(Don't take that literally like I know a lot of you will. It's just my motto for the year.) "Everything will be fine in '09... if not, then we do it in '010." Will we say '010, or just 10? We better figure this out before it gets closer and everyone is not on the same page. This worries me.
Also, according to historians, the Aztec calendar will end in 2012... so make sure you schedule all your Aztec doctor appointments in the next 3 years... after that they are all booked.
How was everyone's holidays? Again, I got stranded in an airport. This time at beautiful Washington Dulles. After spending over 4 hours in customer service, a night in a hotel, an enchanting interaction with a bitter rental car agent, 10 hours waiting at 4 different gates to fly standby, my name was the 13th standyby-er to be called to get on a plane to Buffalo. Needless to say, I wasn't happy until the plane got in the air. I put my iPod on when instructed it was safe and the first song in the shuffle was The Beach Boys' Sloop John B, which the lyrics, "I feel so broke up, I wanna go home... the captain is sure to let me go home... let me go home," I thought were just fitting. It was a good moment. Then the pregnant Russian girl next to me began to throw up in her barf bag. Couldn't write it better myself.
Speaking of writing, I assure you that those last two posts were me. It's not like I have a team of writers that I hired during the strike last year to help me read and respond to all of you. I mean it would be ridiculous. It's not like we had a meeting on February 12th, 2008 at Barney's Beanery on Santa Monica Blvd. at 11am to draw up contracts, where the 4 of them (3 males, one female named Kristen who ordered a very expensive Cobb Salad--I mean how can you charge $12 for a SALAD, I mean it's basically just lettuce and other veggies. Is there a vegetable shortage?) swore they would never talk about working for me… that is just asinine.
Yours truly,
Nickolas Greico
By the way, check out my video on Funnyordie.com. And be sure to vote FUNNY, unless you wanna make me cry at my computer -- I don't think tears are good for electronics. I'm pretty sure this is the phone call you've all been waiting for. Enjoy.

Nickolas Greico you are adorably funny. It's not the Casting call I wanted, but you sure gave me a good laugh. Ha Ha :)
You sure fooled me. I thought you were sending us Bloggers a message about becoming Contestants.
It is wonderful to see a new post from you. I am hoping Mr. Banker will surprise us with a new post also.
I am up late because my youngest daughter has a cold and I am taking her cough medicine to her.
Well, it is so cold here in Ohio I am going to bed and pull the comfort over my head until the sun shines again. Goodnight.

Wow, Nick. Where have you been?
Oh, right-you were stuck in DC. (well, if it was Dulles, it wasn't actually DC, but closer to Chantilly/Reston VA. I know-I lived there for many years).
Anyway, did you see LB? Wasn't she fantastic? Did you get to meet her? She's a real celebrity now.
Nick, speaking of DC and Dulles-I'm heading there on Wednesday to see my new grandson.
Yes, Yes-I should have picked a better date. It is going to be a nightmare traveling at that time. Grrrr.
I'd have a better chance picking the million dollar case than getting a rental car there. Hint hint hint.
Nick, so glad to see you back and posting.

Dawn, thanks for telling Nick about the new grandbabe.
Nick-altho he is named after someone in my DIL's family, his NICKname (lol, that's funny), is straight from the fossil hound-his dad. Just google Hurricane Isabel and whale, and you can see the story of the rare HUGE fossil my son found after Hurricane Isabel. It is currently on display in a Maryland museum.
Anyway, Nick, since you are back, can you please answer some of our many many questions (we were busy while you were away) from your last blog?
Thanks.

I highly doubt that Nick Greco even works for this show anymore, because the comment says "posted by NBC community team" at the very bottom of this post. I don't think his assistance is needed anymore, since the cases on the daytime version are carried by ordinary people such as you and me, and then Tameka and Patricia carry them backstage once they are opened.
By the way, I applied for the daytime version of this show. And I told them on my application about my 2 musical talents, and about my road trip to audition for this show on Claudia Jordan's 35th birthday(April 12, 2008) in Salt Lake City. I have a good feeling that I will be either one of the last contestants of Season 4 or one of the 1st contestants of Season 5.
On a side note, I'm also very happy that my city of Albuquerque was announced on the radio as the 5th-fittest city in America. Denver was the 4th-fittest...and the #1 fittest city in America is Salt Lake City(hmmm...what a huge coincidence that I went there 10 months ago, from the 5th-fittest city in America, lol).
Dollydeb, what is the name of the Maryland museum that displays the fossil your son found after Hurricane Isabel? How are little T-Rex and his mother doing?

But Dawn, you really have to consider how it could be that you reach somewhere around 250 to 300, the doctor says at some point this is too much (you are visiting him sometime!), and then go to 350, and by now people are noticing. And you continue to go to 400. And 450. Without doing anything. Etcetera.
Explain that, Dawn. Although he should not have been rude and coarse, there is also no reason why people are this way.

Hello Nickolas,
This is great! Your blog ended with me yesterday,
and now starts the new day with me. It's like starting one's day off with their favorite bowl of cereal, Just call me Snap! Crackle! Pop!
It's still cold here in Ohio, but a few degrees warmer. I love Spring the most everthing in fresh and new. Fall is everying getting ready to sort of hibernate. Ahhhh! The best thing about Winter are the holidays, beautiful clothes, and TV. Summer is garden time, cookouts, and water sports.
What is your favorite time of the year Nickolas, and my bloggin friends?

Good Afternoon Nick! and all my blogging buds!!
Andrew on your comment to me about the man that was extremely heavy . It is'nt something new for that guy, don't you think he knows everyday is a struggle for him to just get around and he sees his self in the mirror daily He does not need people telling him he is to heavy!! I work in the medical field and see obesse alot!! It is not always cause the person eats to much or does not exercise some people to have a medical problem. Yes people should watch the in take of food and exercise I for one have struggled with wieght my whole life, I don't neen some one telling me I am over wieght. We strangers on this blog don't know or realize what that mans situation is so we must not judge him. Try to think how would you feel if that had been you or one of your family members.
Thats all on that subject Andrew B..
I am ready for more DOND Prime time!!
Does anyone think they will ever put season 1-3 on DVD for us to buy???? I hope so I will be first in line to purchase the DVD!!!

Andrew B. brought up a good point. It's so sad that many Americans let themselves gain so much weight. But what's worse is that many people are too proud and ignorant to admit that they have a physical problem.
We Americans have more overweight people in our country than anywhere else in the whole world, and we should all be ashamed about this. Many restaurants such as McDonald's need to realize that this epidemic is partly their own fault for serving foods full of saturated fats. The rest of the world looks at America and thinks, "Don't these people respect themselves enough to get in shape?? Don't they care about their own bodies?". 71 million Americans are overweight or obese, and I think we need to change our own lifestyles to reverse this trend. I think that the root of this problem is that we invest so much time and energy in taking care of others that we neglect ourselves. We need to put ourselves on our own priority lists. Another cause of this obesity epidemic may be that many people eat food to comfort themselves when they're sad, depressed, stressed out, or bored.
Dawn Mays said, "Try to think how would you feel if that had been you or one of your family members." OK, Dawn, I'll tell you how I feel...I feel very sad that my own sister is overweight, and angry that she doesn't take good care of herself. I've encouraged her to come running with me for a few miles but she's too busy to do it. I've tried to practice what I preach by running 5 miles every alternate day. I don't want to become another statistic, and I certainly don't want to die of obesity anytime soon.

Good morning all!
Andres that is all you can do is ask your sister to exercise, I hate exercise I hate to sweat. I will walk in the spring and summer. I too have had a wieght issue but over the years I am very happy with myself and my image. A person must like or love themselves before anyone else can love or like them. Even at my heaviest I was happy and popular with family and friends I have never let wieght stop me from living life.
That does not mean everyone is the same.
Each person has to make up thier mind and do what makes each of them happy.
Americans are very overweight that is because of all fast food and we have the money to buy all the junk food that most countries dont have.

Good Morning Nickolas,
How are you today?
And to answer that poser question you posted, we will just say 10 for next year. You only add the zero with a single digit.
If you happen to bump into Mr. Banker, take him to a computer to read your blog so he can read this please.
H - Hello Mr. Banker, how are you?
E - Everything alright?, you haven't posted in awhile, but then again whats new about that.
L - Like to hear from you on your blog, remember the blog?
L - Love to see you soon (your shadow that is) if Casting ever calls. Heard anything?
O - Obviously, I am waiting, and still hopefully waiting ever since May 2006. How much longer?

Welcome back Nick, what do you do now with DOND, do you just manage the two models? Easy job!!!!!!
DOND, please give me a call so I can dance for you and sing to the banker.
It has finally warmed up in MN it is now almost 20 degrees above 0, heat wave.

Nickolas,
Tell me do you recognize it?
The old sponger Banker will be
On stage with his Bloggers and Me
Around Culver City town we did roam
Practicing saying "Deal" or "No Deal" all night
Got into a race seeing who had "NBC" in sight
Well we feel so happy to be Contestants we broke up
Tears were flowing every where we didn't want to go home
So hoist up your offers and let them sail
You'll have to wait and see how the offers sets
Call Howie and put some more offers ashore
Let see if I go home, if the offers right I'll go home
YES!!! I wanna go home, yeah yeah
Well I feel so great I broke up
Tears were flowing every where, I wanna go home
Mr. Banker fell in his seat, because he got skunked
An unsuccessful ending to a struggle of wits Banker got junked
Mr. Banker started daydreaming so it would take him away
Howie and the Modles said Mr. banker needed to be alone
Why dont you leave him alone, yeah yeah
Losing a Million Dollars makes him feel so broke up he wants to send you on home
The poor Banker he just stares while he just sits
And threw away his list of his tricks
And then he took his phone and hit it till it was torn
He should just go on home
Why doesn't he just go on home
This is the worst money loss ride he's ever been on
So hoist up a seditive to Mr. Banker and let it sail
See how he's fairing before the mainsail sets
Call for his Bloggers on stage once more
Let us go home, let us go home
We won alot of his money and we wanna go home, let us go home
Were going on home, yes were going on home
To spend all our money we have to go home.

Judy, congratulations on losing weight with nutrisystem! I need nutrisystem for men, but it's too expensive for me right now. I've tried so many things to lose weight...I've tried biking, running, those green-tea pills, hydroxycut, eating healthier foods, and working out 3 times per week, but nothing has helped me lose the stubborn belly fat that I have around my waist. There have been times when I just wanted to quit trying to get in shape. But I do love to workout, and I will never give up on myself. I'm determined to lose 20 pounds of stubborn body fat by the end of 2009. My personal philosophy is that you have to respect yourself before others can respect you, because my own body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I'm not a fitness fanatic by any means, but if we don't respect ourselves, how can we expect others to respect us?
Jan, I'm glad to hear that the weather is improving in Minnesota. 2 of my maternal aunts live in Minneapolis, so I have to get in touch with them to see how they survived this bitterly-cold weather in the Great Lakes regions.
I hope to see some of you in the very near future on the daytime version of this show. I want to be the very last DOND contestant of Season 4.

Nickolas,
I want to have an Inauguration. I want to be on the "Deal Or No Deal" stage and take the Contestant oath for playing the game.
"I Linda Caroots do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully play the "Deal or No Deal" Game, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Case I have chosen from the 26 Cases from whence it came. I Linda Caroots will also officially open a new game with in the institution of "Deal Or No Deal" going head to head with Mr. Banker.
"Now let the game begin"!!! "I only have one chance to give." "The Contestant is coming, The Contestant is coming." "Read my lips, "No more losers" "For score and seven cases ago Mr.Banker brought forth, upon this "Deal Or No Deal" stage, a new offer, conceived in stinginess, and dedicated to buying the Contestants case for less and sending them home, and that no one is equal to the Banker."
"We Need Change", can we do it? "Yes We Can"?
Call me to be a Contestant and you will see!!!
"Now let the game begin"!!!

Thanks Andres it is costly to be on the nutrisystem program and still buy food for the rest of my family.
That's why I'd like to see them do something like splenda did that would be more than enough to cover the cost plus a makeover as in wardrobe.
I was comfortable being 220 for 15 years but the closer I get to 50, next month, the more lethargic I've been and I was missing out on too many things that I love to do after work, walk, ride bike, cross country snow sking, dancing, climbing trees, etc. I do feel better, my memory is better, work is better I have more energy.
2009 is all about Changing things around for the Better.

Greeting Nickolas,
I am posting something I just posted on Mr.Banker's blog just in case Casting reads your blog.
I'm emotional, yes Casting it's true
Cause I've been waiting for a call from you
Just like all who wants to become a Contestant
I can tell you how I would play the game
With Mr. Banker being so classy in his hideaway
And I would be your classic Contestant aiming to win
That's why Casting, you've got to pit me against him
Because, it's not all about what's on the money board
But playing well with the offers and the case that's yours
Hey it's all about what's in sight that's the name of the game,
We're begging for the call to be a Contestant, and we're not ashamed
Future Contestants is what we want to be.
How about starting first with me!!!

Nickolas,
I thought this might be interesting to you about the song you heard on the plane.
The John B. was an old sponger boat whose crew were in the habit of getting notoriously merry whenever they made port. It was wrecked and sunk at Governor's Harbour in Eleuthera, the Bahamas, in about 1900.
Hello all you faithful bloggers. Here is a little food for thought:

Hi everyone!
I'm continuing hoping and praying that DOND will call. I need any extra little push to get past this financial mess I'm in. (I know that sounds familiar to a lot of people right now). I would jump for joy to get $10,000 like LB, it would be enough to take some pressure off.
The inaugeration was pretty awesome...2 million people in one place, wow, how did they get around?
I KEEP MY HAPPY FEET GOING, AND PRACTICE MY SONG FOR THE BANKER, AND HOPE THAT THEY DIDN'T FORGET MY PHONE NUMBER....
Another food for thought...

LOL @ "3. My typed words on this blog have bad breath."!! Linda, you crack me up!! When I have a girlfriend, I hope that she'll have a good sense of humor like you.
I recently started my last semester of college at the University of New Mexico, which is why I've been absent from this blog for a little while. God willing, I will graduate on May 16, 2009 with my bachelor's in mechanical engineering!! I'm so thrilled to be done with school forever!! I've applied to several large engineering corporations this past November, so now I have to be patient and wait for a recruiter to call me. Wouldn't it be great if I got a call from DOND, right after I got another call from a corporate recruiter?? That would be an amazing blessing for me. I'm done with all of my homework for now, so now I have some time to be telling you ladies what's going on with my life. Maybe one day, little T-Rex(dollydeb's grandson), will decide to become a mechanical engineer such as myself. I can teach him everything I know about heat transfer and finite-element analysis. The 1st word I could teach him to say would be "mass", lol.
I hope to see one of you ladies very soon on the daytime version of this show. Believe it or not, I got in touch with Claudia Jordan(case #1) through MySpace. She told me that she has no idea when NBC will decide to air the Prime Time episodes, she told me that the NBC executives don't tell the models anything about their broadcasting schedule. But she will be on the Celebrity Apprentice on NBC starting March 1st. So keep your eyes peeled for Claudia.
To the DOND casting directors: What are you waiting for?? Please don't make us wait as long as LB to be on this show! LB waited 2 YEARS to be on this show, so I hope that I don't have to wait that long to be up there with Howie Mandel. I need to be up there to pay off my parents' mortgage once and for all...$50K would suffice.

I am still here too....I posted on January 22nd that wasn't that long ago.
I guess I feel at times that DOND have forgotten us here. I hope they aren't going to quit the show because I haven't been on yet and I told them in my audition that I would get one. Well I haven't been on yet so I know that they can't quit the show. I am waiting with happy feet and great anticipation. Course I've practiced my singing too, not sounding much better, but I really don't care if I sing off key for the banker, because I will just be happy to win anything.
Have a great week....

Good Morning Nickolas,
Do you believe you reap what you soe? I am soeing words of wishes and dreams. I am hoping I'll reap a Contestant spot from Casting. Do you think it will work?
Like a lover of the show, I've watched "Deal Or No Deal" for so long
Now I'm wondering if Casting will ever call, oh please tell me I am wrong
Oh "Deal Or No Deal", here I am, signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be
Then that time I went to Indiana to meet Dollydeb, Kim and that was a high
Then back in Ohio still dreaming and wanting to be a Contestant I am still going to try
Oh Casting, here I am, signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be
Here I am Mr. Banker
Oh, you've got the future in your hand
I say, I'm signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be
Here I am Casting,
Oh, you've got the future in your hand
I say, I'm signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be
I've wrote alot of different things that I really love and hoped all of you enjoyed
I have seen alot of TV shows, but they weren't as exciteing as, "Deal Or No Deal"
Oh "Deal Or No Deal", here I am, signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be
Oh "Deal or No Deal" you set my soul on fire
That's why I know you are my only TV show desire
Oh "Deal Or No Deal", here I am, signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be
I could be a broken person for trying to become a Contestant for so long, but here I am
With hoping, dreaming, and wishing to become a Contestant in the future, I'll say again
Here I am "Deal Or No Deal" signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours, a Contestant want to be

Hi Nick and Fellow bloggers:
This is a bittersweet post.
Nick, can you please tell Mr. Banker that he missed the opportunity to meet and compete with the best dachshund in the world. My beautiful dachshund, Casey, crossed Rainbow Bridge on Saturday. She was in the arms of my hubby. I was here in VA and was not able to say my good-byes.
If you click my name, you will see Casey's audition for DOND a bit more than a year ago. She was definitely contestant quality.

What a huge coincidence that dollydeb's doxie had the same name as one of the DOND models(Kasie Head, who used to hold case #16 during the 1st 2 seasons), but it's spelled Casey. Dollydeb, how old was your doxie? I've had my German-shepherd-mix Duke since February 2001, but he's such a bundle of energy!! He runs all over the yard and I've had to take him out for a walk several times to burn off all that energy he has. Casey's death reminds me of that cartoon movie "All Dogs go to Heaven". She was so adorable, I'm sorry that she's gone, dollydeb. I will miss my Duke terribly too once he "crosses Rainbow Bridge".
So I believe that dollydeb was truly destined to be on this game show, because her doxie was named after a former DOND model, because she lives on a street named after one of Howie's daughters, and because she has a yellow t-shirt full of signatures. I would love to put my own John Hancock on that t-shirt, dollydeb.
The weather here in New Mexico is getting colder, it's getting very cloudy outside and there's a bitterly-cold wind out there. Our weather is so unpredictable...it could be snowing one day and the sun will come out on the following day, lol.

Hello again,
I forgot to ask everyone something.
We have had alot of snow here in Ohio since yesterday, and exspecting alot more too!!! Snow wouldn't keep me from going to California to be a "DOND" Contestant if I got a call from Casting.
Who are you pulling for in the Super Bowl this Sunday?
PS: GO!!! Arizona Cardinals? or Pittsburgh Steelers? Will the Birdies droppings bring down the Steelers? or Will the Steelers scorch the Birdies feathers for a win?

Linda, I'm rooting for neither one of the NFL teams that you mentioned. I'm actually a little upset that the state of New Mexico does not have an NFL or NBA team...what's up with that??? I'll just watch the Super Bowl and see what happens. Well, I have to finish my homework for Partial Differential Equations, we need this powerful math tool for things such as fluid mechanics and heat transfer. For example, you could say that the heat transfer through a wall is a function of distance and temperature--Q(x, T). So I'll try to write back later in a few days. I've come up with my own equation for being on this show:
d/dt[M(x,t)*dm/dx]-d/dx[b($, x)] = $387,000
M(x,t) is a money function dependent on time t and position x. It says that the partial derivative with respect to time of the product of a function M(x, t) and its position derivative, minus the position derivative of the banker's offers equals my dream prize of $387,000.

Dawn Mays, I believe that anyone can become great at math and science...you just need to focus on it and practice. Practice makes perfect. For everyone else living in the mid-western portion of the United States, I hope that this winter storm will loosen its icy, bitterly-cold grip on you. Wouldn't it be great if God would miraculously grant someone the power to control weather? You could be like Superman and blow away the clouds that carry cold condensation. New Mexico is feeling a little bit of that winter weather...there's a very cold wind in the air right now. And during the night it gets so cold that we have to bring in our Duke(he's a German-shepherd mix) into the house so that he won't be shivering out there.
Dollydeb, I have some questions for you. I hope you read this comment:
1. What is the average lifespan of a dachshund?
2. How old, in calendar years, was your Casey when she passed away?
3. Did your doxie die from old age or from a disease?
4. How often did you take your Casey to the veterinarian?
I was hoping that LB would stick around on these blogs just for the fun of it, even though she's already been up there with Howie. I liked her term of endearment for the banker--"banker boo", LOL.
Oh, and dollydeb, I think that New Mexico is the TRUE sunshine state because we get beautiful, sunny weather throughout most of the year, I would say about 300 days annually of great sunshine.
But most importantly, our new Democratic Congress passed Obama's request for an economic bailout of 819 BILLION DOLLARS. Most of this money is going to be used to create or save millions of new jobs, according to President Barack Obama. Not even the DOND banker has handled 0.001% of that EPIC amount of money, so I cannot fathom why he whines or complains when someone wins the million. He cried like a baby when Jessica and Tomorrow each won that million-dollar cash prize, LOL. He's such a devious character, lol.

What's up, Nick Greco? How many miles can you run, continuously without stopping? I ran 7 miles today because I'm trying to burn off that stubborn belly fat around my midsection, and right now I'm absolutely EXHAUSTED. I've never been obese, but I've always been a husky guy, even since my childhood when I used to wear big, bulky glasses like Steve Urkel, LOL. I don't understand how some people are able to run marathons of 10 miles or more, I would certainly not be able to do it...they must be in perfect shape. Apart from exercising, my favorite hobby is playing the violin when I'm not hitting the books. Right now, I'm trying to learn Bruch's violin concerto in G minor, opus 26...to be honest, it's the most difficult violin piece I've ever played in my life.
The only big news that I have is that I'm only 3 and a half months away from graduating with my BSME! So I'm very excited about that. God willing, I'll be able to find a good job even though we are in the midst of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. I truly hope that this new $819 billion approved by Congress will rescue our economy, and in turn it will restore the GLOBAL economy as well.

Hi Nick:
Well, time to leave sunny FL and head back to snowy MI.
It was great here-temps in the 60s and lots of sunshine. It's funny-so many folks complained about the cold, but we loved it! (all a matter of perspective)
Reluctant to go home-to say the final good-byes to my precious Dachshund. Tomorrow she goes to Noah's Ark. Poor lil' puppy.
Back to DOND-you know how they did the world tour last year.
How about asking the powers-that-be for a U.S. tour-great for American morale!

DOND casting directors, Scott St. John, Josh Silberman, and John Quinn: LB waited more than 2 YEARS to be on this show, and I believe that many other people such as Linda Caroots, Dollydeb, and Dawn Mays have been ANXIOUSLY waiting forever as well. How long will you make ME wait to be on this show? Will you wait until after our house gets foreclosed before you realize how much I need to be on this show? What can I possibly do to be on that DOND stage with Howie Mandel, besides having driven more than 1,200 miles just to audition for this show all the way to Salt Lake City? If Congress bailed out Wall Street, then I say that DOND should definitely send each of us(me, Linda, Dawn, dollydeb) a good bailout package, if you know what I mean. It'll truly be a darn shame if none of us don't make it to this stage by the end of Season 4. I know that there are many thousands of people that audition for this show every year, but I think that we loyal bloggers definitely deserve our chance at winning $1M.

I believe a Contestant we'll be.
I believe that all of Nickolas's BFF's smallest wishes
Will be heard,
I believe that Casting at NBC's "Deal Or No Deal"
Hears every word,
Every time I hear a new phone ring I cry,
Or check my e-mail, or see the DOND, oh my,
Then I know why,
I believe a Contestant we'll be.
PS: Isn't that right Nickolas? Nickolas, Right?
PS: Click on my name to see another darling commerical from the Super Bowl. Watch till the end.

Morning Nickolas,
I just love typing your name. Such a wonderful sounding name.
Dawn, no need to worry. That has happened before. For example refering to the "People's Choice Award" and "Emmy's". It's just that the anouncements were so far in advance. Don't work up a sweat about it. I say this because I wonder if Mr. Banker works up a sweat when he is on the verge of losing Millions. Ha Ha He always acts so calm and collected. Oh well, it's just a thought.

Linda, thanks for the wishes for sunshine-it must have worked because today was a sunny balmy day (if you call 40 balmy-but compared to what we've had lately, it's an improvement).
Nick, I guess I'm glad that CA got some rain today, but I hope Mr. Banker didn't get rained on in his office in the sky.
Dawn, I'm keeping your lil' one in my thoughts.

Hello Nickolas, Casting, and All My Bloggin Friends,
I've had the time of my life trying to become a "DOND" Contestant
We know our chances are resting in Casting's finger tips
So Casting take care of your fingers keep them healthy
Keep those nails cut as not to get any hangnails, which could cause
Them to be ripped off to the quick and make them become very sore
Which would hinder you from making those hopefully life changing calls
So let your fingers feel the spirit, and start making those calls for the
Return of primetime ""Deal Or No Deal". I have been trying since
May 2006 to become a "Deal Or No Deal" Contestant, and still trying.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo,
Get On Your Mark, Get Ready, Get Set,...... Go, Start Dialing!!!!!!!!!!!

While the weather is improving for all of you "mid-westies", the weather over here in New Mexico took a turn for the worse. Yesterday, it got very cloudy and windy...well, a strong gust of wind actually blew our backyard gate off from its hinges!! So our dog got out(again), but he came back eventually and we had to keep him in the house until the winds subsided. Unlike dollydeb's deceased doxie, our dog is a German shepherd-Alaskan husky mix. And even today, it's still very cloudy and cold. Now I understand the cold weather that you people had to endure.

Hello Nick,
With all the excitement and feelings that "NBC" has opened
And all the worrying and assumptions we have made
Our Primetime "Deal or No Deal" bond will never be broken
All the true life stories, and enjoying the Supporters will never fade
And knowing it's possible my day faceing Mr.Banker as a Contestant
Is not as farfetched as we used to think, like the ant who thought he
Could move a rubber tree plant, because he had high hopes it so apparent
With exuberance, and lots, and lots of wishing a Contestant I could be

I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers here, but I feel that Valentine's Day is completely over-rated. What I'm trying to say is that no marital or pre-marital relationship is perfect because no human being is perfect, people will always have conflicts between themselves and everyone has his/her own character flaws in a relationship. It's how those conflicts are resolved that actually strengthens a relationship. I was watching the Suze Orman show a few weeks ago on CNBC, and it seems to me that the #1 reason people get divorced in America is because of a financial conflict. And it's funny that we take ONE DAY, ONE SINGLE DAY out of the entire year to pretend that everything is perfect. Or maybe I feel this way about Valentine's Day because I've never had a girlfriend :-(. That's probably my own fault. I'm going to try and get a girlfriend before 2009 ends. I hope to God that she'll be the right girl for me.
Samantha Mattice-Lowery, I think NBC has DOND model auditions all the time in Los Angeles, CA. But you'll have to scour this website a little bit to get some exact information.
I have one question for Nick too...When does Howie Mandel retire from hosting this show, so that I can become the new DOND host?? I could teach him everything I know about mechanical engineering, and he could teach me everything he knows about hosting this game show. LOL

For Nickolas, Mr. Banker, Casting, "NBC", and "Deal Or No Deal" Bloggers,
Imagine there's no "Deal Or No Deal"
It's really hard even if you try
No stage or stairs are under us
Above us only Mr. Banker's room in the sky
Imagine all the longing to be Contestants people
Waiting for a show like "Deal Or No Deal" today
Imagine there are no Supporters
It's really really hard to do
No one to give you advice or to cheer for
And no excitement too
Imagine all the longing to be Contestant people
Living life dreaming for a show like "DOND" to be
You may say that I'm a "Deal Or No Deal" dreamer
But I am truly not the only Contestant wanna be I'm just one
I hope someday you will call me, and the other Bloggers an join us
The world will be so excited to see that all of Mr. Banker's Bloggers have won
Imagine Mr. Banker's "BFF's" as his posting possessions
I wonder and really hope you ("Deal Or No Deal" Casting ) can
No need to delay calling us to satisfy our need to be Contestants hunger
A brotherhood of Mr. Banker's Bloggers posting for this man
Imagine all the longing to be Contestant people
Sharing the "Deal Or No Deal" stage one at a time for all the world to see
PS: Just Imagine Casting : )

Dawn, like you I want to feel the pain and joy of the full hour of primetime "Deal Or No Deal" Contestants. Also I want to be a Contestant that feels the pain and joy of winning too. Can I get a "What What" from all that feels that way to? That includes you to Nickalos. Gosh, I just love your name.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

For primetime DOND....I've given you all the information you needed to put on the best themed show you've had on Primetime TV. Its polka time with Howie and Jan! It would be so much fun.....
I need this now more then ever....I'm already struggling and now I have to pay Federal taxes. Now doesn't that just make you want to jump for joy.
I have so many needs right now and being on primetime would help so many. I am waiting patiently......
Howie you still have my polka tape, how about sharing the music and have me on the show to dance for you guys. I still practice the polka song I made for the banker and I can't wait to see you in lederhosen...

Good Brunch Time Everyone,
Your right Jan, with the way things are these days it's more affordable to combine breakfast and lunch together. I try to keep everything low-key around my daughters, as not to let the economy frighten them. I just say something like " The things that are happening now have been going on almost since the beginning of time. Life really isn't without worries, you just keep a good since of humor, and try to find the good in everything the best you can". Jan, just try to keep everything in focus, seek out every option offered for your situation. We all hope getting on "Deal Or No Deal" could solve our money problems, Heaven Knows I Do!, but it's no guarantee as we have seen by alot of the low wins on the show. If we are ever lucky enough to be a Contestant on the show I hope us faithful "Deal Or No Deal" Bloggers know when to stop and count their lucky stars ( well, it would be $ signs here HaHa ) But on the other hand I am winning the Million $. See what I mean about Attitude! HaHa

Hi Nick and Hi Nicole:
I heard MAYbe May for the return.
About the waiting-lots of us have been waiting much longer. I applied in March 2007; Linda applied in 2006 (I think) and Dawn applied in 2007. Our Dear LB waited a long time too-but had her DOND debut not too long ago. Have faith; be patient; and don't lose hope.
Nick-how 'bout a new post from you? That would definitely shorten the winter (another blizzard here on The Lake)

The regulars on here will tell you I have stayed Determined and have been counting days and sleeping with the house phone and my cell phone because of the 4 hour differents in California and Indiana..
DON'T GIVE UP DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!! 2009 is mine! and all us faithful bloggers will get our show!!!

Thanks for the responses ladies :). I've actually been reading the blog since I first auditioned, and only posted a few times, so I am very familiar with your incredible determination and drive :)! You give me hope, and NO, I won't give up either! I auditioned in Green Bay, WI with 6000 other hopefuls and was 1 of 30 to make it to the callbacks right away the next day. I had my on camera interview and "mock" game with my supporters with Luke (a producer of the show). I left feeling GREAT about everything, and he made me feel very hopeful. He did tell me it is a VERY LONG process though, so to "hang in there".....and yes, I'm still hangin' :) LOL! It was fun to see LB finally have her moment, I did watch the episode! What a wonderful woman! I was very happy for her :). GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU! :)

Hello Nickolas and faithful Bloggers,
And Hello to Mr. Banker, and Casting, just incase they are reading Nick's Blog,
Just a thought:
Numbers are flying right and left of the "DOND" stage on 26 cases
One, two, three slides across your lips into the mic to Howie's ears
Audience is clapping and cheering, everyone feeling waves of joy
Your mind possessing number picking strategies for a Million Dollar Win
Beating Mr. Banker at a game he knows best, so he thinks
The Banker's Million is at our finger tips, call us Casting to be Contestants
Theres a show to put on, the show must go on, we need you, you need us
PS: It has been since May 2006 that I have been waiting for the call from "DOND" Casting. :(
I am still hanging in there hoping though.

"NBC", Nickolas, Casting, and my Bloggin Friends,
What can I say, but it's just another day in the life of my crazy fingers.
There are "Fears Regrets Desires" in all the "Days of our Lives". Some may send us to the "ER" if we might feel like we are "The Biggest Loser", or to a "Medium" to see if we can find out what is to be, and feeling lots of different "Passions" which could send you to "The Chopping Block" in your mind.
On to other things. "Momma's Boys" just love to be out in the "Lipstick Jungle". Earl doesn't stand a chance, because he can't quit saying "My Name Is Earl". "Chuck" and "Crusoe" should give "Kath & Kim" a call, join the "Dateline" and pair up as "Couples" an go out on the town and enjoy the "Friday Night Lights ".
Personally I like staying in on friday and watch my favorite shows "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", and then I finish up with "Last Call with Carson Daly". Now that's what I call the "Land of the Lost". I am lost in pure laughter after watching these shows!!! Then after my shows I get a good night sleep which gets me ready to get my "NBC Saturday Moring" off to a good start, and end the day with a great show "Saturday Night Live". Laughter is always good for you. The "Superstars of Dance" show didn't last long enough for me, but hey it will return (I Hope). I am excited about watching "The Celebrity Apprentice" that will be airing soon, because the people that will be doing the show are absolutely fantastic, and will be exciteing to watch!!!
Now I want to talk about the two "Kings" of my favorite show "Deal Or No Deal". Yes, I said two. It takes Mr. Banker and Howie Mandel to put on this great show. Money and Comedy, what a combination!!! While your trying to win a Million Dollars from Mr. Banker, your having a good laugh with Howie's comedy wit. WOW!!! Watch "Howie Do It". Their my "Heroes". : )
Now I am going to retreat to "The Office" , which is my recliner in the family room, and I am going to play a little "Law & Order: CI" like Detective Logan and search for a new posting from Mr. Banker. I put out a looky-look order for him since he hasn't posted since last November 2008, and is like a "Law & Order: Special Victim Unit" person.
A Missing Persons Post Report for this blog:
Make a post on this blog if you have seen this persons post:
NAME: Mr. Banker
HEIGHT: 3ft. tall while sitting in a chair
WEIGHT: Nothing (a shadow has no weight)
HAIR: Black
EYES: Black
LAST SEEN WEARING: A black outlined shadow
Bloggers "BFF" (Banker's Friends Forever) believes fowl play (posting chicken scratch)
is the culprit. Notify Mr. Banker's Blog of his missing post if found.
PS: In case I am not at the Banker's Blog, and it's an "Emergency" go to "30 Rock" and relax, and have a laugh or two.

Are you trying to catch up to Mr. Banker's time without a new post?
Remember-a banker's approach to treating their customers is NOTHING to aspire to, especially our Mr. Banker.
Now. about the taping in March-will you be updating us on the behind the scenes life at DOND when the taping begins?
