Introducing Michaela McManus
July 15, 01:06 PM
As promised, we wanted to give our Blog fans first dibs at our new cast member: Michaela McManus.
Michaela comes to us from the TV series "One Tree Hill" and we couldn't be happier to have her! She is originally from Rhode Island but went to Fordham University for undergrad and NYU for grad school, so we consider her a NY native.
Her character: ADA Kim Grayleck has a great back-story. She is a hot-shot young DC up-and-coming lawyer who has recently separated from her husband, also a government lawyer. Her marriage is at an end because Grayleck used information her husband gave her in confidence to blow the whistle on a Congressman involved in a sexual harassment case. She had been dealing with the policy-making side of sex crimes for years and worked for the Federal Office of Violence Against Women. So she works hard to keep things like what her husband leaked about the congressman from happening.
After losing her husband and many friends, too many people in DC developed a negative opinion about her biting the hand that feeds you. This sends Grayleck spinning. She reexamines her life and career and comes to the realization that it's the victims she wants to help. So she jumps ship to NYC and makes a lateral move into the Manhattan DA's office (she's no baby ADA, she's a proven trial attorney).
She's a crusader, she's a newly single woman not interested in dating, and she's going to pour all of her energy into her work. ADA Kim Grayleck is going to take on all comers!
COMMENTS
this actress sucks. not buying it - WAY too young looking...stop thinking you can put a pretty face in front of the camera and automatically have a great show still. bring back alex cabot. "up and coming actress" instead of a proven hit with the fan base (cabot)??? PLEASE. no wonder this show is tail-spinning.
just two points:
If acters/Actresses are simply Acting, what does it matter what age they play? Its just a role. Surely if she plays it well thats good acting and she needs to show what she can bring to Law and Order before she can be properly judged, surely?
My second point is this. I had not previously watched One Tree Hill or Law and Order, so Michaela with her own fan base is bringing new blood to these shows. Give the girl a break, and as one unmentionable suggested, Im sure she has better standards than to do what they suggested to get the role. Sour grapes springs to mind
I just wanted to say that I do not like the show having a new ADA. Their choice is questionable, too. I have watched this show from the beginning, and the only time I was unhappy was when the ADA's were changed before. Now it has happened again. With so many changes being made previously on the other L&O shows too, I can't take it anymore. I don't have a smudge of interest in this kid that has been brought in. What happened to the new guy from last season, Adam? Too many changes will eventually turn fans away. It has turned me away. I had high hopes for SVU because I stopped watching the other two shows because of too many cast changes. It's just not the same. If CI would get rid of the split characters theme, I would go back to it. I loved the show because of Vincent D'Onofrio(sp). Chris Noth should have stayed on the original show years ago instead of trying to step on somebody elses toes now. But back to SVU. I was hoping for more for the season premiere tonight. It wasn't a bad show, but get Olivia together already. She's loveable because she is always together. Take the spotlight off Elliott more often. Does the Captain or even Munch have a life outside of that precinct? Why not focus more on them rather than bring in some kid from a teen soap opera show? Is Fin next?
Am I the only one who thinks Michaela McManus looks WAY too young to be an A.D.A? She's only about 24 or 25, and prospective lawyers would JUST be leaving law school at 26... never mind being as high up as an A.D.A!
I love you simon how do I get on the show?I want to meet you!
Uh oh...ADA Kim Grayleck and Benson. Two beautiful women totally devoted to their work and sworn off dating. Sounds like possible fireworks to me.
And why not. Benson deserves ssomeone. Maybe then she can adopt the child she so desparately wants.

Okay Michaela got a bad rap for being with Chad's character on One Tree Hill and breaking up a very popular couple. In reality she is a pretty darn good actress. She is emotional and she is opinionated and she has youth that you can only hope for on a show thats been on now for ten years. Look at Law and Order they have been through what 5 ADA's and each time their rating's have gone up. People are kicking down Michaela coming onto the show when half of the people are talking bad about her like they did about Diane Neal. Look the only reason that Michaela got her part was because Diane decided to leave the show. I for one wasn't going to watch this next season but now that they are bringing her in as ADA I am so watching. And oh yeah for those who dont know she isnt 25 she is 27 and she isnt 12 she is 27. And also included is a youtube url for some clips of her. Maybe putting a voice to a face might help people stop judging our new ADA.
Comment on Guess stars. If you really want another emmy nominee then you should think about having Hugh Laurie as a guess Star. I don't know how he would fit in but a good idea would be to put him in as a doctor. We all know that he plays a pretty good doctor. I would really like to see him on the show....AT LEAST ONCE.
Yeah I think it's a little fa fetched that the new ADA just happenes to get the job so easily considering that nobody liked her back in D.C.,and that she also helped with sex crimes laws.
If you think about it they didn't even give a specific backstory with Alex and Casey, and Casey's exit still makes me mad because it was just so random how she wanted to win the case when she always lost her cases gracefully.Anyone else think she should've went to DC and helped with the sex crimes laws?I mean that would make more sense after being there for five years right?
I'm really going to miss Casey. DX
I'm very bummed Casey is gone. She was the best ADA, and it's so stupid that they did this. I don't know if I want to watch SVU anymore.
yeah. i'm gonna miss casey. i really don't see why they need a new ADA but i guess i'll just have to get used to it :/
I posted several days ago wondering who Richard White was and some of you mentioned the episode he was on-Stalked-so I watched it. Lucky for me I have the first season on DVD! Somehow I had never seen that episode. Wow! Whoever suggested bringing him back, now that would be something unexpected. He knew about Liv's past and El's wife and kids, and we don't learn in the episode if he gets convicted or not. He was creepy and menacing. Was that a threat he made to Elliot at the end? Who knows. I don't remember an episode where a criminal has vowed revenge and come back. That would be a way to tie the first season to this new one. Ten years is a long time and I bet a lot of us have forgotten those earlier episodes. Maybe the new (too young) ADA would get the case and bridge the past and present. I haven't heard anything on next season's episodes. Anyone have any spoilers?
I am not too excited about this new ADA, sometimes your hiring process seems random. Younger doesn't always mean better, For example Lake vs Munch. We will have to wait and see.
I totally understand how after 10 years people care about the characters lives, especailly their love lives. but until you find someone for Olivia (and not some random person off the street like Kurt Moss) who can care for her like Elliot does, people wil always focus on EO. Once Olivia deals for her trama, she should finally find Mr. Right.
Yes, she is a little young to have that kind of background.
I mean the actress portraying her is only 24. I wonder what that girl did at the audition to impress the production that much so that she got the part? I really do.There must have been so many other talented and more mature women there. I know she is pretty and all that, but can she act? And can she act outside her age? The ADA he describe in this blog seems to me to be atleast 30 years old.
I guess we'll just wait and see, maybe she surprises us...Hmm..
I totally agree with you Anonymous. If you go back to other production blog post they say the exact same thing. It does get tiring hearing about E/O getting together or why E/K should not be together or should stay together. Now for what the discussion should be about the new ADA. I think she is far too young to be playing this character. Maybe they are going to age her considerably. They would almost have to I would think.
Come on. Do we have to make every production blog about E/O getting together or E/K staying together? You guys post the same exact things all the time. Let's move on. What will be will be.
They already did the divorce thing and got Elliot and Kathy back together. I don't think they are going to go down that route again. I think they are just going to move on. Baer said that Elliot is going to learn how to be a husband and father agian.
me 2, but i would rather the show keep going.
Hmmm...
I never really looked at it that way MS. I don't want the show to end either, but I would still like to see it happen. :/
Question for SVUmac. Are the Dectives gonna act teh same way they did when Casey jioned teh squad or more like when Alex did?
Anonymoous I agree with u about the veiwers with the whole E/O thing. Mariska said though that if they get together the show will end.I want them together but i don't want teh show to end.
I am glad we agree, and don't worry you didn't hurt my feelings :)
No, no, Brianna. I hope I didn’t hurt your feelings. That’s the problem with blogs and boards. Sometimes we don’t know if the point we meant to get across was conveyed successfully. Which is why I tried to rework my thoughts to you. You see, it wasn’t that I had doubts about your capacity to understand, but conversely in my aptitude at conveying my thoughts correctly. We are on the same side. We both want E/O. That’s what matters. And I didn’t mention it before, but I do think that part of the reason Elliot went back after all of the hesitation was because he was trying to do his duty towards Eli as a father. We also agree in that, as well.
And now on to something else for me as well. I noticed that the episodes after the strike had a lot of the banter back that many of us love. They have a great sense of humor on this show. I hope they treat us to more of it sprinkled though out the stories this year.
I know what you meant. And I agree with you. Sorry if I wasn't clear
Right, that's divorce. But I do mean mutual. You mentioned Elliot divorcing Kathy. I think neither party is getting what they need from the relationship. But, of course, that is speculation on my part. I think this because I haven't seen anything to make me think otherwise.
I wouldn’t even state something like the separation comment, but one of the reasons (not the only reason to be sure) I ship Elliot and Olivia is because they obviously care deeply for one another. They have a bond because of what they’ve been through together, that goes deeper than the ordinary. We have been shown this time and again in the series. Some people think it is just as extremely close friends. And I see where they’re coming from. I disagree, though. When you have scenes that are unnecessary like Olivia calling Elliot’s name, as has been mentioned previously - that is not mere friendship to me. And the girl in the hospital with her just reinforced that idea in the hospital and after she hung up with Fin.
With Kathy and Elliot, I just don’t see this there. They just aren’t written like Olivia and Elliot are. And they don’t have the same chemistry. Not even in the same ball park. If they did, then things would be different for me. But they aren’t. Things are different between the Elliot and Kathy characters. And I believe they are different people now than they were when they first married. Elliot’s job alone has changed him. Olivia and Elliot understand each other without words because they walk the same path. How does one communicate the horrors they see everyday? What is it in them that makes them continue working the job in spite of the pain and personal loss? That thing inside of them that make the two continue on is part of what links them. And through things like the hospital scene and “Fault” and “Philadelphia” and “Burned” and other semi-articulate fumblings between the two we have been led down this path.
I’d hate to think they were toying with us, and so I refuse to entertain such thoughts. I give them more credit than to do something like that. That is why I wait and try to enjoy the great entertainment they serve up to me, and enjoy the little E/O parts they serve up to me now and then. Hoping for fulfillment in the end. One thing’s for sure, I certainly do appreciate what they’ve given us so far.
on a different note...will the new ADA replace the old one? :(
I like Novak
Yeah. But thats basically divorce. And they already got divorced once. So I guess it wouldn't matter 'cause it would be the same thing really.
They can have a mutual separation.
I see your point. But I can't think of another way for them to be together, unless Elliot just divorces Kathy.
I am an E/O shipper, don’t get me wrong. But I would hate to see it happen quite like that, Brianna. To make Eli not Elliot’s all of the sudden. That’s just bad from a writing standpoint. They’ve already established that he is Elliot’s. Elliot and Olivia may be put together without it coming to something like this.
Personal stuff is good as long as they don’t overdo it, and they never have. It’s all a matter of balance, which they are quite good at. They always have been. If they continue with cases like they had at the end of last year, I think they’re gonna do pretty good. That’s what’ll make or break them; if they still have great stories that keep us glued to our screen, whatever they do with Olivia in the relationship area won’t really matter in the big scheme of things.
So, I agree that it’s always about the cases and that should mostly be the focus, but the personal is what keeps me on this show. I am a person who watches character-based shows. If the characters are likeable, well-written and I can identify with them in some way and the stories are up to snuff then I’ll give it a chance. I look for a nice balance between the two that this show gives me.
You’re right, Desire, no one’s gonna be pleased completely no matter what they do. But that also includes what you are recommending they do as well. Right? You can’t please everyone; clearly, it’s impossible. But, even if they leave it alone and stick to the cases they are going to displease people. Although, they will please you. Which is more to the point. The following is not meant in an accusatory manner, merely as an observation: You, of course, are advocating the course of action you’d like to see, just like all of the others of us are advocating ours. You say that they, “can’t afford to lose more viewers;” a point I disagree with. Frankly, they might lose viewers no matter which course of action they take or do not take. How many they lose depends entirely on how they handle the direction they intend to go.
Also, in the preceding we are only looking at the negative. Which is what you postulated and, of course, isn’t the only possibility. Perhaps they will gain viewers. It has happened. In fact, I’m sure I read of it happening last season. So let’s not shoot the series off to the waste basket quite yet.
Brianna, i don't think they will because that's what alot of fans want
This doesn't really have anything to do with the subject of the new ADA, but...I have a great idea for the plot of the story. And yes, it does involve Olivia and Elliot. I was thinking...Elliot only got back with Kathy because of Eli. And let's give the plot a twist shall we? Elliot isn't Eli's father! That would WOW thousands of people. Don't ya think? And then Elliot will want a divorce. And he and Olivia can FINALLY be together. This would happen over time of course. So please tell me what you think. email me at catlover93@verizon.net
Again with the stale soap opera analogies. It’s such a hackneyed and manipulative one. And I sincerely mean that against the argument, not the person making it. I think, Desire, you honestly believe what you stated. Others who have used it - their motives I question. How many shows have hooked up or haven’t hooked up their characters and were not soaps? The definition of a soap is not: hooking up two characters in the show. It’s just a cheap way to insult a preference you do not desire by condescending to it and making it seem as, if you do it this way then no matter which way you handle it, it’s going to be wretched. Logically, this cannot be the case. I hate arguments that make castigation contingent on whether you please the person making them or not. It’s a poor argument, and not fair to the people you make them against.
The writers do what with E/O carly. Nothing as far as we know. I say the writers stick to the cases and leave all the other personal stuff alone. That's why there are so many arguments because noone is going to be pleased in this matter. You hook up D/o you loose lot's of E/O fans. You hook up D/O and you loose their fans, even though it's not alot of them you guys can't afford to loose viewers at this point. I beg of you guys leave the hookups for guiding light.
I don't want it to go on and on, but they need to show SOME kind of after math.
There was only ONE epi with Munch having personal problems in ALL teh epi's of svu.I want to see Munch get personal.
It would also be good if Olivia could some how go out with Porter, but WITHOUT turning it into a soap opra. The writers do it with Elliot and Olivia. Why not with Porter.
I think it would be good to see a personal epi with Elliot's kids.I heard on You Tube that one of Elliot's kids rebells BIG TIME against Elliot and Kathy. Is it true?
I know that Olivia goes and talks to a doctor about almost being raped. I hope that is the end of that and she can move on. First all we heard about was her being a product of rape. I got tired of hearing that every season. I hope this doesn't go on and on about her being almost raped.
I think they do focus on the cases but at the same time the writers add personal problems but without taking away the actual meaning of the show.
I still want to see teh after math of Olivias attck in "Undercover".Nobody, not even Olivia can bounce back like nothing happened.
S.J, is that in detective sex crimes unit, not just working together like at a office. There's a big difference. They should be able to escape the horrors of the day and not have to bring it home with them. That could cause huge conflict in a relashionship.
You wanna talk about chemistry? E-O. That’s chemistry. They smoke up the screen without even trying. I’m still lovin’ that writer so much who had Olivia murmuring Elliot’s name in the hospital. *sigh* I miss those days. Please bring them back, guys!
The new ADA's background sounds great. And they have a great history of choosing consistently good actors on SVU. So, I bet she can deliver.
Whatever they do with Liv’s relationships, they should always focus on the cases. The stories are what make the show. But, I’ve read that before on here: that Olivia should have someone who doesn’t work with her. I know of several relationships where the couples work together and are really in love. It happens in real life and it could happen in screen life. I’ve seen fic writers create very good pieces of work with the two. If these unpaid fans can do it, then the SVU writers could pull it off. That’s why they get paid the big bucks, because they’re good at what they do.
I’m the opposite of Cahilla - I’d rather have Olivia with Elliot. But if she isn’t ever going to be with him then I’d rather her stay single. In that, I side with Cahilla. I just don’t see anything at all there with her and Porter. Period. Porter’s alright though. But, personally speaking, whether he comes back or not really won’t affect my enjoyment of the show one iota. I think they were leading up to something with her and Elliot in season 7 and 8. Hopefully, when they said they were going to postpone it, that’s exactly what they meant.
The writers have given the new ADA a really good background...but can Michaela McManus play the part.
We will have to see.
I am so glad that SVU will be back soon...Will there be more of an intense relationship between Elliot and Olivia?
In the scenes I have seen them in they both argue allot, always picking at each other. In a way that is chemistry, cause you can in a way tell that they like each other, not romantically though. And they did have their moments. So If I put my mind to it, I do see what they see.
But I agree with Desire - maybe it should be with someone who is not in the same field as her. Then again - no relationship for her is my first choice. Focus on the cases!
I would prefer that the didn't give Olivia a BF in the same work field as her. She needs someone who doesn't see the same things as she does so hat she escapes work while she's at home instead of having to deal with it both places
But as Cahilla said, I hope you guys don't write her in a boyfriend on the show that's not what it's about. And also. The D/O shippers never have any valid scenes of chemistry. Thay think he's hot that's it and It's getting old hearing the 4 5 6 7 of them posting that repeatedly on here
i know. i didn't even know who the dude was at first.
He he he - I had to look him up too after reading this blog and seeing his name mentioned so many times. But when I found out who he was and re-watched those episode I could kind of see what these people have seen. And it would be an ok choice if they decide to create her a boyfriend - for the reasons I mentioned in my previous post.
But personally I don't need to see him together with Olivia..
Some people think they had chemistry? I barely remember their scenes together. Let alone any chemistry.
I had to look him up to even remember who he was.
About Porter. I am not a shipper of any kind.I don't have any need for seeing Olivia in a relationship. Actually I hope they don't write in a relationship for her - it would take too much focus away from the show and what it is about. I think there is a fine balance on bringing in the detectives personal life and focusing on the cases - which, at the end of the day, is the real purpose of the series. It is not a soap opera, a sitcom etc. It is a cop show about sexual based crime which they are there to work with/solve.
But the reason why I personally mention Porter is that - IF they do decide to go down that road, creating a man for Olivia - I first of all really don't want it to be Stabler. But if I'd had to choose, the first person come to mind is Porter. Just cause we have seen him before, we know their story together. That way the writers wouldn't have to use allot of screen time introducing a new character.
And Porter is the one male character she has had a good chemistry with besides from Stabler. So maybe thats why so many people want to see Porter again?
As anonymous said. That's what it is, and it's getting tiring.
Either that or he has 3-4 die-hard fans who hang out on here quite a bit.
You know, all this talk of Porter is actually making me weary of reading his name. The guy was tangential in the SVU series. He wasn’t bad, but he’s not someone who crosses the thoughts of myself or most viewers I discuss SVU with. So, I was sitting here reading this blog and thinking there has to be something more here to the few people who keep asking about him. I’m thinking It has to be largely because of their shipper status. I mean, as I said, coming from a regular viewer’s point-of-view he’s barely on the radar.
hi.. im a hugeeee fan of law & order svu.. i watch it almost every night. i was wondering what id have to do to maybe play a role in an episode. please reply at my email:: lilmiszpreciosa@aim.com
Elliot and Olivia are such remarkable friends. They are two old, intimate souls who know each other so well. It was so perfect in the finale when you had Olivia tell Elliot to make things right with Fin. You guys portray them beautifully. Are they ever going to get together? They fit together so perfectly.
I think the mother episode sounds like it has great potential. And the premier episode with El’s time with Dickie is sweet; it shows what an awesome father he is. But I honestly hope they don’t go overboard with the family life. That is not my beloved SVU, that is some snoozeville family melodrama series.
I hope so too, Ashlyn. Either scenario could work. Which is, of course, why I qualified that statement with, ‘if she decides to talk to anyone else about it.’ Olivia is a somewhat introverted and taciturn character when it comes to personal hardships. Actually, I think at first it would be only the therapist she’d open up to. Eventually, it might come up with El if they decide to go that way. It’s actually astonishingly healing to talk about it with someone you trust implicitly--not just someone you’re paying to help you out. Especially if they’re supportive. And I’m sure the writers would have El be supportive. She would need to know that he didn’t see her as less or weaker knowing what she confided.
I think that’s very insightful to her character of you to say she might be afraid to be seen as a victim. That’s the way Liv comes across. She doesn’t like to show frailty and tries be as independent as possible. But, of course, we all have to lean on others sometimes. Especially after what she’s gone through. ‘No man is an island’ is trite but true. And she is not superhero Benson. And thank God the writers don’t try to make her such. Give me realistic characters any day over Mary Sue or Gary Stu. But, I digress, I imagine that he, being the intelligent man he is, doing the job he’s done now for years and being her partner (and best friend) for about ten of those years, that he already suspects something went on in that basement. I’m thinking they’re just having him be patient and let her tell him if and when she’s ready.
As for the writers disappointing us, I really believe they are some of the best currently out there amongst television writing when they put their minds to it. Because of that, I have high hopes for this season. And I really hope Neal Baer writes an episode this season. I loved his contributions last year.
I want to see Richard white again also, but I also want to see E/O. What's going on this season besides the new ADA
Are you guys going to bring back Olivia's brother? Or maybe bring back Dean Porter? I wouldn't mind seeing them again.
I'm glad Elliot is back with his family. I love that we get to see his mother this season. I wouldn't mind seeing one of his brothers or sisters either.
I know anonymous. I hope you are right about the therapy episode - and yes, I REALLY hope we get to see more of her emotions other than only a couple of words at the end of an episode!
But maybe she won't talk to Elliot, sometimes it is also easier to talk to someone who are more neutral, someone that don't know you as well. Maybe she is afraid to be a victim in Elliot's eyes. Remember "fault". In that episode he said he don't want to feel as if he has to protect her.He was mad and accused her of not being able to handle things on her own. Maybe that sticks to her and results in her not wanting to open up for him.
Only time will tell! And hope the writers don't disappoint us! :-)
From the little we’ve heard Liv is supposed to go to a therapist and admit some of her emotions from her ordeal. Which is great. I am so glad they are dealing with it. And I wonder if we’re going to get more than just a few bits at the end of an episode? I haven’t heard about her opening up to El about it, Carly. But if she does speak of it to anyone outside of her therapist, he would be the most logical choice as he is the person she knows and trusts the most out of anyone else. Speaking from a victim’s POV that is the person you’re going to open up to about it, if you do open up about it to anyone. That is the most realistic anyway, speaking from personal experience.
Chris is an excellent actor and has been nominated. And I believe he should've won an Emmy by now. One of the Elliot-centered episodes from season 7 actually moved me to tears (that never happens to me); it was so well done, from an acting standpoint and from a writing standpoint.
Last year he didn't have much to play with. I wonder if the episode with his mother will give us something? "Paternity" really didn't at all.
I see Mariska was nominated for an emmy for Undercover. Has Chris ever been nominated? He really needs an emmy worthy episode this year that shows his acting skills. Maybe something happening with one of his daughters and how Elliot copes with it?
Is there going to be a E/O hookup this season, god I hope so
Bring back Porter!
I know I want Richard back too.
And I agree about Richard White - bring him back you guys!! I've been wanting that since season one!
"I hear Olivia goes to see a doctor about her almost rape, because she is having trouble dealing with it."
Where did you hear this anonymous? Hope it is true!!
"I hear Olivia goes to see a doctor about her almost rape, because she is having trouble dealing with it."
Where did you hear this anonymous? Hope it is true!!
I wrote a script and would love to be on svu this season can someone please get back to me about where to send the script thanks
anonymous are u serious? That would be a great epi, because, Elliot would be like "where were you?" Then she would end up telling him what happened.
I hear Olivia goes to see a doctor about her almost rape, because she is having trouble dealing with it.
I'm glad everyone wants to see Riard White come back.
I don't have local channels. Is VU ever premiere on usa? It's the only channel I can watch svu.plz
She sounds tough. Awesome.
You know who I'd like to see more of this season? Huang. He's pretty cool. The new ADA sounds promising.
I would like to see Richard White back too. It might be a bit much having Olivia deal with the aftermath of Undercover and have Richard come after her, but i'm sure TPTB could pull it off if they wanted to!
To Mary
Yeah - I read that here, that they would revisit what happened in undercover. Someone asked "Will we see how Olivia deal with her emotions in upcoming episodes" The answer was "yes, especially next season"
I interpret that answer towards that they would revisit it in upcoming episodes of season 9, but especially in the next season. When it was not mention at all for the rest of season 9 - I got the feeling they'd just dropped the whole plot line. Thats atleast why I personally ask about it again :-)
Will there be a lead-out episode for Diane Neal where the plot explains why the character of Casey Novak is leaving? That's what they did for Stephanie March, so I'd like to see it happen for Diane Neal too. Thanks!
congrats on mariska's Emmy nomination!!!
woohoo just what i needed!!!
you guys im sure i read in this production blog that olivia will be shown dealing with her issues from undercover...it wasnt that long ago check maybe 5 or 6 posts back!! yay im sooo xited
is mariska ever gonna do a blog again?
yeahI writ script too.Where can we send them?
my bad onth conusion of the episode
I wrote a script and would love to be on svu this season can someone please get back to me about where to send the script thanks
It sounds to me that the detectives better watch what they say around her. It sounds like she can't keep secrets.
Richard white was not from the episode "Closure" but from the episode "stalked" season one :-)
But yes, he is the guy that killed an ADA and later stalked Olivia.
So happy so many people agree with the fact that they should revisit what happened in undercover and show us how Olivia is dealing with that. Not even she can bounce back from such an attack, and if the writers just drop that story and make it so that Olivia was not traumatized I will be very disappointed!
Also agree that Richard White should be brought back!
Looking forward to see the new ADA. I was a little worried since she is such a young actress - but I can see that they are using her young age in he characters story - thats nice. Sounds like an very interesting character too. Can't wait :-)
Thanks for the info, Carly. I will watch Closure again.
TO ALL MARISKA HARGITAY FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mariska was nominated 4 an Emmy.Ius fond out.
He's 4rm the ep "Closure". He killedan ADA that Oivia knew andhe satlked Olivia and tried to kill her, bu failed and got sentto prion.
Would someone out there please tell me who Richard White is? I've been seeing his name on several sites and I can't place the episode. Thanks.
I miss Casey, but I think Kim can do it.Svu always turns outa winner. Also, I'm ith eveyone else on Olivia in "Undercoer".Not even Olivia cn just bounce back like nothing happened.Se was almost raped for crying out loud.I still want to see Richard White come back and try to get revenge on her.I think i would be a GREAT episode. One more question.Did Marska get nominated for an Emmy?
Thanks for the updates! Can't wait for the season premiere in September!
A quick question:
Are upcoming episodes going to address the trauma that Olivia experienced in "Undercover?" I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see this followed through; it was such a defining and emotional time for Olivia, it simply cannot be ignored!
As always, thanks for giving us the inside scoop! So glad to have you back!
Im gonna admit I was a little uneasy at first about having a "One Tree Hill" actress on the show (no offense to OTH viewers - its just not the same calibar as SVU IMO) but Im getting excited about this girl.
I would also like to see more on the effects Undercover had on Olivia. I was shocked that was just dropped.
i still miss casey but i cannot wait for more svu! so i hope micheala will be just as good =-]
Sounds like she could be great. Thanks for the information!
I think I'm gonna like her! I do expect her character to be just as passionate about defending the victims as the former ones - that's why I liked Alex and Casey so much - but I'm sure Michaelas gonna play the part just fine. I think she's very talented, from what I saw in OTH.
Oh, and yay!!! You guys updated! \o/
Thanks for the update, SVUmac. Please keep giving us some news and tidbits to keep us going until September. I liked both Alex and Casey, and I hope I like Kim, too. I have never seen the actress before, so I have no preconceived notions about her. Can you tell us more about upcoming episodes? We've heard about El's "mental health issue", but will there be any episodes dealing with Liv and what happened to her last season? More gossip, please!
I can't wait till the new episodes come out, but I still miss ADA Novak.
I wrote a script for SVU and would like most love to be on it. I have been trying to contact someone for a long time I really want to be on it with my script or as a guest star like they have with kids. Please get back to me again my e-mail is drama_princess904@yahoo.com where you can e-mail me by the way I am 12 about to be 13. Thank you so so much

Really good show, really enjoy watching. Just a little curious tho where is Law & Order SVU filmed, is it filmed in New York or Canada?
