Knight Rider

Thanks for watching!

Tonight was our 17th and final episode of the season, but it was actually shot as our 13th episode. Matt Pyken has already touched upon some of the reasons why episodes get shuffled around in his blog entry from Dec. 31st. Why did this episode in particular get moved? It's simple. After looking at cuts of all the remaining episodes to air, this one most felt like the beginning of something new. And, ideally, that's what you want in a season finale -- a launching point for the following season.

So which episode was actually the last one shot? That would be "Exit Light, Enter Knight" written and directed by Gary Scott Thompson. It's the one with the bank heist that Mike gets wrapped up in. Here's some pictures I took on set the very last day of filming...

The always stunning Deanna Russo.

Paul practices a "fireworks fist bump" with guest star Alyssa Shafer, who played the adorable Maddie.

Justin-zoe-blackbery.jpg

Does Justin have a pink Blackberry? I'm guessing it belongs to Smith... Also noteworthy: That man you see standing behind them. That's Jon Briddell, Val Kilmer's "voice double"

Paul again, relaxing between takes...

And this is from the day after we wrapped for the season. That city you're looking at is Santa Clarita, CA, home base for Knight Rider and our crew. And that rainbow could not have been bigger and brighter. We're still looking for the pot of gold, though...

Hello I just saw the last epidse of the season. Will there be a new season and if it is when? I have some ideas for the new season and I hope you like them. 1. Mike discovers from his past he has a youger sibing [like say bother or sister and he needs to help and protect the sibing cause no one else will help. and 2.The old kitt comes back to help out the new kitt. Again I hope you like the ideas and Keep the show going. Thanks again, Carey [huge fan]!

I hope there is a second season at the end of the rainbow....:) When do we find out? Great episode tonight.

There were a lot of subtle homages in this episode to the Knight Rider we have all hoped to find in this series, and this was definitely the best paced episode of the series so far. I hope NBC gives the show a fair shot at a second season, because you all have really done a great job since the reboot. What a difference a season makes! Best of luck to all in whatever comes next.

Not sure how I currently view the whole Mike/Sarah status (coming off the heels of that bar girl-thing)...BUT nice way to end the season. Fair amount of action and some good Billy time. I enjoyed the interaction between the two ladies (for once!), Sarah and Zoe.

KITT is a little wise guy sometimes, isn't he? Rock on, KITT.

Here's hoping for a Season 2 in the fall. One thing I truly did enjoy this season was definitely Mike and Sarah, as friends, co-workers, and beyond (hence why I'm not a fan of the little Julie stint). And who could ever not love KITT??? I thank YOU KR crew and cast!

And of course, great last day shoot pictures!! Pretty rainbow.

Another decent episode tonight. NBC, please give us a second season. Also, please replay the second half of the season for others to watch this spring and/or summer.

Knight Rider 2008 had its moments, but even the hardest of hardcore Knight Rider Fans know when the show is a bad copy of the orignal. Even though we open our arms and show love for a remake of a classic, we secretly facepalm at the fact that this series has slowly died. Personally, i knew that the new KR was gonna be a whole new platform, but GST seriously ruined the show because he had nothing left in the tank to do this series again. Seriously, I wish they wouldve made a contest to write a KR script because I know that the diehard KR fans out there could've wrote a better quality episode than any of the current scripts! I am angry at GST more than anything because he made classics like KITT Vs KARR look like complete shit and thank god they never tried to bring back any of the other villians. WE ALL KNOW THAT THE KITT VS KARR should've been a 2 parter if not 3.

So you wanna be upset at NBC if this show does get axed? Ask GST what the fuck happened to his skills at creating a classic. Be angry about that. He spent too much time making this show some sort of Anti-terrorism show and making FLAG look like a joke, making them a part of the government?? We all know FLAG was never associated with CIA or FBI, they were their own organization! AT LEAST YOU COULDVE PUT THE SEMI BACK IN THERE AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE KR!!!! Or the mansion, not some big ass ugly airplane hangar.

I am angry at the writing quality of the new series and with such young talent they had GOD KNOWS they couldve done so much better. NBC gave them their chance. GST EPIC failed Knight Rider fans.

Seriously, I feel for this show and every fan that watches loyally. I want it to be back in my life and be another classic, but it aint going to happen with this trash being produced. I dont even know if Hoff and the old KI2T could come back and save it! The re boot came too late, the quality became better and it felt like actual KR but this shouldve happened 4 episodes in, not halfway through the season.

First of all clearly anonymous didn't watch the whole season, his anger makes little to no sense. He says the show slowly died, however it clearly got better and better as it went. The KITT vs KARR was a 2 parter it got reduced because NBC reduced the number of episodes. And to say even die hard fans no when a show has died shows he's not even a mediocre fan since 99% of the feedback on every board out there is positive.

Anyways, ignoring people with no taste in quality entertainment, I felt this episode was good, but would have been better left in it's original order. There were a lot of continuity issues, which luckily weren't too distracting since we all knew it was an issue of the order being switched, but I did find it a bit distracting that they are trying to access government databases when they used them in previous episodes.

This episode wasn't as good as the last few but I still thought it was excellent. I was laughing quite a bit, throughout without losing interest in the action. My favourite part is when KITT asks if they should get something for the lady in the trunk and Mike replies No...She's not hungry. Lmao. That and when KITT starts questioning the guy on where Mike is.

All in all it's been a great ride and I really hope there is a season 2, when will we find out?

And when is the season one box set being released? I'm already going into withdrawal.

First off I want to THANK NBC, the cast and crew, Ford, and everyone one inbetween for giving Knight Rider a chance at a season. 17 episodes is a decent run for a show and I think the show grew drasticly in those 17 episodes. Thank you for listening to the fans, thank you for taking care of KITT. I honestly was surprised that we got what we got since many "professional" reviewers panned it - usually right after they said they didn't like the original! For once the fans were listened to. I hope NBC et al continue to do so - we really do want a second season!

The most important part is that (although it took time which arguably it should) you GOT it. You got the KITT/Michael dynamic. You got that the show can't take itself to seriously -after all it's about a "smart ass automobile".

I absolutely hope that the rainbow to the pot of gold will be from the rainbow peacock at corner of the screen in the first ep of season two. The show I think despite the cut in number of episodes did what few first season shows can - adjust tweak and tune the show to the point where each episode seems like an improvement on the last.

Besides my hope for a second season is that Daddy Graiman isn't really dead. I think he was a great character much like the original show's Devon. I understand that the show is aiming at a young/cool/hip audience but I think Dr.Graiman is a needed voice in the KR team.

It seemed to me that Dr.Graiman understood KITT, for obvious reasons, the way no one else can and had the best scenes with him or about him. I think his death was ambiguous enough that him not really being dead could easily be written in. The last scene with him and the pilot read to me as a betrayal by the pilot not a "there's no hope of us landing" but maybe it's my wishful thinking. :)

All in all, Knight Rider getting a second season would be wonderful, Graiman returning would be the cherry on top. Even if it were only for an ep here and there. And of course if I really wanted to get greedy: Michael Knight Senior and his KITT. Surely Mr. Daniels would be willing to come back? And I can't imagine a Pontiac Trans-am modified to look like KITT would be hard to come by... :-)

Or...even a storyline that required KI3T to look like KI2T for some reason - and I'm sure KI3T would gripe the whole time.

Once again, thank you all for a great ride, lets do this again next september! Or sooner!

tommyguard3, shooting for episode 12 aka the "KARR episode" was completed something like a month and a half before the episode cut came down and the script before that. The budget issues only apparently shortened the battle... The rest is the fault of the writer and the people in charge... IMO that episode really, really hurt the show even though it did get better.

As for this episode, it was alright, I liked the dialog and banter and several scenes, the homages were amusing though it seems as if the writers are more interested in doing that sort of thing for everything but Knight Rider. The world's slowest claw was lame as was KITT's sitting there not saying or doing anything, it would have been nice if at least there was some dialog where KITT knew Billy was coming and thus offering a bit of distraction for Billy.

Oh yeah and we didn't get those answers that GST claimed this episode would provide from that Q&A back in October... But that's not really surprising since he also said that KARR wasn't forgotten... Maybe not but it seemed like a total afterthought with how it was handled.

Anyway, I still would like there to be a second season simply because there's still plenty of potential there and it could still have the ratings turn around. It certainly doesn't hurt having a likable cast as Justin, Deanna, Paul and Smith seem like a awesome bunch from the interviews I've read and seen over the last year. This is basically Knight Rider's last chance on TV and I would hate to see it fail because of the higher ups and their stupidity. It just sucks that the first episode left such a bad impression on everyone and the eight following it, aside from one or two, did nothing to help that. What also didn't help was NBC giving the show zero promotion despite the six week lay off with the return episode airing on New Year's Eve (even though it STILL held on) or even the being bumped last week only to come back this week with more viewers than two weeks ago. Just a shame that number of viewers wasn't a couple million more, but again, that goes back at least in part, to NBC doing nothing to even try to get people to watch.

As for next week and the Hell's Kitchen rip off taking KR's place.... I hope it fails.

I should have said I liked some of the dialog, there was a lot of other stuff that was annoying but I need to watch it again...

I really enjoyed the last episode! I hope NBC gives us our second season because I am really hoping for a return of the original MK & KI2T. I liked how the episode showed all the original episodes when "reviewing the archive data". I really want a continuance on what happened to FLAG and the other charachters because GST did not give us our answers, which is why I didn't get my hopes up :(.

Let's hope for a Second Season!

NBC, I’ve watch the entire season of Knight Rider and I have to honestly say, not too bad; but far from the original magic of Knight Rider from the 80s. After your “reboot” of this season, the show came much closer to the way it used to be. Please keep trying, don’t kill the show, not yet! There is so much creative potential here, especially if you bring back David Hasselhoff and William Daniels (who is not getting any younger by the way). Please don’t miss a great opportunity to bring two different generations of Knight Rider fans all under one viewing time in 2009. If the original Michael and KITT came back… the show would be so much fun. It would be come much more than man and machine, it would be about father and son, together, making a difference and living out one man’s dream.
This crazy world needs a fun show like Knight Rider to get us through these difficult days. Don’t give up on it so soon. We don’t need another Team Knight Rider here. Please keep trying! I will continue to watch and I know many others will as well.

Please, please, please make a second season!!!!!

Greeting from Chinese fans!I became a super fan of Knight Rider since 1995! And I love the K.R.2008! I love Mike's smile, also the great new KITT! And Billy is so cute and Zoe so cool (& hot^^). There are many Chinese friends like me really hope there will be a new season coming soon! Best wishes to you all!--carmen

NBC, please give us a second season. These episodes since the reboot have been fun to watch and something I've looked forward to.

Wow, what a season. I loved watching every episode of it, including the pilot. Ilike the personal touches after the rebiit. It is cool to see KITT's AI development into a sentience that can converse with little kids and other complete strangers (like the guys who try to beat him up and the thug who gets shocked when KITT interrogates him.
I had a question about the alias Billy used in the season finale as a military guy, . . . Templeton Benedict sounds like an A-Team thriwback. Wasnt Dirk Benedict the actor who played Templeton Peck, a/k/a/ Face on the A-Team? nice Here's to a second season, PLEASE!!!!!!

please sign this petition for a Season 2

I was disappointed that KITT never said anything about the cars, or what was left of them, as he drove through the junk yard in the final episode. It would have been a fun homage to the original, since the KI2T was always commenting on broken cars and parking lots and the like, as well as just adding some more funny in an already funny episode, loved the lines from Mike when he was drunk. It wasn’t the greatest season finale as far as an ending, but pretty good considering everything that was gone through with the order change and all. It did have a feel of beginning something new. Guess I just was expecting more of a cliffhanger ending to keep everyone guessing and especially wanting and waiting for the next season to close the plotline. Here’s hoping for a second season.

SAVE KNIGHT RIDER SIGN THE PETITIONS DO EVERYTHING! RENEW OR WE BOYCOTT!

I really love what you've done with Knight Rider. It is the only show I look forward to watching every week. Please keep Knight Rider on the air!

Meh, not the greatest of finale's but tons better than most of what we had to deal with most of the season. The past 5 episodes have me convinced: I want a Season 2!!!!

KR/Knight Rider is #1 Family show, that you can count on know its a story based show, and not a reality show that someone is always being booted off by the end of each show! I watched the 80's series as a kid, with my family. And Now I watch it with my Son!!
We Need ""Knight Rider" to watch. Its the Only show We can count on For the Whole Family to Watch!!
Long Live KR Knight Rider and F.L.A.G.!!!

Howdy, people on NBC!
I have to congratulate you all on the new series of the Knight Rider! I have to say I was a little... well... a lot skeptical about this sequel, starting on the new KITT.
For someone who grew up with KITT and David Hasselhoff's Michael Knight fighting crime, seeing a Shelby GT500 KR (as beautiful of a machine it is) taking the place of the original Pontiac Trans Am was a little rough.
But after some episodes we kind of get used to the idea that this is not a "re-make", it's a completely new series that happens to continue the story of the original one that will always be on our hearts...

I do have to say you exaggerated quite a bit on some features that, in my opinion, got a bit ridiculous. I'm talking, for example, on the 4x4 transformation. Seeing KITT transforming into a Ford F150 in order to ride in a bumpy road was a bit disappointing.
I'd be happier with you just keeping the 2 modes: Normal and Attack Mode.
This makes us think the old Trans Am KITT was far cooler and more rough than the new KITT, and you shouldn't want that...

The new hero is okay, and I have to put my 2 thumbs up for Sarah (beautiful) and Billy & Zoe, the computer team. They add a lot of fun and interest to the show.

In a general view, the new KR is a proven success. Still prefer the original from the 80s, but I'm loving the new one!
Keep going, and I hope the show goes on for a while! At least for some seasons... I'm getting addicted! xP

By the way, I saw an opinion here with which I totally agree:
Why not bringing back David Hasselhoff (that only had a little presence in the pilot) and the original KITT (which I - and, I'm sure, anyone that used to watch the original series - absolutely love!)?!
I'm not telling you to add them to the series as a permanent presence... But for one or 2 episodes. Like, an encounter of generations.
I don't know. Think of a mission they'd need extra help or something. The old KITT comes in with Michael to help... It'd be fun to see the two KITTs interacting. Like the old and experienced veteran meeting the high tech youngster.
And this works for the "father-son" interaction too.

Maybe it'd be like a way to make a tribute to the original KITT and Knight Rider. Any original fan would love it and, I bet, all the younger generations that only know this new KR would be glad to have a glimpse of the KITT and M.Knight that first fought crime!

Stay cool!... And keep up the good work!
Peace ;p

I LOVED KNIGHT RIDER!! IT ACTUALLY GAVE MY DAUGHTER AND I SOMETHING TO WATCH TOGETHER!! I LOVED THE ORIGANAL AND i THOUGHT NBC DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH THE NEW ONE!! I TRUELLY HOPE THERE WILL BE A SECOND SEASON....MY DAUGHTER DOES TOO (LOL)

NBC...I don't know if you realize it, but the "reboot" of Knight Rider was a great success! DO NOT CANCEL the show! Time to solidify the reboot with a 'Season Premier Reboot' come Fall 2009...possibly another movie (2 hour episode) done the right way!

Up until the reboot took place, I was entertained but not enthusiastic about how the show was going. What bothered me is that everything felt too busy. It was just too much of the wrong stuff being crammed down our throats. Too many things hindered the audience from being "drawn into" the story and characters. For example:

- The CGI was fake looking (ie car driving background) which made the whole show look and feel unrealistic AND it looked like NBC was not taking it serious from the beginning. If NBC does not show confidence and investment into the show through heavy advertising, good CGI, etc, then how does it then expect it to succeed with the public?! Treat every show like your best show, and people will follow if families can get into it! CGI has gotten a little better after the reboot, but real life "live" backgrounds need to be used while people are being filmed in KITT. It makes everything feel more real...thus more believable. Oh, and keep the wild transformations down to a minimum. Knight Rider is not Transformers and I for sure don't want the "Team Knight Rider" dynamic either!
- The scripts were OK or subpar by trying to use tools like sex and action to hook people...too obvious...if not forced. Keep it balanced and family-time oriented.
- There were too many characters. Thank you for cutting Carrie & Torres and dumping the whole FBI and 'busy' SSC environment. With Carrie's character, she was not needed and you ruined her in the TV movie with the whole lesbian thing anyway...I'm sure that turned off a whole lot of people and families. Torres nobody liked...I think everybody knew he was a sleezeball and I for one didn't want people you could not trust on the team. I think everybody is tired with the whole "secret government program" type thing...saving the world, backstabbing, etc. Knight Rider is not nor ever will be Alias, 007, Mission Impossible, etc. The FBI involvement just killed the whole dynamics of what made the Orginal Knight Rider series great: "One Man Can Make A Difference!" It was a small group of civilians who cared and wanted to make a difference where government cannot/will not go.

So, I have to say, the writers of the last few episodes setup Knight Rider to have a successful 2nd season if you're wise enough to see the opportunity they gave you:

- You've reestablished the personal feel of Knight Rider...a man and his car learning from each other while they help others they come in contact with; a small and trustworthy team behind them; side humor & wit; etc. Good! Continue that!!!
- We know Sarah is stressed and overwhelmed with the tasks of resurrecting FLAG and managing a team of peers. She's capable yet young...needs help, experience, and the counsel/wisdom of somebody with many years of trials/tribulations under their belt...somebody who has been there and done that! The solution is not bringing her father Charles back from the dead to help. While Charles Graiman was one loss I initially questioned, that too was the right decision. Devon is dead...and so should be any character trying to look/play the part. The memory and absence of both Devon (leadership/management) and Charles (inventor/creator/scientist) actually brings about more script possibilities as they both had hands in FLAG's KITT project...both KITT's and KARR's of both generations! You could tie both 2000/3000 series KITT's together somehow. Plus, we don't know that Charles is truly dead anyway. For all we know, that little red light in the cargo plane meant it was time to stage their deaths! Charles was already one step ahead in the game and knew what Torres was up to. There is lots of potential there if you wanted to go down that road. I wouldn't bring Charles back from the dead anytime soon though...give it a few seasons. You could hint at him being alive while helping Sarah and the team every once in a while through mysterious deeds and interventions when they get in a jam. This could also propel a storyline of Sarah not believing he is dead...thus a private search ensues as a sub-plot on her side. Mike could also find out he's alive at some point but be told to keep it a secret from Sarah for whatever reason Charles gives (i.e. life endangerment, etc). That could also lead to a conflict between Mike and Sarah. Everything would be resolved and revealed in the end of the series though.
- In the 2008 movie, Michael Knight (the Hoff) inferred that Mike might see him again. It is NOW time to bring David Hasselhoff back to head up FLAG! This is how the two-hour movie episode starts off Season 2. This is how NBC can refresh the series by heavily marketing the Hoff now being a regular on the series. He would play an older and wiser part these days...a father, mentor, and leader...but with some of his old ways and habits. He lost Devon...the mantel has been passed to him. Devon would have wanted it that way, and Charles, I believe, knew that and wants it that way too (dead or alive). As one of his last requests, a message was given to the Hoff (like the holographic messages Mike & Sarah received) to return and help Sarah & Mike reestablish FLAG. Charles knew she would need the help, and he also knew Mike needed to get to know his father and heal any wounds there. Oh man...soooo many story possibilities there with just that one dynamic of father/son 'dealing' with and eventually gaining respect and love for each other.
- Bring back KITT (2000 Series)...in the black T-Bird! We all know KITT was dismantled, put in an old Chevy, and then later in the new red T-Bird, BUT, we also saw old KITT parts in Charles Graiman's garage in the 2008 movie. We don't know what happened to KITT 2000 since the year 2000, so he could have been decommissioned at some point later when they started on KARR/KITT 3000. Behind the scenes, Charles could have put the old KITT body back together w/ upgrades before his apparent death, and that could have been the very thing that helped Michael Knight Sr. (the Hoff) decide to come back and help head up FLAG...through the proddings and quips of his former partner! If the Hoff has KITT 2000 and Mike has KITT 3000, there could also be a very interesting dynamic between both KITT's...teamwork, competitiveness, etc...mine is bigger and better than yours type thing. KITT 2000 would have the better insults while KITT 3000 shows off and teases the "old beater". The Hoff & KITT 2000 could come save Mike & KITT 3000 when they get into trouble.
- Try to bring back Bonnie for an episode or two...smarter and wiser. You could have a conflict between the smart "young-ones" and her...who Zoe will call the "has been" at first in her typical flippant attitude. They'll all respect each other in the end through the process of events unfolding, but you could have some fun with that dynamic. Also, you could finally kindle a relationship between the Hoff and Bonnie! ;c) That's a long time coming!
- The Zoe and William dynamic is perfect...don't change that a bit. Keep the 'interest' there on Williams part and let Zoe tease the heck out of him...BUT...over time and seasons, make moments where we realize that Zoe has developed hints of interest for him without him knowing it...while he's not around or looking. The series finale, after several years, could end with them finally becoming a couple. Do the same with Mike and Sarah. On both fronts, these are good mini sub-plots.
- Bring back the Semi-Truck...some mobile Headquarters as an idea of the Hoff when he first returns. It keeps the team small, mobile, and flexible instead of always having to drive back to the SSC hanger…which doesn’t help if they’re doing something back East. Get them completely out of the SSC! I never liked the dynamic of that place fully occupied...it looks and feels much better in shambles.

NBC, Knight Rider may have had lower ratings than you may have initially liked, but that was really your fault...not the show’s concept or premise. Bad marketing, producing, and script writing killed whatever momentum you had...and killed the series and a potential audience that might have stayed for the long haul. The reboot completely turned the dynamics of the show around, but now NBC needs to officially reboot the series through a new Season 2 2-hour Movie Premier marketing the Hoff, KITT 2000/3000, and relationships within realistic storylines (like you’ve done in the last few episodes). I'm not saying my ideas here are the best, but at least, I feel, they are in the right direction to bring NBC success! DO NOT CANCEL the show...there is enough crap and non family friendly shows on your network and others! Really, there is no other show that brings me to NBC than Knight Rider.

PS: While you're at it, you might want to consider bringing back Airwolf!!! ;c) No cheap CGI and models! Good actors! Recreate Airwolf out of a real and newer Bell 430...a stretched and more powerful version of the Bell 230 which was based on the earlier Bell 222...the original Airwolf airframe before modified. I loved the series before you killed off the whole cast for another bad reboot! If you do, please no Transformations…no talking Jet Helicopters either! ;c)

Pelase, Please PLEASE don't cancel this show. It is much better than many of the other crappy show there are. It is the only show I watch devotedley. PLEASE!!!

I really hope they get a second season. I like the show.

We can't wait for the next season, but we would like for you to limit the cussing. The original was a big success with very little foul language. Our small children would like to watch KR with their parents!! So NO CUSSING please!

I was really hoping that this was going to be a good series.
While it does have a lot of good potential and interesting characters, plots, etc, the one failure is the very thing that PISSES me off about any show that happened in just about every episode of the new Knight Rider series. STUPIDITY. I mean, c’mon – let’s be consistent, realistic and stop taking soap opera shortcuts or pooping out unrealistic actions to move the story along.

For example, I got so mad when in ‘I Love the Knight Life’, the writer has KITT detect the soldiers closing in on Michael in the lab but fails to be able to determine what room they were last in before they ESCAPED into a biohazard tunnel, or when the bad guy was making the drop with the Koreans to exchange the serum for the money. As if Michael or KITT couldn’t have used KITT’s laser to target and destroy the briefcase containing the serum or later on, when making the hostage exchange where the girl was holding the gun on the hostage, yet again, neither Michael or KITT seem to be able to consider using the laser to make the gun too hot to handle as KITT has done in previous episodes. What’s with KITT suddenly being unable to determine that the overhead crane was being maneuvered to crush him and take evasive action? He certainly could ‘see’ and take such independent action in other episodes. KR writers and other viewers, please tell me you understand that this is not appropriate to allow if you want a well written story to watch.

It’s crap writing like this that makes me so mad that I’m actually glad the show won’t be continued. I wanted the show to succeed but I don’t appreciate bad writing or scripts.
It’s one thing to have a story to tell and make it enjoyable but it’s not okay to allow KITT or the others to be smart and have skills that are then discarded or ignored during the same episode and even the series. STOP BEING STUPID – if you ever get a chance to write for another series, stay consistent, ensure the actions taken are true to their capabilities and once used, are always used in future situations and not ignored in others unless the skill or ability is impaired or taken away IN A REALISTIC MANNER and not superficially contrived to push the plot along and then restored either just in time to save the day. BAHHH, a good, well written show will often survive but inconsistent crappy plot transitions reveal hack writers that will end a series.

You probably don’t remember shows like Hill Street Blues or Babylon 5 and so many others that typically had the majority of their shows well written and consistent without the hokey pokey half-ass let-downs of unrealistic and not well thought out script activity.
You can say you only have so much time to write a script but the difference is that instead of writing something that stinks like the old ‘A-Team’ scripts and is lucky to even get a whole season in the can, you can review it and tweak it to be realistic and compelling, which would keep me and others from saying ‘oh my god, what a bunch of crap’. Not that the whole show, script, etc, is bad but it’s the outright, inconsistent and dumb stuff that ruins an episode and if repeated in each script, then ‘viola’, the end of the show – witness no more Knight Rider.

Sure, I know others say they like the show but a lot of people are used to crap and don’t realize the difference. For those that do, and for writers that understand such, the result is that when they develop a well written series, it garners everyone as loyal, supportive viewers and not just the dumbed-down masses.

My family really enjoys watching Knight Rider, we still watch the originals with the "Hoff". Please bring KIT back for another season!

I love the show very much.Looking forward to second season.there will be a second season, won't there? I'm a huge fan from china.

This show is rubbish.

It would be awesome if in a future seasion there was an episode where kitt and mike run into a rough "defender of the good" that was driving something like a honda CRX that was tricked out with some tech that almost rivals KITT...but ofcourse not quite as teched up as Kitt but close...just a thought..
dslfjkvndfkljdfdsdjfnsdsdfsdfdgsdfgdsg

oh yea my ides would sooooo get the F&F crowd to watching the show......big plus on the ratings!!!!

I am a Taiwanese. Knight Rider is so popular all over the world. I think mabye Knight Rider 2008 in not perfect, but it is good enough to continue my dream, a KITT dream. Please give me sencond season or my wife will be so angry to kill me because I don't get KITT back for her. She is bigger fan of KITT than me. So please help me...

NBC,

Please give Knight Rider a second season in the direction it is going in.

I say if you need to cut back on cost. cut back on the pricey special effects and hire some good writers.

and have kitt and mike driving for real. the green screened background for interior driving closeups looks like crap.

even in the 80s they used a live background. come on

all knight rider fans want is more relation and mention to the original series

and less crappy scripts, better story less crappy special effects id rather see less special effects if they are going to look like they have.

that first turbo boost wanted me to puke. and having kr underneath was dispicable. at first i thought it was referring to ford mustang shelby kr

but you guys cleverly called it knight research hmmm

knight rider can be made for so much less money. scrap the crummy effects and get better stories

and please pay up the money to get the hoff in some more cameos

he loves knight rider and he's been trying to get back. so i dont think it will cost much to get him back

and for the love of god destroy the val kilmer kitt computer.

install the original kitt. get william daniels back or find someone who sounds like him or get a voice synthesier to have soemone speak in a mic and dainels voice comes out

pay him some royalties and be done with it

this whole thing with a new kitt with new brain and lame personality is stupid

upgrade the car fine upgrade kitts programs fine

but dont invent a brand new kitt

it would be nice to have kitt talk to mike about the old days when his father drove.

and get the team out of that crummy old air hanger, bring it back to the mansion
no more need for so much secrecy anymore. tehy are niot with the fbi or army anymore

and more fights with karr. more references to the old show.

and less crummy acting and more relaistic hott girls even average girls is ok

not impossible but hard to believe a 25 yr old blazing hottie is in charge of an entire fbi or swat team

basically nbc...

more references to the old show, cameos of the hoff, and the old kitt computer in the mustang.

and change the interior of kitt. its aweful. that snow globe is slap to the old kitt

you are tryin way too hard to make it cool.

less is more when knight rider is concerned

and the super attack mode is so wrong. kitt can drive fast period nothing you bolt on the body is goign to help. the aero dynamics is fine as is

and let make this clear. (THIS IS NOT TRANSFORMERS!!!!!) cool for transformers love it, but doesnt belong on knight rider

and if you're goign to have so muc crap on kitt in attack mode or whatever mode you call it these days. at least give it some meaning

this is also not fast n furious.

quit stealing cool ideas that has already been done.

thanks nbc i hope you read this and take it under consideration

one more thing...

why the hell are you re-inventing kitt and karr

if this is a conituation leave the original characters in it.

would of been so much better if karr came back from knight industries storage. the comnputer salvaged from when kitt destroyed car in the 80s.

stop tryin to copy the old show and continue it. sequels not remakes

Hello!!! I'm from Brazil, the serires just started here but we are already addicted!!! We are here hoping for a new swason already!!
NBS we count on you to have something really good, as Knight Rider is, to watch!

Brazilian huges and hopes!

Hm. I just watched E09. Man, did you guys use a dice to decide what scene comes after the next? Or what storylines get mixed into one episode? ;-)

So I'm really interested in that reboot. I mean, the concept is good, it was good in the 80's, it is good now. At least that is how I'm looking at it right now (after E09)... I feel the need to give two pointers.

Please have someone help you guys figure out what "realistic cool tech" is... A talking black mustang is cool tech, a pimped up car with blue neon underneath is not. And KITT does not need to have big body changes, that is unbelievable. Some cloaking, like blending in the background, would be ok (and much more thrilling).

And secondly; we need characters we can relate to. ATM the best are Billy and Zoe. They have chemistry. So stop forcing in all the different story arcs.

Keep it simple: cool tech, nice people, fun and entertaining story line. We don't want more.

Reboot was like E11?

Please give us a second season! I felt the show returning to its roots and being about helping the small guy was great. I'd also like to see the whole thing with Mike's memory being fully restored. For those of you that want to be negative about the show, I just don't see what you are talking about. I thought this show was much cooler, much more fun to watch than the original. I loved it! It had more character, better acting, cooler special effects. It was AWESOME! Do you hear me NBC?! This show was by far the best show you have produced since Heroes!!!! You HAVE to give it another chance!

@Jane I like the series as well, but they make too many relative minor mistakes that are not nessecarry.

Take E11 I just watched: a C130 plane cannot reach 51000-odd foot; its max is at 33000. Propellor driven planes with that configuration can't get much higher. Further more: if that altitude was so important to get exactly right, and they even had to wait inside KITT for it to be reached, what do you think happened to the bomb after the was thrown out of the plane?... It falls to the ground at a pretty high speed (as you see happen to the plane moments later). So that bomb is at a serious lower altitude 0.5 seconds later.

If you make a hi-tech series with hi-tech plots, and Knight Rider is that (up until E11?), then you need someone to keep stuff believable. They are writing in so many thriller arcs (bomb, dying collegue's, damaged planes) that these are missing the point. Overkill.

i hope that NBC keeps you on i love the show i loved the first Knight Rider i cant wait until season two

When can we see a new season?? I didn't see it on the NBC line up this year. Please, please, BRING IT BACK!

Bring Bakc Knight Rider NBC is stupid Knight Rider had at least 5 million viewers each knight it aired. If they gave knight rider a second season it would really pick up. Ford needs to get on the ball if they want to sell more cars. They don't understand that KITT can be any model they want to push to sell.
Although I am glad that they ley let Chuck live another season. Love that show. I also love knight Rider. I wish I could contact ford and NBC personally to tell them that ONE MAN CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!

I think you have made a great work with the new Knight Rider. Is a fantastic serie. And Justin is the best actor you could choose. He is so lovely and amusing. Please continue with Knight Rider.

Hey, I'm from Brazil and I'm a huge fan of the show. Ijust want to say that Knight Rider and Chuck are the best series ever. Little detail: Knight Rider was canceled and Chuck was almost canceled.Fans from all over the world are disappointed. So, please NBC, don't keep your word and bring Knight Rider back, at least for a dignit final, and we, fans, don't if it's not at the fall season, we just want it back.
So, now, I gonna do something that we did with Chuck: SAVE KNIGHT RIDER!!
That's all I ask.
Thank you for your time,
Laura

Correcting...
I just want to say that...
at least for a worthy final...
fans, don't care if...
Sorry about it... =D
