んちゃ. I'm back in America! \(^o^)/ And I'm blogging from my cell phone. This is going to be expensive so I gotta make it quick.
So using Mister Isaku's comic as my strategy guide, I came back to the present, saved a girl's life, picked up Ando-kun, and flew to America. How did I save a girl's life? Easy. I froze time. (>_<) (o.o) \(^o^)/
My own Star Platinum's The World!
After my MP regenned, (it took a while before I could stop time again) I tried it again and I was able to stop time just a bit longer. It feels like I can control it. So I think I can master Time Freeze. I just hope I don't hit a peak at 5 seconds like Jotaro.
Teleportation and time travel is a completely separate issue. I thought I was only teleporting to New York, but I travelled through time as well. It does seem that I need to level up my skills more, but how do I level up? Do I need more MP? Raise my Job Skill? How do I get XP? Hmm. Oh no. How would I fight an enemy? ((T.T; )(; T.T)) I can't really fight. No weapons. My current spells would be Quick, Return, and Teleport. I think my Teleport would work on boss fights. I hope. But they would all be non-party casts. It would be good game Ando-kun. So I can't run away and go out of combat. I need my Marle and Lucca or a weapon. Too bad I can't learn Meteo. Hmm. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to approach an encounter with an enemy. I need the XP and the Gil. I digress.
I wish there was a guide on how to teleport and time travel. It would be very handy right now. The comic doesn't talk about how to use the power. I guess that's my own fault for just blindly following a strategy guide rather than figuring it out on my own. And it ended as well. "To be continued..." Boo. Looks like we're on our own now. (O.o) I could use my own personal Dr. Emmett Brown or Yoda right now.
Speaking of Yoda, it looks like we're in Tatooine right now. Supposedly, this is the road to Las Vegas, but it's just sand everywhere. It feels like we're about to be attacked by Jawas. Ooh. We're just like the droids. Dibs on R2D2! I'm on a mission with my cyborg translator, アンドウロイド to deliver a message to Mister Isaku. "Isaku-san, you're my only hope." o(^^o)(o^^)o No, wait. I can't be R2D2. I'm Luke, master Jedi! Must. Find. Lightsaber.
Oops, good game phone bill. (T.T) Vegas, here we come. Red five, I'm going in!
時は動き出す、
Hiro
P.S. Thanks for your help on "landslide". Another question. I was studying my phrase book. What does "Let it ride" mean? What is "it" and what is "it" riding? Rodeo term?

It's a stretch, but maybe you can concentrate and expand your powers to a certain area. Maybe you could focus your energy outward and isolate it to an individual to slow them down. Like casting slow. Take that ATB! Then you could chose your method of attack, or flee with someone else that way.
Just a thought. ^_^

To Hiro,
Uh, I've never been to Las Vegas before, it must be really fun. I heard that over there in America, they have drive through weddings. So creepy.
I really think that marriage is a little more important to be trivialized in a drive through, though.
Anyway, one of my friends had a car break down in the middle of the desert once. Telephones don't work there so it was very scary for him. Luckily, he managed to wait for another car. But it was like THREE DAYS or something!
I hope that doesn't happen to you!
From,
Selphie
PS. How are you gonna get your visa sorted out? I guess America is a big country but still. It's kinda dangerous.

Hiro you need to find some mandragora to grind on! That will be quick XP. As far as a weapon? I agree - your life is in danger now. It's best you start thinking about buying a sword. Remember wizards aren't useful until they get at least lvl 4 spells and well... this is the real life. Its hard to powerlevel. Best multiclass a bit. You could be come an eldrich knight! Sweeeet. Ando better learn triggerhappy soon. He needs to protect himself.
You hear that Ando!? Quit waiting around for Hiro to be the hero. You're in this too, and you can be more than just a bystander. You dont need superpowers to be superawesome.

Ok Hiro now for encountering a enemy you have 100's of options.
First you need to practice time freeze as much as you can where ever you go. Every moment you have a chance to use it do it and try to not strain as hard. Get it to a point where you can stop time without closing your eyes or blinking.
Once you got it there you can continue increasing the time you can hold it. It is a long drive to NY so every time your mp regens do it again till you level up this one magic ability.
Once that is done now your ready to encounter your enemies but if you happend to encounter them sooner you can still use this method it will just be slower.
For enemies with a gun you can :
A. Stop time remove the bullets from the gun and chamber and smile if you dont want to hurt them.
B. take there weapon shoot them in the leg(if you dont want to kill) so they cant chase you and hide the gun where they can't find it.
C. If mutiple gun users before first shot is about to fire freeze time and direct them facing each other and let them do all the work.
D. freeze time cover there eyes with something. Or buy some mace and spray everyones eyes. They cant hurt what they cant see.
E. And of course you can always just kick em all in the nuts while time is frozen about 4 kicks per person, even the weakest kicks do crit damage lol.
But later on if you do get a katana you can easily freeze time slice and dice all your enemies and then release time and have the blood shoot out like a old Zatoichi movie.
The key is mastering time freeze with little effort and doing it frequently. Mastering this ability will unlock gates to learning and mastering your harder ones.
Good luck
PS If you want to know how to fight you can look up one of the greatest teachers in the world of fighting in the past. Time trave and teleport to that area. Use a secret code name learn all the arts and teleport back to you and ando kun. It will be before your time so you won't create a rift an you will just be another student mastering the arts and doing a super hereos duty.
So maybe some Wing Chun or Shoto Kan Karate or hey even Ninjutsu so keep that in mind it may come in handy.

Oh hiro. Whenever you mention a JoJo reference it never fails to make me squeel in delight. Maybe you should quote Jojo next time you stop time. At least an "ora" now and then would make you a god in my eyes. You should find time to update Jojo's wikipedia so the whole world can know what they're missing out on! :D

"Let it ride" is a gambling phrase, made popular by the movie "Let It Ride" starring Richard Dreyfuss. "Letting it ride" means letting your winnings finance your next bet when you are on a winning streak.

No weapons? You don't need them! Instead, set your opponents up so that they end up using their weapons against each other. For example, if one of them is about to punch you, you could stop time and then move things around so he is about to punch his own ally instead.
Also, AWESOME that you referenced ChronoTrigger! What a great game it was, in its time. I sure do love all the Star Ocean games, Suikoden, and Dark Cloud nowadays though!

I wouldn't know much about fighting, but I'm just going to wing it here. Since you can stop time, why not do that and then use that to your advantage, do whatever you want. Or you can teleport behind your enemy and bash him on the head or something. I really don't know, maybe throw one of those pointy stars at your enemy.... {:-O .....
Oh, and I love Star Wars, so I know what you're talking about...yes, you are Luke and you have much to earn my young Padawan....lol...I know you'll do great...May the force be with you....

I love how some of the people on here love to try and discredit his post by claiming that he's wrong when he says "Star Platinum's the World" since a.) I don't think he'd want to compare himself to the villian. b.) the stand does become Star Platinum The World in chapter 6 c.) stop nitpicking about different people's translations of what you've probably only heard about second hand in a chatroom.

Hiro san:
In addition to you developing your own skills and leveling up your HP,MP, and AP, you should start thinking about developing double- or triple-techs with other heroes, it will be more powerful and save you lots of MP while casting. Also, if you could just SLOW time, it would consume less MP and you'd move at twice the speed, making your ATB charge faster and physical attacks more powerful. Also, if you can slow or freeze time, you can perform the Omni-Slash!
Oh, I think the "S" symbol stands for Sephiroth! since it's no L for Lavos.

Konnichi-wa, Hiro-kun~
You should probably just practice. I mean, that's what Peter Parker and Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent all did, and they do say that practice makes perfect. It would be helpful to have a mentor, but I think you're going to have to learn on your own for now.
Good luck in Las Vegas!!

Hiro,
Can you *slow* time? If so, you would move like a film strip being played too fast. Your reflexes would be fast enough to dodge any blows. You can dodge bullets, baby! Causing damage might be difficult. You seem to bring things you touch into your frame of reference. The glass you set right in the casino should have broken if it had been in the stopped time frame from the effective force you applied to it. Maybe you could move heavy objects into the paths of your opponents fists so that they hurt their hands. What happends if you try to throw something while time is stopped?
Einstein said that time and space are the same thing. Light travels at the speed of time. Is there anyway you could 'see' the future (or possibly the past) without travelling there by affecting the speed at which light travels?

Dear Hiro-san,
I have a suggestion for you. You have the power to go foward in time so you must have the power to go backwards in time as well obviously. Just go back in time to feudal Japan and find a master to teach you how to fight.

Sorry to 'Break Character' here, but someone has definately been doing their Geek research :-)
Hiro speaks like a total comic/star wars/rpg fanboy, and I love it! I wonder if it was intentional to make the geek of the group japanese? We all know that this show appeals to many 'geeks' (comic/sci-fi fans). Making him american would be making him the stereotypical nerd; japanese nerds are diffreent enough to be interesting :-)
If the show goes on long enough, and its possible to introduce just a little bit of comedy into such a serious show, I would love to see him visit an american comic/sci-fi convention (San Diego ComicCon, perhaps?) ^_^

Greetings Hiro Nakamura.
I take it you're a lover of American culture. Please keep yourself open. Look at different genres. (and I don’t mean strictly dark stuff. J.Michael Straczynski dealt with Time Travel in his Five Year story, “Babylon Five" and his 12 issue comic "Midnight Nation.” How about the romantic short story Fire Tripper, or the fantasy saga Inu Yasha, both by Rumiko Takahashi? They also have Manga here by American artists. Try Gold Digger by Fred Perry. Like manga he balances comedy with tragedy, action with peace. I'm a big fan of Nihongo Manga as it offers literature more heartfelt and sincere (even in their darkness.)While my favourites aren't current, I treasure them all. You know instead of Vegas try an Anime convention you’d be popular there just by speaking the language. (Many Anime fans will probably understand you better). Enjoy your future Hiro but don't give up who you are. School reports are just numbers and by the book Teachers can be poor judges of your worth. I think you’re doing a Great Job. Oh yes, Britain’s BBC talks about Time Travel in Doctor Who as well. If you had a laptop, you could download it.
As for the actor who plays you, “Mr. Masi Oka you’re incredible. I was spell bound just watching you first talk on the screen. If saying the lines in Japanese is tense (so many people take speaking more than one language for granted) try watching some Anime (subtitled in English). It got me a Perfect Score in my College Japanese course. I was told I got the accent correct as well as the timing. To think, I improved my studies by watching cartoons. (How many people can say that?) I grinned from ear to ear to hear you shout Yatta. I wish they had courses where I am. I loved learning Japanese. It was reading it that truly stumped me. I’m already losing what I knew because I have no one interested in speaking it. On a different note I hope the show goes well and you get invited to a convention up here in Toronto. It’d be great to meet you and get your autograph. Hey if I can meet Star Trek’s Sulu George Takei, why not? Oh your write-up says you writing romantic comedies. Have any been published? You’re doing a great job in your Hiro portrayal. What can I can I say I’m a fan.”

There is a real living artist in New York City named Eele that can paint the future before it happens. I had a chance to see him and his artwork at Hunter College New York City at a special presentation given to him by the Arts Club at Hunter College on April 22, 2005. At this presentation, the artist showed us artwork about Katrina and Rita and he also showed us a piece he was still working on about a bus blowing up in Times Square. He also showed artwork about September 11th, that he painted in January 2001. There is an article on him in the New York Daily News August 5th 2004, and another in the Hunter College Newspaper May 11th 2005. You may remember Katrina and Rita hit the south in August 2005. I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to see this artist way before there was anything called Hereos, the TV show. Tim Kring's work is not original, Eele is an African American Artist that does not have a drug problem and Issac Mendez is Latino with a drug problem. What's really sad about all of this is that the only other African American on Hereos is in jail. So, I would like everyone to know that even though NBC and Tim Kring does not see fit to portray African American and Hispanic people in a positive light, there is a black artist in New York City that can paint the future, and he is not on drugs. I walked away from the presentation at Hunter College with a positive attitude about real living people with this type of ability.

Hiro I was just trying to help. lol Also blackjack wouldnt be the way to go. Roulette would be way better. If you were to bet (lets say) 100$ and land on the correct number the pay out is a lot more than it would be if you were to hit Blackjack. Plus you would only have to do it once. Also many RPG games have Casinos. That where I usually make my money so I can buy my weapons, Armor, and potions. So since there are no battles so he can gain money I think this would be the logical way to go. If he makes a lot of money off gambling and feels guilty about it, then use what you need to get the mission done and then donate the rest to a charity.

Oh yes, about 'let it ride' -- I think it started with the use of riverboats for gambling casinos, just like in Texas Hold 'Em poker they talk about The River and The Bend. It's like, the bet is on the table, you've won the last one, do you want to pick it up or leave it all there for your next bet? "Let it ride" means you leave all your winnings from the last bet there, what they call 'doubling up'.
|
|
|
|
Not to encourage misbehavior, but in a purely theoretical sense, it would be more practical for Hiro-san to freeze at a Blackjack table and look at the cards than it would to try to affect the roulette wheel. But don't do that! There are desperate people everywhere in Las Vegas, the responsible action would be to keep a wary eye on anyone who looks as though they've gone over the edge and may hurt themselves or other people, and use your abilities to prevent this!

I'd warn you away from the line of thinking below, Hiro - though, in all honesty, I don't think you'd fall for it anyway. There are far too many things that have been justified by saying, "Yeah, it's bad, but it's for the greater good!". I don't think I have to tell you that, though. Here's to hoping you're a Spidey fan. Peter'd never do anything like that, whether or not it was for the greater good, no matter the temptation.
And if nothing else, you said you were looking for your own Doc Brown. Remember this, my friend - Doc Brown was FIRMLY against using the DeLorean for profit or gain. It was for the benefit of mankind, and that was IT.
I know you'll make the right choice, Hiro. Get back to us!

Hey Hiro, if you want to make money in Las vegas just go to the roulette table in a casino, speed up time to after the ball has landed on a number and remember it. Then return back to the present and bet on the number you know is gonna win. I understand this would be a misuse of power but it's going to fund your, "Save The World Quest" Its for the greater good.

Hiro,
I realize I'm prolly just restating what everyone else said, but you really should consider making some cash to fund your heroic efforts. Somebody on your blog said you were like a White Mage, but I wanted to correct them... you're more like a Time Mage (Yay retro FF's).
Since you are learning to control time, you have the most potent and amazing ability. If you could learn to travel backwards more than forwards, you may be able to prevent even more accidents (ones that you didn't [unintensionally]cause this time).
I was wondering if you could use your powers to render yourself invisible. By controlling the fabrics of time, you can control how everything moves in relation to you... Therefore, if you can learn to "stop" or "slow" time in a faster manner than you can do it now, you could slow down time whenever someone was about to see you and move to an area where they wouldn't see you and "un-freeze" time there... ^^ That's some crazy stuff Hiro. I suggest practicing on Ando-san... Heheheh.

Hey, Hiro, Tom raises a good point. I don't know if you're a big DC fan, but maybe you have powers like The Flash! The world appears to slow down around him when his mind speeds up!
But that wouldn't explain the teleportation. No, I think you might be able to drastically slow time. You're an Einsteinian dream come true, buddy.

The writers of that episode count how many times they got turned down by girls, put a period, then put down the number of times they've kissed girls?
Hey, I'm not insulting Star Trek fans - note my Ferengi reference above, folks. But it's not like we geeks are great with the ladies.
Except you, Hiro. How many girls here have said they love you?
Maybe I just need to be Japanese. Hmm.

One thing to consider is if you are really stopping time completely. If you did, would you be able to see? Being able to see is dependent on light travelling to your retinas in your eyes. If you stop time completely, then light also stops, making everything pitch black. You may just be slowing time down drastically, so everything appears to be stopped, but since the speed of light is orders of magnitude greater than or normal speeds, it still moves fast enough to allow you to see. Feel like setting up an experiment to measure the speed of light the next time you freeze time? If you ever do freeze time and wind up unable to see, don't panic, try letting time flow a little faster.
Obviously you can take objects with you when you teleport or move through time or whatever. Think you could take another person or two with you when you do? Makes getting to New York a lot easier.
Good luck

You have a fantastic support ability- but if you can master your teleportation- maybe you could teleport other people. Or even cause time to stop for just one person like a Paralyze spell!
Maybe then you could get the fighter in your party to take them out... Oh but you need a party-- Hey like every other super hero you need to find more like yourself!
Form a Justice League!

Hiro,
I think your power of teleportation is based of the theories of a great movies called What the Bleep!. Basically an object appears in more then one place at a time. Depending on where your mind perceives that object to be at, is where it located. Take a bouncing ball in a circle drawn on the ground. When you’re looking at the ball it is bouncing in the middle of the circle. If you are not looking at it has the potential to be bouncing anywhere within that circle. Now for you, I believe you power works on the same concept. You are able to place yourself in those additional locations at will.

Hm, how to encounter an enemy. Well for one thing, I know in your mind you're thinking Final Fantasy, but don't. This isn't like where each fighter takes turns making their attack.
Think more Kingdom Hearts. Everything is going on all around you. If you encounter a boss, or even just a pawn, (like the regular Heartless) then I'd reccommend running around, and keeping cover while you cast your spells...it will protect you better.
Something to keep in mind is that you may or may not have MP but you definitely don't have HP. Almost any blow you recieve is an automatic KO, so keep that in mind. There's no Moogle's to save your game and start over, Kupo.
But, on the contrary, one thing you definitely need to excerisize your skill is time travel. Should you ever mess up, going back in time is the closest thing to a check point in a game you can get.
So you said your skills included, teleportation, time travel, and time freeze.
Hm, you're right about Dr. Emmet Brown, I'd reccomend watching Back to the Future to see what you can learn about time travel. haha. or maybe pick up a book, there's some theories out there. Actually I was doing some light reading on this Chandra Suresh guy...seems to know a thing or to, you should check out his book....I don't seem to recall what its title was.
Eh, anyways, just uh, I don't know about lightsabers, but you may want to look into a means of defending yourself. In Final Fantasy terms, you're kind of like a White Mage with Haste or Slow or Stop and Teleport being your key magic....you can't fight anyone with that. Ando doesn't have powers either. Maybe you should look into getting guns...or maybe big buster swords like Cloud.

Moshi Moshi Hiro san! I live in Vegas, so maybe I could show you around while you are here hahahaha
With your power, you should play Roulette so that you can practice freezing time and moving the ball to the number you are betting on!
I would suggest reading up on Kurt Wagner, Nightcrawler, from the X-Men. You may not be as agile but you could definitely use your power to escape sticky situations. Maybe watching an episode or two of "Charmed". Piper was able to freeze her foes with the wave of her hands, maybe you can do the same?! Also, it wouldn't hurt to learn how to use a sword either lol
Take care Hiro. Sayoonara!

I think I can answer the delemma of teleporting to NOvember 8th in New York City.
People say that Time and Space are interrelated. SO, if you move in time, you also move in space. IN OTHER WORDS, if you traveled through time to 100 years ago, you'd probably end up in a different place, maybe Brazil. So if you traveled in space (like to New York) you might also travel through time, explaining how how you got to NOvember 8th without trying.
With practice, you could probably make it so you only travel one second in the futre when traveling through space, or one meter when traveling through time.
Hope I was of help,
Thoughtful

Seriousely-
all of you "detail oriented" people out there. I have much respect for you - my life would probably be easier if I were that way. A little Advice though, lighten up- it's a show about super heroes - there are going to be a few improbabilities and maybe even a few *gasp* missed comic references. If you really get your jollies from being a purist than- by all means, go right on ahead. I just think the show's more fun without all the nitpicking. Besides- how much nitpicking could you really do- the show is friggen awesome.

Hey, Hiro, good luck on your adventures. One thing to keep in mind--the more money you have, the easier it is to do things in America. Las Vegas is one of the best places in the country for you to use your powers to enable you to do so.
I know you don't like using your powers for personal gain, but put the money in a separate stash and only use it for things related to your quest.
Watch out for a guy named Linderman. I hear he's in Las Vegas. Oh, and watch out for inadvertently causing the things you're worried about. Remember Ando-san and the truck!
Best always

(-__-); Hiro-kun...I hate to break this to you but the way your powers work may be just a TAD bit different than an RPG. I would have hoped you would learn that after what happened a few weeks from now...remember...with the gun and the blood. (>__>)
Real life DOES NOT equal an RPG.
But to "level up" I would suggest practicing. It would most likely help with you in the long run and with YOUR powers...it could really help. (^_^)b
Also...I have a theory about why you ended up in New York a few weeks later. Maybe you can't TELEPORT, teleport but you sped up time while not moving. So...the earth rotated under you while you were time jumping and thus you ended up in NYC.
(^__^);
That probably didn't make much sense but I'll try and flesh it out for you more.
Anyways, good luck with your road trip. Don't pick up any hitchhikers...unless they happen to be carrying a towel.

This is coming from a Sith Lord Hiro so I've been thinking about your powers and how to use them. So far you can stop time, revers time, teleport, and travle in the further. So, think about the big picture of your powers. If you could freez time and pick up that girl who was about to get hit by the bus then you can freez time and drive a car. Your just moving matter from one point to another, be it a girl or a car on the road, it would just take more time to learn how. And, if you don't get it right the first time you could always go back and try again. You could try teleporting things as well as you.
If you we're to think yourself a jedi then remember a jedi doesn't fight. A jedi protets. You should use your power to protect the world.
P.S. Your my favorite. You rock!

Ohayo Hiro-kun! Let it ride means to roget about something that would otherwise work you up. Best to let some problems work themselves out rather than get involved. Remember, not every problem can be solved just through time-stopping and teleporting.
P.S. Hiro-kun, you are lucky! First you play FFXII first, then you can alter time/space. But I am glad a true otaku/gamer got powers.

"Let It Ride" is a casino game.It is a casino variation of poker, played against the casino rather than against the other players. You get the chance to take you bets back, based on your cards, or you can let it ride. Which means you let your bet sit to the end and see if you win! Its a rather slow paced game, but you have the chance of doubling your bet if you lucky cards! Good Luck in Las Vegas!
P.S.
Don't let Ando reveal that he is a superfan of Niki's she been getting more and more angry, i would hate to see Ando on her bad side!

Hiro-san, remember...Did Pazu need a weapon? Or his good heart and strong spirit?
Don't worry about lightsabers. When the tiome comes, you will be the strong support and defender of your friends. When they need you, you will be there for them. You will be their strengthener.
Professor Charles Xavier once called Kurt Wagner, Nightcrawler, the heart and soul of the X-men. Like him, your heart knows what a true hero is. And that knowledge is greater than any weapon.

We are not so different, "you" and I. Your adventures make me smile and laugh because If I ever had powers I'd probably react much as "you" had.
I laughed when I read how much time "you" spent in front of "your" PS2. I have one that runs pretty much 24/7 running Linux (via the official Linux kit)
I do wonder if "you" brought your PS2 to America with "you" in your luggage, to keep playing FFXII. It has not been released here as of yet.

You no longer need a comic/strategy guide. The Force is strong in you, Hiro. In regards to your teleporting, I think you should attempt to recall what exactly you did when you teleported to the women's restroom. Or attempt to teleport short distances. As for time traveling I'm guessing that inserting plutonium inside you won't work that well. Think back to the time when you were in the subway car. What were you doing? I think if you could duplicate what you were doing, and then on subsequent runs you'll, hopefully, be able to time travel or teleport of your own volition.
|
|
|
|
Time travel necessitates teleportation: the Earth rotates on its axis, revolves around the sun, while the solar system moves through space. If Hiro just traveled in time, he might end up floating in space depending on how far in the past or future he traveled.

While the rest of the world is so desperate to fit in and be normal, Hiro-san stands and says he will not go gently into that good night. He will embrace his powers, will strive to perfect and strengthen them, and will save New York and perhaps the world, and he will take joy in his differences from the rest. I have to admire that.
Plus, Hiro-san likes DBZ. He wins, forever and ever.

By superimpose I mean that he projects himself at the present point in time onto the point in time that he is going to. The watch stays the same and he never collects any American currency because his present self never did that. Also, the comic book came back because he kept that on his person and it was superimposed with him back on whatever "present" time is. In this case, approximately 5 weeks before the blast.
|
|
|
|
If that's true then please explain why his watch was wrong and he had no american money and no passport.

What I meant earlier was that basically, Hiro can superimpose himself on other times of his life. He traveled himself to New York, as the comic book reveals. Apparently, it took 5 weeks. And the ladies' bathroom? He just ran in and skipped the action. That's why it seemed like instant teleportation.

Also, it might be good if you could take Ando-san through a time freeze with you. You might want to try it out some time.

Hello my friend. I have given alot of thought to your powers and this is what i've come up with in-so-far as your teleportation is concerned. Time and Space are interlinked but CAN be seperated. Atleast in theory. You focused on a particular place but went "fast forward" instead of simply moving your body. Try not only focusing on the PLACE you want to go, but also the TIME. Like in stargate. You need to dial a given location, but instead of just needing a destination address, you also need a timestamp.
Just a thought. Oh, and as everyone else here as said:
You. So. Rock.

Ah Back to the future one of my favourite movies as a kid.
As for fighting. I would think it depends on how drastic you want to go. In World of Warcraft I play a Rogue that stuns the target (similar to freezing time) And I can beat the crap out of them until it wears off. Freeze time and find something to hurt them with, or carry a gun. Freeze and entangle them if you don't want to hurt them.
|
|
|
|
Be patient and practice, like everyone says! I think you have a lot of potential Nakamura-san. Just keep trying to do what's right. You know where you have to go!

You are awsome Hiro!!! When I watch the episodes, I just wait around until your story line comes up again. It's the most interesting story line.
To raise your XP and MP, just keep practicing your time travel. Don't worry about not knowing how to fight, having the ability to freeze time is the best fighting weapon you could ever wish for. Because if you could freeze time, it means you are moving faster than the speed of light.
Therefore, you can freeze time and smash a table on their bodies or remove their head from the body (via "Highlander" stlye) before time resumes again. You can't be stopped Hiro.
Be careful of the Las Vegas chick... I think she's one of the bad guys.

Hi Hiro, you need to practice and master your powers. You have discovered four so far!
1) Move time backwards
2) Move time forward
3) Freeze time
4) Teleportation
Those are very powerful abilities and you can use them to defend yourself. Stay away from the darkside, for they have mind-bending powers. Follow your instincts and master your skills! May the force be with you. ~Nik

At the risk of saying something someone else has already, or popping a bubble or two, your power isn't to travel through time, if I am correct. I believe that it's actually the power to fast-forward/rewind/pause your life. Sort of like a tv remote control. It would explain the time-traveling.

Hey, Hiro...
the blond chick in Vegas that Ando likes so much. She's your fighting sidekick! She's your Goku to Bulma. That's what her violent other side is for only you have to rescue her first. And I'm probably wrong but I bet her son probably read Suresh's book and can tell you about genetic theroy stuff.
Anyways, about star trek and time continum thing...do you realize that you caused her accident? The little girl in the red bow. she was a great actress though.

My MP takes forever to regen as well! My quick-cast skill is low.. Luckily I'm good at throwing things or else I'd be in a bind during random encounters! (^_^;)
Did you hear 'let it ride' in Vegas? I only know it's a poker game, but I'm sure someone else could help you..
Don't waste too much time on casino games, Hiro-san! You have to save the world!

In my experience with most comic book characters there more they use them the stronger thier powers become much stronger. You just got to give it time. Which you seem to have plenty of heh. You are living the comic book life its only a matter if time until you will become stronger and figure these things out it takes a great game to go prepared and you have help from your strategy guide. stick to the your plan andd what you have learned from your life lessons.

Keep practicing Hiro! In my gaming experences, its the best way to level up. And unless you do find that lightsaber, it may be the ONLY way to level up.
Also, Don't lose all your cash in Vegas! Everything is a scam there. >_

Hey Hiro, I think it's realy cool that you plai Chrono Trigger and watch DBZ but when are you going to encounter your Magus? I hope you don't get pwned.... maybe you can perform a double tech with Ando-san? or a triple tech with some other people!? I hope you lvl up and maybe you should try grinding your teleport? or your time freeze...
you should try yelling something heroic next time you time freeze... like dio saying Za Waurdo

The only way to increase your skills are to continously use them. There is no other way than that. And also, in order to obtain another issue of the comic, you must go into the future again, and see if the same newstand has a different version now. The reason I suggest this is because now that you have saved a little girls life, the 'Butterfly Effect' of your actions may possibly reach around to the comic author in NY and he may have a different comic on the stands. So go into future and find out before next weeks, um...episode...heh heh.

A. Whatch out for american people, some are after people with special powers.
B. LIFE IS NOT A VIDEOGAME! you said so yourself and never to pick up weapons, so dont be stupid to think so and just letting things go their own way.
C. Follow any lead you got on the sexy women called niki your friend so much adores.
D. Save more people but don't gain to much attention with that.
E. You Rock.

I'm sorry I don't play games like that, so I can't give you much advice on how to fight an enemy. My only idea is this - besides freezing time and running away, if you HAVE to confront the enemy, maybe freeze time over their eyes or tie their arms or legs together.
BUT - this is my other advice. I think thinking of your powers in terms of video games is a really useful way to get used to them and explore them. But you need to remember that you are NOT a video game, Hiro-san. This is real life. So unexpected things can and will always happen. Like another commenter said, there are no turns. And there will not be a pre-specified set of steps to take in a certain order to stop this nuclear attack. But hey, maybe this is also good? Because that means there are countless ways to stop it if you can only figure them out.
Also, please be careful with your friend Ando-san. I know you need him for translation and the support of a friend, but isn't it always the lesser or no powered sidekick who is captured, to slow the hero down? I'm not saying you should be inhuman and forget him, but the opposite. Just be careful and always watch him to make sure he is not in trouble. If you have an enemy he may go after Ando-san first, not you, because you are special and harder to catch.
As for Let it Ride, I'm a native English speaker and even I didn't know that one! But a quick Google search brings up results pertaining to both horse racing and poker. If you pass through Las Vegas maybe you can ask someone in a casino, I'm sure they'd know. But be careful not to start gambling away your money, you have things to do and can't be distracted too much in 'Sin City' (that's what they call it, haha).
That's all I can think of to say this time. Until we meet again, がんばって!

Keep in mind, Hiro, that if you do encounter an enemy, it's going to be in "real time". No one is going to wait for your turn. Maybe you don't have a useful weapon or the right skills, but you can always outsmart them. Freezing them and running will certainly confuse them.
Just do yourself a favor and be careful. New York, and the world, depends on you.

Hiro! You are awesome!
"Let it ride," in general conversation, means to leave things as they are, not changing the situation. However, you are in Las Vegas, and in a betting situation, "let it ride" means to let your previous bet stand in the next round.
Good luck out there!

Hello Hiro!
See if maybe you can trasfer some skill points, or maybe find an accessory that will increaser your MP.
As for let it ride? It's an expression as noted above. It's also a type of card game in casinos.
Let It Ride is a casino variation of poker, played against the casino rather than against the other players. It's sort of like five card stud where the player wagers on a poker hand of three cards in the player's hand and two "community cards" in the dealer's hand. Like in video poker, the payout is determined by the ranking of the player's hand and the payout schedule.

すみません、ひろさんーー
"Let it ride" is an idiom that means to let something (or a situation) go without interference... It doesn't really have anything to do with rodeos 6(^_^;)
I guess now you're in America, you'll be missing the new anime now... (>.>)
well, I guess saving the world's way more important. (^_^)b
Good luck finding a light saber!!!

Hiro! Good to hear from you!
"Let it ride," means to let a previous bet continue, making the situation take on higher stakes. And out of curiosity, you should check out evilavatar.com. Y'know, if 'you' have time.

Hiro I love you. Marry me! I digress.
Your best bet in a fight would be to freeze time and run like heck til you meet up with some fighters. Or if you're fighting multiple enemies you can freeze time and then reposition them to hit each other when time resumes. You really need to meet up with Claire. She can shield you while you manipulate the environment.

がんばれ!Remember, you can use slowerga as well! Not to mention haste! Now that I think about it, if you can master your timefreeze, theoretically that means you can teleport without having to move in time as well! すげえ~~!まじでかっこいいし。Anyways, be on your journey Master Jedi and may the force be with you!
