" event in Los Angeles. This event was to unveil a new dog food by Natural Balance that is edible for humans and to raise money for needy animals. Basically, they invited me and I went because I never turn down a party with free food (even if it's dog food).

The first thing Louise did when we got to the fancy LA hotel was go into the grass and make a "donation" of her own.

That's my dog-ter. I'm so proud.

Then it was time to put her in her lobster costume (there was a doggie costume contest, too) and walk the red carpet so the pup-arazzi could take our picture.

While we were on the red carpet, Louise and I copped a squat with Desperate Housewives star Nicolette Sheridan and her doggie, Oliver. Too cute, right?!?

Then I spotted one of my FAVORITE stars from one of my FAVORITE shows EVER, Melissa Gilbert from Little House on the Prairie. Don't think for a SECOND that I was going to let her get away without talking to me! Here I am with Louise, Melissa, and her 3 puppies.

Then it was time for the big moment - time to (gulp)... eat dog food. Luckily, I talked my new best friend Melissa Gilbert into chowing down with me! (Notice Dick Van Patten next to me).

It honestly didn't taste too bad! They had three different types and all were like a thick soup. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't order it at a restaurant, but I've tasted worse. I imagine they'd love it in prison.

Our blog friend Linda was at the event yesterday, too, with her organization Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation. Here I am with Linda, Louise, and a super-sweet pit bull mix named Tyler (who's up for adoption!).

Believe it or not, the dog food didn't fill me up and after the event I was still hungry. So the crew and I (along with Louise) went to lunch to celebrate a good day of shooting. I was quite the lucky guy at lunch, too, with two of my favorite bitches sitting on either side of me - Daria (my co-worker/office mate/friend) on my right:

Is that not the cutest thing ever (except for the fact that I look like a weird orange oompa loompa)?!?

Okay gang, I'm off to figure out what I'm doing tonight!

Ooh!!! That sounds like so much fun.... Dogs are fantastic... And little Miss Louise IS quite photogenic... I have a Great Dane and though he's a giant, I am sure ho would love to take naps with Miss Thang!

My three year old yorkie, "Bo" says that he loves the pictures of Louise. I have one question, WHY WOULD HUMANS WANT TO EAT DOG FOOD, EDIBLE OR NOT???!!!Maybe I'm missing something, but as much as I love my Bo, I don't think I would want to share his food!!!

Well now I know a question for Linda. When she made the movie The Exorcist, did she make some kind of deal with the devil so that she would look so fabulous forever????
Never mind. I could never ask her that. But she does look fabulous. And so does everyone else....except Melissa when she is eating the dog food. Looks like she threw up a little in her mouth.

I just wonder at what restaurant (I can't spell that word) you can take your dog to. Don't get me wrong, I think that it is a great idea but I stopped at Arby's today (yea, yea I know bad dammy) and while I was talking to the guy getting my drink my dog-son ate my sandwich. He is also half rottie and half pitt-bull so I can imagine what he would do at a restaurant. He can put his head on the table.

I always say that I feel like an oompa loompa when I eat too much. My ex-boyfriend saw the movie when he was little and is, to this day, terrified of oompa loompas. He has issues - hence the ex part. I'm kidding he is a good guy.

The weatherman segment was one of my favorites also, Maggie!

So I have to ask...the "Puparazzi" comment made me wonder, has anyone else seen the show on Lifetime called, "Off The Leash"?? It is a super awesome show about owners and their dogs (I believe there is 7 couples) and they compete in different ways. One of the episodes was a doogy red-carpet event!! And last week they had a photoshoot for the cover of a magazine...and the one that won was a great dane that was dressed like and old time butler! Yup, glasses and everything! It is so cute guys you HAVE to watch it!

WOW...sometimes typos are acceptible...but calling a "doggy" a "doogy" just doesn't seem acceptible to me, anyone else agree?? SORRY!

Hillary ~ my father in law has a dog named Dugan... they call him "Doogie".

Hey, if I were married to Bruce Boxleitner, I'd have mine pointing to the sky, too...'course, it would take a hoist and a forklift to get them pointing to the sky, but I digress...and I heart her, by the way...I'm new to the Nip/Tuck thing...thanks to Rosie, but I think I wanna catch reruns. I loved Tuesday's episode-only the second one I've seen (watched both of Ro's...). I can only imagine Half Pint and her boobies on "Nip"/Tuck...hehehehehe

Ross-- A lot of people have commented on them already but WOWsers to Ms. Gilberts milk makers! It inspires me to want to show off mine while I have em (currently nursing) as they will soon be heading south for more than the winter!

Hillary---I AM A DOOGIE!!!! When I went to college I was 17 and in pre-med and was called Doogie the whole year (33 now and nope not a doctor...lol)
