Will Claire and Peter find out they're not related...?

Hayden: I keep getting these questions, Tim. Someone keeps asking when Peter and Claire are going to get together.

Tim: I will just say this. I want all those fans out there who want this to happen to keep one thing in mind. Claire is 17 years old and Peter is somewhere... let's say in his mid 20s, maybe late 20s. .And so I want everyone to bare that in mind and think about that.

Hayden: You're crushing peoples' dreams.

Tim: But Claire may be 18. Who knows? Maybe we'll find out that when she was handed over by Hiro's father that she was older.

Hayden: What's creepier? The fact that he's mid 20s and I'm 17, or that he's my uncle?

Tim: Both.

Hayden: We'll have to do some crazy dream sequence.

Tim: That's right. Maybe there's a dream sequence.

I watch Heroes only because of Peter/Claire scenes and my hope of Kring unrelating them. Just unrelate them and show will be 100% perfect! The most of the show's fans are Paire shippers. It's unnormal for uncle and niece to have such a chemistry!

I bet the old lady Petrelli is just manipulating Claire/Peter/Nathan by making them 'think' Claire's related. Then she can watch Claire and control her emerging powers.

I was so upset when I found out Claire and Peter were related. Come on! They are so prefect for each other, the chemistry between them is striking! Hell, they have on of the biggest fan bases, and they should defiantely be together.

As for the age difference, Peter is 26 (said in "Godsend") and Claire should be turning 18. That's not even 10 years apart, my parents are 12 years apart and they have never had a problem with the age difference. It isn't creepy and people seriously need to stop thinking thats gross. Age doesn't matter when two people are in love.

honestly, anyone who jumps into the show assumes that Claire and Peter are a couple or should be. It is so obvious! they are so perfect together!he clearly cares more about her than anyone else even Nathan. so please please please make them not related somehow.

as for the creepiness factor, I think it will not be so bad if a) it's not explicit (like Maya/Mohinder...yeesh, that was a bit much...), b/c we're just looking for romance here and also b) maybe Claire should make the first move? that would help.

You know, as a Paire fan, it's enough for me to just have them UNRELATED. They don't even have to get together in the end (although that would be great if the timeline had forwarded 5 years or something).

Just give us the POSSIBILITY that they CAN get together. Making them related totally negates that. The age-thing I can live with since that is a temporary situation. We can look toward the future to base our hopes. But Peter-Claire related...well, that's permanent.

Just give me hope Kring. That's all I ask.

I loooove this show! I, too, was disappointed when it was revealed they were related. I would have really loved it if they had become very good friends and then once Claire had graduated from high school, a romantic relationship had developed.

I would love it if it turned out they were not truly related.

Well... I'm french and I've just begun watching "Heroes" and I love it for the moment! I don't think age difference is an important probleme, my father is 12 years older than my mother and they are still together^^
The real problem is that uncle thing... Couldn't you find something to change this? Now that you know we are so many people out there hoping that will happen one day... I'm so used being disappointed by scenario writers, you could really make the difference Tim! I know you're different! And you're really talented! I would of loved Peter/Claire. There is so much chemistry there. I say do a dream sequence and then keep them in scenes together. Their relationship is special no matter if it's romantic or platonic.

I also adore the chemistry and potential between Claire and her two dads: Noah and Nathan. Hope both relationships develop and continue

I'm displeased. Before you go using an age difference as a disqualifyer for romance, consider that your viewers may be in an age disparate relationship, or have family members that are.

If you want a passable defence against the Peter/Claire fans, go with the "her father is his brother" thing. (Of course, you could change that eventually.) But this is 2007. Claire is going to grow up as the show goes on, and you're going to lose the age defence.

In 90% of places on the planet Claire would be past the age of consent, in Europe its 16 as a rule (some places 15) - ah you moan its illegal where you live - well so is killing - no wait, you haven't killed anyone have you - this is make belief! Also, your mind is in the gutter - who said anything about sex? People talk about ROMANCE - which doesn't need to involve the physical (at first at least - "We'll wait for each other")

I like Peter/Niki. I think they have a lot of chemistry together. As for Claire, she should get someone closer to her own age. However, the trick is to cast someone who's likeable.

You know, Peter and Claire have major chemistry, and it's so unlike that of a niece and uncle like that it's unbelievable. I have heard numerous accounts of people casually watching Heroes and seeing Peter and Claire interact and ask the regular viewer watching when are Peter and Claire going to hook up. After the told they are uncle and niece, the casual viewer called it "creepy". Also, the reaction to all the other women that Peter has been with (Simone and Niki/Jessica) was dismal. And, during the Heroes hiatus they were said to be one of the most popular couples among the youth demographic, so I think it would be in the interest of the show to take advantage of that. NBC actually had a poll at the end of the year asking for your favorite potential couple, and Paire was the only choice from Heroes. It didn't win, but it was pretty popular. I think that says a lot.

The teen thing gets dry and makes it to jr. maybe she falls for some guy at university that is hot but evil. and Milo has to inter fear with the relationship like a big bro protecting her. Who knows. It's great how it was Claire's humanity and passion, and not her power that ended up saving New York City. Hayden, you were really great in the last two episodes. I hope we will get to see you in Volume Two.

That scene with Peter visiting the past was very intriguing. I can't recall, other than the alternate future episode, did Peter absorb and use Hiro's power? If not, why not?

1. Why did Mr. Petrelli commit suicide? As we know, he had depression and his life had been ruined when Austin (Linderman) claimed Mr. Petrlli lied. But later, Linderman came back and Mr. Petrelli and him resolved the issue……so why the suicide?

2. Who was the plumber sent by, if Primatech / the OWI had already sent Eden McCain / Sarah Ellis?

3. Where did Claude go, and is he coming back?

4. Why does Sylar need Mohinder and “The List”??? In Episode 3, when Mohinder went to Sylar’s apartment, he sees that Sylar HAS a map that has MORE specials then Chandra’s did. So why does he need Mohinder?

5. If Sylar takes Peter’s power, does Sylar get the ability to absorb powers, or ALL of the abilities Peter previously absorbed or BOTH?

6. Why did Primatech / the OWI only take Nathan at the hotel in Episode 4? Mr. Bennet says, “Just take the one.”, which means he KNEW Niki was a special as well…so why not both?
