Actually, it was more like an interrogation. But, in my defense, Lily is like family, and I felt it very important we learn more about Brandau and his intentions with her. I asked him to the morgue on the pretense of some case-related morgue business. He came to the lab and I had him sit. He was a bit apprehensive when I strapped him to the polygraph machine (which I 'borrowed' from the police department. Don't tell Woody). I started with questions regarding his past long-term relationships. Mr. Brandau hasn't had many. No surprise there. I asked if there were any skeletons we should know about. Other than the fact that he still sleeps with a nightlight, no prurient or dark secrets to report. Also, I sense some serious mother issues lurking near the surface. I wonder what that's about. Then I moved on to Lily. Although, I was skeptical about Jeffrey at first, it seems the chap genuinely cares for her. I must admit, I feel a little conflicted about this. Knowing our Bug still harbors feelings for Lily, part of me had been hoping to find fault with Mr. Brandau. But is he really Lily's soul mate? We'll see. I know a lot of you have been enjoying my webcam footage. I can assure you, there's plenty more where that came from. I've even kicked it up a notch by tapping into the morgue's surveillance system. Hope Dr. M doesn't find out. Cheers!
