dude thats pretty sweet what are the drums like?

Aaron Responds: They're pretty good - a four pad set, with a pedal! They seem pretty solid; the base and legs and everything are metal, and they seem like they could take a beating! However, I gotta say that I think the drums are definitely the hardest part of the game!! I don't know if our sync is off or what, but MAN. The drums are NO JOKE.

I'm addicted to guitar hero too.. but i'm not that good! (i can only do the "medium" level)hehehe... I can't wait for that ROCK BAND! Sounds so cool!!! AND IT FEATURES MY FAVE BAND METALLICA! WOW! Can't wait to play the drums! LONG LIVE ROCK!!! ^^

You're right, I am jealous.

I'm not much of a "gamer" as it were (my favourite games include RBI Baseball for the NES, NHL '95 for Genesis, and Madden 2005 for the PS2) but I can't think of much more in life that I've looked more forward to than ROCK BAND.

First of all, Guitar Hero is awesome, so that covers the guitar and bass portions. Second of all, that drumming game in arcades is hella cool. Finally (and most importantly), the only crappy thing about Karaoke Revolution was the song selection, and ROCK BAND rips it to shreds. Combine them all together and I have no doubt my friends and I will have so much fun our heads will explode.

Can't wait for the end of the month. You lucky bastard! :P

I'm glad to see you're weathering the strike well. I also hope that Conan and his family are relieved by the arrest of his stalker. I guess you must be legally (or corporately) unable to comment on it, but I had no idea that the guy was serious about his obsession.

Aaron Responds: Yessir!! We are weathering the strike VERY well... So far! Monday's another day, though!

The Underground has hit a few behind the scenes snags this week (there's a lot going on here at the show, strike or not), but I'm really hoping to try and ramp it up next week!!!

Wow, I heard about this before you posted your blog! I'm jealous. I'm WAITING to play that during Thanksgiving with the bros. Guiter Hero 3 kind of let me down with song choices. Plus, on PS3 and Xbox you can download entire albums of The Who, Metallica and a couple others! How awesome is that!

New Jersey is.....well, let's just say we get the Rock Band shaft out here.

My wife plays guitar hero and i am affraid to pick up the guitar. I have seen people's lives pass before them while playing Guitar Hero (sort of like time lapse photography). Also, i am no good at video games that are timed or require you to work at the video game's pace. I am an easy going guy. So the levels of super mario bros. that scroll automatically are not for me. I like to stop and smell the roses in my video games (sometimes i stop and punch the hookers).
