You are a glimmering bright spot in an otherwise dreary day.  It is pouring rain.  My commute took over an HOUR due to traffic delays throughout our fair city.  Everyone at the morgue is in a grumpy mood.  My attempts to cheer up my coworkers have been received with a less than enthusiastic response.  Jordan even threatened to disconnect my brand new T6000 audiovisual transformer to get rid of me.   My only solace has been the Boston Police Department's progress on our case, the Beacon Hill murders.  Here's the most up-to-date info.

Rayleen Amber Mills when re-interviewed admitted that she had a naughty sexual affair with Mike Chasa, husband of Leigh Chasa.  The little minx said that she and Mr. Chasa "fell in love at first sight." They began their forbidden escapades several weeks after she started working as a waitress at Le Chasas Caf�.  She contradicted her uncorroborated original statement on 3-5-02 that she "went for a long walk" during the time Leigh Chasa was shot to death.  Ms. Mills now claimed that Mr. Chasa asked her to meet him at the Sahara motel for an early morning rendezvous on the day of the murder.  Afterward, Ms. Mills went immediately to the restaurant to collect her last check.  She remained consistent in her claim that she found Leigh Chasa, dead, and had nothing to do with her untimely demise.  Additionally, Ms. Mills denied any knowledge of the fire at Mr. Chasas residence.

When confronted with Ms. Mills' recent statement, Mr. Chasa broke down and explained that on 3-5-02 he was not "doing pickups" for perishable grocery items as he initially claimed.  He now stated that between the hours of 5:00 AM and 7:15 AM, he was at the Sahara motel with Ms. Mills.  Mr. Chasa wanted it included in the official record that "Leigh was the love of my life.  I just made a horrible mistake."  He maintained that he did not kill his wife. 

A motel clerk at the Sahara Motel confirmed Mike Chasa and Rayleen Amber Mills checked in at 5:20 AM and checked out at 6:45 AM.  A former guest in the adjacent room identified them as the couple whose loud lovemaking disturbed him during her stay at the motel.  Boston Police Department has ruled Mike Chasa and Rayleen Amber Mills out as suspects in the murder of Leigh Chasa.  However, BPD continues to investigate potential arson charges against Ms. Mills. 

Well, that leaves us with a pool of six suspects.  We must be vigilant.  One of them is a murderer.
