What makes Life different from other police shows?

Charlie Crews. I love straight up police procedurals, about the fibers and the technology, but this show for me is about wish fulfillment. I wish I could be the person that he is... having gone through something unimaginable, but having conquered it... have been made better by it instead of bitter by it. That for me is the character I want to write.

"I love this show; I'm addicted to the Charlie Crews character. My only beef is would someone please tell Sarah when she's pointing a gun at someone to keep her finger on the trigger of the gun. Its hard to believe she's going to shoot someone with her finger resting on the side of the gun. Thanks a bunch."

Please Please Please do not take this under consideration, and actually speak to the props people about the "proper technique" of finger control when pointing a firearm at a suspect. I have been in law enforcement and involved in the training of LE for 12 years, and this aspect of the show adds credibility to the characters and everyone involved. The show had some very strong similarities to real LE and it has become, for me, one of the best LE shows I have ever watched. KUDOS for doing a great job in portraying Police Detective and giving us great entertainment.
(Side Note: Dani keeps her finger off the trigger:), be sure all your actors follow her lead and it will make it that much more REAL!)

When does the show come back on for the year of 2008 ?

This is one of the most interesting cop shows to come along in awhile. What original characters! I've even become interested in Zen as a result of it. Good work!

I love this show, too. I've seen every episode, though I just had to watch the final one online because I missed it Wed.

Seldom do I commit to a show all the way through. The last time was '24'; I've seen every episode since it's premiere.

Charlie Crews is a fantastic character and Damien Lewis is perfect for it. I've been wanting to see him with a leading role since 'Band of Brothers' another of my all-time favorite series.

I'd also like to take this time to thank NBC for making their online episodes available on Macintosh. Several other sites require Windows. Boo.

You know I love the show, however episode 8 Farthingale is the same basic plot as Bones season 2 episode 8 The Truth in the Lye.

Very unoriginal. Some of the scenes are practically the same such as when the women meet confront the problem head on.

I LOVE this show. Charlie Crews is the best character on television. the show is well written and smart.

Crews is, without question, an incredibly intriguing character, and I send major props to those who are responsible for his conception. What I find exceptionally promising about "Life" is the fact that the supporting cast has an equal potential for growth, development and complexity. Alas, the supporting cast can often be forgotten in the face of such a powerhouse personality as Charlie, but I am hopeful that all actors on the show will have a multitude of opportunities to 'strut their stuff.'

Here's to not only one great character, but several!

Make no mistake -- I like this show. I had written off network TV until Life, but there was something in last night's show I DEFINETLY DIDN'T LIKE AND STRONGLY OBJECT TO: Charlie strong-arming someone to get information. What if this person was innocent (like Charlie was of the murders) and HAD no information and no way of getting it? I hate it when I see TV shows doing this. It creates the idea that it's okay for the police to do jerk people around in the minds of the public, and it leads to innocent people being assaulted by law enforcement. Shame on you, don't do this anymore.

I just love Life! I've watched every episode so far and Charlie is such an amazing character. Funny, smart, driven. It can be hard to invest yourself in news since networks often cancel them fast. But I really hope NBC keeps this show on because I want to keep watching!!

Just fyi - it's John Lennon's birthday today - I bet Charlie would know that and celebrate it, at least internally!

I watched the premire tonight and just want to say I love it. It's about time I saw a show realistic about police corruption and I can talk from real life experience. My husband and I are going through a situation very close to this that when we saw the previews we thought to ourselves that someone heard about our story at first. Our attorney keeps on telling us when we are all done we should write a book about our ordeal. I just want to thank the writers, creator and stars.. it really hit home and meant a lot. God Bless

its also different because we cant watch it online like other shows ... that should change
