I think you both already know it but there's a lot of fans everywhere in the world hoping Claire and Peter will be unrelated because there so much chemistry between them... So my question is: can we still hope? Are our dreams hopeless?

hey my names chris just wanna say i love the show . cant get enough of it :}.. but if any one thats connected to the show reads this i just have an idea for the second season.. maybe there could be a boy that has the power to generate a black hole..???...what i mean is like,a black hole can suck the matter out of anything even light its self a make it into energy..there could be a boy the can do that...and sence nothing can destroy a black hole the boy would be mostly inprenitable(yeah i think i spelled that wrong) and thats what{sence sylar got away in the frist season at the end) thas what he wants..he doesnt have to tdo the brain snacher thing so he tries to kill and that the boys power but in doing that makes a mistake and kills the boy uhmm..should i say lover..or partner..the boy come home to find he lover dead on the ground and..well does the cry thing then gets pissed and wants blood.{figurtivly speeking}.but claire and..if peters still alive..{cuz of the hole regenterating thing}
already know about it cuz peters little second sight power..and tries to stop it from happening..but in tring to stop the time bomb that is the boy..he get the live sucked out of him"but doesnt die" the boy is able to find sylar now with more power.. and energy.kicks his evil ass but is stop and sylar gets away...and the journey of black hole boy is on....???.... {onces again srry bout the miss spelled words..hope some one out there like the idea..its a good idea..for somthing like the show{and onces agian i ask for nothing in reterne but the fact that it was my idea...ttfn.

Excellent finale, incredible show !
Some points could be improved, like the lack of a good fight in the end. But hey, I still can't compare this series to anything else I have ever seen !

And as for my questions, I do have a few.

1) How could Sylar stop Hiro's power in episode 21 ?
2) Has the man Molly mentioned already appeared on the show ?
3) Will Sylar appear frequently in season 2 ? (If he's still alive, anyway ..)

I would greatly admire a reply on those questions. But I already thank you, for the best show I've seen by far !

I Love Heroes. I really wish the Finale wasn't soon to come. My favorite characters is Claire and Hiro!

The fight could have been much better. I think Nathan and Peter are fine. Peter heals and Nathan probably flew away at the last second. I really hope Sylar is dead. I didn't like they manhole thing. If he does return, I hope it not next season. I'd rather he shows up in a few years when he has assembled his own evil team.

I like Mica and Molly, they were really cute and there was allot of love in the episode which is what the world really needs.

I'm Glad DL is alive. I wonder what Nathan and Peters mother will be up to and I really hope season 2 is not going to be set in 1617. :-)

Thank you for an Awesome show. I will continue to watch every week and can't wait for the DVD release, which I assume will happen.

Great show but I have to make some remarks.

The climax was nice.
Several heroes using their powers, but why not letting them use more of that? It don't has to be like X-man (which I also like :)) but after all they have the powers so Peter could use it against Sylar more.

Is it just me or why do you let a dead body laying on the floor, with cops around you and medical staff?

Why can't Sylar be dead? He hasn't taken the powers from Peter or Claire.

Please don't make this series like Lost. This serie is realy LOST!!!!

Let it be like 24!! :D This serie ends and start over with same people but other topic. This could be for Heroes too. Kill Sylar and start a new adventure for our friends.

There are so many others out there like them who could be villans that you can make a new series on that.

I consider myself to be a big Heroes fan. I watched and enjoyed all the episodes up until now... Last night's episode didn't live up to my expectations though:
First: It was too emotional, even for the "we're all gonna explode/die" scenario. Too many hugs, "I love you"s. It's my personal opinion that you exagerated it... a lot.

Second: What was with the Peter/Sylar confrontation? They accumulated all those powers only to handfight? I was expecting something spectacular, like that last scene from "Five Years Gone". I was very disappointed. And how come all the heroes came to the plaza at the same time: Did they have an appointment or something? Not credible.

Finally: Take Lost's example: They're really ready to kill characters to make the story go forward, even major ones. You, you couldn't even kill DL eventhough he's been shot hours ago. Parkman took 4 bullets to the chest and he still lives! Sylar still lives! What's with the insistance? Kill them already?! Give us a new villain for the new season, the one that Molly mentioned. It certainly sounded good.

Now "Five Years Gone" was a great episode: It was one of the best television shows I have ever seen. But sadly, ever since Five years gone, the show has been going down the hill. Not one of the last 3 episodes could compare to that one. I am disappointed with the finale. But the teaser for next chapter looked good, and I believe you can and will do better, so I'm gonna be here next year.

I love the show but this was the most anticlimactic season finale ever. Very weak battle with Syler.

I am sad to say that I am disappointed. This was the weakest episode of the season.

Ok after reading the other comments I must admit that the writers could have done a lot better with the ending...much better...I think I got carried away with the fact that there was finally a show on American T.V. with a decent beggining, middle, and end. The writers should check out the japanese series Naruto, seasons 3 and 4, for some inspiration on what a story with a trully great battle should look like!

So when did Tim and Hayden ever get on this "exciting live blog"? I think it would have been exciting with them to answer some of the questions, but since they weren't here and people kept asking the same questions, it didn't quite live up to expectations.

After viewing the season finale of Heroes all I can say is Bravo, Bravisimo!!! When the episode ended I actually clapped outloud! Heroes is a television drama that does what many shows have forgotten to do, and that is to give the audience a fantastic story with a beggining, middle, and an end! So many times you just get left hanging without any closure and you end up getting LOST. I have never given any show a standing ovation until now. Keep up the great work Heroes!

I just loved the Show, the entire season was great. This is a show about people, about how they react to what happen to them when they're faced with big challenges, and the fact that they have powers to do something about it.

Just don't hear those who demand more fights and visual effects. I could agree with them maybe in season 3 or 5 when the Heroes start to know their powers better. But for now continue with what you're doing. Sure there has been a couple of little mistakes (like Nathan knowing what Peter said even if he was just coming flying from possibly far away)

but there's impossible to do something without a single flaw (specially when you have millions of people tryiing to find a weak spot)

Heroes has been a great inspiration for me as a writer, i just hope it stays that way.. and please let me know if you have an open spot to work on the writing team.

Like a lot of people I must say that I was highly disappointed with the final episode. For all the build up and anticipation it ranks up there with some of the worst Season Finale's I have seen. Many, many issues put this episode in the garbage. Peter not being able to fly. No great duel between Peter and Sylar. Hiro going through all that training with his father for what - a cheap charge from 30 feet away to stab Sylar, come on. I really feel that the writers had done a spectacular job on the show but that they dropped the ball for the season ender. Also, why the lame excuse for the series long tag line of 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' to come to the point that it was only so she could convince Nathan to care?? That was the best explanation they could creatively think of. If you are going to build up tension then you need to deliver and the season finale did not. I still like the show a great deal but I was really hoping for much better.

My question is "Is Nathan dead?" Some people have confirmed that Adrian Pasdar will be back next season, but this episode seems to indicate otherwise.

I know you are not there anymore but maybe you can answer this later. I'm not sure if anyone has posted this before, but I have noticed for some time that the main heroes' powers often relate to something about their normal lives. First I noticed that a policeman wanting to be a detective would want in interogations to be able to figure out what suspects are thinking. Thus, the policeman has the power of mind-reading. Other heroes (with varying degrees of plausibility of how their powers relate to their lives) are: Peter looks up to and depends on his brother - his powers are dependent on other people. Jessica has a dual life as mother and web-stripper - her power has to do with two sides of a personality. Claire as a cheerleader encourages the team to keep going even if they are being demolished by the other side - her power is to keep going even if she is demolished. Hiro seems to have an interest in historical events - his power is travelling in time and space. Nathan has lofty ambitions - so his power is flying high.
I'm wondering if this is all by accident or purposeful?

I love the show, the characters and the writing to this point have been great. I was a bit disappointed in the ending, kind of anticlimactic for such a great season.

Have you heard of the MMORPG called City of Heroes? You should make a tie in with them and do some online stuff over the summer. I would love to see a Heroes team in the game to fight along side. :)

What was the point of Meredith if Nathan died?? Seems like you could've gave away the whole Nathan is Claire's father thing easier....

I really love the show and have seen every episode at least once. Great to have the shows online and on SciFi while the season progresses. You can gather a much bigger audience that way.

The final fight scene was disappointing. I expected to see more with all the build up. We didn’t get to see Peter come into his own with his powers. All he could do when being choked by Sylar was gasp. And why couldn’t Peter just fly away rather than have Nathan sacrifice himself? I thought we saw future-Peter perform two powers at the same time (maybe that’s just in the future). And since Peter was near Sylar now for the third time, wouldn’t Peter have absorbed all of Sylar’s powers as well. Peter still can’t control his powers very well.

Sylar has always been quicker to use his powers and to be able to use his TK on more than one person at once. He has been a great villain but it would have been better in my mind to have had more people fighting Sylar simultaneously to keep him distracted while Hiro appears and stabs him. You got real close to that with Jessica pounding him with the parking meter but then you had Peter send her away and it was still a one on one fight.
And why wouldn’t Sylar use the metal melt power on the sword? Seems that got missed in the writing. He probably should never have absorbed that one because it left another way open for Sylar to have been able to defeat Hiro’s sword. And why doesn’t anyone notice that Sylar is missing? They have been so focused on stopping him; I don’t think they would have missed him crawling away.

Is Candice dead or just knocked out? What‘s with her shape-shifting and projecting another image of Micah? She never did that before. Will she meet up with Sylar who will kill her and then be able to take on Nathan Petrelli’s shape (Probably not since they all know Nathan’s dead)?

Is Claude ever coming back?
What happened to Claire’s Mom?
Why haven’t we seen other heroes who weren’t involved in the New York scenario?
Could we ever see a casting call for a regular guy or gal in Heroes?

Good luck for next season. Watch out for plot line errors.

Please please please please don't let Nathan be gone for good! Seriously, there is a lot of story left to tell surrounding that character and as much as I love the show I don't know if I could watch it without Nathan.

So bummed right now :( Every show I love ends with the death (or hopefully in Nathan's case, appearance of death) of my favorite character. :(

Someone probably already mentioned this (sorry, I don't have the patience to go through all 1000+ posts so far) but...couldn't Peter have flown himself up into space since he has Nathan's power or teleport himself using Hiro's power...I guess maybe he can't use more than one power at any particular time.

All in all it was a good episode. Would have been great if Sylar and Peter actually fought with their powers (instead of Sylar showing better control over his powers than Peter, like he always does). Peter lost every fight he had against Sylar even though he's more powerful than Sylar.

I guess things needed to be written so that there could be more tie ins between Volume I and Volume II.

I don't understand why Peter couldn't just fly away himself??? Why did he need Nathan to die doing it for him? Unnecessary. At least if Claire had shot him no one would have died (including Peter!). I know Nathan wouldn't have redeemed himself but we could have thought of other ways for him to turn to the good side! Now he's dead.

Absolutely great! I had to watch it twice! I am so glad that Nathan redeemed himself. He was very hard to read sometimes-perfect politician! Although I would prefer him not to be dead, although that would force Peter to rely on himself more, not his big brother. I do like that Jessica/Niki finally merged. So, poor Molly, who's an orphan. It will be interesting to see who she goes with: Mohinder, Matt, or Niki & D.L. It will be interesting to learn more about the "history" of Heroes and what the first group did. I loved how Peter,Nikki and Hiro, representatives of all three major aspects of the story line got a shot at Sylar. It was great.

Will the graphic novels be published in book form?

You once said that the world wouldn't have been saved if everyone had not played a certain part. Can you explain how everyone was connected with the result.

Can you spill the beans on Charles Deveaux's power or will that be discussed when HEROES returns.

Peter has Eden's ability. But he has to think of her in order to use it, but he's not gonna think of her unless he knows that she has a power, which he doesn't....correct?

I too have been a fan since day 1!!! I loved the finale but am devastated that both Peter and Nathan are gone.(hopefully Tim will keep them in the show). I knew Nathan was good at heart...and great way to tie everything together. What an exceptional ending to and exceptional season. Oh an P.S. avoid the 6 week hiatus' it affected the ratings way too much and I want this show to be around for a looooonnggg time. Hayden your are the greatest!! Make Cheerleaders proud gal!!

First off i would like to say that i agree the other hundreds of comments saying great work.
Secondly i would like to throw out a question for each of you. First is how hard is it for you Ms. Panettiere to be working on the series and going through your education at the same time. Do you have much time to go to school in between filming or do you have a tutor or home schooled of some type. I am just wondering if your work gets in the way and how you cope with that.
Second question would be for Mr. Kring. I know some writers who write long stories, or stories with multiple parts do something along the lines of writing out a large outline of the plot to make sure they do not say kill of someone who later needs to be alive. I would like to know in the writers room, do you have something like this were you know where the plot is going far down the road. Or do you only plan for a few episodes in advance.

A little (a lot) dissapointed in the finale. I mean, can we expect to get some major answers next season? It almost seems like this is doing a Star Wars, where they start off with eppie 4, then go backwords and explain. I don't think that was needed for this show... We saw in the "future" episode that Niki no longer suffers from her identity crisis with her deceased sister, Jessica. In the final episode tonight, Niki was finally able to use the power of super strength on her own. Hey everyone love the show .. only wish the fight scene between sylar and peter had been ... well ... longer much longer. this episode did seem to be stuffed with events but hopefully we will see some more of everyone next season.

Wonderful finale - I didnt think Sylar (such a good villian) had a chance of being killed off till Molly mentioned there was someone "worse" so you managed to keep me guessing till the end. I thought Nathan might fly Peter off - but figured Peter could have done it himself - but now I see it was taking all his concentration not exploding

I love the ending with Hiro and his "dad"- question is, is his dad immortal and that is really him after all these years (if so, why didnt he recognize young Hiro would the Hiro he met?) or just that anscestor that looks the same. I am still waiting for why he looks like Sulu since I heard somewhere that George insisted on there being an explaination.

Sylar left to limp off with with the cockroachs - he knew he wouldnt die from a mere sword wound after falling off a building, but to be honest I thought maybe he'd got the power of indestructable/bullet proof skin from someone and the sword couldnt really go thru him. Figured that's what protected him from the time he was shot at, then fell off the building, and who knows what else. He doesnt have healing power, but he does continually die and come back ..just what is it? What's the power that helps him do that?

With him still alive, everyone else we saw is still in danger .. everytime we see Sylar use a familiar power we'll know who he offed last.

I was suprised unconcious Candice looked just like the Candice we saw - from her "I huge" comment, and how people hated others for the way they looked, I was expecting her to look vastly different and that Candice she showed others was just what she thought was an [i]ideal[/i] people would respond to.

Hope Matt survives - and I was so glad to see Charles was on the side of angels at last.. I thought he was a benefactor to Peter, that Peter's dreaming ablity came from him, but then, as more and more power mongering kidnappers met on the roof of his building, I had guessed he'd gone dark side as well. Very pleased to see he hadnt.

Looking forward to season 2! Havent enjoyed a show this much since Farscape!

Anyone else think when Heroes comes out on DVD folks will be waiting outside stores the way Harry Potter fans do?

Ok, Sylar is dead. But the one more powerful than Sylar, according to Molly, took his body. What he plans to do only Tim knows. This show won me over from my previous favorite, Smallville, and even beat Scrubs. That is hard to say and I'm sure i'll wake up to Zach Braff trying to strangle me.

I was wondering if anyone has tried to make comparisons between X-Men and Heroes? I could see fans of the X-Men series complaining that you have "ripped off" similar characters. Regardless of what they think, I am a big fan of the show and cannot wait for next season, keep up the excellent work.

For a show trying to do so much to please all of their fans with "groundbreaking" internet content, you're sure losing some fans by not delivering on the "live blog" with the show's creator and star.

Aside from the obviously scarring lack of Sylar, the season finale was so-so for me. I mean, heck, finding out HRG's name made my week, but come on. NO fighting, at all. Any fighting that took place was Sylar smashing someone against a wall and them getting away and, well, Nikki's little emotional scrap with Candice (who BETTER not be dead!) Other than that, good surprises and the everyone getting together was cool.

This show is amazing! I came into it late and had to pull a couple all nighters to catch up online...this final episode just so happened to be the only one I watched on t.v! Mr. Kring, I think you are a genius! This is th best series I have seen in a while! Keep it up (but please don't kill Peter or Mohinder; I love them!) Hayden, I think you are amazing and such a fantastic actress! You're character glues the show together and keeps the energy up!! I believe the season finale brought up more questions than answered. I love the show,but, a part of me believes you just "jumped the shark". 1. About 4-5 episodes into the series there seemed to be a significant reduction in the amount and duration of graphic scenes. Was that at the request of the network, your own cast/crew or a self-governed change of direction?

I was pretty darn surprised with the way things turn out. I was wondering though why was the ending with Nathan and Peter sacrificing themselves picked since there's many different ways it could have gone down, and two couldn't the fight with Sylar gone a little different? I'm not saying I didn't love it I'm just saying I'd like to see Sylar's other powers too. Anyhow thanks for putting me on a run for my money with the season DVD ;-;

Great season, I was in school and wanted to come home to see this show. The story line is ridiculous.Very smart to think of regular people being heroes, because everybody always think of having some type of power.

Where was the awesome season finale of Heroes you promised? What happened to it being 2 hours long? How did Peter get his scar? Did Nathan die? Did Peter die? Did Sylar really die? Where was the final fight between Peter and Sylar that had been built up for quite some time? Where was the shocking end? Where was there anything that was surprising? If Sylar was really that unstoppable and Hiro went through the awesome training montage with Sulu then why was a single blow all it took? What was with Shaft and the dream sequence? What was with Momma Petrelli and Shaft? Do you feel any need to explain what her power was? For that matter, what Shaft's power was? Who is the man who can see Molly when she looks for him?

Hayden, whats it like to be indistructable? lol, if you could choose. Who's power would you have instead of the one your character got? I myself, would like to have either Peter's or Hiro's. Peter's powers rock, I think it'd be awesome to beable to sample and keep everyone's powers that I'd come into contact with. Hiro can go back and visit his ancesters and further back. I'm pretty sure in the second volume that'll be what he'll be doing in Generations.

Loved all season. Hated the season finale. Absolutely hated it. Here's why...

If all it took was for Hiro to yell, run up, and stab Sylar he could have done it when they met in the earlier episode. Bad writing.

We've waited all season for Peter and Sylar to face off and you reduced the confrontation of two super-powered folks to a punch fight just like every other show on TV. DUMB.

The part where Nikki/Jessica comes over and smacks Sylar with the parking meter was definitely a highlight. WHY NOT GET THE REST OF THE CAST INVOLVED IN THE FINAL SEQUENCE IN SOME OTHER WAY THAN AS SPECTATORS. Again, BAD WRITING.

For a show that builds up the tension and promises at least a glimmer of more special effects for a finale, this last show could have been WORLDS better.

I'm disappointed.

Ahhhh! Another Gripping episode of Hereos!!! The thrill doesn't stop nor does the plot. I wish Sylar would have been killed off. But, You can't allways get what you ask for. When Simone's Father Took Peter into the selective memory, I believe that was a real moment. I Hope to see the episodes intensify. I do not want this show to end. Please, Try to make a good movie, not a show rip off-Do not make a video game, that will ruin everything-hah. Hayden, and the rest of the cast you have a great director at control. He seems to know exactly what he wants. You all are great actors/Actresses, please keep up the excellent work. And someone eplain the signifigance of the Cockroach/Slug(i believe a cockroach) and The eclipse (other than the fact that is the symbol hat broughtr the powers to the heros-My theory), Please bring back the brothers, I wanted to cry when they died, but I kept my manly hood alive. Saddest episode ever! Made me tear up~ Who is the man who can see Molly when she looks for him? That made me the most curious!

soo, Sylar isn't dead? And is the bad guy that molly was talking about that can see her have something to do with cockroaches? There was one by the sewer drain that Sylar crawled into, and in the first episode all of what Suresh said to his class about how if God was an insect or something he would be a cockroach. Possibly? Well, if not, do cockroaches have any significance in the next season?

Loved all season. Hated the season finale. Absolutely hated it. Here's why...

If all it took was for Hiro to yell, run up, and stab Sylar he could have done it when they met in the earlier episode. Bad writing.

We've waited all season for Peter and Sylar to face off and you reduced the confrontation of two super-powered folks to a punch fight just like every other show on TV. DUMB.

The part where Nikki/Jessica comes over and smacks Sylar with the parking meter was definitely a highlight. WHY NOT GET THE REST OF THE CAST INVOLVED IN THE FINAL SEQUENCE IN SOME OTHER WAY THAN AS SPECTATORS. Again, BAD WRITING.

For a show that builds up the tension and promises at least a glimmer of more special effects for a finale, this last show could have been WORLDS better.

I'm disappointed.

i was just wondering, what exactly is the symbol of the eclipse....it happened in the beginning of the show and now at the end of the season when hiro is in the past...it appears again...what exactly does it symbolize or did you just use it just because?

That was definately an amazing ending, but I had no idea this was only volume 1. Thank god! Anyhow, what made you come up with such a brilliant plot for the series? I love the way how the characters roles are so much how people are in the real world, and how a person would feel or behave if they suddenly gained such an extrodinary ability. Would they use it for good or evil? It makes you think, would evolution such as what these characters have taken into, could it actually happen? Hayden it makes me wonder if there is more to your character's role and her purpose than what has been said so far. Do you think the series will get alot more into it in the future? You know all this superhero stuff makes me want to become an actor lol.

I can't wait for another two hours to watch the finale on the West Coast. I really love this show very much so. This is the only T.V. show I really watch, now-a-days. I love how everything from previous episodes come back again in future ones. I hope no other Heroes die. They are all so cool, including Sylar. That would be cool if Sylar comes back in the second season as a good guy and helps them to defeat the guy that is more powerful and more evil than he is. This show really fueled my interest in genetics and biochemisty/biotech, and graphic arts. Thanks so much for making such a great show, and Ms.Panettiere, great job on the show and all of your previous works. THE OTHER BAD GUY IS CHARLIE!!! Remember when Molly said if she tried to track him, that he'd know she was doing it? It couldn't be the cop because she kept calling him her hero... So... my theory is that it's charlie because when peter passed out in the street and went to "find out the truth" all the Simone, the other peter, the mom, and Charlie were all there, yet only Charlie KNEW he was there AND Charlie knows about everything that was going on!!! Am I even Close?

All we know is that there is someone out there that is worst than Sylar, Sylar survives, Hiro's back in the 17th century in Japan, and Peter and Nathan are dead.

What is Volume 2 going to be about?

The season finale was not that good too predictable no answers. Sylar dies , but not really. Nathan and Peter blow up in a supernova. The future episode was much better should have made that the finale and this should have been the 1st episode of next season. I need some answers . Who else is a part of the secert society besides Linderman ,Shaft, and Peter's mom and Sulu? Who is this bad guy more powerful than Sylar? What is Peter's mom 's power? Is Simone really dead?

I do not understand the season finale. The whole season was amazing, the 50 minutes of this final episode were amazing, and the ending was just okay.
Why have all this happen so fast? The only thing I feel wrong is that:
Why "kill" Sylar so easily? I mean, this guy is near-invincible, and he is done in by a sword. We all expected an epic battle between Nikki, Hiro, Peter, Nathan, Claire, Parkman, and others...but we got a 30 second sword plunge...

I loved the entire season, but feel the epic final battle that we all hoped for could have been just a little better. It was still awesome, and you DID answer the question "How do you stop an exploding man?"

Can't wait for Season Two. Hope every character is back; I hate change.

soo, Sylar isn't dead? And is the bad guy that molly was talking about that can see her have something to do with cockroaches? There was one by the sewer drain that Sylar crawled into, and in the first episode all of what Suresh said to his class about how if God was an insect or something he would be a cockroach. Possibly? #1) When Molly talked about that guy who she never wanted 2 find becasue every she thinks about him he can c her (very creepy by the way)......

What an amazing show from the start I was hooked. More or less you had me at hello sort of. Cool way of taking one season and moving straight in to another at thee end of the season finally. How much of Season two is filmed as of how? When will we see Heroes once more...Next year...This Summer?

Well to start off, Tim, as a fellow film maker, you have inspired me in my future productions. I love in the inventive and dramatic storylines. You do something that many people can't, you not only tell over ten diffrent storylines, but you switch from each perspective so flawlessly while still maintaining the ovreall storyline for the episode. I bow down to your greatness...although you can't see it.

Hayden...Well, hayden, I've always admired your talent as an actress from your earlier works [i.e. Kingdom Hearts] To be honest, I started watching Hereos because I heard you'd be on it. Does that mean that this season's characters won't be the main focus anymore? I mean, why spend a whole season having us get to know these characters when they'll only be main characters for 1 season? Will you do this with the future seasons as well?

my theory is that sylar either crawled into the sewer or turned himself into a roach. how? no idea.
i think they should have saved more for the finale from the last two episodes.
peter is probably coming back, because he can regenerate, unless nathan took him to space, in which case, he can't breathe and dies. nathan probably flew off at the last moment. maybe.
there are a lot of confusing parts that i hope will be cleared up in "generations". i think volume two will focus on the generations of heroes before the modern ones.
i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure that was gorge takei (hiro's dad) in the armor. and the eclipse means people are discoverng their powers.

Hey guys, I agree, great show. The ending was nice and redemptive - got to love the sacrificial brother thing there. I must be missing something - why couldn't Clair have just shot Peter? We know he regenerates. Or why couldn't Peter himself have flown off, having presumably absorbed his brother's power? Can he not have two powers in effect at one time?

I guess I'm just wondering why Nathan had to "die," even if it gave us that nice cinematic ending.

To Tim: I remember seeing in the online comic that Mr. Petrelli was not a Hero in the War Buddies series, but Linderman mentions that he is. Did he just develop later, or was it something he was unaware of? Or is that something we'll be learning in Season 2?

How did Sylar get the Iceman ability? He used it to break Hiro's sword, but it was never shown how he got it.

I hope ya'll aren't gonna bring peter into season two not knowing who he is or something cause thats such a tired and frustrating revival of a character move?

Who agrees that the best character was that comic guy who got really excited over the last issue of 9th Wonders? Seriously, he is my favorite character. I really hope he has a part in season two.

How can Sylar be dead? How can Sylar not be dead? Isn't Sylar supposed to appear in the second season? Why is Hiro in 1672?

Hi, Hayden Panettiere and Tim Kring. What I mostly want to know after this spectactular season finale (Probably the best of any show I've ever seen, such as LOST or Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis) is if Sylar really dead? I don't know, for some srange reason I really like Sylar. I want to see more of him in the next season. Please don't let him be dead, until at least the end of it all.

You know i was just thinking about the first few episodes and watching Hayden. It seems as if you have added a lot more depth to your character. Have you been learning from others in the cast or was it finding your "character"?

I heard that when season 2 starts, there will be a new spin-off called Heroes: Origins.

Will this be instroducing new characters with genetic abilities every week into the world of Heroes, or will this explain the history of Peter and Nathan's mother and father, and their relationship with Hiro's dad as well as Simone's father and how they all were in a group with Lenderman?

Please explain this! I would love to understand what was the big deal between them -- this would explain why they planned the bomb from such a long time ago, and how to use their own children to decide the fate of the world.

Well.. that was pretty sweet. No other show gets me jumping around my room like heroes does. I was wondering what happened with Simone's father... that was a little confusing. Also, shouldn't the cops have shown up in Isaac's loft like they did when Hiro went into the future... they never did. Also, the last explosion was in the daytime... but that was in the nighttime.. The most confusing thing was when the heroes went into the future.. I'll watch it a few more times and maybe it'll make more sense then. Anyways, great show. Can't wait for Season 2. I mean volume 2

You seem to have a knack for making endings to Heroes horribly anti-climatic... why? Any reason besides building up suspense?

Also, the finale really felt like it needed to be two hours long and stuff felt very rushed...

And lastly, why the ripping on Lost a month or so ago? Hell, I could accuse you as well of having no set plot seeing as how random the whole Nate being Claire's father thing seemed just to have something for sweeps... not to mention all the sexual tension between Peter and Claire.

Hello Tim and Hayden! I just want to say wow! I never knew someone would be able to bring superheroes to primetime, but you did it! Heroes is truly amazing! I just got done watching the finale and let me just say that I can't wait until this September!

There are a few questions I have, though. I know that Nathan is...er...no longer with us. But what about Peter? I'm a big Peter fan and I don't want him to die, so I'm kinda worried.

Second, I still am wondering how Sylar acquires his powers. I know it has something to do with their brains, but what after he gets a hold of them? I missed a couple of episodes after the December hiatus, so it might be answered in there, but I'm just checking.

Thirdly and finally, how did Peter get his scar in the future? Will that ever be explained? Does he get it anyway?

You are an awesome actor! I bought into Claire immediately and I feel like Claire and Hiro are great characters to experience the show through. Whereas with characters like Nikki you feel like you're seeing everything over their shoulder, but with your character it's like we've grabbed on and holding on tight as we go through it all with you. I hope you enjoy your time off, you've totally earned it!

Hello there. Just finished watching the season finale, and I have to say that I'm totally blown away by what happened. Thank you Tim Kring for creating such an invigorating and addictive show!!! It has great characters, a great storyline, and the finale was priceless. Looking forward to purchasing the DVD set, and I'm hoping Season 2 will be just as entertaining. :)

I was wondering if you look to comic heroes like Spiderman or Superman for powers/personalities when you created the characters? It must be tough not to make them too similar to heroes we already know.

What cast mate did you seem to hang out/ get along with best on the show?

Is Claude going to be returning? He was my favorite character to date, and I think there's so much of his story left for the telling, both his past and his future.

I just hope Peter gets better mind over his abilities. He could have flown off on his own, blown up in the sky, regenerated, then come back down...no use in taking out your big bro who can't regenerate.

Heroes is my all time favorite TV Show!! What an excellent idea for a show!!! I honestly didn't know anything about until about 2 weeks ago. I caught all the episodes online (Which is freakin' sweet!) except for the last two. I love Peter's character the most!!! He's awesome!! Claire is next, love all the 'stuff' she brings to the show! Please keep Nathan!!! I don't really care about Parkman, I haven't cared for him since the future episode.. (it may just be my prejudice against cops though). Thanks for creating a most awesome show!! The finale was did not let me down!! AWESOME!! :D

That was a fantastic finale, but I couldn't help but notice a couple huge loopholes. First, why couldn't Hiro just have frozen time during his first encounter with Sylar (in this episode) and killed him. Then, Matt wouldn't have died. Also, since Peter acquired his brother's ability, why couldn't he just fly away by himself, maybe out in the middle of the ocean or something. He could then regenerate and survive. This way, the only person that had to die was Sylar. Oh well.

Tim, I've read your response to this question before, but I want some reassurance: You did develop a plotline well in advance of this season ending, in hopes of continuing on to a second season, right? Tell me the plot won't fizzle.

PLEASE SOMEHOW BRING NATHAN AND PETER BACK NEXT SEASON. As prickly as Nathan may be I think deep down he's a good person and a LOVING brother. I've never thought he was evil.....just confused. I really don't want him to die. Please make them both come back next season......I'll be so dissapointed if both of them don't return.

That was a pretty good finale, but like every other episode it left a LOT of questions unanswered, such as:

Well all i can say is wow that was the most amazing ending of any show i have ever seen most of the time you see really dramatic shows with horrible acting or really good acting with horrible writing it is rare to find an amazing idea with an amazing cast, Hayden I honestly believe when award time comes around it would be a crime for you not to win one or at least be nominated and as for the show well it is one of the most original ideas we have seen in years i guess i dont really have a question just more like a really nice comment and opinion and im not just some person off the street making a comment im an aspiring director so i think i know good tv a little better then the average joe i actually have an idea for hayden that i think she would like and while you probably wouldnt even consider it cause im a no one right now i thought i would give it a chance but honestly im not saying all these nice things to get anything i still mean them regardless the show is WOW i cant wait till next season

And for those of you who cant figure out the finer details of Peters power....he wouldnt have died from that burst. even his mother had said so. since he absorbed claires power of regen, he would heal himself. if nathan were smart, he would have thrown peter into the higher stratusp[here so the blast would have no effect on the lower layers of atmosphere, but not hard enough to send him into outspace. and then gotten away himself so the blast didnt kill him. leaving peter to burn his way back to the earth through the many layters of atmosphere and crash to earth....which, even that he would survive.

I guess I'm not sure how saving the cheerleader saved the world and how future Hiro with the soulpatch knew that and how anybody knew peter petrelli was going to blow up.

This is to Tim, I was wondering if Heroes will be written as a series of paperback like the Star Wars/ Star Trek and other tv shows series. And if so do you have writers in mind? Being a published author I am naturally curious about such things.

In one of the first episodes PETER abosorbed the power to fly from NATHAN. Why didn't Peter just fly himself away? And why didn't Claire just shoot him? I'm upset that Nathan died. And Sylar? The man was shot in the chest and was able to crawl into the sewer...

The ending doesn't quite make sense. Peter could fly himself, he should have just flown up himself. Nathan didn't need to help him. Unless he can only use one power at the time or was too afraid to know what to do.

I love the show! The best new show this season by far. So much has happened in 23 episodes that it feels like its been more than a year. The only thing is the finale left more questions than answers.. Did Peter survive the explosion? What's going to happen to the rest of the cast? Is Season 2 going to take place in the year 1670?

OMG. That was a fantastic finale. I really loved how all the heroes came together at Kirby Plaza. And witnessed Peter and Nathan fly into the sky and exlode! OMG. That was so amazing.

Hayden. I was crying at you and Milo's scene when you were struggling with having to shoot him. And then the way you looked at Nathan when you realized he was going to help. Perfect portrayal of emotions in that scene. You also did such a fantastic job when you were hugging Nathan but then whispered that you had a family and jumped out the frigging window! LOL. I really love how you and Mr. Bennet interact on the show too.

Kring. Seriously, how did you come up with this stuff. It's INCREDIBLE! The storylines just test humanity and the lengths they are going to sacrifice for one another. I really thing with Peters character in this finale you showed that there still can be people that long unconditionally and do good things in this world.

First off, congrats to everyone involved on an amazing 1st season! 2 part question really, 1) Now that Peter has healing powers, and it's known Claire survived, please tell me Peter didn't die. And 2) whens the dvd coming out and what can expect for extras??

Loved this series - easily one of the best of all time. Thought the final episode was a huge letdown though...very dissapointing. Everything was great up till this episode. Hope for something better next season. Amazing job other than the huge mishandling of the finale.

So is all of "Generations" based in the past, or does it just start there with Hiro? And also, are all of the cast that were still alive returning, or is it going to be a mostly new cast with some returning people?

I was kind of disappointed in the bomb scene, to be honest. All that build up for Nathan to just blast off with Peter? Kind of a downer. Why couldn't they just talk him out of it? Or punch him, like the invisible guy...

I was kind of disappointed by the ending, well the part before they showed the volume two part, I was expecting some explosive action especially with all the suspense but it just fizzled at the end...although I knew that Sylar wasn't dead. I love the show and cannot wait for the next season! Good Work guys, fabulous show.

I'm glad Peter didn't die, but why did Nathan have to? If Sylar can see the future, why didn't he stop his death if he knew exactly what would happen? Is the question about the other person the little girl stated she doesn't want to find.. are we going to find it out next season?

What is the meaning of the symbol we've seen throughout the Heroes Series, we've seen it on Jessica and now tonite on the finale in ancient Kyoto Japan along with alot of other places. And does the symbol have any significence in volume 2?

I really enjoy the friendship between Peter and Claire. It’s a sweet big brother-little sister relationship. It’s probably the thing I care the most about on the show. Will Peter and Claire get more screen time together in the second season?
