Just like every other time I have a segment air on The Tonight Show, here are some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from today. These pictures are HOT off the presses - we just taped tonight's episode of the show a few hours ago!

Here I am in my car as I drive through Burbank towards the NBC studios (umm... I should really keep my eyes on the road, huh?)

Here's the security gate at the NBC Burbank studios.

The first thing I do is go to my dressing room so I can put all my crap away - I always come with 4 different pairs of shoes, a bunch of different jeans, my camera and my laptop and an armful of different shirts because I can never decide what to wear.

After we've rehearsed the show, gotten into wardrobe and makeup and practiced everything, all there is to do is wait until Jay calls me out onto the stage. Here's a shot of a monitor backstage while Jay is doing his monologue.

Lance, the audio engineer on the show, puts a mic on me right before I go out on stage. Do I look nervous?!?

Right before Jay calls me out, Anthony (the writer who directs/produces all my segments) swings by to wish me luck.

And then the last minute mirror check. Anything in my teeth? No. Nose? No. Zipper up? Yes.

And, as promised, here are a couple pictures of John Melendez and I dressed up as Sonny and Cher filming what you saw on the show tonight...

John makes a pretty... umm... interesting woman, right?!? In a good way, I mean. And I, of course, am quite the stud muffin in that mustache (if I do say so myself...)

Early tomorrow morning I'm off to the airport to head to Charlotte, North Carolina to shoot a Tonight Show segment as a member of the NASCAR pit crew. Look for an early morning blog and, like I did on my last trip, I'll be blogging in the COMMENT section with my Blackberry. Fun, right?!?

i was trying to hard to stay awake to watch the segment, i woke up half way thru it. argh! but i saw you and john bidding on the shoes and your cher and sonny bit, hiliarious! loved it, going to try and catch all of the segment on the nbc site. safe travels ross, take care all and keep it real. maybe you can get the guys at nbc to get the show to come on earlier here in newfoundland instead of coming on at 1:05am. hard when someone has to be up at 7am every morning. :) love to all, have a great day!
