When people come into the show, anybody playing a cop goes on ride-alongs, gets some gun training, talks to detectives. The prosecutors almost invariably spend a couple days in the DAs office. It's not required for the detectives to become provisioned in firearms or for the prosecutors to be legal experts.

i want to know the name of the episode that was played last night. the one with a boy named tori and when he was kidnapped 5 yrs ago by a sex predator. and then tori murdered the 8 yr old little boy w/ a pillow
Paul Robinette is making a resurgence of appeances, on the defense side. are there plans for at least one spin-off from the defense side with Paul Robinette as the lead character?
Everyone makes typos and most of us make occasional spelling mistakes, but I was very surprised to see how many of both, as well as grammar mistakes, appear throughout the timelines and character biographies for the three series. Frankly, it's an embarassing mess. Judging from the way many posters here write, I doubt many of them would, or could, notice, but it still reflects badly on the shows and on NBC. Like I said, we all make mistakes, but there's no excuse for not proofreading.
TO PUT IT BLUNTLY, MR. WOLF, YOUR NEW l&o ON FRIDAY NIGHT SUCKS BIG TIME! NO CHEMISTRY WITH THIS NEW PARTNER FOR JESSE. LOSING DENNIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE! YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT ON FIRDAY NGIHTS WITH THESE NEW PEEPS. THEY SUCK!
Do you know if any prosecutors office is using clips from Law & Order as part of its training? I particularly enjoy the motion practice on the show, which is something I don't see much of on other legal dramas.
You are making a mistake by not having an old work horse of a cop as a main caracter with Green. Why do you think so many people watched before you stuck in the sex stuff? Because they could relate somewhat and it was real, not plastic.
To me it all seems so real! - they do a great job!
are you going to exhibit the next generation of criminal justice agents of change?
Who are your favorite writers?
Well hopefully, they've watched L&O before and know how to act. ;)
