I LOVE SVU!!! I'm a HUGE fan of Olivia & Elliot!!! They DO belong together but at the right time!!! I'm not ready to see the show end but when it gets close to the finale they need to end up together!!! It would make the right ending for the BEST show on tv! I will continue to watch the show but if Olivia or Elliot goes then I would stop watching! They make the show along with Munch & Finch. Writers keep up the EXCELLENT writing & remember to keep the four in the SVU as well at the right time bring Olivia & Elliot together!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! It is the ONLY show I'm committed to watching faithfully every week!!! I will say one last thing, I wasn't so faithful though when Olivia wasn't there & Beck was the fill in! I didn't like her there at all! I was VERY excited to see Olivia back!!! Bensen & Stabler is the way it is should be!!! After last night's show though, I'm worried with what might happen next!!! Regardless of how great it would be to see Elliot and Olivia get together in an episode, I truly believe it would be the end of SVU. In my honest opinion, the show would not be able to work without the core 4, and if Olivia and Elliot got together, them working together as partners would not work out, causing one to be forced out of the SVU.

i agree with everyone on this page since season 7 its done it for me. if e/o dont get together soon im not watching i cant take it anymore i love the show its my favorite show on tv but e/o needs to be together even if they dont last long. svu have the best writters on tv they could do it. e/o dont have to stay together long they could get together one night after a stressfull case and wake up the next morning and realize the just need to be partners atleast for now for the good of all the victims.their parnership and friendship is to strong they could last thru anything thats been proven with everything thats happened to them in the last 2 seasons their chemistry is to strong to try to overlook it and i wont anymore.

I have to agree with everyone else on this page the only reason i watch the show is b/c stabler and Benson belong together and if their never going to get together than i have no chocie but to quit watching it. i agree about the passion the two have together on set is amazeing but it also seems like their is more there than just parrtners. they must get together even if they get together and it does not work out the charcters belong together. you can see it and if that is not what the writers are heading for than they need to find some way to tone done the passions the chracters have for each other. and the beck thing was... it was horrible it should have never happened iam more than happy that she is gone. when they kissed i threw my remote at the tv and about cried i could not beleve that the writer took it to that level. it should have never went past partners.

He said probably, he never said a definate answer. So, there's hope. I think it would be a better storyline if they were together though. But for the Drama, I would have to watch ER. And for stuff other than character's uh...personal lives...it's SVU all the way. So congrats SVU on keeping it mostly about the real reason for the show. I still say they should get together though.

I love the relationship between Stabler and Benson. On the one hand I want the characters to hook up but on the other hand, I am afraid it would ruin the dynamics of the show. It is obvious that both characters are great friends and if the situation arose would take a bullet for each other w/o hesitation.

I remember reading a TV guide interview where either Chris or Mariska described the relationship as more of a brother/sister type. The episode whith Vanessa Williams where the Olivia and Elliot took some great cheap shots at each other was great. When Elliot sarcastically says that their partnership is the longest relationship she has ever had with a guy was a great zinger. And then she got her own in when she insensitively brought up his temper issues and marriage problems was so so below the belt. You could see the look on his face. One of hurt as if to say "how could you rip my heart out like that?"

Of course, they made up at the end of the episode. Through out the episode they both admitted how wrong they had been about the case. And Olivia's comment at the end when she said...."After all, as you said, you're the longest relationship I have ever had with a man" Classic.

If they ever do get together, it should be saved for the last episode of the series. If we're lucky..that will be after the show has been on the air for 20 years and they are both promoted to Captains.

I was really disappointed when Elliot went back to Kathy. It is just wrong after she bailed he goes back to her that doesn't make sense she should of went beggin to him and he should of said NO! Then Elliot and Olivia should of talked about their chemistry cause they care about each other so much! The two are meant for each other I mean look, the work together, they're parteners, they talk to each other on the phone at their house, and every now and then they talk about their personal lives to each other. After 8 years of watching I am greatly disappointed to hear you say that Elliot and Olivia will never get together. I no longer have a reason to watch. I have waited patiently as their characters grew, they understand each other like no one else ever will, this is how you wrote them. To never put them together is wrong, they need one another. Last season Elliot said the two things he couldn't afford to lose were Olivia and his job now he has almost lost both so why didn't he end up going to her? It didn't make sense, the time for this is now, they are at a good place, a place of growth. Having him go see Kathy was unrealisitic, after all the pain, and having gotten to a final signature...people move on, when ther is so much damage that you disolve 20 years of marriage, that's huge. It's over and it seemed pathetic and out of character for him to go there. There are so many story lines that would be enriched by them taking the steps to at last find one another. I don't know why I am making this plea, you haven't listened in 8 years, why would you now? I guess I just have to be done with SVU, knowing they won't ever be together I wish I could make you give me all the hours of my life back that i invested in this show. How disappointing. How wrong. There is no reason to watch now.

I'm a huuge E/O fan, but I think having Elliot and Olivia with their tension is much more enjoyable then if they actually got together. Of course, if they got together on the last episode of the show... priceless.

Aah, I'm torn on this one. On the one hand, you two have amazing chemistry, and it's a joy to watch. On the other hand, I've had (and have) amazing chemistry with a couple of guys I work with, and I get rather tired of the rumours. We're passionate people who share a passion for the work we do - that doesn't mean we're sneaking off behind closed doors every chance we get.

Besides, it's nice to see a passionate, committed, devoted relationship that doesn't have sex as its basis. (Occasionally it is nice to see real life modeled on TV.)

Elliot and Liv have to get together. They just have to. They are meant for each other! He cant go back to his ex-wife. theres a reason why shes the EX. Liv and El belong together. I hope they get together b4 the show ends.

I sure hope the writers will reconsider not putting Olivia and Stabler together. I'm not sure I can even stand to watch knowing it won't ever happen.
