More Strong Female Heroes?

Tim: Yes, there's a crop of them as a matter of fact! Tonight's episode had Maya played by Dania Ramirez, who is going to have to be tested as a hero in order to overcome the obstacles that she faces. The other is Monica played by Dana Davis who is introduced in episode 4 and many of you know that we just signed Kristen Bell to be on our cast as well, so look forward to her playing a very interesting, delicious character.

I think 5 new character.

I don't agree with zeta. I think a character can be strong in many ways. I wonder if any of us who sit behind computers typing senseless comments could be as strong as that.

Sorry Mr. Kring, but Maya? NOT a strong female character. She's on the run. She is accosted by men clearly looking to violate her. She is implicated as the cause of countless deaths. And the only way she can keep from accidentally killing people is by the assistance of her brother.

Conflicted, yes. I'll give you that. Interesting? Marginally. But Maya is NOT the strong female character your female viewers have been waiting for. But hey, she's not blonde, either. Kudos to you on that one at least.

When we say we want a "strong female character" we mean we want a female HERO. A woman who uses her powers to benefit others (like Peter, Hiro, Matt, and in some respects Mohinder). Thus far the female characters have all been objects for saving or in some way villainous.

Personally, I'm hoping that maybe Monica or Yaeko will show more promise. But I'm not holding my breath.

Yay delicious! I have a good feeling about Kristen's character already.

We don't need any more females! I'm okay with all the hotties!~

who is the most serious on set?

Will there be any more Heroes 360 things this season? Like the sites that popped up last year. (i.e. votepetrelli.com, primatechpaper.com, etc.)

How many new characters are there going to be this season?
