To those of you, like me, who thought it was a Colbert "wriststrong" bracelet, we were wrong. Maybe Colbert will read this and give both Howie and I (that's right, I'm nudging my way in this) an honorary Wriststrong bracelet? You listening, Colbert?

LB - You sure do spend a lot of time on the world wide web, especially on this blog, for someone who has a wedding coming up. Are you gonna have a laptop set up at the altar so you can give us the play by play of what is going on?

Mary and Charlene (Martha Brown Teachers) - Wow, you're trying to embarrass me with that 6th grade story. You have a better memory than I, or I must have blocked that traumatic historical reenactment out of my mind, 'cause I don't remember that. I'm sure it happened, but it wasn't one of my finer performances that's for sure. I'm more of a Roman, than a Trojan.

I thought you might mention that everybody's favorite #10 is going to be on a show on another network. I will not say the show, but it's an acronym which could stand for (C)ase (S)winging (I)con. Yes Anya taking her killer looks and playing a killer. I think the air date is either the 16th or 24th.

And does anybody miss the lucky case game? Well if you do, leave a note on this blog. Maybe then the game might return to fill that void.

Hey Nick, Deb and Dawn! Yup wedding is 10 days away. Nick thanks 4 noticing LOL. I actually work ALL day on the web, Checking in on my favorite and Only Blog is my 15 minute break from what I get paid to do, "Find jobs for College grads of the University I work for." So 6 out of a 9 hr day Im on the net. Yr Blog breaks up the Boredom, so Thanks! On occassion I ck in at home but thats rare. The wedding is already planned. Everything is done, except for the wedding to happen. What few things still have to be picked up will happen over the weekend, & next week. Nicole Yes I do know what you are talking aboout,I to made it to round 2 last May 1 2007 and was asked back by Neal Konstantini on May 2 2007 everything went great taped interview toodk my supporters and played a mock game. I have been counting the days every day since Today is Day 353 and I am still waiting and yes I to got the yes card.
I also just went to another casting call April 5 2008 in Piqua Ohio I made it toround 2 but that was different than the last years tryouts all that meant was I went to another table with a different judge and had another 20sec that is as far as that went so now I have to days to keep track of it's been day 12 since the last try out.
I have blogged everyday since May 1 of 2007 If nothing else I have met alot of great people,and I will continue to blog and count my days . I am a Determined and Persistent Fan of the show.

Please tell me your story I would love to hear it.

I have to go now I have a meeting at my new Doctors office, Hope everyone there is nice??/ I am sure they are

I have NEVER blogged in my life but today I am absolutely bored out of my mind and figured what the heck – I’ll share some newfound DOND wisdom. . . . . . ;o)

Life Lesson #1. . . . . . . .
For those who have or going to audition for the show – KEEP THAT NEWS TO YOURSELF! Trust me, it becomes torturous waiting for ‘that’ one phone call when people keep asking you “did you hear anything yet?” EVERYday someone is reminding you that you have yet to be DOND’s choice!! Trust me save your self the aggravation, and the possibility of ringing the neck of the next person who asks, and DON'T TELL!

Life Lesson #2. . . . . . . .
As for those who made it thru to the mock game, for the love of GOD people, please stop reminding us how long you’ve been waiting for ‘that’ phone call. 1) It crushes the hope of others who are also waiting for their phone to ring – namely moi, and 2) especially for those who have used their real name on this blog, can you imagine how many people would be writing Nick if it ever got out that a person was called on the show after writing on this blog. You’re shooting yourself in the foot!

Ah, by the way, Nick, I was the last person to do the mock game in Philly! ;o)

Most Important Life Lesson of ALL #3. . . . . . . .
Do not put yourself in the position where you’re waiting for TWO phone calls instead of one. For example, I’m an avid Oprah fan. Every now and then she does these shows called Harpo Hookup where she helps people get their opportunity to make their dreams come true. So you know I wrote in and asked her if she’d give me that extra push I need to get me on DOND.
So now I’m waiting for 2 phone calls instead of one - AAARRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I can sure appreciate the beauty God gives some people. I have always been the odd man out all my life. Never the popular one and never the pretty one. Well, I'm home from the hospital I had hernia surgery yesterday and I got to come today..
I got no sleep at that place I swear they wake you up every 2 hours to take vital signs and then ask if they can get you anything to help you sleep. Oh well I am home now , and back to caounting the days Day 355 and day 14

Dear Howie, I have read your credits on your page, and I would like to say that I have watched you and enjoyed you in many of the shows you have done.
However there is one project that you did that is not mentioned, it is this one I want to thank you for.
Do you remember the computer game TuneLand?
I just want you to know that that game was a great joy for our Grandson. He was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was two years old. Soon after we bought our first computer, and purchsed TuneLand.
He would set at the computer for hours trying to find Howie. It kept his mind off the treatments and was a great source of joy when he found Howie.
That was 13 years ago, and Austen has gone on the be with the Lord. But I can often see him playing that game and laughing when ever he would click on one of the characters, and they would dance or sing.
That little computer game may not be as well known as the rest of your projects; but for one little boy it was a source of great comfort.
