Where is Law and Order filmed?
All the Law and Orders are shot in New York and New Jersey...that's why I took the job! Usually, we try to film within 25 miles from the city. It's a very tough schedule. Tonight's episode was shot in eight days, which does not lead for a lot time in traveling.

I fell in love with Mr Big on "Sex in the City" our son who turned 30 last August was in San Diego on the USS Dubuque (LPD 8) and served his five years didn't forget my all time "Sex in the City" he bought me the whole series and now the movie and the book of the movie I didn't know Mr Big (Chris Noth) was also on Law and Order now he's leaving again why????? how is his new son must be soon 1 yr old so soon any pics

The new captain is not very likeable, but I will give him a chance. I did not like Logan at first but he is more likeable now so anything is possible. I liked Logan's partner all along but now she's gone and I have to get used to someone new. Goren and Eames are the best though.
I just realised what I want to do for my (38th) birthday next month is play hooky from work (bedding design) and see CI being filmed.
I live in Brooklyn, but I suppose that probably wouldn't be possible due to secrecy of location...
There was a rumor it was being filmed in Red Hook a couple of weeks ago.

Are the writers on the set while they are filming? Are all the lines set in stone, could the story change while filming? because of seeing a different perspective while in the moment? Hope that makes sense to you

i really want to see eames and goren get together. they have really good chemistry. the rating must go down when eames and goren are not on the show. loved the shows when nicole was on there. she needs to come back!!
Why is there virtually no surround sound (5.1) on any of the L&O shows?
On the other hand...this was a terrific episode...great writing. Love the Decklin character...give us more.
I love the completely New York feel to the show - honestly it's just part of the brand that we all love so much! I always wish to myself I'll see you guys out there filming - I live about four blocks from Chelsea Piers - but I'm so happy with the season premier! I hope Criminal Intent keeps up with previous seasons' intrigue and this season's new style! Great job to the L&O folks!

Well I have to tell you I even watch the reruns because CI is one of the few shows I don't feel embarassed to watch, most others are so trite that I know what's coming even before it happens.
Tonite was well done but VERY dark...almost too dark!
