Will there be less gaps between shows?

Tim: Interesting that someone brings this up, cause that was our thinking as well. One of the things that Heroes does... as you notice Volume 2 started the end of tonight's episode, but by no means does Volume 2 have to be the entire length of Season 2. In fact, don't expect it to. It will end sometime in the middle of the season, wrapping up a story with it that will allow us to launch into a new storyline.

Carrying a long storyline over the course of one season can get very cumbersome and complicated for the writers and audience, so breaking it into smaller storylines will allow new viewers to join without feeling like they've missed too much story.

First off, Tim thank you for the best show this season. Every Tuesday morning when I go to work everyone is talking about Monday nights episode. I can't wait to see where next season will go. So many things left to figure out it makes us wanting more. Great Job! To Hayden, you are am amazing actress, you play your part with total conviction. The whole show is full of amazing talent. What is it like to work with such amazing people.

That's a good idea to cut the season in half or so because I wanted to get into Heroes earlier in the season; however, it confused me a lot when I jumped in the middle, so I waited until these past few days to get caught up in time for the finale. (It was amazing fun to do that, though, so I'm not complaining!)

If you ever get to this question, here it is: How did Peter jump back in time to when Simone's dad was still alive? That entire scene...could we get an explanation on how that came about?

So basically the show is being written as if it's a book.

One chapter after the other is a very interesting take on writing a show. I like that idea, though, because it's not set in stone on how long each storyline has to be unlike any other television show focusing around one thing all season.

With the end of volume 1, is this the last we've seen of Sylar? Of Peter?

What was the closure?

So are all the volumes going to have the same characters? Or will some have a group of characters and other volumes have other groups?

With a show that has so many "lead characters" how do you balance screentime? Does fan appeal play into this decision at all?

So the big question is, do you have a timeline that says about the time Season two is supposed to start?

that's totally true about the new storyline thing. a couple people i know don't want to watch the season finale cause they're too scared they're going to be lost.

is the second volume going to mostly be based on the generations or are we going to be going between generations and present?

Here was a better ending I made in my theory.

I believe the season will end with New York exploding. Peter's vision will come true in a sense. The slow mo shot we saw where everyone runs to him will be the same. But if you notice Simone is in it and she is now dead. So that can only mean that Simone is Candice Wilmer. She doesn't just shape shift but like Mysterio creates illusions. Candice will create the illusion that Peter "saved" New York by controlling his powers. Then our Heroes will be whisked away by Swat Team or Police and evacuated. Once outside New York Peter will see a giant mushroom cloud (like 24 Jack Bauer) and realize the Nuclear Man did explode. Candice tricked them and Nuclear Man remained to explode somewhere (possibly against his will) all because of Linderman. He wants NY to explode so he can profit off it's reconstruction and put options. The scheme is similar to that of Le Chiffe in Casino Royale (2006). So that's my theory on the end.
