Help!

I'm stuck in a closet full of fake armor. The kind you would start off an RPG with and immediately sell after a better one drops. If anyone lives in Las Vegas, please let them know that I'm stuck in a closet at the basement of the Montecito and need help quickly.

How did I get here? Well, we found a crying princess and who said she was in trouble. I wanted to help her but I knew we had to focus on our mission.

We've been off track way too long but Ando-kun wanted to hear her story.

She explained she had a fight with her boyfriend. Uh-oh. Even with my limited relationship experience, I know better than to interfere with other people's relationship problems. You would lose points in ときメモ.

I trusted him and now I am stuck in a closet and Ando-kun is in danger.

Ando-kun is a good friend but we just disagree on some things. The biggest disagreement is on women. I believe in true love. A true hero should only be in love with one woman at a time. He should be loyal to her and protect her at all times. Ando-kun seems to believe in that there are many fishes in the sea and believes that quantity is better than quality. Love is important and fighting for love is what a hero does. In this case it was a crush and not true love. I'm concerned for Ando-kun. He's a loyal friend but every time I follow his lead, we seem to get into trouble and further away from the mission. Does he even care about the mission or is he more interested in the glory of being a hero? Maybe it's just Las Vegas that brings out the worst in him. I'm just worried something bad will happen to him or he'll get tempted to the dark side. Worse is if he becomes my Uncle Ben. I don't know what to do.

I really hope Ando-kun is ok, but first I need to get out of here so I can save him.

I went into the future and saw what's going to happen next.

Hiro is going to meet Nathan again and be helped to find the sword where Ando shows up as a security guard. Nathan is going to try to take Linderman's life but instead he takes his offer after Linderman shows he knows all about special people like him.

Peter is going to go looking for Mohinder but find him captured by Cyler then have to face him.

Hiro, you will FAIL! You won't be able to stop the bomb, just as you failed to save Charlie. You are worthless, you will never regain your powers. New York will be incinerated, Sylar will consume all of the powers, and the world order shall fall.

Ah~ That's so unlucky Hiro! One step forward, and two steps back, is how it goes often. (v_v)

I think you're right, maybe Ando doesn't really understand your mission. Probably his wisdom score is too low. So maybe the best thing to do is to switch him out of your party. I think it's the best way to keep both you and him out of trouble.

You'll be a party of one for a while longer, but I'm sure you'll find new party members along the way. And then they can help you get your sword, and your powers will be back! Hey, talking about your powers... it could be that you are just suffering Level Drain or Ability Drain status somehow. That means you would only have to find a cure and you might not need the sword after all.

But then of course, having a Katana would definitely give you Charisma +4! \(^o^)/

Keep focus on your mission, but don't forget to look up and around you every once in a while - you never know where you'll find things that can help you! (Or people!) It'll all work out in the end, I know it. And trust me, I'm always right when I say that. It's my super power. (^_~)\\//

Actually Norman the gameboy (the handheld videogame Hiro has) was released in the U.S. in 1989, and was released in Japan earlier than that. Likewise personal computers were being sold as early as 1970, with more "modern" Apple and IBM pcs arriving at the end of the decade and gaining popularity through the 80s. Assuming Heroes is set in the present Hiro would easily be over 20.

In his gallery, he has the EXACT same tapestry of Takezo Kensai that you saw in the museum - but the panels are displayed in a different order! I don't speak Japanese, but I can tell that switching the panels changes the meaning of the words. Maybe there's a secret message about Takezo!

So whenever you get your butt into that gallery (I KNOW you can do it!) keep an eye out for the tapestry. Good luck - and keep in touch! We miss you.

Oh, and an Alarm going off in a New York city museum while you were visiting. Camera footage shows you just turning into a blur and disappearing when an Alarm was trigged. It seems to me that Ando is left out of the loop of being a hero and wants to be under the spotlight for a change. Kinda like in an RPG when you have this specific character that isn't as great as the others; you begin to use that character less and less... until you forget that person is even on your team.

This reminds me a lot of FFVII! Where there are a couple of optional characters that can join your group! And when it comes to the end, you find that every single character is helpful in some shape or form to get you where you need to be! =D

No more parties for you for a while eh? You will need to solo this. Sometimes party members can be a pain, and do the wrong then, then your whole group wipes. Ando may be a good friend, but this may be the time that he may not be best for the mission.

Keep your energy up until you hear someone near the door, then call out. But please be careful, as you don't know who might be on the other hand.

Hey, what do you mean, get your sword 'back'? You - that is, this you - the you that just wrote the blog - not you from the future - has never actually had the Sword before. Ah, forget it, English isn't suited to talking about time-travel.

But while we're on the subject, don't worry so much about that Sword. Your power isn't gone, you're just having trouble accessing it - like Cyclops in the current arc of Astonishing X-Men. It could be that you're just low on MP from so much exertion - all those timefreezes, travel back six months' time, doing some more timefreezes there, teleportation all the way to Japan, the whole deal. Or maybe it's because you've been winging it, and you just need a Professor X of some sort to teach you how to control your power. Or maybe the time-space continuum is sick of getting bent out of shape, and has decided not to stand for it anymore. I wouldn't know, I'm not a Chronokinesis expert. But you should try to find someone to teach you how to use your power in any case, in case you're wrong about the Sword, or you lose the Sword after you get it, or something.

Perhaps your power is more of a Final Fantasy's Limit Break or a Quickening.

You know how it goes. You have to build up your tension meter until its full and then you can do your Limit Break, but once you do it goes back to nothing and you build it back up again.

Going forward to when New York exploded could have been the Limit Break and then you depleted your meter and built it back up again. When it was full again you went back 6 months and depleted it.

Though for the Quickening standpoint you can still use great power but there are three levels to it. Third level Quickening is really really strong but you need alot of MP for it. To get MP perhaps you need to do what Vaan does and walk/get hit/ fight/ defeat a foe/ or find a thing that will replenish you. Like a save crystal of sorts?

Now it might have to take up time again or tension or MP (like for a Quickening) to do something major with your power.

Um, Bushido is actually the "Way of the Horse and Bow" not the "Way of the Sword". Kenshido is the Way of the Sword. You'd think the researchers for this show would know that...

Check out Mage: the Ascension. It's a tabletop style RPG, and I know you're more familiar with the electronic ones, but it's view on the nature of reality might be a good frame of reference for your powers.

Perhaps the sword is (or will be) a focus for you, but ultimately the power is your own, and eventually you will no longer need it. Foci are basically confidence-crutches, but for a while they do help to get the doubting part of your mind to sit down and shut up while the magical part gets to work.

Your powers aren't gone. You can obviously still pull a laptop with internet connection out of thin air. So you should at least be able to get through a locked door.

All jokes aside, you should be concentrating on getting your power back, even if you don't have the sword. You have to remember that material objects don't matter. You should be concentrating on getting your powers back instead of spending all your time thinking about the sword, and maybe the sword will fall into your hands.

Sometimes a person living in the shadow of a true Hero can bring the Hero down. The glory he must feel because of you being special. You're stuck in a closet? How alarming. Though I know your abilities aren't as good lately, trying can't hurt. Not to travel in time, but space. Have you tried to move in space alone? Perhaps it is easier than time, and you will be able to manage.

As to your problems with Ando...I don't know what to say. I personally don't think that heroes will all be the same. While your own idea of love and being a hero is very chivalrous, I think the fact that your friend wanted to help the woman in trouble is admirable enough - even though I can't speak for his motives. If she needed help, she needed help, and she should get it even if she is not his one true love. You know? It is a bit hasty to think that he is going to the 'dark side' simply because you do not agree on things.

But, back to your problem with the closet....if you can't teleport out, maybe you should try to find the phone number of the hotel online? It should not be too hard. Or dial '411' for 'information' and then ask for the number of the hotel. Then you can tell the receptionist you are stuck in the closet. I think that would work.
