The Bog
October 27, 2007We managed to slip away for a few hours later that night and joined some of the Scranton locals at the little bar known as The Bog. As you could imagine, the town was already a buzz that local celebrities were in town. So when stretch limousines pulled up to the back door of a bar, people begin to gather around. We managed to be whisked inside through the back entrance along with a few of the writers from the show, but Oscar and Brian were trapped behind the bar. They did what any other person would do in that situation; they began to serve drinks to the thirsty fans. The bar got more and more crowded as word spread of the famous visitors inside.
The band got an unexpected surprise when banjo player Ed Helms got up on stage and began to jam along to their tunes. The crowd rushed the stage with flashing cameras just to get a photo of a dimly lit stage with Ed front and center.
A couple of hours later, we all managed to leave The Bog and we can almost guarantee that the little Scranton bar will never be the same again!
