Like a hand guiding a stream of water, you can make it ripple differently even guide it slightly. But if you try to change too much, you disrupt laminar flow and the water then breaks and runs around the guiding hand, thus ignoring the effects of your abilities.

Perhaps the river can only be rippled by your hand.

Hiro, I thought I would explain something that I know about the space time continuum. First of all, you exist outside of time, so don't worry about yourself getting caught up in a paradox. You can always go back and change it. The problem is actually stated in quantum physics. For every choice that is made an infinite number of possible outcomes can and do occur in alternate realities. For an example of this, watch Stargate SG1 season 3 episode: Point of View. So, take heart, in at least one reality, your Marle is alive and well.

Sylar took Charlie's powers, but he also took something else -- her brain tumor.

A possible you from the future -- a future where Sylar did not take Charlie's brain tumor and is unstoppable -- visited Charlie after you left her. He explained why she needed to allow herself to be killed by Sylar.

You will need to make that same journey after Sylar is defeated, Hiro. If you do not, Charlie will go to visit past you in Japan instead of dying that day in the diner. This will cause a time rift.

It was (and is) critical that Sylar not take the cheerleader's healing abilities. That would cure the tumor in his head and make him unstoppable.

Destiny can be cruel and maybe it was that Charlie was fated to die on that day anyway. Be thankful that in some small way, you have managed to change her life. You managed to spend some time with her, which is a wonderful thing, I think.

I mean, Kiki totally lost her powers for a while there because she was so depressed about life and lonliness. Perhaps all you need is a break from using your powers until you're ready to reach into your heart and start again. I mean, Charlie only just died and I'm sure you're heart broken. I cannot recall if someone said this already but it's impossable to change the past. If she didn't die then you would have no reason to go back and save her. To make it short: time paradox.

Failure in only part of the learning process, it is logical to say if you first don't suceed, try, try agian...
Be glad for the time you had and remember you did save her in a sence by being a true friend abd be joyfull of your gifts and what you have...

But you have saved people in other episodes...who would have died without your intervention... seems like a contradiction to me.

One flaw in your theory Solisa. You forgot ando. Ando was still tellin peter she was killed by Sylar. And he said that after Hiro had gone back, and after Charlie died. He remembered the killing in detail by sylar's hand. So if she didn't die by Sylar, why is ando still remembering she did? if she died by the disease ando should not have said that. He should of said something like "she collapased, it look liked a heart attack". but instead he said "the killer was here, next minute was gone like hokagi. hiro said same man he is going to kill the cheerleader". Also, if she did die by the disease, i doubt it she would of died on the same day sylar was meant to kill her.

Please everyone! Recheck the episode ''six months ago''. Isn't it clear to you all that Hiro saved Charlie? Isn''t that what Charlie told Hiro before they wanted to kiss? i don't think hiro's powers are fading, or have faded. he's just used it all up, and now he has to wait for it to power up again. it kinda works like the power-bar for jin kazama. when jin's in devil-jin mode, he only has a certain amount of time to use his special power. but when he's used it all up, he returns back to his original form, and his power-bar has to regenerate up again. in hiro's case it might be similiar. and i do believe he can still save charlie, he just didn't have enough time to save her, and that was only because his powers weren't strong enough. in time, when he learns to develope his power, he'll be more stronger have more control over his power, giving him a longer power-bar. probably in season 2 that might happen.

I’m not even sure where I should have posted this or if I even should do it. However after reading almost all of this blog I decided that this might be the best and only place I could even attempt to post this.

I think before I tell you what happened to me I should give you all some background. I am your average otaku. I love games and anime to no end and I’ve even been a dealer at a couple of anime conventions locally. I am fortunate enough to be married and I have a very beautiful and loving wife who somehow does not mind my tendencies to stay up late trying to finish just one more level or one more episode before going to bed. I work as a network admin but for a company but I don’t get paid as well as I should be. In fact I am pretty underpaid in my field and especially for the amount of work I do. Also my wife has had a few health issues and has to take some time away form work. We were just getting by on both of our paychecks but when she started to take time away from work it started to really take its toll on us financially. So I took a second job at a game store. Sure it’s not the highest paying job but they work around my main job’s schedule and I get to check games out from the store. Sort of like my own personal Game/Anime library. So I was content with that and bring in enough income to support me and my wife.

I had something happen to me last night. It’s not something that I am particular proud of either. At the Game store everyone looks up to me as sort of a big brother. Makes sense because I am the oldest one working there (31 Ai-ya I’m old). I’m also a very strong guy as well. Whenever there is something extra heavy to be moved around I’m the one to do it. I tend to be able to do it with ease. So whenever there is a problem they all look to me as a leader/moral support. And I’m not even a manager there I’m a part timer. Well last night I am straightening up the PSP games when some one taps me on the shoulder. Then I hear a man’s voice say “to the back” I look over my shoulder when I see a man standing there. He is dressed in olive colored overalls and has some type of Nylon “Doo-Rag” pulled over his face so you can’t see what he looks like. He also has a small hand gun in his hand. So I go toward the back of the store just like he ordered.

He then tells the manager to open the registers and open the safe. The manager is trying to keep her composure but she is visibly shaken and she is pregnant as well. He then orders the other girl behind the counter to help her put the money and games in his bag. The whole time I am standing there in the back of the store thinking “I should do something anything! Bum rush the guy tackle him something” but I stood there paralyzed. The guy wasn’t even holding his gun in a fire position he just had it in his hand. He then flees the scene I take off running out the door after him and he saw me and another guy chasing him he jumped into his get away car and sped off almost causing an accident in the process. I managed to at least see what type of car it was and get a license number.

After it was all over and I talked to the police I just stood there thinking to myself. “what good is this strength I have if I can’t even use it when needed”. “What good is all the Kung Fu I take when I can’t even bring myself to move in to use any of it” “What good am I as a man when I let two women one being pregnant stand there and have to take that kind of abuse” “Would I be just as useless if it was my wife in danger” “Do I even deserve any of this” “What is wrong with me?”

I used to go by a Screen name “Dragonsama” meaning “lord of the dragons” I always meant in the sense of Kung-Fu because one of my heroes growing up was “The Dragon” Bruce Lee. But I don’t even deserve that name. I’m no dragon or god. I’m more like a lowly lizard. Too scared to move when confronted by anything.

I must be a failure of some type.

I am sorry, but I will not be watching when "Heroes" returns. I cannot continue watching ANY network that would be so irresponsible as to do what NBC did to "The year without a santa claus". In effect, they destroyed a classic with such things as scantily clad women, Yuppification, and downright stupidity - all for a quick buck. This in a classic children's movie. And as if showing it once wasn't bad enough, they plan to rebroadcast it Christmas eve??? Do they not know that torture of prohibited by the Geneva Convention? This calls for a boycott - HONOR MUST BE UPHELD! I cannot sit by and allow them to further corrupt and "dumb down" society.

Hiro, if you believe you can change the future that you been to, you have to belive you can change the past. Because if you can teleport from the future to present(the past of furture) to tell peter to change the future, then you can go back to tell someone in the past to change the future of the past(present).

I can see the Gwen Stacy paralel. Love lost. If it makes you feel better, you will most likely find a love, the real peter parker did not actuly wind up with Marry Jane, unless they have changed that in the last decade, late time I read the comix the 'peter parker' who married MJ was the clone, the real peter was going by the name of Ben Reily/Scarlet Spider. altho I think he might have had a love intrest, in the places he was living at the time. He gave up his right to love MJ because he thought he was the clone.

P.S. in ep 11 DL is 'breaking' into a house after he was shot, he unlocked it with his left hand, opened the rdoor with his right (the on that had been shot) and then when they rotate the camera to show from the inside it shows him opening it with his left.

you should also work on other aspects of you powers, like slowing time for super speed, should be easier then stopping time so maybe you can maintain it longer. if you can teleport your clothing then you 'should' be able to port anything you are holding/touching.

I guess Clare needs a helmet of some kind (as part of her 'costume'), her brain is the only part of her that can't regenerate, as evident in thee time she was impailed in the brain, when the corornor removed the stick she came back, and the fact that they had to save her from sylar, otherwise she wouldn't have needed saving. too bad her power isnt in her dna insted of her brain, like wolvie.

I am very proud of you that you are not discouraged by one loss. Many would have given up at the point of the journey you have just completed. You have learned to take a loss and use it to make yourself stronger not only as a person, but as a true hero.
And do not worry to much about your abilities. Just having super powers does not make you a hero. Look at Seargent Rock for example. he had no powers nor any speical gadgets. he just had himself and his friends, yet they all came out to be great heroes. they all had the will of a hero. The question now is:will you have that same willpower to be a hero, when the time calls for it?

I doubt the T-rex was a survivor of the explosion hoss. They've been extinct for millions of years. Probably more like right as the explosion happens he teleports back in time and gets stuck in the past, probably ancient japan first, hence learning to use the sword. Then followed by another time travel mistake to the age of the dino's.

We must understand that in the space-time continuam the world was already lost. Hiro came back in time to speak to Peter to tell him to 'save the cheerleader..' only because in his time the explosion had already happened and they we not able to stop it. Somewhere along the line he discovered that the only way to stop the explosion was to save the cheerleader. As for the sword, it was his only weapon to protect himself from the aftermath creatures who survived the explosion, perhaps the dinosaur in the painting? Anyway I will wait till January to see how it all plays out on the show. Keep up the good work NBC!

I agree with Super Tired. Not a fan of star trek or does not expect deeper meaning of humanity in the show but it is very superficial, non-climatic, and un-intelligent. Although, I still watch the show hoping that it's gonna get better--for that NBC, you have succeeded in sucking people into following a show with mediocre, non-climatic plot. And what is up with that indian guy? first he was interested and wanted to figure out more about his fathers work, and then he want's nothing of it, and then wants to get involved again, and then forgets about it, and he's back again?! WTF! I think he should just die a stupid death, just like where this series is going.

Well, it's obvious NBC has some paid shills in here to push the "are you on the list" thing. How lame of a hook.

You may read that initial statement and judge that I am a hater of the show. It is quite the opposite. I am very enamored of the show. However, I am disappointed that the writers are failing to really tap the breadth and depth of this "heroes" idea. Instead, they choose to skim the surface with simple ideas while they try to copy the hook that Lost had and keep everything an obvious mystery.

-Yes, I must agree, an 11 part pilot. Things move too slowly, are undeveloped, and seem to be written for an audience stuck in 8th grade. How about exploring the more intricate aspects of someone who possesses a power? Or, conversely, the effect it has on other people around them? This "save the cheerleader" thing is old. Since NBC failed to develop it and simply make it a tag-line they're now receiving endless ridicule for it. You missed the bus, writers. Sometimes when you drag a plot out too far, you end up having it be too thin to be usable.

Continuity and factual errors such as this posting is going to kill this show. Wow, that fast eh? Did you happen to arrive standing in front of the door completely naked? Because, moving that quickly, the wind shear and friction would have torn them off. Same thing for the Petrelli brother who can fly. Interesting that he was still clothed after his little sonic boom. That made me laugh.

Seriously, NBC you have a great potential to make this show a long-running series. Please start putting some intelligent thinking into the show, rather than pandering to the kiddies who don't know better. Why do you think something like Star Trek: The Next Generation ran for so long? It was because they explored the deeper meaning of humanity and the issues therof and made it INTERESTING. Not, "oooh I have phasers and other wild technology...save the starship, save the universe" junk.

I'll keep watching though. Let's hope the writers can pull it out of the ditch...

TBird, chill. Rule No. 1 of Entertainment, "Always leave'em wantin' more." This looks like some harmless fun to me. I still stand by the majority of my earlier comments, but nobody's lost an eye to the show yet that wasn't supposed to in the script. For all you know, the writers may be interacting with us and taking our ideas/guesses into thought as they write their next script. Ask anybody here, there' just fans. Not fanatics or akin to trekkies in anyway. Some like the show more than others, and apparently some are appalled by it. You're free to your opinion, but if you're not a fan, then just enjoy their dedication to their television. This blog does not cheapen the show nor does more than Claire's MySpace blog. (Which I've never visited.) It's feedback, more or less. I've recieved both good and bad feedback from the things that I had previously written. It's called suspension of disbelief, and a tradition of interaction that is as old as theater itself.
I think it adds an interesting level to the show, and also gives the studios a solid form of emotional feedback about the show, and how well they're doing (Incredible, in my opinion)
Instead of berating or insulting the posters here, why not join the fun, or at least give some decent comments on the show?

Time and space is a mysterious concept. Maybe with practice you can go back and bring her to a DIFFERENT time (Future preferably)(you may want to stay away from the PREHISTORIC ERA!*L*). Then maybe get her Illness taken care of as well.

I am sorry that you could not save your love. Perhaps nature will not allow an event that has already happened to unhappen, it would create too large of a paradox. My advice is to find an orical and stick close to him/her. They can see a vision of an event instead of experiencing it, and visions are much more changeable than events.

hiros powers arent fading out he just is afaid to use them because he thinks that he will do more damage or not change the future if he goes back in time, he will learn that the future is inevitable and he cant do much to help it other than stoping time and fixing the present.

Hiro, I think I have an idea as to why your powers are shorting out. I think you might have thinned them out too far. I mean, think about it, even Superman has his limits. As for someone else who might have powers, when I woke up this morning I could see the sky...through my roof! But there wasn't an opening to see out of, and when I tried to focus to make sure I wasn't dreaming I couldn't see through the ceiling anymore. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Does anyone remember that painting with Hiro fighting a dinosaur with a sword? At first glance you would think this took place in the past. However, Isaac is only able to paint the "future". Does that mean that someone is going to bring a dinosaur to the present? Or maybe it's a symbol, like the Uluru in Isaac's previous painting... Did anyone hear that Hiro's dad is gonnna show up and take his son back home? Is that true? I can't wait until the next episode. It's so far away.....

Hiro you need to concentrate better. When do you get your sword and fight dinosaurs? Wish you did not have a 2 month break.

You just need to practice the whole time travel thing. You from the future had the who thing under control.

But, you definitely need to get that sword. You might as wll just travel back to feudal Japan to get it, and while you're there get two, dual wielding swords is always awesome. Oh, but on the way back just remember that you have to visit your dinosaur friend.

Heh, I'm surprised it didn't double-post. Happens to me a lot. I mean, just little things. Like there was this book about genetics from some guy from India. I remember his name was Chandra something, because I worked with a woman named Chandra once and thought it was just a girl's name. Anyway, I'd bought a copy because I'm interested in that sort of thing. When I got home though, I had two copies in the bag. I'm sure I only picked up one, and the receipt only had one copy in purchase. Maybe I'm klepto or something and don't realize it. Doesn't explain that sort of thing in my own house though. Like, I'll think I got one pen in my pocket but I have two. Sometimes it's in my favor though, hehehe.. think ya got one $20 bill and ya got two instead. Just funny stuff like that. Anyway, I like weird stuff like that, so I got that genetics book. I doubt there's any kind of connection though.

Two: My theory is that Peter can't take having too many people with powers around him at the same time. I think he blows up because of that. I think if you keep yourself from going to NYC, Peter won't blow up. The weird thing is that in Peter's dream, he saw Simone being restrained by Issac. Wasn't Issac supposed to be dead? I have just one question... when the heck did Peter come in contact with Geofrey??? Obviously, what was wrong with him was radiation poisoning, duh! (The pale skin, sweating profusley, dizziness, nausea, etc, etc... not to mention him seeing himself 'blowing up', just like radioactive-boy is supposed to do) But I havn't seen those two in contact at all, so how is that possible. I though, well maybe they meet in the near future, since radiation-boy broke out of the FBI facility... but no, that's not right. Peter is sick NOW. They've already been close enough for Peter to absorb him power. This isn't good, not good at all. And you know what's worse? After thinking about this for quite some time, I've come to the realization that Syler is the only one that can stop the bomb. He's the only one that can take the person who explodes' power and know how to control it, to the extent of stopping the world from going BOOM!!! So here's a question... if Peter blows up... which I hope he doesn't... but if he does, then how does Future-Hiro know a version of Peter with a scar? I mean, you blow up, you're pretty much dead. So I'm thinking everything will be okay, since Hiro knows Peter in the future, a version of Peter that has a scar... But at the same time... When the heck did Peter come in contact with radiation-boy???

Hiro, you and Charlie were so cute. It's such a shame that she had to die. She's such a sweet girl and she had the most awesome power. I think i would choose her power if i could have any of you guy's powers. Sure it's not crazy incredible or anything but it's the most practical and useful for me in real life. It's astounding! I went to the local gym to check out how fast I can actually go. Seems I surprised myself.

Turns out that the tredmill wasn't fast enough... Heh... I ran into the wall the first time. That's when I spotted it. An exercise bike, which just so happened to gauge how fast you go while peddling.

I waited for the majority of the gym members to leave so I could have more privacy. I began peddling.

Effortlessly I was doing a casual 38 miles per hour. But I know I ran faster that other time I spoke with you about. I accelerated. The meter went up quicker than I expected. 40... 50... 55...

...65 .... 80! Push it. Keep peddling... Faster.. FASTER! 99... 100! 100 miles per hour?! How was this possible? I kept going...

120... 140... 145.... SNAP! the front wheel snapped off it's axis sending the once stationary bike through the window throwing me into the lobby.

I was in mid-air... Yet I could react... Like I slowed down time... But not really, like in that show with that Neo guy. I managed to correct myself and land on my feet. I ran straight for the door and exited as fast as I could...

I was in the parking lot before the bike even fell.

I think I might of, how you like to say, "leveled-up". ^^;

Watching the scene where Charlie explains how Hiro's character has made her so happy in those last days of her life was very difficult for me to watch.

In Real Life(r), my fiancee died of lung cancer after six months of intensive treatment. More than once she told me how happy I'd made her in nearly the same words that Charlie's character used. I continue to hear it from her friends and family. Those last years were the best of her life, they tell me.

It's kind of odd how Art imitated Life in this case. I'm sure someone in the production staff had a similar experience to draw from when they wrote that storyline. They did a very good job.

I even see that Hiro has difficulty picking up and carrying on. I know from personal experience that when something like that happens to you, it rips your heart out and leaves you a hollow person for quite a while. Even when you've got kids to raise (or a world to save), it's hard to get up every morning.

I hope the producers and Mr. Kring keep a memory of Charlie within Hiro's storyline. I think it will keep him grounded and humble.

I enjoy the show tremendously. I'm fascinated by the topic and entertained by the storytelling. I think that special effects are over-rated and storytelling is most important. Alfred didn't use many special effects and he created fantastic movies.

Yes Peter has a scar, I am betting that Sylar tries to kill him (having Claire close saves him) he uses Sylar's powers against him and ends up gaining all of them.
Peter then becomes a powerful hero. Like he said, do you ever feel like you were meant to do something?

Stay calm myfriend the reason you are loseing controll of your powers is because you are lacking that innocence that you had when you first gained it. It seems to me that most of our heros that have inactive powers (Powers that you need to concentrate on) Need some sort of emoation that triggers the power into play. Yours has always been in the role of a hero you must realise that you are set out to do something and you are a hero and the "writers of what comic you would be in have some goal for you" Keep true to the art and hope and take controll of your power. Does no-one relize this? When Hypno- lady(eden) was trying to tell sylar to kill himself, he put on a blank look. and his eyes looked straight forward instead of looking up ad eden. he was looking at a light. a red light. a red light that should have been green, because eden opened the door. the activation code stops a machine from working. the machine creates something along the lines of an electromagnetic field so that people cannot use their powers. She turned the machine off so she could use her own power to tell him to kill himself. I have no idea why it didnt work, but sylar noticed and he now knew he could use his powers. boom, she's dead, she shoots herself so sylar cant get at her brain.

Hiro, don't worry. Sometimes a heroes path is unclear. You should keep doing what you feel is right. PS, I have a history exam coming up. Ya think you can um ya know, tell me if i pass in advance? Jk

Sometimes people, don't get me wrong, need to die in order for others to learn, grow stronger, and ultimately live.

Uncle Ben for example, he had to die in order for Peter Parker to learn responsibility. Jean Grey had to die 3 times to save the world and the X-men. It's sad when they do go and it feels as a bit of you dies.

But in order to truly give their death meaning you must live for them. Live for them in the future, not the past. Charlie will be missed now honor her memory and continue your fight for good. I'm sure she would have wanted it that way.

Sorry about not posting for a while. I didn't have much to say, and it seems like now you got this thing that if wait too long you can't post. I think.

I'm very sad that the thing with Charlie (just how did a girl get the name Charlie?) didn't go well. I'm sad that it made you sad. But I'm glad that you had a good time with her in the little time you did have. I think you did make her happy.

It wasn't just the bad man, though. She would have died anyway because there was something wrong with her brain. Not the memory thing, something else.

I know you had to save the cheerleader in order to save the world (but don't worry about her, she's ok), but some people are fated to die. Some of them die to save the world. Remember Aeris? I don't know if Charlie was one of those people, but maybe thinking along those lines will comfort you.

And about your powers, maybe it has something to do with your emotions. I noticed that when you were with Charlie, you were able to hold time for much longer. You had to hold it for a long time to fold 1000 paper cranes, after all. But when you were distressed and sad, they didn't work so well. It's just a thought. I'm not sure.

I'm sorry you're sad, but I'm glad to hear that you're physically ok.

Hiro, you did all you could. You are wise to realize that it is not your place to choose life and death. I think that now you should travel far back in time to ancient Japan to train in martial arts, kendo, and in the ways of calming your mind, and as a final test of your power, travel even further to slay a Tyrannosaurus Rex, the closest thing in existence to a Dragon. You should name your sword Charlie, or Chaalii in Katakana. I think she would be honoured to be immortalized that way.

I agree with Cato... I thought I was going crazy! It started with me noticing little things...coincidences I would call them, but now I realize it's something more. I seem to be able to make things happen. If I think about them 'hard' enough events occur that imagined only moments before.

Sorry it all didn't work out for you Hiro, trying to change the past may not work but who knows. You'll have to work on it some more, too bad your powers are freaking out. Usually I would be a skeptic of these things but not this time. And with you and Blur below both having developed weird powers, I too have a tale.

It all began on my way to school, as I was munching down on an apple (gotta keep that doctor away), I passed a stand selling oranges, my favorite fruit. They looked delicious and I hadn't had a good one in forever (and I'm from Florida so I'm used to amazing ones). I could thought of the exact orange I wanted, a Valencia orange with that perfect orange color that you know will taste out of this world.

Well, when I took a bite of my apple I immediatly spit it out. It wasn't an apple, it was an orange and I had just bitten into the peel. As I stared wondering what had just happened it transformed in my hand back into an apple.

I spent any free time I had for the next three days trying to replicate what had happened and I finally did it. It only lasted for five seconds or so but since I've been practicing and I can morph other things into different objects and have been able to make the transformations last for over half a minute. And the objects don't just look like what I make them they actually become it.

It's odd having this power but knowing there are others like you gives me hope.

To find true love and believe me time move on no matter how much you don't want it to (I guess in your case time can't move if you don't want it to) but what I wouldn't give to bend space time instead I get the evil half who offers me power and now that I think about it power wouldn't be bad if I could control it anyway backin' you 110%

Haven't read all the comments (your a popular guy!) but I'm sorry you weren't able to save Charlie. Maybe it wasn't her destiny. You can't save everyone, it's a horrible lesson every hero has to learn

As for your power problems, well its happened to a lot of people. Spider-man especially. Your powers seem to be fading because your doubting yourself. Like in the Spider-man 2 film (and dozens of the comics). Because you feel like you failed Charlie your don't believe in yourself. When you come to terms with it your powers will return and grow. Look at what future you could do ;)

And you didn't fail her. The time you spent with Charlie will have been the best of her life. You made her feel as special as she made you, and if she could she'd tell you that she wouldn't change a think. Hang in there Hiro-san.

ok ive already figured out whats going to happen here it is, sylar infected peter with a small part of him (because in a way they are very alike u know the whole power thing)because he knew he was a threat. so hes causing peter to be kinda messed up (the coughing and sweating and the white face)and he created an image in his dream of him being the bomb so he will kill himself. (sylar is also scared of him because he could learn how to learn other ppls abbilitys without having to kill them!) i knew more but i forgot it ^^lol

Since you went back 6 months, that was before you had perfected your gift. So I would think that you are back at when you weren't able to teleport or stop time. Just keep practicing and you'll get it back.

Matt Parkman's mindreading was activated somehow so that he could read minds with only a little effort on his part, you on the other hand, haven't had any changes to activate your abilities other than naturally, which is slow if you believe that evolution took a trillion billion years. Maybe you might learn more if you read Chandra Suresh's book, "Activating Evolution". You must remember that the future Hiro is almost a different person from you entirely, one that you will one day become. Peter didn't draw the future directly in Issac's presence, the exploding man may be Sylar's future, but I doubt that we'll find out anything in the short run. I thought that Masi Oka was supposed to be on the Glenn Beck show, but I didn't see him there. Still, Peter may be able to improve upon his powers by concentrating, as it appears to be the key to using powers with most of the characters.

Hiro, blur, like you i believe I am different. I Am known by Zakariah The Hunter by my friends, and have had a problem with bullies at my school, yes I am a school age kid. I Was mad at this kid who kept on bullying me, and i wished for him to be gone, to just leave, to go kill himself. And i noticed a stack of papers in a wire bin teetering on top of a bookcase. I said fall out loud, and it came down, and sprained his ankle, he hasnt messed wiht me since.

Hiro, one must remember that the hero doesn't always win. Don't beat yourself up about it. This too, will come to pass. Good luck in your future travels.

Okay, here is what I think. Peter can't die, when Hiro appeared to him on the subway with Isaac, Hiro told Peter he looked different without the scar.....therefore Peter has to live. I also don't remember Peter meeting the Radioactive guy. I thougt that was the Cop. Also, Peter doesn't retain the power of each person he only gains the power when he is around them. I want to know why Peter was "sick" and coughing with sweats...? Didn't Mohinder's father say something about abilities can be a like a cancer? Oh, well I can't wait until January.

okay, this is what i think. First, stick in there hiro you have to finish your quest cause your the best hero ever. secound, i dont think Peter copys powers i think he can sense peoples thoughts/feelings when hes near them, he can CONNECT with them and this connection remains after sometime after deppending on how long hes around the person. his bro is always working on his campain so peter rarly sees him thats why he cant fly and he was around isaac alot so he could be seeing the future.BUT!!! what he saw MIGHT have not been the future but a message off who the other heros are and were to find them and that they need to meet. my Third theory is that he saw that as a way of saying that hes diffrent then the other heros, that he is stronger or weaker or more important, like how the cheerleader seems so unimportant yet she needs to be saved.

Just a thought about the Charlie/Hiro memory issue ....what if, after Hiro left Charlie (right before they were going to kiss) and before he met her at the diner, Mr. Bennet kidnapped Charlie and then wiped her mind? They both live in Odessa, so it's not to far-fetched. It might have also wiped away any memory of Hiro. Therefore, she wouldn't have recognized him in the diner. It's unlikely, but not impossibe. Thoughts?

Yeah, um, I'm kinda not believing the whole Peter vision at the end either. Remember earlier when Hiro went to the future by accident? He was in Isaac's apartment and Isaac was dead. But in Peter's vision, Isaac was there, and so was Hiro. I'm thinking Hiro's visit to the future was more likely what was going to happen. And I'm inclined to think the earlier post that said Peter absorbing all the powers at once was too much. Good though.

And what an awful thing. But we believe in you to make the world better. (^-^)

Maybe your pawers are zapping out because you traveled too far into the past. Maybe your trip cause some disturbance in the space/time continuum that prevented you from being able to bend right. im sure your powers will fix themselves.

that would be crazy to see him with that power! but like u said since she shot herself im thinking he wont have it. the reason he was able to use his power when she was there is because the hatian guy wasn't there to stop him. wich i been thinking about that and my guess is he will be the one to stop peter from blowing up because he will block that power but thats just throughing the thought out there.

I believe if im not mistaken that it showed the radioactive man right at the end grabbing ahold of a girl so i think its not the powers combined that makes him explode its the man that is there. I believe if the hatian man can block powers he could be used to stop this but i dont know. also as i wrote before peter now knows that he is the cause of the explosion so i wonder how that will effect the future explosion. he also possibly died at the end when he stop breathing.

as for hiro and charlie, alot of other post i read suggest that she is just playing dumb and act like she does not know him when she meets him in the future because she would have known him from the 6 month period that they were together

also at the end nikkie/jessica was trying to get herself arrested to protect herself from her kid but in peters vision of the future you can see them all running from the explosion so that will be interseting to see how she gets out of telling the police that she is a murderer.

Hiro, your powers are just in flux, over used in Vagus and still too new. Rest them and try again. It's like over working a muscle.

Also with Peter, I think he's undergoing a further mutation caused by his "echo" ablity. He can temporaraly absorb the powers of others around him. . . ever wonder what that's doing to his DNA?

Hey everyone my name is Chris but in the online world I am Kokoru... I've been watching the show and I think it is THE BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!! That being said, now we have to wait till January 22nd to see what happens to all of our beloved Heroes. Something happened in the preview...

It said "who is on the list?" if I am not mistaken? Well I know this is going to sound a little bit crazy, but lately I've think I have been able to control the weather!! (O_O) I always concentrate on changing the wind direction because I wish I could be a Hero like you Hiro, but sometimes it actually changes! I can make the wind go faster, or slow down... How would that really help you guys anyway?

Maybe even if I can control the wind, it is still not enough to be a Hero (;_;)... Wind never stopped bullets or explosions >

Well, it's back to the old drawing board. That is why those writers get paid, I guess. Still can't figure out then why none of the suggestions from Eden, the mind reading from the cop, the continued imprisonment of Sylar, etc. Their powers did not function in his presence, yet Petrelli was able to zip outa there apparently unhindered.

Who is calling the shots to Claire's dad? Some as yet unrevealed character. Or one that we already know.......

hes like sylar only he doesnt need to kill the other person to gain powers. His visions started when he visited issac mendez, remember he stick figured him flying(which was the first time he drew something from the future) then he painted (second time).

so what im guessing is that the more he is with someone who can do things the better chance he has in keeping his powers. Thats why he was "dreaming" about sylar because he and sylar are the same yet different.

If you anyone read the online comic you'll notice that Eden is dead.

No Sylar did not kill her she shot herself in the head to prevent Sylar from taking another power and growing stronger after realizing her powers could not stop him.

Sylar is tranquilized and eden is mourned.

I dont think HRG has the power to block powers. Even though peter didnt heal in the cell. If HRG could have blocked powers he would have prevented Nathan from flying away.

But why was peter sick?? He was at full recovery and health after he was handcuffed. Mind control only causes servere headaches and nose bleeds and peter was pale, had a cold, and look like he hadn't ate in days. Even with the girl by him he wasn't healing so that still is a mystery to me.

Also why in peters vision did the cheerleader have on her highschool uniform in New York?

As for Hiro sorry about charlie man, your emotions jumped you just as you got ported back when you saw the bomb go off. I think long travels deplete for a few to a point you must be in grave danger to use that emergency energy.

Apparently you either jump to the dinosaur age, or godzilla pays your country a visit. That or someone has the ability to shape shift and lost control becoming that beast that you must try and stop. That or your in a museum and its just a statue of where you find your sword.

Your skillz have improven and now its time for you to improve your fighting abilities to blend in with your power.

1 - Heroes is to NBC to what Lost is to Abc. But I like the characters on Hereos more. Two I forgot that Peter was able to absorb the powers of the exploding man. Which now answers why he was going to explode and Claire said I'm sorry. Two Hiro get that Blank-ity Blank Sword already, I don't think that Hiro has mastered his powers as of yet which is why he couldn't save Charlie. Eventually he will and Peter won't be killed. Kind of wondering what the next mission will be after they save NYC? Also Jessica the darksided chick I was hoping she would be bumped off instead it was that girl who told people to do things. This is like an 11 Part Pilot. I want them to all unite and save not just the cheerleader but the world. Now I have to wait a whole....gotta be Ten.....weeks before I see what happens? Damn you NBC for making such an Addictive show.

That's what happens when you mess around with time travel, you get yourself into sticky situations that there seems no way out of.

Peter will be saved by the cheerleader. The reason she did not heal him at the police station, was because HRG (her "father") has his own power. That power is to block the powers of others. Sort of the anti-Peter. That certainly explains why she did't heal from the glass cut until she was away from him for a certain time and also why Peter did not get well immediately after she came to see him.

Hiro, on the other hand, has already changed his own past simply by calling himself in Japan. The fact is that he can shape the future by altering past events, He has done so on a couple of occasions. Most notably, his trip to the future to see the bomb blast and see Issac's body. His trip to see Peter in the subway to warn him to "save the cheerleader, save the world".

Having said that, my cancern is why did Charlie not recognize Hiro when he and his sidekick entered the cafe? Even though Hiro had never seen her before in that time line, they had fallen in love just a scant 6 months ago. The proof in in the photograph on the cafe wall. The trip to the past did occur and the relationship did blossom just as Hiro remembered it.

So, does the memory guy (the Hatian who supposedly cannot speak) go there and remove Charlie's memory of Hiro just to allow Sylar to gain her powers?

Will sylar's aquiring of Charlie's personality/ power be a key in stopping Sylar from continuing his quest to gain the powers of all of our heros?

I can't beleive I am pointing out the breaks in the story line and then telling the writers how to write their way back into continuity. Oh, well.... I hope the writer that takes credit for this posting gets a nice raise out of it.

In the previous episode, "Six Months Before," Hiro stated he was afraid of traveling back too far for fear of being eaten by a T-Rex. To become a better hero, he doesn't need to physically slay a dinosaur, but to proverbially confront his fears through "slaying the beast within."

Hiro And Charlie were great characters to watch for romance, so sweet, but so sad too.

Charlie's death will teach Hiro about the nature of his quest: It is not only about the battles, it is also about the people he must save. His experience with Charlie will allow him to look upon all the others who may die, and realize that even though he cannot change the past, he can change the future through the present.

The reduction of powers is a consequence of trying to do the impossible with them. It brings to mind Isaac Asimov's tale, End of Eternity. It is about a society of time travelers who try to regulate the timeline to prevent human suffering. It may be that Future Hiro, trying to prevent Present Hiro from doing something crazy, is actively interfering with Hiro's path through time and space. It may also be that in this particular portion of the timeline, Hiro must traverse spacetime repeatedly. Because gravity in four dimensions is more reactive than gravity in three, Hiro is repeatedly bumping into himself as he traverses time and space (For in four dimensions, there are more dimensions along which gravity may pull any given masses). Eventually, he will learn that he must use time travel sparingly, for fear of cutting himself off in a rift (Which he is unable to escape since an attempt to do so results in bumping into himself while traversing four dimensions).

And here's a cool stunt Hiro may find himself doing: By simply hitting an opponent while time is paused, the velocity of his fist relative to 'unpaused' time is so fast that when he reverts to unpaused time, he may be able to see that the impact of such a fast punch is enough to send an enemy flying into the next wall with crushing force. Thus, by simply kicking and punching a dinosaur repeatedly while time is paused, he may transfer enough force into the reptile to incapacitate it. He also has the option of pausing time, then blinding the T-Rex.

Also, don't step on the butterflies. Ray Bradbury has outlined the results in "A Sound of Thunder", and it isn't pretty.

In every life time, perils and trials are faced, and no matter the outcome, whether good or bad, what matters is the decision to pass through these tests.....in nobility you tried what you could and that my friend is what matters, because you tried for the good instead of leaving it as bad.
