Deal or No Deal2-Hour Season Premiere Monday, Sept. 18 8/7c
CURRENT ENTRY
December 19, 2008
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who has made this site their home page and have made more room for this show in their lives than Mother Teresa did with charity work. Imagine if she won a million dollars on Deal. Although I don't think she would have gone past the first offer. Anywho, enough about Mother Teresa on a game show. Thanks bloggers.

And thank you to the producers and staff at Deal or No Deal for letting me hang out with 26 models without me paying. And thank you for paying me. It's a great show to work on and everyone couldn't be better. Except for that Unidentified Model; you could be better- at giving clues, but I guess your husband would get jealous if he knew you were cyber-flirting with me. Or are you just mad about your NFL team doing so bad? Who's your favorite team again? Who am I kidding? It's probably cause you wish you were in the first two rows.

And a special thanks to the NBC.com team for everything they do and for allowing me to have this blog. I never thought a PA job could get me this kind of exposure, but you all make it possible. Thanks NBC.com.

So everyone have a Happy Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Festivus, New Year and any other holiday I can't think of off the top of my head.

Great your back Nick!

Posted by:Linda Caroots | December 19, 2008, 09:13 PM

Goodness Gracious Nick, I was so happy that you made a new post I forgot to say anything else besides "Great your back"!.
I think it was Dawn on Mr. Banker's blog that said all of you have been away, and that there has been no tapeing of "Deal Or No Deal", and that they have just went back to tapeing this week. That is good news, especialy if it includes us Bloggers!!!
Hope your Holidays are wonderful too, Nick.

Last night, I heard a very loud "ho ho ho!!" outside my window. I got up and saw Santa Claus flying over my house in his sleigh with all of his 9 reindeer!! He stopped momentarily right on top of my roof and said, "I'm going to Washington, DC to ask Congress for a bailout package of $2 billion so that I can buy toys for all the nice children of the entire world. Hopefully, both Democrats and Republicans will see how important our world's children are, they are our future. I stopped by Holland, MI on my way here and met a really nice lady by the name of dollydeb, and she encouraged me to give some toys to the Toys for Tots program.". And I saw him wearing dollydeb's yellow t-shirt full of signatures underneath his red suit. I gave him a hot cup of chocolate and he was on his merry way.

But more importantly, I got very good grades this semester...a B- in my economics class and a B+ in my statistics class!! My GPA is like a honeycomb...it's full of B's. I'm always trying to set a good example to my younger siblings so that they can be encouraged to excel in college and beyond. The ONLY Christmas present that I really want is my opportunity to win $1M on this show.

Mother Teresa is certainly a figure to be revered and admired...she selflessly gave of her own time and effort to needy people throughout most of her life. But there's another good person on this show like her...St. NICK!! LOL!

Hello Nick,

Well way to the west where the sun shines bright
There's a show about Money, Models, and a Banker
That you've all been told
And a real famous guy dressing up all the Models in red
And he spends all year working so the Christmas show trimmings have all been met
It's "Deal Or No Deal's" St. Nick, wonderful St. Nick!!!

Merry Christmas to all....

I hope Nick meant that DOND is staying on the air, I want the hour long show to stay, it is so much more fun to watch then the 1/2 hour show. I also hope more then anything that I can get on there to take away some of my bills. Its tough out there for a lot of people.

I joined Singles Volunteers in Minneapolis, figured I can't afford to give financially any more so giving my time, which is just as important.

Andres good job on your tests and grades, its always a personal boost when you can accomplish that.

I wish for you and yours to have a healthy new year.

DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THAT THE LAST TO ENTRIES WERE DONE BY NBC COMMUNITY NOT NICK GRECO??? CHECK IT OUT READ UNDER EACH OF NICKS ENTRIES..

WHATS UP WITH THAT?????

Posted by:Dawn Mays 765-730-3130 | December 22, 2008, 04:49 PM

Well, Dawn Mays, there may be a ray of hope that the DOND casting directors are actually reading our comments!! Maybe that's why the last 2 blog entries were posted by the NBC community and not Nick Greco.

Hi everyone!!!! It is below zero here in Indiana!!!

Andres I am thinking that the NBC COMMUNITY TEAM is a good thing ,,, Could it be the team to call us and let us know that we are the best fans ever and we are the most loyal and faithful and determined fans and for all that we get to go head to head with the Banker and fist to fist with Howie and on of us take home big big money???????

Tis the season for dreams and miricles.......

HI Nick! Glad to see you posting again.
Some winter we've been having, huh?!

Whoops, I forgot--you are in sunny warm CA. Lucky Ducky!

BTW-even though we didn't get "the call" for the Prime Time show, THIS blogger got a great Christmas present-a new baby grandson. His name is Theodore Rex (short for T-Rex, honest). Remember, my son is the fossil hound.

Anyway, I can't wait to see the Christmas episode of DOND. Hope you helped the models dress in their holiday finest!

HI Andres, Dawn, Linda, Jan, and all the rest of the bloggers!

Posted by:dollydeb | December 23, 2008, 07:34 AM

People, I've been thinking about something....DOND's Prime Time episodes have about 10-15 million viewers, so the viewer ratings are much too high for NBC to discontinue them. If NBC decides to take them off the air, they will be forced to bring them back by popular demand.

Dollydeb, congratulations on your grandson. I can't believe his name is T-Rex, LOL. Is this a practical joke, Doll?

I want to audition for this show again. I'm willing to drive anywhere and do anything to get on this show!!!

Nick Greco, why do you have the "NBC Community Team" posting blogs on your behalf??? Are you feeling sick or something? What happened to you, is everything OK?

On a cold winters day, Hello Nick,

Well, I have my nut roll baking, my Christmas Cheese I just made wrapped in cheese cloth hanging so the excess moisture drips off, getting ready to start making my fudge, and finally make my Kifli cookies.
YUMO!!!
Holidys always bring out the good in people. I hope Mr. Banker, and Casting looks in "NBC" big red Christmas bag and finds a list of our names and phone numbers, and calls us to be "Deal Or No Deal" Contestants.

Merry Christmas Eve Nick, Casting, and Bloggin Friends,

WOW!
It's been the longest 2 1/2 years without being called to be a Contestant.
I didn't know where to turn to until I found the Banker's blog.
I can blog and still have my dream of being a Contestant.
After all that's what I have been trying for so long.

Great show "NBC",
BUT,
Yes it's a big but,
But why just use 1 family,
Use "The Banker's Blogger Family"! It would be a mixture family. Not just one story, but a story of many. Not the same story over and over, but many different life stories. Nothing would be repetitious.

Oh, got to go. Another great "Deal Or No Deal" show to watch. YAYYYY!!!

Hi Nick:
I enjoyed the show last night. LOVED the dresses on the models (hubby approved, too!)

Hi Linda: I'm with you, the blogger family would have been a great idea.

Posted by:dollydeb | December 26, 2008, 06:50 AM

BTW, Nick:
I loved how Howie gave Mr. Banker the cold shoulder last night (and cold head, arms, back, etc-a GREAT stunt)

Dollydeb, I just clicked on your name, and your grandbaby is very adorable!! And with a name like T-Rex(Theodore Rex) he could probably be a good football player or wrestler sometime in the very distant future.

I missed last night's episode because I went to go see that Leo DiCaprio movie "Body of Lies". He's a great actor! It's amazing to think that this is the same man that starred in "Titanic" more than 10 years ago.

I hope all of you had a great Christmas. I have very high expectations for the new Obama administration in 2009, and I hope that they will fix our damaged economy. NBC CASTING DIRECTORS, THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT TIME TO CALL SOME OF US TO BE ON YOUR SHOW. I'D LOVE TO BE ONE OF THE LAST CONTESTANTS OF SEASON 4.

So Sweet, Dollydeb, and I have the Hallmark thing beside the little stocking stuffer. Ha Ha Ha
I love my idea too. A great show right in front of them and their not jumping right on it. Maybe they'll see the light one day. Hope is all we have.

Well if the show is viewing our blog....I'm still here, still need to get on the show, you still have my audition tape you did, I am drowning in debt and can't breath! Remember me? I gave Howie a wonderful Polka tape and I had a petition from 87 people I work with to get on the show. I still have the winning song I want to sing to the banker when I win.

Hope everyone has the best New Year, I'm hoping this is my year to stop drowning in debt and hope something wonderful and magical happens to me.

Take care.

Who is this "unidentified model"??? I'm thinking it's Claudia Jordan because she has made a lot of comedy videos with Nick G. on this website. Or I'm thinking it's one of the girls that USED to be a DOND model, such as Laura Shields, Liana Grethel from Colombia, or Kasie Head whose case once held 6 MILLION DOLLARS for Michele Falco.

Anyways, something very interesting happened late last night. We were driving home from the bowling alley when suddenly my brother and I saw a bright-teal, oval object in the sky. At first, I thought it was just a comet or a meteorite from outer space because it entered the Earth's atmosphere in a straight-line trajectory. But then it suddenly stopped, changed direction, and disappeared! After having discussed this sighting in the night sky with my brother, we came to the consensus that this object was actually a UFO! Comets or meteorites do not have a bright-teal color, and they cannot change direction like that on their own. Astronomers and physicists are always talking about cosmic distances in light years, so I personally believe that the universe is such a vast expanse of space and matter that there must be other intelligent life forms out there. Have any of you had any UFO sightings?

Linda Caroots, you forgot to write it in SPANISH: Vas o no vas? I think this game show also exists in most of the 20 Spanish-speaking countries around the world. Here's something else I'd like to tell all of you die-hard DOND bloggers in Spanish: Yo sinceramente espero que tengan un ao 2009 prospero, lleno de alegria, y tambien espero que los productores de este programa les llamen a todos para que sean concursantes.(Just use the Google language tool to translate this.).

If anyone from the DOND casting department is reading this blog, I'd like to remind them why I think I'm a deserving person to be on this show as a contestant:
1. I actually DROVE 1,200+ miles between Albuquerque and Salt Lake City on April 11-12, 2008, solely for the purpose of auditioning for this show on Claudia Jordan's 35th birthday.
2. I had a dream of winning an absolute fortune($387,000 to be exact) on your exciting show. And I'd really appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to fulfill this dream of mine.
3. The #1 priority on my list of things that I would do in the event that I won the $1M would be to pay off my parents' mortgage once and for all, and to open up a Roth IRA for each of them because they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to retire on. My parents are getting very close to their retirement age, so I BEG AND PLEAD you to let me be one of the last contestants of Season 4.
4. I'm about to graduate in May 2009 with my BS in Mechanical Engineering, but I've had a very hard time finding a job because of our current economic crisis. I need to be on this show for my own personal expenses as well. I've studied so hard in college for all these years, and I believe that SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE.

Hello Nick,
I wrote this to Casting and Mr. Banker this morning. I thought you might like to read it too. I am still trying to become a Contestant after 2 1/2 years of trying on the show, and have you on the stage at the same time.

Good Morning Casting,
I would like to see if you could answer a question for me.

Should "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind (WHAT?)
Should "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And days of times of trying to be Contestants gone by,
Should Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind (If your brain dead)
Should Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And days of times of trying to be a Contestant gone by,
For trying to become a Contestant, "DOND" Casting,
Becoming a Contestant is all we want,
We'll ask again with kindness yet (As always)
Please Call the "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" to be Contestants
Because of all the days of times of trying gone by,
Should "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind (Are you kidding)
Should "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And the days of so many times of trying to be a Contestant gone by,
Should "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind (That's Impossible}
Should "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" acquaintance be forgot (NO, NEVER, NUH-UH, DON'T GO THERE)
"We'll be waiting for the Call of kindness from Casting for all the days of trying gone by." Please, don't make us wait any longer. Make it your Good Deed for the coming New Year 2009.

PS: We are offering you Casting the "Best Show Ever", "Mr. Banker's Bloggers", open your eyes, take the blinders off, wake-up and smell the coffee, WOW! you could have a "Banker's Dozen (V-8 didn't fit). Come on Casting you know what I am saying, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth", (Sorry, that's my last one! Ha Ha Ha) But, (yes, there is but) You should be thankful when you receive a gift (That would be us "Mr. Banker's Bloggers") and not wish for something better (Because "Deal Or No Deal" couldn't have a better show than US, we even are the "US" United States, different ethnic backrounds coming together as ONE). Again I say, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, don't measure the value of something that you have received for free (Well, it will cost Mr. Banker, Ha Ha) Casting, we are worth it! Give us each, the constant daily consistent faithful Bloggers a chance at being a Contestant. You know who we are.

Dollydeb, I watched last night's episode. The contestant's name was Davon, he's a male barber/hairdresser who won $388K(including the LA Lakers package with Kobe Bryant)!! His timing was just PERFECT, because had he continued he had a 100% risk of reducing the offer after the $388K offer because he only had $1K in his own case. He almost won EXACTLY what I dreamed of winning on this show this past March before I auditioned in Salt Lake in April....

LB! A big congrats! See, Nick-we CAN keep a secret!

LB, I can't wait to see your show air. Even though we are oceans away from each other (Lake Michigan IS an ocean, right?), I feel we really know each other.

Nick, I hope that the DOND powers-that-be, continue the trend-so many deserving bloggers on here.

Happy New Years bloggers.

The posting from Nick/NBC Community Team seemed a bit odd. Hoping that it was just a big thanks because of the New Year and not a "farewell" thank you for Nick, the blog, or DOND.

I haven't been checking the blog as much as in the past, but I miss Dawn keeping track of her (and my days since the Indy auditions.

I've been unsure if I should send a video tape in for a second shot. One side of me says that the first should have been good enough. But another side of me thinks that the producers would be making a mistake.

As much as this may sound odd, its not so much about the money as it is about the experience. Any amount of money will be fantastic, but the memories will last longer than the money. Anyone who went to a call back can tell you how pumped up they were afterwards.

Here's to a healthy, safe, and prosperous New Years for all of my blogger buds.

Happy New Year to everyone at the NBC studios, and to all of my die-hard blogging buddies! LB, congratulations to you for getting on the daytime version of this TV show!! Once the show has aired, please let us know how much money you won(I hardly ever watch the daytime shows). Otherwise, please let us know when this episode will air.

To the DOND casting department: Winning $387,000 would be very difficult for me to do on the daytime version because the highest amounts are only $500K and $250K instead of $1M and $750K. So if you're still considering my application, PLEASE let me be a contestant on the Prime Time version of this show with a normal $1M board. I beg and plead for you to let me be one of the very last contestants for Season 4 on the Prime Time version. Thank you.

And, bloggers, as LB said, never give up.

Dawn, I get to meet my grandbabe for the first time later this month (a trip out east)

BTW, Nick, I didn't like the outfits that much last night-hubby did, tho. (according to hubby, the models could wear potato sacks, and he'd still say they looked great!)

Hello Nick,
LB, ever since you said you were a Contestant, the figure that instantly entered my head was $250,000!!! If you won that amount that would make me psychic. Ha Ha

Dollydeb, I have tried for to long to give up now. I am hanging in there.
I bet you are so excited about see the little one. I feel your excitement, I just love babies.
But Dollydeb, I thought the dressws were soft, satiny, and sexy looking.

Nick, I'm taking a shot in the dark her, hoping you or anyone can help me. On the New Years Day show there was a woman, Tunde was her name. I am looking to meet and talk to her friend/roommate that she brought on the show with her. I know this is one in a million chances but if I don't try, I will never know. Hopefully you can help a guy out. Thanks in advance to anyone that can get me this woman's name and how I can talk to her. Thank you, Bob

Hi Nick,

What will you be doing since you won't have to take care of the Models until primetime "Deal or No Deal" returns? Didn't you say you don't have anything to do with the daytime version of DOND?

I am looking forward to watching "Howie Do It"!!! Howie is a great Comic.

I am very good at being patient. Like I have always said, my Mother always told me "All good things come to those who wait". I have been waiting to become a Contestant along time, and I still believe that "Mr. Banker"s Bloggers" will get their chance. LB proved that. "PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE".

Happy New Year, everyone!! I've been very busy playing my violin for the past few weeks, that's why you've hardly seen my comments on this blog. I started playing the violin since I was 14 years old way back in my freshman year of high school, and when I graduated from high school in 2001 my violin teacher gave me a Bruch concerto in G minor. Well, now that I've taken up my violin again I'm playing through that piece. It's a technically-challenging piece, but I love playing the violin.

And I'm going to graduate in May with my BSME!! I'm very excited about the possibility of working with Boeing after my college graduation in a few months. If they hire me, I will relocate to Seattle, WA.

LB, I hope you won a lot of money on the daytime version of this show. It's very hard to win a 6-figure cash prize in the daytime version because the largest case is worth $500K instead of $1M. Please keep us updated on how it went for you.

I'm still hoping that the casting directors will give me an opportunity of winning my $387,000 dream fortune on this exciting show. I need to pay my parents' mortgage URGENTLY with this DOND fortune or else they are in danger of getting their house foreclosed!! Casting directors, are you reading this??? If so, I challenge you to send me a quick e-mail or phone call because I NEED this opportunity so desperately. I don't have an engineering job yet, so I would love to be one of the very last contestants of Season 4. Thank you.

Everyone else, I hope to see you on this show in the very near future. Play it safe, don't become another Heather McKee or another Donna DiBiase. And certainly don't take 6-figure cash offers lightly like Brooks Leach.

Afternoon Nick,

I bet I know what will bring you back to post again on your blog. I want you to take a deep breath and smell my wonderful pot of what I call "Soup Bone Soup". The ingredience are: 9 beef shanks, small soup bone, 1 head cabbage, 2 bunches carrots, 1 onion, 1 potato, fresh parsley, diced tomatos, salt and pepper, WOW!, that wonderful aroma is all through the house!!! Do you smell that aroma? Ummmmmmmmm!!! I am one great cook if I say so myself, and I do say so! I just know that aroma will draw you to your computer keyboard. Am I right are you there? Huh?

Most of you DOND bloggers are women(Linda, Dawn, Dollydeb, LB, MarshaX3, JudybnJudy, and Jan). So I think it's more than fair game to ask all of you the following question: What would you think is more romantic for you, for your hubby to play an instrument for you or for him to sing to you? I've been practicing Bruch's concerto in G minor on my violin, but I can also sing as well. Just curious to know what you ladies think.

Even though Nick Greco is MIA, I think this question is relevant to DOND, seeing as how the essence of this game show is those 26 beautiful women. I'd love to figure out what makes women tick...

Great question!! Andres anything you would do for your girl friend or wife would be romantic if you put the thought and the love in it that is what makes it romantic...Both would be as equal as long as you play or sing from your heart!!!! Good Luck, Now my friend is there something you want too share with your blogging family?????????

Posted by:Dawn Mays 765-730-3130 | January 06, 2009, 08:51 PM

Ladies, thanks for your opinions, they mean a lot to me! Dawn, I don't have any big news...the only reason I asked that question is because I want to start dating soon and I want to know what women my age think about dating a guy with musical talent such as myself. All throughout high school and college, I've had several crushes on some of my female classmates...the problem was that they either had a boyfriend already or that they did not like me in return. But before I ask anyone out, one of my new year's resolutions for 2009 is to finally get in the best shape ever. I know that looks aren't everything, but I feel that in our society, there's such a huge emphasis placed on your outward appearance(especially on women). On the other hand, my own health is one of my top priorities.

Andres-anything you do for a girlfriend, as long as it's from the heart, will be treasured by her-if she is the one for you. Believe me-simple gestures go a long way (like hubby scraping the snow off my car before he leaves for work!)

And, trust the advice of Linda, Judy, and Dawn, too.

Nick, why aren't you posting? I hope you are still with the show.

HI Nick and bloggers!
Nick, I hope the weather in your neck o' the woods is better than ours (even poor Shelley is dealing with nasty January weather).

BTW-was that Anya on Knightrider last night? She is really making a splash in the acting world-first CSI Miami and now Knightrider-WOW.

FYI-hubby watches that show, not me.

congratulation LB....can't wait to see you on the show.

I hope that means that the rest of us have a chance too if we keep pushing and bugging the cast.

I so need it for so many reasons, and I'm sure a lot of us do. I just want to pay off my bills so I can start traveling again once in a while. Most of my vacations are family based because I can't afford anything else.

Well take care....and Howie, I still want to know if you got my Polka tape and if you are enjoying it.

I will keep up the hope.

Yeah, dollydeb, that was Anya Monzikova(case 10) last night on "Knight Rider". I saw her playing that role of a Russian secret-service agent, and I thought her Russian accent was great! I liked it when that high-tech car suddenly shot her and her 2 companions from the back, lol. She played a villain that was going to kidnap someone.

I have a severe case of Deal or No Deal fever...not a day goes by that I don't think about winning my $387,000 fortune on this show. The symptoms are blogging on this website, constantly thinking about DOND, and constantly watching past DOND contestants on YouTube. My doctors said that the ONLY cure for this medical condition would be for the DOND casting directors to put me on the show. So Mr. Scott St. John, Josh Silberman, and John Quinn, I challenge you to call me to be one of the very last contestants of Season 4, or one of the 1st contestants of Season 5. If driving 1,200+ miles between Albuquerque and Salt Lake City to audition for this show doesn't make me a deserving applicant, then I honestly don't know what does, this trip by itself should definitely qualify me to be on this show. Please be mindful of that when you consider my application for DOND.

I would love to humiliate the banker on national television!! I mean, he really needs to be taught a lesson for all of those ridiculous pranks that he pulled on Bevy Futch(the spider prank), Wynnetta Williams(the snake prank), Dimitria Apostolopoulos(the bile prank), and Heather McKee(breaking her piggy bank). I would love to crush his spirit by being the 1st contestant to win the $1M cash prize on a NORMAL board, with only 1 $1M case. Anything is possible when you put your faith in Christ.

I had a dream last night. Boy! what a dream it was too! In the dream I was falling and falling. All my Bloggin Friends know how I feel about having something solid under my feet. I like to capture my dreams on tape, so I stick a mini cam in my ear when I go to bed so it can capture everything in my brain while I sleep.

Hi Nick,

Someone on "Mr. Banker's Blog" asked what are some of his blogger's favorite Super Bowl comericals were, and I love this one. This one is so great, because it shows that every one wants to be in on the excitement. It's alot like "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" wanting to be in on the excitement of being a Contestant one day on "Deal Or No Deal".

Click on my Name to see this great commerical.

I honestly and terribly miss all of the Prime Time episodes of this show...I miss all the drama, all the excitement, and all the suspense of seeing people get those amazing 6-figure offers from the banker. I even miss all of the silly pranks from the banker! I'm actually starting to like the banker...how can you not like someone that is offering you life-changing amounts of money??

DOND casting directors: I'm fully aware, as all of my fellow Americans are, that we are in a deep and severe economic crisis. So I PLEAD and BEG of you to consider my application for the DAYTIME version of this show. During this period of overwhelming economic distress, I'm willing to win ANY amount of money from DOND. Winning a $387,000 fortune seems like such a distant dream right now, but I'm trying to remain optimistic...I guess the only way to get that kind of cash offer would be to leave only the $500K and $250K cases on the daytime board. *Sigh*

Looking forward to DOND this week with LB....hope you win lots!

I continue to hope and pray I get on the show. It would be the most awesome experience.....I still would kiss a frog or snake to play. And I practice the Polka song that I would sing to the banker all the time. Like all of you, I continue to hope. I know that Howie is enjoying my polka tape I gave him and secretly polka dancing in his dressing room. There was a lady from the show, that taped me at the auditions and she said that she was polish and raised with the Polish hop dancing and music, I hope she too is enjoying my tape.

I have the 87 people that signed my petition to get on the show still bugging me about when I will get on. I can't let those people think they signed that for nothing. I gave it to DOND during my audition, so they should still have it.

With LB getting on I know there is still hope. Keep up your happy feet and keep hoping to get on the show.

Hello Nick,
Hope your day is going good for you. If you see Mr. Banker or Casting, please show them your blog so they can read what I posted. They haven't been home on on Mr. Banker;s blog for awhile now. I guess Mr. Banker is missing Halloween a little to much. Don't forget to watch LB tomorrow.

Good Afternoon Mr. Banker, and Casting,

You know Mr. Banker, your Bloggers are your garden.
Everytime you post a new post you are spreading fertilizer.
Then if you mention any of us by name you give off extra sunshine.
While all of that is good, we need to be watered to make us grow.
So tell Casting to fill their watering bucket with our phone numbers
And give our roots nourishment to grow into "DOND" Contestants!!!

PS: We are the BEST of the crop!!!

Linda Caroots: I saw your dancing-elf video, I thought it was hilarious! That was awesome, LOL.

Dollydeb: How's your little dinosaur doing, the little T-Rex? (LOL!)

LB: I hope you mentioned all of your fellow DOND bloggers when you were up there on the DOND stage. Please let us know how much money you won.

Dawn: I love your name, it always makes me think of a beautiful, golden sunrise peeking out from behind a majestic mountain range. And it's also on the Star-Spangled Banner! Like your name suggests, I hope we will see the DAWN of a 3rd millionaire on this show.

If anyone from the DOND casting department is reading this blog, I'd like to remind you of the top 5 reasons why I believe I'm a deserving applicant for this game show:
1. I actually had a dream in March 2008 of winning an absolute fortune of $387,000. I remember that I had case 21 in front of me, and that I still had the $1M and $750K left in play and 2 smaller amounts from the left side still in play. Please let me have my opportunity to make this dream a reality.
2. I drove more than 1,200 miles between Albuquerque, NM and Salt Lake City, UT for the sole purpose of auditioning for this show on April 12, 2008 which was also Claudia Jordan's 35th birthday.
3. There's a HUGE possibility that my parents will have their house foreclosed if I do not make it to this show. They are getting very close to their retirement age, so I would also put some of my winnings towards saving up for their retirement.
4. Out of nearly 300 contestants that have been on this show, Dave Atherton is the ONLY one that played a musical instrument. Who said that this show doesn't require any talent?? I beg to differ!! I can either sing to the models or play my violin for them.
5. I've been a huge fan of Howie Mandel for a long time, even before he used to host this game show. I used to watch his "Bobby's World" episodes all the time when I was a little boy.

Hi Nick How about you staring as the Bachelor on DOND you already have the 26 girls to choose from?

Hows that for a Model Theatre plot?

Posted by:NameJudybnjudy | January 12, 2009, 10:50 PM

LB, I liked what you told Howie today: "I'm the biggest Deal or No Deal fan on the planet, I just want to go over there and kiss you right now!". I can't wait to see how much GREEN you win tomorrow! Well, I'm the SECOND biggest fan because I can name most of the models that were on this show for the 1st 3 seasons:

Claudia Jordan--case 1
Stacey Gardner--case 2
Lisa Gleave--case 3
Keltie Martin--case 4
Ursula Mayes--case 5
Megan Abrigo--case 6
Sara Bronson--case 7
Lauren Shiohama--case 8
Patricia Kara--case 9
Anya Monzikova--case 10
Katie Cleary--case 11
Jill Manas--case 12
Leyla Milani--case 13
Pilar Lastra--case 14
Brooke Long--case 15
?????---case 16
Jennelle Moreno--case 17
Marisa Petroro--case 18
Mylinda Tov--case 19
Alike Boggan--case 20
Tameka Jacobs--case 21
Laura Shields--case 22
Aubrie Lemon--case 23
????---case 24
Hayley Marie Norman--case 25
Lindsay Clubine---case 26

I would be TERRIFIED to open case 18 because it once held 6 MILLION DOLLARS for Michele Falco!!! And it has held the $1M cash prize many, many times before...so LB, I hope you played it safe with #18.

Andres dude your not the second biggest fan you are obsessed with it !!!!! now I have taped every show and watched every show( maybe it is my age) but dude I cant remember all that!!! You could win at a trival game with all that information...

Everyone watch tonight as one of our own is on stage with HOWIE !!!!

LB...I hope when your on the show you tell Howie about all of us bloggers and how loyal we are.

I wished there was some way to ask Howie if he received my polka tape.

I hope on tonights show that you take home something. Anything is better then going home with nothing. Even $14,000 is around $467.00 a minute and where can you get that any place else.

Looking forward to seeing you play.

Keep you happy feet going....

Jan (MN Polka Fan)

By the way its freezing here and I'm sick of snow, would like to take a trip to California to play DOND and warm up. They are talking 30+ below tonight....brrrrr

Dawn, speaking of trivia, my 2nd-favorite show is Jeopardy!, when it comes on I always yell the answers at the TV screen and sometimes I get them RIGHT. So maybe I should apply for that show as well. Who knows, I might be the next Ken Jennings, who won over 2 MILLION DOLLARS over a period of several months on this show a few years ago. He's the ultimate Jeopardy! master. My 3rd-favorite show is "Wheel of Fortune".

Hi Nick,

I just posted this on Mr. Banker's Blog about Howie, and I forgot to say tell him our prayer's and thought's are with him. So you tell him that part.

Mr. Banker,

I just heard about Howie being hospitalized for an irregular heatbeat. Tell him that he is loved by all of us Bloggers. When they said he will be back to work tomorrow I was so happy. Tell him he was probably just excited from finally meeting one of "Mr. Banker's Bloggers.

Posted by:Linda Caroots | January 13, 2009, 03:23 PM

Well Helloooo Bloggers!
By now many of you have seen the show or will by the time you read this. I will be busy the remainder of the day preparing for my viewing party tonight when all my supporters, friends and family who didnt get to go with me, with be here to see the madness. I thought I should share some thoughts on the experience before my day gets too hectic.
First Im So glad I dont have to keep this secret any longer, hardest secret I ever had to keep. What can I share with you about the experience is this;
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE I IMAGINED OR PLANNED FOR!
Remember I auditioned in Dec 2006 when there was No syndicated version. So in my head, If blessed to be on the show, I would have 7 shots at big money. My family would be with me, the models would be there and I would have the million in my #10 suitcase. Remember I said In my head.
Someone once told me, If you want to hear God laugh, tell him what your plans are! Exactly what I was feeling after the fact. When I was called for the newlywed show I didnt know immediately it was for syndication, but when I found out, I wasnt too bummed because my hubby would be with me. Then when we got there and I realized my hubby would have to be high strung like me all day, I worried. We got pulled and I was told I would be brought back ALONE. I assumed it would be for primetime, still holding on to my vision in My head and then I got the call to return for syndication.
Once again although feeling very blessed, I still held out hope they would call my supporters and I would have a shot at the million, and just like in my mock show, I would win the big $ with case #10. All of that changed the day before I taped. I got the call the night before & told where to go,the time and what to bring. When I tell you, every emotion hit me all at once, Im not joking! Excitement, fear, shock, thrill, worry, joy, apprehensiveness, anxiety, sadness, appreciation, then calm. After dealing with all those emotions I came to a place of accepting, I have to do this alone, hubby and kids and supporters wont be with me, so go be my upbeat hyper happy self and be in gratitude for the experience.
I get there & meet the most amazing contestants and hear many stories of "waiting for the call". Im having a blast, and making new friends. Im happy and content with whatever happens, whether the ball lands on me or not. I just feel so blessed for a shot. I play game 1 on Monday. So much fun I dont want it to end. Then Tues the unthinkable happens. Im routing for someone who I grew to adore, and I wanted the ball to land on her. I wanted to tape all 5 shows, and if it was meant to land on me, I hoped it would wait until the Friday show because I was having so much fun. But then, out of the blue it lands on me! On ME! OMG On me! I am in shock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Utter shock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was happy, scared, anxious, worried, Thrilled out of my mind. It felt like an out of body experience. I wanted to jump Howie and kiss his whole face, but I had to try and calm down. My heart was beating loud enough for the Banker to hear it!
And the game began and it was alllllllllllll a blurrrrr! The big money was Not where in my Heart I believed it would be. NOTHING was going like I thought it would. I had a chance to call my hubby but I couldnt reach him, he said he had a missed call and tried to call me back but it went to voice mail. All the cases I had been practicing picking for 2 years in my head, all had big dollar amounts in them. My lucky numbers were NOT lucky and my unlucky numbers were suddenly lucky. Everything was upside down and inside out. After the big three got opened my heart stopped. In my head I would have 7 chances to turn it around, not 3, so I wasnt prepared for how to handle keeping the momentum going after that. I really wanted to cry, but I could not embarrass myself or family on National TV. I just smiled, said a silent prayer of gratitude and keep it moving.
After the show I couldnt get Howies autograph on my bobble head, I got moved back stage with the contestants and the microphone unhooked. I was getting hugs and congrats from everyone. I videotaped a msg for the website and got to record a video voice mail for The Banker that was suppose to air right after the show. I dont know if it shows in everyones tv viewing area. In the video for the daytime website, I shot out to the bloggers but its not on the website I think because DOND is not in production right now. I met with folks in legal to finish up and then I texted my hubby to come to the studio to pick me up. When he drove up, security on the lot congratulated me, and I got in the car. He said I rode home in a daze looking like I was struck by lightening.
None of what happened in the show, came back to me until today. It really was all a blur! I guess you hold a vision of what YOU want to happen for soo long, What your plan will be, how you will execute it, Never ever realizing that Just because you have a plan, God is automatically going to go along with it. At least I didnt. In the end, I auditioned in 2006 to win money to pay for my wedding. I won EXACTLY what my wedding cost. Down to the penny! I didnt even realize that until a week later, thats how in shock I still was.
I have to admit God does have a sense of Humor. And just to experience it, Even though, as I told Howie, This is not how it happened in my head I am in such gratitude that I had an actual chance at all. I love and thank you all for your humble support and cheering me on thru the days up to the actual show. I do hope when DOND comes back to production, they post my video and you all get to hear the shot out to the bloggers! I did do one! I did think of you all, and I hope you felt I represented the Amazing bloggers well considering it all. Big hug and Kisses from Your LB!

LB, you Lucky Lady!!!

Forget the money just for a few minutes. You were about 20 steps away from your Banker Boo, hugged and stood next to Howie, hugged Tameka and Patricia, and instead of 15 minutes of fame you had 2 half hours of fame. That says a Million Dollars to me girl!!! You looked Fantastic!!! I felt like a Million Dollars just knowing I talk to you on "Mr. Banker's Blog". It all boils down to you had a dream of yours come true, and you did a great job!!! You Lucky Lady you!!! I hope one day we all get a chance at playing the game.

LB, I agree with you...I think that God indeed does have a sense of humor, in spite of the solemn, stern stereotype that many people may have of Him. Congratulations on winning $10,250 on this game show...I was hoping that you would win AT LEAST $50,000 on this show. I hope that I won't have to wait as long as you did to be on this show. And I hope that they will accept my application because I still want to win my $387,000 fortune that I dreamed about in March 2008. And I'm especially glad that you mentioned the banker's blog on national TV...I think that should certainly capture the attention of the DOND casting department.

Now it's our turn...Linda, Dawn, Dollydeb, MarshaX3, JudybnJudy, Jan, and myself all need our shot at that $1M cash prize. YES, I said $1M because I'm an optimistic person and I hope that NBC will resurrect the Prime Time version of this game show, once we recover from all of this economic chaos.

HI Nick and Judy (and the rest of the faithful bloggers).
Judy-I have been on the DOND blog, but Mr. Banker's more than Nick's. Since Nick has been ignoring us, I thought I'd go back to the first blog that does the ignoring thing so well.

See-Nick, now we are putting you into the same category as Mr. Banker.

LB-super duper big congrats.
I know you wanted to win more,
but you had a TV debut,
won a bit of cash,
and have oodles of bloggin' friends that sat glued to the TV screen

(it's gonna be a long time before I forgive hubby for that one-CA glue, who knew?!)

Nick, please post again, we miss the insider info.

Dawn, Linda,Kim, Judyx3, Martha, Tickle, etc-stay warm today. Even tho it's FREEEEEEEEEZIN' here in MI, I think you are getting it worse than us.
Jan, how you holding up with this weather?

Nick, can you please invite the midwesties to LA for a taping?

Hi Laurianne:
Welcome to Nick's "ignore the bloggers" blog.

Not sure how to apply to the Prime Time show anymore, but if you go onto the daytime version, there is an online application.

Good luck!

Congrats LB! I felt bad when you lost the big cases so fast, but I knew in my heart you would get the $10,000.

Winter in MN is getting boring and long. I can't wait till the miracle of Spring when everything comes back to life. It has been a very cold winter here.

So...DOND, please warm me up in California, and give me a chance to win some money so I can take a trip to a warmer climate. Would still like to take my grandson to Disneyland. He just turned 13, he might not want to go there with grandma if he gets much older. We would have so much fun together.

I need to pay my bills....it would be sooooo wonderful to be debt free.

Take care everyone, and stay by your phones, you just never know when that moment will come.

Nick you do need to come on and talk to us soon!

Jan (MN polka fan)
Stay warm!

Good Morning Nick, and Casting,

You should help Mr. Banker tend his garden.

I was SHOCKED to read on Yahoo! news that some American states around the Great Lakes regions are experiencing incredibly-cold, sub-zero temperatures!! I read that some temperatures even dropped to 14 degrees below zero, someone even died from this extremely-cold weather!! That's almost as cold as the Arctic circle. Well, I hope that this weather will improve and get much warmer for all of you that are living in parts of Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, and Illinois. This is a bizarre weather pattern, I think. I'm so glad that I live in New Mexico...it's a little bit chilly here but we do have sunny weather about 10 months out of the year. Please stay safe and warm out there, my fellow Americans.

Good Day my bloggin peeps!
Just poppin in to say hello and hope you all on the east and midwest are trying to keep warm. My friends at the party enjoyed my DOND debut. All 15 said I should have been on the primetime show, but Im thankful for the experience at all. Since the show is not in production right now, we'll have to wait to hear back from Nick and the Banker and I guess to see my online video where I make a shot out to the bloggers, but until then its all good. Big warm hug from yr LB xoxoxox

Good Morning Nick,

I was just telling Mr. Banker I need some place warm to go like California. It is -12 degrees in my part of Ohio. So I am going to leave a message for Casting on your blog too.

Hello Casting,

Casting one day I hope you will call me
What ever happens then will be what's to be
I hope the Million Dollars is mine you see
Think about it Casting, Mr. Banker will sob
Because I will do such a wonderful winning job

-17 with a wind chill factor of 37 below here in MN, we have had 4 days straight of this. The end is in sight...tomorrow it might hit a balmy 20 degrees above zero.

DOND bring me to California to warm up!

A MN Poem for you.

It's winter in Minnesota
And the gentle breezes blow,
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Minnesota
When the snow's up to your butt,
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around,
I could never leave Minnesota
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!

Have a great day!

Jan

Hello Nick, Mr. Banker, and Casting,

Looking back on when I started in May 2006 trying to become a Contestant and seeing it through
Looking back on what I've written to you Mr. Banker, Casting, and to "NBC's" "Deal Or No Deal"
Reading all the things I have written about the show trying to become a Contestant I feel proud
And seeing that one of us made it to the "Deal Or No Deal" stage makes me feel a victory was won
There's a now a feeling of happiness on your blog Mr. Banker. Let's keep this happiness going.
Let me Linda Caroots, and all your faithful Bloggers start a new beginning in our lives this year of 2009
Make that call Casting, you'll be happy you did. : )

I like your MN poem Jan!
Same here in Huntington, IN
Berrriffic!

I did get my Howie Bobblehead yesterday and my EASY Button.

I want a Banker Bobblehead that talks like the Peanuts Gangs' teacher over the entercom, and 27 Hula Shimmy dolls.

Gotta go Howie Do It is on

Posted by:NameJudybnjudy | January 16, 2009, 08:02 PM

Howie is so funny it gave me an idea...

I'll just put a turd on a spring and I'll have my Banker Bobblehead... He is a Strinker!

Hello Nick - I am one of those seniors who does not know what the hell a URL is. I am lucky I can type e mail. Howie owes me one. Back a couple of years ago, my wife and I were in Vegas at the Voodoo Lounge, Rio, and Howie brushed by my wife on the steps and was very apologetic. I doubt he would recall that. I think I would make an interesting contestant. I managed to survive a stroke and kidney cancer and now teach at a special education school. I did that since I understand how these children are frustrated by medications, etc. I also happen to be the world's must unknown member of the Dramatists Guild with the same for AEA. Back in the mid-70's, I did stand up in Chicago at the Marron Raccoon. Others I worked with went on to fame, Judy Tenuta and Emo Phipps. I went on to 30 years of Richmond, Virginia. Not a haven for a native Brooklynite. What would I do with the proceeds? Self produce one of my plays. Shades of Bialystock! proceeds?
