Heya, gang!

So I FINALLY made it to Wisconsin. I'm here shooting a Tonight Show segment at the Lumber Jack Festival. Is lumber jack two words or one? Lumberjack. Lumber jack. I have no idea. Oh well!

After getting up yesterday morning to catch an early flight to Minnesota, it turned out that the airline accidentally sent our camera equipment to Detroit. Oopsies! So rather than hopping on the road for the 3 hour drive to Hayward, Wisconsin right away, we decided to kill some time by going to... THE MALL OF AMERICA!!!

You guys -- this place is huge. HUGE. I was in heaven!

After walking around shopping and riding roller coasters for about 6 hours (and spending a little too much money even though I got everything on sale -- I'm a thrifty shopper!), it was time to go. We finally got our equipment back from the airline and FINALLY made it to the hotel in Hawyard by 2 in the morning. It was a looooooong day. Luckily, I have a late call time today so I got to sleep in a little bit. Now I have 5 minutes before I have to meet the crew in the lobby so we can go meet all the local lumber jacks (lumberjacks) at the festival!

Wish me luck, blog buddies! I brought my camera and the battery's charged, so expect pictures of my experience to be posted soon!
