How does one go about auditioning for the show Heroes or its spin-off Origins? This show is by far amazing!

first of all,has peter finally got his own power?
i was so happy that heroes delivered last night! what is the deal with parkman and his wife? is kristen bell going to be a permanent castmate? i would love to see her own heroes. she is one of my favorite actresses! since there is another person that can fly,is something going to happen to nathan? i hope nothing happens to him,because he's one of my favorite characters on heroes.
glad to see that peter is not dead! is there going to be a love interest for peter this season? i have too many questions,but i love that heroes is back! can't wait to enjoy this season!

Is Claude returning and if so can we expect him to have a larger role this season?

Dear Mr. Kring and Mr. Coleman,
Congratulations on last nights' episode of Heroes. It's good to have it back. I have just one complaint - the Irish accents. I am an Irish woman born and bred and found them appalling. Seriously, they rival only that of Tom Cruise in Far and Away as the worst I've heard. A little disappointing from a top notch show. Good luck with the rest of the season, don't worry I'll watch despite the accents!

Ali is great! I hope you won't make her part smaller, now with the new faces this season and PLEASE don't kill her off!

Adrian is great. I hope you're not shafting him aside just because there are some new characters. Please give Nathan some interesting stories this season.

When's Kristen Bell and the other new castmates going to be on? Is Bell going to be a regular? Pls. make her a mainstay on the show!

What I love about this show is the multiracial cast. Keep up the good work and more power!

GREAT show! I was pleasantly surprised to see that Claire is not taking this "being a robot" lying down, and is anxious to be herself, makes for a fun story, will she or won't she get found out!(insert mysterious noise here) I never thought sylar was really dead,and I saw him on the preview for next week! I wish you would have offed him though. He's so MEAN! lol

In response to the question: "Why can't Peter use more than one power at a time", the answer is he CAN. In the episode where they travel into the future, when we see Peter "rescue" Hiro and Ando, he similtaneously uses both his power to freeze and power to move objects (he freezes everybody and moves the police aside at the same moment).

congratulations on the second season of Heroes! This is now my #1 show, since LOST isn't starting again until February! I joined 9th Wonders also. Looking forward to next week.:)

OH man I'm SO glad HEROES is back! I'm among the the huge following yaw have made since this show started. I watched 24 and Heroes. But someone thought they could drag me away when they put 24 on at the sametime.....NOPE!! Yaw picked up right where you left off and I bet EVERYONE was shocked to see that swordsman was....english?? I'd say that was the biggest twist of the new season. Wonder if I can hang on fro a week.....not sure, but I'll try.

Ok, I came away confused after watching tonight's premiere. Ugh!!!

First off, me and my friends really love your show, and talk about it alongside our favorite comics. Geeky as it is, we noticed a LOT of ironic parallels, or rather inverses between this show and Marvel comics. I mean, obviously there are going to be similarities, but at some points, it seems as if you took a Marvel character, and made your parallel character the EXACT OPPOSITE. It's pretty funny, and great fun for us. I wanted to point out a few obvious ones, like Shadowcat, a small teenage white girl being a 6'2" tough, married black man.
Wolverine, the muscled canadian badass has become a suburban cheerleader.
Rogue, the outcast girl with contact issues is Peter Petrelli, the twitchy brother of a politician who can absorb powers from a radius.
Iliana Rasputin the teleportress and time traveler with a soul-sword is Hiro, a little japanese man from an office.
Those are just a few examples we could think of right off-hand, so feel free to look these characters up if you haven't heard of them.
Anyway, i guess my question is, how have you guys NOT gotten sued yet? Also, do you do some of them on purpose, or are they awesome coincidences?

Also, to the guy who said "I don't think anyone can really compare Heroes to X-Men because Heroes are about REAL people with REAL life problems." I have one question for you.
Have you ever READ X-men?!
There's all kinds of real issues involved, which is how they relate to people enough to gain such a following.
Anyway, awesome job with the show, keep it up, and I hope to see good things this season.

I love Heroes! It's such a great show, just wanted to say that first.
Secondly, for Tim, how did you ever come up with a story like Heroes? Some of these plots are just so amazing and so intriguing!
Also, why is the "God's Send" symbol on everything? From Jessica's tatoo last season, to Molly's drawings in tonight's episode. How is it connected to the heroes of the show?
OH! One more thing! Are you guys going to do another World Tour next summer?? I wanted to go to NYC this year to meet up with the cast, but couldn't. Will I get a chance to next year?

oh, yeah. i lauged my ass off when i saw noah at a "paper factory"- good one.

I am in love with this show. To be honest I was a little unfulfilled after the season finale of season one. Yet this season premiere has more than made up for it. My mind is spinning in so many directions right now. I literally get shivers during the show. I can't wait to see how the story unravels.

Everyone on this team from the Director to the D.P to the cast and crew are doing a phenomenal job. Keep it up! You'll be sure to have my attention every Monday at 8p.m

INCREDIBLE SHOW!!!! I have been a die hard fan of 24 for the last six seasons. It was the only show that I would go out of my way to watch ... your show has now become my new #1 show.

Great character development, great story telling, and great emotional involvement. You really like and get attached to these characters.

Season 1 was a great thrill ride. I can't wait to see what is in store for season 2.

PS on the DVD's you were concerned about the "terrorist" stuff that was in the original pilot ... HEY you are opposite the ultimate Terrorist show 24 ... also for continuity ... in season 1 all of the precog blasts occurred during the day and when it actually went down at Kirby Plaza it was at night :)

I have to admit that I started watching the shows first season because a person I knew was in it. He the other actors and the show itself kept me glued to the tube every Monday since. Thanks Jack, your doing great, as is the rest of the cast.

First, can I just say that you were totally badass this episode, and it was a great return to some old-school HRG. But seriously, how do you feel Noah has changed as a characters and how do you think his relationship with Claire will be affected with both of them still lying to each other? Also, will we be seeing more interaction with your character and Mohinder this season?

Will we find out some more of the back story of the previous generation of heroes this season?

How can Someone like me find out about an open cast call for the greatest show like yours. Most people use this time to comment on the show but i have no comments. Just that i feel your power may be originality. So How would someone find out when and where and if there is an open casting call? I belong to Aftra Union and i do have experience. I'll practically work for you for free because i have a passion for your show. Somewhere in my mind I want to actually believe there are heroes out there and sometimes i have the feeling that there is a special path for me. I believe it starts with your show. Thanks for such an awesome show. I have been waiting all summer for the fall shows to return, but especially Heroes. I have butterflies in my stomach right now!!

One comment I do have is that I'm loving all the new characters but we need MORE HRG and Mohinder characters aka characters WITHOUT abilities! I love how they play into the stories.

I also hope we get to see some of the old "morally gray" of the HRG we've grown to love. He'll always be HRG to me =)

Mr. Kring: Thank you for showing the mainstream audience that the idea of superhumans in a show does NOT have to involve tights and capes!

I wondered whether the "Person worse than Sylar" that Molly referred to at the end of season 1 would be a potential focus on this season's arc?

Do you ever plan to explain what Charles' power was, or might we see him again in more of Peter's dreams, since he seems to communicate through them, potentially?

For Mr. Coleman: If you were to guess, will Noah go back to his old ways, or will he get closer to being the conductor of the "Genetic-Railroad" we saw in the alternate future "Five Years Gone"?

Also, would you like to see a long-arc nemesis for Noah at some point? Not necessarily someone in The Company, but a long-term nemesis Noah can't just "HRG" his way through. (HRG being a verb I created meaning total intellectual domination with plan-execution efficiency.)

The man can clean up 99.9% of messes as though he had a Delorean with a flux capacitor and already did it before, so I'm hoping he has to deal with someone -it would be really interesting if they were just a normal human- that will make him have to stretch his abilities.

EXCELLENT episode! I was laughing, crying, cheering, and shrieking in disbelief for pretty much the full hour. I can't wait until the next episode!

Jack, how much fun was it to do that "Beat up the weasely manager in the break room" scene? Because I've got to tell you, you got a standing ovation from me. The number of times I'd have loved to do that in my work history... If I had a penny, I'd be a rich woman. LOL!

Also, I've got to give props to that scene around the dinner table with the Butler (nee Bennet) family. The camera work was fabulous, and the twin expressions of guilt on Claire and Noah's faces as they each talked about their supposed "under the radar" days were absolutely hysterical. HOORAY for the Family Bennet, and HOORAY for a brand new season!

Well, even after the first show, ou've grabbed me for the season!!! How do you do it?

What is the deal with the Haitian Sensation that is sweeping the Nation? First, he is working for HRG, then working against him, but is actually working for Mama Petrelli, who last time I checked, is kind of evil. Basically, will we find out what his true allegiance is this season?

Jack, I am a fan of your nuanced performance and I enjoy straight faced comedy act in addition to the dramatic perofrmance.

Tim, I am always a fan but unfortunately I may not be off each Monday to watch the show. I wonder if the series is going to be on Xbox Live since I want to watch each episode on HD. I totally dig your smuggler angle because it brings into an issue that is overlooked in our traditional media.

I wonder if there is going to be a bit more comedic re;lief into the show, like a joke character ala comics Deadpool. The Kensai angle is just brilliant. Keep up the good work Team Heroes and I hope I get enough room and money for an HD-DVD player.

Congrats on the new season, you guys are off to an exciting start. I became a huge fan of heroes from episode 1. The instant success of this show is no surprise. I was wondering if you guys would be interested in possibly dedicating an episode to a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization called childhood cancer society. It is a new organization that has been growing rapidly, like your series, but could use a helping hand in spreading the word. This organization is based in the tri-state area, but is trying to expand nationally to help families afflicted with childhood cancer. This organization is young, and appears to have a perception that is parallel to the global views that define "Heroes". Your series shows that anyone can be a hero, no matter their age or experience. I'm in agreement with the first comment about NBC. My local broadcaster has elected to show the Aints game instead of the most anticipated season premier of the year. Even though the Aints game is also being broadcast on ESPN! This is CRAP! I've got to wait until Saturday the 29th! Fuming MAD!!!!

Alright, I'm dying inside - whtthfxup with Peter?! But aside from the obvious questions, there are a few I'd like to ask in serious sincerity about the show and the process of the show/the new season.

So, first question - Mr. Kring: in creating Heroes, did you start with a world-concept or just one character, and if so, which?

To Mr. Coleman,
Your character expresses a wonderful range of emotion and motives. What direction is he really coming from, and is there anything that will leave us saying "Okay, THAT kicked ass" about him?

What is going on with NBC???? The season premiere was supposed to start 45 minutes ago. Where is it? Why is the Saints game on, instead??!!!! Last week, NBC screwed up The Biggest Loser, and we didn't get to see the last 30 minutes. I had to wait and look online to see who was eliminated. What's going on?!?! Do they want people to watch, or not? There's not even a way to email NBC about the problem.

Someone can already fly, creat some new powers for new characters, otherwise great show! and did peter use nikki's power to save him and nathan? Great season premiere though, didn't really get too interesting until the last 15 minutes though.

GREAT SHOW by the way Mr. Kring. I am not one who watches television, but once I rented disc 1 of Season 1 discs, I became addicted and could not stop watching them. I suddenly became a couch potato and watched the whole season within a week, and now I only watch television for this show.

Q: If Peter has the ability to absorb the powers of the heroes around him, how come there is evidence of him observing the all of the powers that Sylar has? Besides for telekinesis.

I noticed that you may use "super powers" to explain amazing historical feats - possibly like Takezo Kensei. Haven't seen the remainder of the show yet. But, it is a curious and interesting idea. Will you also visit past legendary historical evens like Camelot? Will you be able to segue into more fantasy oriented stories that include dragons and middle earth? You've done such a fantastic job so far of leaving the spectrum open for such things. I look forward to seeing where you go with it. Congratulations! And PLEASE - Bring some kick-ass strong female characters into the mix besides Nikki. She's getting a bit boring really. I'd like to see where you go with Hannah maybe. Good luck!

Is there any way a talented writer, willing to work up from the bottom could find a place in your production? I had been developing a concept entitled 'Real life Super hero,' which obviously had to be scrapped after you aired. Will we ever find out who the villain is that Molly is so afraid of? Or do we have to keep our brains busy wondering about this other terrible villain?

Will we also ever find out what Sylar does exactly with the brains of the victims he steals the powers of? He has to do something special with the brain to keep steal the powers from, but what exactly is it what he has to do with it?

Question for Mr. Coleman:

Your character has been down some evil paths most of seaosn 1, but then became good near the end of season 1. Is there anything you would like to see happening to your character?

The only regret I have is that the Saints came has preempted the season premiere. When will it be posted on NBC’s website?

The policeman wants to be a detective which involves trying to figure out what suspects are thinking – he gets the power of mind-reading. The cheerleader has the role of cheering on a team especially if it is losing the game and needs to be revived – she gets the power of being revived after apparent defeat. The candidate has ambitions to soar in his political career – he flies. His brother looks up to him and wants to be like him – he takes on the powers of others close to him. The mother deals with her dual role of mother and Internet cam-girl – her power involves two personalities. Hiro admires historical figures – he travels through time and space. I know some of these are far-fetched but I can’t help wondering if there is some purpose here.

I'm a Heroes fan from Switzerland and it is probably because of that that my question goes into the same direction as the one from DeusExPeter, but is a bit more specific though.

Since the show has already or will soon air in all of Europe and since the efforts made to advertise this show are comparable with 24 (which was quite a success here), I have no doubts that the show will in short be very popular in many parts of Europe.

Since I’ve already seen season 1 as it aired here earlier this year I have to admit that I was bit disappointed with how very few people actually come from other continents, even though the phenomenon of the so called “genetic change” has been repeatedly quoted as a “worldwide occurrence”. I completely understand, however, that the show has to please an American audience first of all and that there had to be (and was) a decent amount of fan service to make the show gain popularity as quickly as possible in the beginning.
So for my question

QUESTIONS:

As the show will become more popular over time in other countries of the world, would it not be interesting to introduce more characters from those places (as I’m from Europe I would favour this continent most of all, of course, but other places are fine as well)? As some sort of fan service to the people there who are so loyal to your show, if you so want. : )
Or will that not be possible because of certain production constraints?

Your people did some good work with Maya and Alejandro in this direction (I especially like the plot twist that will make them come to the US in order to save the budget costs of having to shot in a foreign country ; ) ). Will there be more “cases” like this from yet other continents as the series proceeds (and I mean in the actual series and not in the online comic)?

And also: would it be ok, if the next contests on your homepage would open the possibility for everyone across the globe to participate? (Personally, it was a bit frustrating to not being able to participate in your comic book contest, but I know that one person’s rant will probably not change that…)
I know this last question is not really related to the actual series, but directed to the merchandise and fan base section. I hope it’s still ok to ask it.

Love this show! It is the best ever! I am a 60 yr old fan in Texas and I love discussing Heroes in the various blogs. I have two questions concerning time travel in our Heroes world. 1) Do the writers have a specific way in which they visulize it working, what the rules of travel are and rules of what controls the rifts or non-rifts? 2) I understand from an interview that I read that there will be something in Season Two where we will see how things done in one time (Hiro in feudal Japan) will affect another time (our heroes in the four months after the explosion). So is this true and will that help explain the rules of this fantastic ability?

Hello, I was wandering if you get frequent comparisons to USA networks 4400, I love both shows. However I believe the character development in Heroes has more meat to it. How do you continue to develop the characters that keep us watching. With that being said Mr. Coleman will we be getting a glimpse into your past this season, where did you come from and will your former employers have a storyline this season. I love Niki as any red blooded man would. Please tell us if one of the main characters will be killed off any time soon. If so don't let it be her she kicks butt.

This is by far the best show that I have ever watched. I want to thank Tim Kring for being so creative and the people who come up with the shots you use are geniuses. I love everything and I don't think anyone can really compare Heroes to X-Men because Heroes are about REAL people with REAL life problems. For that, this show reasonates within me every time I watch it. It is powerful and wonderful and most of all, I find myself hoping that maybe there is a little HERO in all of us?

As a big fan of Sopranos and 24 i was sceptical about Heroes when i first heard about it. But was soon sucked into it like everyone else. I really hope it dosent become as cheesey as Smallville and as mind boggling as Lost.
Alot of critics of Heroes say there are too many characters to concentrate on, but i think when its written as well as season 1 was introducing many characters is not a problem.

*Q) Did you have to change the directions of storylines much of Season 2 on paper as the fanbase of certain charcters and popularity of the show grew.. ?

Also- In agreement with the past view posts, all development of Zach Quinto's character could only improve with less clothing.

When will we find out the significance of the Helix symbol and the Eclipse to the characters? I hope there is a good explanation for these things that keep appearing on the show!

I am quite curious for an answer to that last question in regards to Sylar and Mohinder as well. The chemistry between both characters was remarkbly strong last season, so I sincerely hope we'll get to see more of the exploration of their relationship in the upcoming season. Clothing optional.

Since your character's and Thompson's job positions are open at Primatech, will we see new management? Who founded Primatech, and why? What will Noah be busy doin' - will he be looking for a new job for parts of a few episodes?

Like Hopper, I am very excited about your upcoming rallying of the Wonderers for change. As what happens with many things I become involved in, Heroes is a force that has taken a large place in my life. But there's something that is different about Heroes. The something I sense is at the heart of what the show is about. As you and others who work on Heroes know, Heroes is not like any other show. There's just something special to it, something different that separates it from other shows, other phenomenons. There's the story, the plotlines, the connections, the message, but then there's a different approach being made by the staff that creates Heroes. The whole thing, even from the fan's vantage point, looks organic, authentic, and pure. With every day, I find just another reason to love the show or the people associated with the show (and a lot of this has to do with buckshotwon, I gotta say. He's helped a great deal in helping the fans be happy during hiatus.)

The bottom line for me is, when so much goodness has been given to me as what has been given with Heroes, I feel a strong urge to give something back. Heroes can be more than just a show: it can change the world and I want to help.

First off, this is the most amazing show! I have a "Heroes" wall in my room with all of the magazine covers and picture from magazines of the cast. I've also made collages of stills from episodes.
I was wondering if this season there will be heroes world wide and not just in the U.S.? I know that Hiro wasn't in the U.S. at first, but he then came. I was wondering if a any charcters will have their complete storyline in somewhere other than the U.S.?
There should also be another charcter from TX or bring Claire back to TX! I was so happy last season when they had a charcter living in TX but they didn't make her seem all country hick-ish(If you can't tell, I live in TX!).

The SARMY was formed by a group of Sylar/ZachQuinto fans, a website was set up and an online merchandise store -with net proceeds of sales going to charity- was established. Is it safe to look forward to seeing anything about the previous generation of Heroes, like Mr. and Ms. Petrelli, Kaito Nakamura, and Linderman? When the first season ended, one of the things I was definently looking forward to was seeing these people in flashbacks and such. Can you say if this is going to happen?

I'm really excited about the premiere of season 2 on Sept. 24th. I really love how the show has been show far and look forward to seeing what happens next. I'm pretty confident it'll be extraordinary as usual. Keep it up. :)

Here are some questions:
1. Can we expect more sci-fi or comic-book references or allusions this season? Can you hint at any of them if so? Is it possible that the word "spoon" will be said in the show, possibly as a nod to the Tick's battle cry, as was done in one of Hiro's blogs.

2. What can we expect from the Alternate Reality Game this season? Will we have more challenging puzzles to solve, like last season? Those were pretty fun. :)

3. Can you tell us about any major changes in the plan for the story from last season? Did the season end similar to how it was originally envisioned?

4. Can we expect more blogs like this in the near future? I really appreciate this opportunity you guys are presenting.

Hi Guys! I freaking love this show. I watched the dvd with my sisters, and now i have them hooked! Now we are looking forward to monday, and having a little party of our own!

I do have a question though. Will there ever be a
Canadian hero? I know Tim Kring said something about Peter may end up in a popular city in Canada, but will there be one from here?

Will we ever find out what happened to Papa Petrelli?

Will we ever find out why the previous generation of heroes had a falling out?

Will someone from the five years gone timeline ever visit the present timeline other than Hiro?

Other than the virus that Mohinder speaks of, Sylar, the Company, and the unnamed villain that can see Molly is there anything else that would force the Heroes to collaborate or see each other again?

You’ve said before that you have enough material for 5 seasons. Will each season or “volume” lead up to a bigger picture the way multiple storylines lead up to the season finale?

Can’t wait for Monday.

First off, thanks for providing us with this great show! I'm excited to see what you wanna share with us this year!

And here are some questions...

First, will you and others visit and interact with the fans at 9thWonders? Other fansites that might like a shout-out are HEROES-TV.com, HEROESTheSeries.com, and the forum at buddytv... When will we learn your ideas about how to help make the world a better place? Will it mostly involve the Conservation Fund, like Evan Almighty's Almight Forest (http://getonboardnow.org, and trivia - I donated and got the first tree of the first forest of the first island...)?

Anyway, here are some questions about next season... What will we learn about the HEROES Helix Symbol? What is its origin? What kinda of "teaser-y" tidbits will you share in this blog on Monday? For instance, will the "Shanti virus" (or something like it) be a threat to the HEROES this season? Will Mohinder get funding for research from the Deveaux Society, or will some other organization, like Primatech, the Yamagato Fellowship, or the Linderman Group help him out? Or will he get help for research from someplace we (the fans) don't know about yet?

Well, thanks again for interacting with the HEROES fans! When does this ride start? :D
