Cast Q&A Panel

October 27, 2007

Over 3,000 people managed to score seats to the highly anticipated Talent Q&A session in the University of Scranton gymnasium. As everybody took their seats, they were treated to an exclusive Season 4 gag reel from the show that revealed some of the funny bloopers that never made it to air. After watching The Office highlights, the eager audience quickly rose to their feet when the scheduled talent showed up and took their seats on the stage.

Besides the actors, the audience was also treated to something extra special when show Executive Producer Greg Daniels also participated.

It was very obvious the amazing chemistry that the entire cast shared with each other. They were constantly making each other laugh and in return, making the audience laugh. Some of the most memorable moments from the session were Ed’s singing of "Rainbow Connection", Craig’s constant flirting with Mindy, and Creed explaining how he had come to only have four toes on one foot. Creed managed to also show us that there is a very thin line between the actor and the character.

Q&A was my favorite event, however, next time think a bit more creatively about the pre-show. The Jazz Ensemble was pure torture. We were there for The Office - not an ad for U of S. You should have had an episode of the office playing or some kind of fun remix of the funniest moments. You missed a great chance to further bond fans.

Also, next time you should have a more detailed schedule in the packet.

The one emcee at the Q&A - the one on the committee - wasn't suited for public speaking and didn't quite get that we were all there for the show and not to find out more about how Scranton is a part of the show. THe audience questions were far better than the prepared questions too.

The Q&A was awesome but I was VERY disappointed about the way the entrance was set up. My boyfriend and I, who are poor college students and literally scraped up whatever money we had to buy a whimsy intern pass for choice of ONE event, waited for an hour and a half in line (time that could have been spent somewhere downtown enjoying the festivities) and we were only about 20 people back. When the doors finally opened up everyone just stampeded in, in random order, cutting everyone in front of them. And there was no security to stop anyone. These cutters casually walked up about 5 minutes before the doors opened and got better seats than those waiting for hours. My suggestion for next year would be that entrance is single file, like everything else fair in the world, so those that have been waiting patiently get what they deserve. Like I said before, the Q&A was awesome, but the whole experience getting into it really put a damper on the fun.

Ptz cameras can frequently be useful in this scenario

It is strange to find out how many different blogs there are about this topic I don't know if I'll ever need to be back, but it is awesome to know I found the one that has a lot of valuable information if this ever comes up for me another time

We are a group of volunteers and starting a new initiative in a community. Your blog provided us valuable information to work on.You have done a marvellous job!

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
