This is what you bloggers have been waiting for...
Here's a picture from Halloween. We were Ol' Timey Weight Lifters. I figured I'd show off our awesome costumes, while potentially embarrassing my buddies in the photo by putting them on the NBC website dressed like this. But, like me, they don't easily get embarrassed.

We walked (and worked out) in the streets on Halloween night where people were partying and I don't have to tell you that people were happier to see us than Angelina Jolie at a third world orphange. The street might as well have been made of a red carpet and everyone else might as well have been dressed as paparazzi, because every few feet we would pose with a huge crowd around us taking pictures. I guarantee we are in thousands of strangers' pictures online.
It's probably the best costume I've ever done. Besides the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume my Mom made me when I was eight. That was awesome.
Every woman we saw we would lift up like it was an event in the Strong Man Competition. And no, you can't buy those weights or anvil anywhere. Those were made by me and Mike Ryan. We're thinking of opening an Ol' Timey Weights company and also a pizza shop. I think we should combine the two. We could call it, Ol' Timey Weights and Pizza Shop. It's a pretty big demo (that's industry talk). Then people can ask, "Hey, how's the ol' timey weight and pizza business?" and I would reply, "It's working out deliciously." Then they would walk away, unsatisfied with my response.

Well, Nick, I'm definitely NOT the fittest man in America. But I can bench press 140 pounds, I can do bicep curls with 30-lb. dumbbells, I can run on the treadmill for 20-25 minutes at a speed of 5.0 mph, and I can do lat pull-downs with 130 pounds. Oh, and I've grown out my own, real mustache, though it's not as thick as those fake mustaches that you guys have in this photo. Do you want to armwrestle with me, Nick? Come on, dude, let's do it...
My heart goes out to everyone that was directly affected by the aggressive fires of southern California. As a little boy I remember watching the cartoon TV show "Captain Planet". In that show, there was a girl that had the special power of moving around enormous amounts of water to extinguish fires...did anyone here see that show? I wish God would give me that power, to do the miracle of extinguishing all of those wildfires by taking out a huge amount of water from the Pacific Ocean.

Hi Nick! Great pic-hubby asked if you could make a set of weights for him.
But, I want to know this-when are you and your weightlfiting buds going to do an episode holding the ultimate weighted objects, cases loaded with cold hard cash! I bet there would be a huge spike in the ratings.

I guess DOND has started the Thanksgiving tradition of offering $2M to their contestants. Last year, Jay Garrity from Boston, MA drove 3,013 miles across the country to LA to win $307,000, and I have that entire episode recorded because Jay and I have the same birthday...September 24!!! What are the odds of that happening?? (HINT TO THE CASTING DIRECTORS: Maybe this is supposed to mean that I was destined to be on this show so that I could fulfill my dream of winning $387,000!!!). I NEED TO BE ON THIS SHOW BECAUSE WE ARE ON THE BRINK OF FORECLOSURE AND MIGHT LOSE OUR HOUSE, just like millions of other Americans. Jay's my favorite contestant from Season 3 because not only did he drive across America for this game show, but I loved his personal interaction with the audience. He had everyone chanting, "Jay! Jay! Jay! Jay!", while he walked up and down the stairs high-fiving everyone along the way. He was one of the most memorable contestants. But my all-time favorite contestant was Anteia Greer, who won $402,000 during Season 2. I have 4 former DOND contestants on my MySpace profile: Anteia Greer, Matty Sollena, Anita English, and Donato DeMarinis.
Even though I've never met these 4 people in person, they all seem to be fantastic people. I know that Anteia has given a substantial amount of money to help her local community, Donato has dabbled in the acting business, Matty is enjoying his $675K fortune with his family, and Anita probably bought that house for her momma with that $313K fortune that she won on this show. Yup, those are the updates on these 4 former DOND contestants.
I hope and pray to God that at least one of us DOND bloggers will end up on this show.

And, if I might make some other great suggestions (reaching all age groups here-I'm not the cougar type, but looking is okay, right?....George Clooney, hunny bunny hubby (he's a real hunk!), Harrison Ford, Nicholas Cage, Leo Dicaprio, Justin Timberlake, John McGinley, and Mr. Banker incognito (yes, he's sexy, too-in his own twisted way)

Linda Caroots: I thought that the banker stopped posting new blogs, that's why I stopped posting over there. But you can always find me here.
Dollydeb: I hope that I will age gracefully like George Clooney 20-30 years down the road...it's truly amazing to see how much attention he gets from the ladies(it makes me a little jealous). Well, I may not be the most handsome guy you've ever seen, but I have other attributes that make me attractive to women. I have 2 musical talents, I have an outgoing personality, I'm about to graduate with my engineering degree, I'm a very good dancer, I have an IQ of 126, and I would say I have very conservative morals. I have to admit it...I'm more of a spender than a saver, I love to spend $$$. But during this stressful economic period, I have to save a little more. I'm a bargain hunter, I always try to find the LEAST expensive item.
I wonder who is this mysterious Ladii Goddiva?? Some people say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. I would say there's some degree of truth in that, since I love Godiva chocolates. My favorite food is Italian, by the way, especially food cooked and served by the Olive Garden. Yummy! (Actually, the way to a man's heart is through his ARTERIES, but I try to stay away from foods that are full of saturated fat...gross. You gotta take care of your heart! It's the most important involuntary muscle in your body!)
Here's my rough statistical analysis of each blogger. These are only estimated conditional probabilities, LOL:
P(me being on DOND|good musical talents)= 0.15
P(dollydeb being on DOND|she has a funny personality)=0.15
P(LB being on DOND|she's been waiting FOREVER)=0.25
P(Linda Caroots being on DOND|great poetry)=0.20
P(MarshaX3 will be on DOND|she lives in a fairy-tale forest)=0.25
P(banker is a sourpuss, bitter, grouchy, old man|he has lost fortunes)=1.00(100%)

I tried to post the pictures of the costumes I made for my daughters, but it didn't work. I'll figure it out and try again.
Andres does that mean you are not going to post on the "Banker's Blog" anymore?
Dollydeb and Ladii Goddiva, I don't care what the theme of the show might be, I just want to be a Contestant on my favorite show.

Linda Caroots: I just checked the banker's blog, and he hasn't posted a new entry since November 4th. The most recent entry has nearly 200 comments under it, so I'll just wait 'till Mr. Crabapple posts a new blog on there. I hope I don't ever become as grouchy or whiny as the banker when I reach my golden years, LOL. My age is currently 25, so I still have PLENTY of good years ahead of me(thank God). What did you think about my little math joke? In my personal opinion, I think the banker should've revealed his identity when Jessica and Tomorrow each won that $1M cash prize!

Dawn Mays: Why did you post the exact-same comment 10 times? Once is enough, LOL...maybe you're having some technical problems with your PC and clicked on the mouse 10 times. I just posted a comment on your MySpace account to respond to all your questions, I hope you get a chance to read it. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving Day as well!
Can ANYONE please answer the following question for me: Why do the holidays have to be a period of ultimate GLUTTONY? People, Thanksgiving and Christmas should both be ALL about spending time with your closest family and friends, about selflessly giving of yourself to your community, and about enjoying each other's company. MarshaX3, I know that you've done a lot of work with Habitat for Humanity. Dollydeb, I know that you're very passionate about helping children through the Toys for Tots program with your yellow t-shirt full of signatures. So I thank both of you for setting a good example for me to follow. I'm very tight on money right now, but I think I can afford to buy a toy for the Toys for Tots program here on my college campus.

Hi Nick:
Andres-I have a feeling that the general mood of THIS holiday season will be different. Americans have been rethinking priorities-in a good way.
Nick, maybe you could encourage the models to donate to either the Angel Tree (deadline December 12th) or the Marine's Toys for Tots program. Habitat for Humanity is also a great cause.
Okay, back to DOND-I really like the dresses the models were wearing for the daytime holiday version-very festive, but maybe they could add a hat and muff to warm poor Tameka and Patricia up a bit (yes, I know the snow on the set is fake, but the extra accessories would definitely add to the holiday theme)

To all of my fellow bloggers and everyone at the NBC studios: Have a great Thanksgiving! I know that we are in the midst of a global economic crisis, but we should all take some time to be grateful for all of the blessings that we DO have right here in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Even though I voted for the Republicans, I have very high expectations for the new Obama administration and hope that Barack Obama will actually be the embodiment of positive change that he claimed to be, the change that all of my fellow Americans so desperately need right now.

Happy Thanksgiving....
A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear (that results) from the injury of the oyster. The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl.
So USA....remember we will grow more beautiful and stronger with our troubles. Remember, life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Thanks Linda, it is a beautiful quote and I'm glad you recognized it by author. As we enter the Thanksgiving season remember where happiness comes from:
Happiness is taking pride in who you are and knowing where you came from.
Happiness is spreading the wealth (charity work, etc.)
Happiness is taking care of yourself
Happiness is truly getting to know yourself
Happiness is putting other people in your life
Happiness is realizing that all things and people are connected
Happiness is in your back yard, so quit looking for it somewhere else.
Happiness is seeing beauty in everything.
DOND.....money does not buy happiness, however stress taken out of your life makes all of the above fall into place so much easier.
I hope this next year brings lots of Happiness!

Dawn Mays told me yesterday that the primetime episodes of this show are going to be cancelled and that only daytime episodes will be aired, is this true? I feel very disappointed about this, because the largest amount on the daytime board is $500K, no longer will contestants be allowed to play for that wonderful $1M fortune. Don't get me wrong, $500K is also a very nice fortune, but now I'm going to have to play this game EXTREMELY well if I still want to win my dream goal of $387,000. It goes to show you that this economic chaos has also ensued a negative response in game shows as well. I hope that some of us will make it to this show by May 2009.

I had a feeling that Ashley Otte had the $2M cash prize in her case(or tray, rather) when she was constantly knocking out all of the tiny cash amounts on the left side of the board. I feel TERRIBLE for her because she sold her $2M case for $260K...that's a horrible deal!! The largest potential offer was $1.1 million!!! She could've surpassed both Jessica and Tomorrow as the top DOND winner ever.
Do you people know that Benjamin Franklin himself actually preferred the TURKEY instead of the bald eagle to be America's national bird? We would have the turkey as our national bird if it would've been solely his decision, but everyone else preferred the bald eagle. American history is very intriguing...
I hope everyone will have a happy, blessed Thanksgiving today!

Oh Nick
Just one more dinner today and I am through cooking till Christmas or at least this big of dinners!!!!
Hope you were able to go home and visit your family!!!
I am soo ready for the holidays to be over. I know I sound like a real scrooge but you know I'm not I just think Christmas is so over rated these days it is all about what you buy someone how much you spend on each it is just rediculous....
Although my grandbaby is old enough this year she is going to understand and love openning gifts!!! I remember when my daughter and son was young and they loved being surprised with toys.... My son is still at home he loves the christmas decorations and loves to open gifts but he doesnot useually ask for things anymore. He is 16 he hunts and loves his mustang so he is easy to pick stuff out for....
Oh well, Nick I will quick yacking and let you get to reading others letters to you....
I KNOW I WILL SEE YOU SOON ON DEAL OR NO DEAL,( THAT IS WHEN THEY CALL ME ) THAT IS MY WISH FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

I have to echo Dawn Mays...my LEAST favorite thing about the holidays is that you spend so much money in foods, presents, and decorations!! By the end of December, you're financially exhausted...that's NO WAY to begin a new year if you ask me!
This Christmas, I want to do something different...I want to buy some canned food for my local food bank, and buy a toy or 2 to help a child in need through the Toys for Tots program(Dollydeb, I got this idea from you). So I'm going to buy a very cheap present this year for my gift exchange, LOL. My folks will just have to realize that there are people out there that don't even have a home, that don't even know if they are going to eat tomorrow, and have hardly any good clothing to keep warm. The holidays should ALWAYS be a time to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Instead of giving each other lavish presents, we should help make a positive difference in the lives of others.
After all, the TRUE meaning of Christmas is in the word...it's all about CHRIST. And Christ strongly encouraged his own 12 disciples to help those that were destitute.

HI Nick and fellow bloggers:
Nick, I sense a common thread on your blog now (NO-not a quilting bee thread, a conversation thread).
Anyway, I think this holiday season will definitely bring most of us back to what is important.
Dawn-you are so lucky to have your grandbabe nearby-less than a month to go on my gb2b!
Andres-I agree.
Linda-Great DOND lyrics! Let's all go marching in-on Mr. Banker's stage.
BTW-the Sunshine Shirt was on a local nbc station-wonder if you and Mr. Banker can have a peek at the tape? Hubby and I definitely walk the talk!
Nick-hope the rumors aren't true. Any hints?

Dollydeb, you're going to be a grandma? How many grand-dollies do you have so far? I want to get married and have a few children of my own someday, but I need to be more financially stable 1st...I want to get married in the Aloha State when the time comes! I think it's one of the most beautiful, romantic places on this planet. But right now, I can barely afford to pay all of my bills, let alone provide all of the basic needs for a wife and kids. I'm always watching "Jon and Kate plus 8" on TLC because I love how each of those 8 kids has his/her own personality and interests. And I'm amazed at how much time and energy it takes to discipline and raise all those kids! Kids are a huge responsibility.

It would be great if HOWIE MANDEL had his own blog right here on this website! I've been a huge fan of his even before he started hosting DOND. As a little boy, I used to watch him very often on "Bobby's World", I enjoyed that cartoon very much. And I also know that he's a stand-up comedian. As a native Canadian, Howie has also hosted DOND Canada in his birthplace of Toronto, Ontario. Howie's wife is Terry and they have 3 children--Jackie, Riley, and Alex. So I think that Howie is one of the greatest game show hosts ever--he's an expert at building up drama and suspense, he's always trying to remain optimistic for the contestant even though their board may look horrible, and he's got a great sense of humor. So Howie, if you ever read this, please make your own blog!

Hope your having a nice day.
Dollydeb, Maybe Nick could lead all of Mr. Banker's Bloggers on stage when
Casting calls us all up to be Contestants on "Deal Or No Deal". They have to someday soon realize that a "Banker's Bloggers" show would be the wildest show on TV. What a fabulous send off for DOND until their new season would start.

Good Morning Nick,
It's cold and rainy here in Ohio, with snow and icey rain on the way. I am trying something new this morning. I am clicking my heels together and saying "There's no where like the "Deal Or No Deal" stage, there's no where like the "Deal Or No Deal" stage. Do you think it will work? I would love to feel the warmth of the stage lights, and all the hot cash I could win.

Linda-thanks for the heads up on the nomination. I hope they win. DOND deserves the award, for sure!
Judyx3-you sure are the queen of costumes. Hey, maybe Nick could get you a spot as a honorary designer for the models (or for an awesome costume for Mr. Banker).
Thanks, Andres-but, as they said on the tape-i was dancin' like crazy. Jan-we could be a dancing tag team.
Dawn, how much snow did you end up with?
Nick, do you miss the snow in LA?
Hope all the rest of the bloggers are okay and had a great holiday.

Jessica and Tomorrow both had the banker BEGGING for mercy after they both won the million, LOL!! I think that's why the banker hasn't posted any new blogs since November 4(election day). And Ashley Otte would have completely devastated him if she had gone all the way to claim her record-shattering $2M cash prize!!! The ONLY thing that I would ask from the casting directors is that they would NOT put that dreaded "Deal Wheel" if they choose me as their contestant, because I remember that it cut Efren's winnings from $296K down to $148K and it was not very kind to other people as well.
Dollydeb: You should make a video of your grandbaby as soon as he/she is born. I'd love to see what the little rascal looks like.
LB: If I was you, I would go all the way to Culver City and DEMAND to personally speak to a DOND casting director, because you've been waiting a terribly-long time to be on this show(TOO LONG, if you ask me).
Linda: You should put a melody to your poems.

It is said "If at first you don't succeed try try again. And here I am!!!
Linda Blogging For Chance!!
Chance To Be A Contestant On "Deal Or No Deal"
I am qualified to be a Contestant, I have a backround in Mr. Banker Blogging, and I know how to play "Deal Or No Deal". I have 1,000,000 reasons to beat Mr. Banker at his own game. Mr. Banker you have been forewarned. I dare Casting to call me to be a Contestant, no I DOUBLE DARE CASTING to call.

Linda Caroots, you've been waiting to be on DOND since 2006??? When I attended the DOND audition in Salt Lake City on April 12th of this year, I was told that it could take up to 1 year to be chosen as a DOND contestant. If I have to wait any longer than that, then I guess it was not truly meant to be and I'll just have to move on. Or I could just audition again while I wait...there's nothing in the DOND rulebook that says we can only audition once! During my first audition, I told them that I deserve to be on this show because I'm a huge fan of Howie Mandel and can name most of the DOND models. Next time I audition, I'll tell them about my dream of winning $387,000 on this show. Hopefully, one of us bloggers will be on this show before the end of Season 4.

I actually drove more than 600 miles, by myself, all the way from Albuquerque to Salt Lake City to audition for this show on April 12, which was also Claudia Jordan's birthday. I believe this trip alone makes me a deserving applicant for DOND. What does a person possibly have to do to become a DOND contestant????

Morning Nick,
Singing makes one feel happy and relaxed, although when Mr. Banker
sings this he might feel uneasy. We want him to be on edge when we face him as Contestants. Ha Ha!!!
The "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" sing this song
Mon-ey! Mon-ey!
The "Deal Or No Deal" stage is very long
Oh, mon-ey-day!
We came to Casting with our pockets almost empty
Mon-ey! Mon-ey!
We want to go back home with a pocket full of plenty
Oh, mon-ey-day!
Gonna win all night, gonna win all day
We won't bet our money cause we want a full bag
Oh, mon-ey-day!
Mr. Banker bet we would lose going all the way
WRONGGGGGGGGGG!!!!

The governor of my state of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, is going to become Obama's Secretary of Commerce!! Finally, New Mexico is getting the recognition it deserves. Richardson served in the US House of Representatives for 14 years(1983-1997), served as the 21st US ambassador to the United Nations, served as the 9th US Secretary of Energy, and as the New Mexico since 2003--so he has plenty of experience to spare. So now my state is going to have Diane Denish as its first female governor. OK, that's enough politics for now.
People, PLEASE don't make the same mistakes that people like Brooks Leach made once you get on this show!! IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY SAFETY NET, YOU BETTER TAKE THAT DEAL. Don't become another Heather McKee for crying out loud. For 99.99% of contestants, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so out of all people it's unfathomable to me why the casting directors chose to give Brooks Leach a 2nd chance for this game...I think they are poor judges of character for having done so because TWICE he ruined this game, having won a total of only $410. In my estimation, he's one of the worst contestants ever because he took both opportunities for granted and I feel that both of his episodes were a complete waste of valuable air time for NBC. I know those words sound very harsh, but those are my honest opinions on this guy. If I was a casting director I would have chosen Julie Lanero to have a 2nd shot at this game because her home was completely ruined in New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina...she is so much more deserving than Leach to have gotten a 2nd chance. I say give Julie Lanero a 2nd chance!

Well Nick I made it. My fingers are finally uncrossed, and I figured that a little typing will bring them back to life. It is really cold here in Ohio. A trip to sunny California, and the stage lights of the "Deal Or No Deal" would really make me warm. Just a little hoping and wishing through my fingers. Ha! Ha! Ha!
How is everything with the Models? For the "Deal Or No Deal's" Christmas party someone like a secret santa should put a gift in each of the 26 Cases, and have everyone pick a case to see what they got as a gift, and have another 26 Cases to carry on until all get a Christmas gift. Just a suggestion.
Hoping your having a great day.

Today I bought a little Transformers toy at Wal-Mart to donate to one of the local toy drives here on my college campus, it's for a 6-year-old boy. I know that 1 man may not change the world by himself, but if I can put a smile on the face of a little child this Christmas, I think that's a great start. As financial expert Suze Orman says, "I want you to remember this: PEOPLE FIRST, then money, then things.". She always says that little phrase at the end of every episode on CNBC.

Has anyone on the show ever mention the blog? Do the contestants even know about the bankers or Nicks blog? What is with NBC? WE are loyal and we have stayed true to both blogs and to the show we have the personality and we all want our chance so what is the problem?? JUST CALL US !!!!

As a final remark, I think it's irrelevant for Nick Greco to post something about Halloween right in the latter part of November. Nick, are you on the Chinese calendar or something? LOL.
I'm very concerned about our economy. If Congress does not approve the $25 billion needed for Ford, Chrysler, and GM, MANY, MANY people around the country will lose their jobs. These 3 large auto companies employ a total of 320,000 people, so imagine what a devastating impact this would have on our economy if these 3 companies did not receive a bailout package from Congress.

Hi Nick,
I don't want a lot for Christmas, there's just a few things that I need
I just want numbered cases of my own, more than you could ever know
I want Casting to make my wish come true, all I want for Christmas is to be on the "DOND" stage it's true.
I won't ask for much this Christmas, not even snow
I'm going to keep on waiting for the call and watching the "DOND" show
I will make a list of my lucky numbers from 1 through 26
Thinking how the lights will be shining so brightly on the "DOND" stage
And how the sound of the Audience clapping hands will fill the air
Imagining how everyone is cheering, and hearing the telephone ringing
Mr. Banker won't you make me an offer I really need
Won't you please make my dream come true for me
I don't want a lot for Christmas just to be a Contestant is all I'm asking for
I just want to pick numbered cases from the Models right there on the DOND stage floor
Oh I just want io win a Million Dollars of my own more than "Deal or No Deal" Casting could ever know
Producers, Casting, make my wish come true
Mr. Banker all I want for Christmas is to match my intellect against you

Hi everyone, haven't been on here for a long time, just thought I would just come on to say hi.
Christmas is going to be sad for me this year, first of all my daughter won't be coming home with her family for the first time in 14 years....boohoo! And second I can't afford to buy my grandkids anything, but they are so sweet they said its ok, but its not ok with me. It makes me sad, grandmas are supposed to give and spoil the grandkids.
I agree, I think its sad that so many of us are so loyal and none of us have been called, but I guess its just a long shot anyway, so many audition and only a few get picked.
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Good Morning Nick,
What's up with your's and Mr. Banker's blogs? There's hardly any bloggers on, and no more than a few post...huh Halloween has been over, so it's time you move on to a new post Nick. When you think about it there is nothing else left to say about this post.
Tell us some gossip you might have heard about Mr. Banker's Bloggers possibly becoming Contestants on "Deal Or No Deal".
Have a great day Nick and all my Blogging Friends.

Nick Where are you?
Nick,Oh,Nick,
I really wish we would hear something from Nick, It always makes us feel better when he writes to us!!
I am staying faithful and hopeful and Determined!! Guys and Dolls I just feel it we are going to get our call and we as a group will stand on stage with the suite cases not only holding the cases but standing together strong and wanting each to break the Banker!!!In groups as big as ours strength will win!!
Nick,It is almost Christmas, have you thought about what you want?
All I want is to go to LA , I have got my husband talked into comming out there some time after the first of the year, I will guess in May or after.
I also want to be on DOND, Nick you will know if we get tickets to the show there will be an empty seat beside me , because my husband will be the one under his chair. Because I will get notice, I will do my happy dance and I will talk to Howie if able during breaks and I will be happy to coach the contestant.
Has anyone heard from LB? I am getting a little concern .
All you faithful bloggers keep hope and faith cause we will take over the stage.I see us putting DOND back on the Fall line up in 2009!!!!!!

I cannot believe how quickly this Fall 2008 semester went by!! I took a 3rd test in my economics class yesterday...there was no final exam in that class so I finished it early and I'm confident that I did well on that test! :-) But now I have to study for my statistics final exam that I'll have to take next Thursday, December 18. And we are still working on building that racecar...I'm in the FSAE program for undergraduate engineering students here at the University of New Mexico. This is one of the only 2 programs in the entire country that actually gives students academic credit for designing, building, and testing a racecar. If you're interested in learning about my program, just visit fsae.unm.edu for more details.
Dollydeb, won't your doxie Casey get jealous that you're going to be giving your newborn grandbabe more attention to him/her than to her? *Bark bark bark* will now mean "You've betrayed me, dollydeb!". LOL!!! You're a young grandma if you ask me, lol.
LB, I LOL'ed at one of your office DOND posters, the one where you have your husband tied to a leash while you're on the DOND stage!!
Jan Paquette, I don't think you've mentioned it, but do you play any musical instruments? I ask because I know you're such a huge polka fan. I still need to get 4 new strings for my violin. Last time I bought them, they were less than $30. But there's been so much inflation since then, and this time they now cost $45 for all 4 of them!! It's worth the money because I love to play my violin, and I wish I had a video camera to share my violin music with all of you wonderful people.
JudybnJudy: I haven't read anything from you in MONTHS now. How's everything going?
Dawn Mays: Santa Claus is the only one that didn't get a bailout package from Congress this year, lol.

It is quite obvious that The Banker is not at all curious about how Gottfreid Schmidt spoild his (The Banker's) childhood. I have the answer and will tell it, only after I am called on to be a contestant on DOND. No 30 minute short cut either, I want to appear on the original full blown, one hour version of Deal or No Deal. I can assure you that the answer will bowl The Banker Over.

Morning Nick,
I would like you and the Models to go around humming this around the Casting Department to give them a hint to call us to be Contestants.
Oh, the "Deal or No Deal" stage will be frightful,
But the Money would be so delightful,
And since "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" have no place to go,
Call us Casting, Call us Casting, Call us Casting.
Our love of the "DOND" show doesn't show signs of stopping,
And we thought of some Numbered Cases for popping;
Us bloggers spirits are high, don't let them be turned down low,
Call us Casting, Call us Casting, Call us Casting.
When we finally get the call to be Contestants we'll say ALRIGHT!,
With how long we have waited it seems like we're out in a storm;
Hoping to be Contestants, we are keeping our fingers crossed tight,
All the hope and wishing makes us "Mr. Banker's Bloggers" hearts feel warm.
The fire we feel for the "Deal Or No Deal" show is undying,
And, Casting, we will never do any good-bye-ing,
As long as Mr. Banker and "Deal Or No Deal' is on, we'll love them so.
Call us Casting, Call us Casting, Call us Casting.
PS: Merry Holidays to All at "Deal Or No Deal".
Now you can reciprocate Casting by calling us to be Contestants.
That would be a wonderful holiday wish from you to us.

Boy oh boy, it's been a while. Entertained to see how much fun everyone is having blogging.
I guess I should apologize for my lack of contributions to your blog (I'm sure my presence wasn't missed), I just like to be supportive.
I'm surprised, your questions were pretty direct, no room to play around with you, big guy. -
I can not tell you where I'm from (I mean geez, I don't know if you asked because you really thought it would help, or if you just want to end this...), that's just way too easy.
I'd prefer to watch football, of the 3 choices.
...my number!...yes, you officially want this game to end. I'm saddened by the thought. But, I'll have to stand my ground, and NOT ANSWER THAT either!
I do have a dog, that you have never dog sat for. Frankly, I'd be a little concerned (I've seen your work in action) ;-)
And lastly, do I like you??? Well...in a different way than the model you had impromptu Spanish classes with :-)
Happy Holidays to you and everyone else in cyberworld. And thanks to all the "Deal or No Deal" supporters. And good luck to those of you looking to become contestants. I'm sure everyone (including myself) could use an extra $1 mil in those volatile bank accounts.

Well, my fellow bloggers, it's SNOWING HARD right here in New Mexico! It looks like it's gonna be a white Christmas for us over here in the Land of Enchantment.
I just wanted to wish the following people a very happy and blessed holiday season and a fantastic 2009:
*Jan Paquette in Minnesota, LB, MarshaX3 in the naturally-beautiful state of Colorado, JudyX3, dollydeb in Michigan, Linda Caroots, Brian D. Nadler, Dawn Mays, Andrew B. in Houston, Mitchell Tickle, Kim Reed in Chicago, and anyone else that I may have forgotten(nope, I think this covers it, lol).
*Scott St. John, Josh Silberman, John Quinn, Howie Mandel, everyone that works behind the scenes to make this a spectacular show, all of the cameramen, the entire crew of DOND casting directors(assuming you EVER read this), all 26 beautiful models, and all past DOND contestants. And even the sour crabapple Mr. Banker.
*and last but certainly not least, Nick Greco for making the models look so beautiful on every episode. I think these girls have found the fountain of youth, because some of them are well over 30 years of age(Claudia and Patricia, for example) but still manage to look amazing. How do they do it?? My favorite model is still Aubrie Lemon(case 23) because my mom's birthday is on March 23, because Aubrie is a very beautiful, intelligent, and talented woman, and because Aubrie's case once held $3M for Matty Sollena(winner of $675K).
On the 1st day of Christmas my Aubrie gave to me...a check for ONE MILLION DOLLARS from the DOND banker!!! No partridge in a pear tree, I just need the money.

Hi Nick and all my Bloggin friends,
I dreamed last night that Casting was baking phone number cookies. Maybe their phones aren't working, and they want the aroma of fresh baked cookies in the air to travel and tell us we are going to be Contestants, you think??? December is the month for baking, Christmas you know. It's just a dream now, but if it's a dream that comes true lets hope that when they eat those cookies our phone numbers are embeded in their memory.
Andres, I love that 1st day of Christmas line :)
Deb and Dawn, great points.

Dollydeb: You recently told me that the state of Michigan gets 100+ inches of annual snowfall. So I have to ask, are any of the men in your family(your 2 sons, your hubby) involved in winter sports such as skiing or snowboarding? That would be great if you made a video of them getting huge air on a snowboard or something! That would be awesome!! The most daring thing I've done is putting a real, live snake around my neck and holding a baby gator when we went to Gatorland in Orlando, FL during the summer of 2007. But I would certainly love to learn how to ski or snowboard, if I had the money for it.
What about the rest of you bloggers...has ANYONE gotten that life-changing call from the DOND casting directors??? What do we possibly have to do to get on this show??? Doggone it, if they want me to get down on my knees and BEG them to let me be a DOND contestant, I'll do it!! I'd give or do anything to be on this show, except doing something outrageous that compromises my conservative values.

For Everybody:
Thumpety thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the stage of "DOND".
Casting, the Contestant caller knew
The Bloggers are here to stay,
So Casting said, "Let's call the Bloggers
And we'll have some fun
Now before I leave for the day."
Down to the "Deal Or No Deal" stage,
With a cell phone in his hand,
Dialing this number, that number, here and there all
Around the stage saying,
Come be a Contestant if you can.
I will lead them to the "DOND" stage of this town
Right up to Howie's spot.
Then Casting paused a moment when
He heard Mr. Banker holler "Stop!"
For Casting the Contestant caller
Had to hurry on their way,
But he waved goodbye saying,
"Don't you cry,
I'll be back to get you for the show today."
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Casting go.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the stage of "DOND".

Dawn Mays: I was walking around my college campus, and I saw a lady that looked so much like you!! Are you here in New Mexico? She had glasses like you, short, brown hair, a dark-green jacket, and a green purse. So I thought, "Could that possibly be...Dawn Mays??". Maybe you have a twin that lives in New Mexico, LOL. Sometimes I feel like my comments are going into a vacuum or void because I don't know if ANYONE from the DOND casting department even knows that these 2 blogs exist.

Hi Nick,
For Everybody,
Just a little funny story,
I saw Mr. Banker giving his list to Santa Claus
Underneath the stage staircase one night
He didn't see us watching TV
Watching the stairs to have a peep
He thought that we were watching $ amounts go up
In our family rooms, not ready to go to sleep
Then I saw Mr. Banker shake hands with Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Howie had only seen
Mr. Banker giving his list to Santa Claus one night
Howie finally saw Mr. Banker giving his list to Santa Claus
Howie did! He really did see Mr. Banker giving his list to Santa Claus
And Howies gonna tell Casting that he wanted to give his list too
Oh, what a laugh it would have been if Howie hadn't got his list handed in
Now Mr. Banker says:
I didn't! I didn't! I really didn't want to keep Santa Clause all to myself
You gotta believe me! You just gotta believe me!
Come on, Howie, believe me! You just gotta believe me!

Hello, my fellow die-hard DOND bloggers!! I'm officially finished with all of my classes this semester, today I took my final exam of Statistics 345, and I feel very confident about it. Now I'm just waiting for all of my professors to post my grades online. Now I can sleep late without having to rush to a classroom.
I truly believe that it will be a doggone, bloody shame if none of us become DOND contestants by the end of Season 4. I know that many thousands of people apply to be on this show annually, but I believe that we are more deserving than 90% of all those crowds of applicants because many of us have applied to this show more than once. And I need to be on this show to avoid our house from going into foreclosure, just like many millions of Americans. I also want to start 2 Roth IRA's for both of my parents because they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to retire on. May God truly help me and my family if anything were to happen to them.
Someone needs to SHATTER the banker's spirit once and for all ON A REGULAR BOARD, and it might as well be one of us(me, dollydeb, LB, MarshaX3, JudyX3, Dawn Mays, Jan Paquette, Linda Caroots, Mitchell Tickle, Kim Reed). I seriously think we should all travel together in a large van to Los Angeles, march right on down to the DOND NBC studios, and DEMAND that they give us our opportunities to become DOND contestants because I know that some of you have been waiting a terribly-long time to be on this show. They should have an entire week devoted to us, it should be called "The Die-Hard Banker's Bloggers" episodes.
I have a great idea...we should play this game in pairs(I could play with dollydeb). There are about 8-10 of us bloggers, so it would work great. For each pair of contestants they should have a board with 2 7-figure amounts(a $1M case and a $2M case, all cash values would be doubled on the board). We would have to discuss which case we would pick to have in front of us. Then we could alternate turns playing the game...for example, I could pick all 6 of the cases for the 1st round, then dollydeb will pick all 5 cases of the 2nd round, and so forth. And then at the very end of the game we split the winnings 50-50....for example, suppose we win $387,000(my dream offer)--dollydeb gets to keep $193,500 and I get to keep the other $193,500. What do you people think about this idea? Or do you think I'm totally nuts for making these suggestions?

Hi Nick:
Marsha-glad to see you posting. I have a feeling that there might be a changing-of-the-guards, as it were, on the DOND staff.
Nick, I hope they are just shuffling you around into a different position-you really added a great element to the website.
BTW-Nick and Nick's fans-my DIL went to the hospital this morning. Not long before I'm a grandma!
